Presidential palace, formerly the temporal home of the papacy when the pope still ruled the papal states. Definitely the case that the presidential court in Italian has all the trappings of monarchy. Grand and yet somehow understated.

The Palazzo del Quirinale is near the Fontana di Trevi, a wide plaza along the street with a good spot to look the city from above. there are some seats to stay and relax.

The Italian presidential palace, the Quilinare Palace, is near the Wish Pool, built in the eighteenth century, originally the papal palace (equivalent to the Summer Palace), the Italian kingdom in 1870 after the march of Rome to drive away the pope, the Italian palace (the king's residence). In 1946, Italy was converted into a republic and it became the presidential palace, the Italian president is a ceremonial function. The palace is huge, with a large garden, but not open to ordinary tourists, and there is an ancient Roman obelisk on the square.

The palace is a display of fine artworks and stories of the Italian Republic, including documents that mark different political periods. This trip is in Italy. But we were lucky that on the day of our trip, we happened to have an English speaking volunteer accompanying us on a guided tour. He was hospitable and knowledgeable.

The Palace of Quilinare is a historic building in Rome, Italy, and the current residence of the President of the Republic of Italy. Located in the highest part of the seven hills of Ma, the palace is equivalent to the White House. The opening hours on Sunday are 8.30 to 12 o'clock, with the exception of public holidays. The admission fee is only 5 euros and is free if you are under 18 years of age.
