The Old Painting Gallery is Munich's most famous gallery, one of the six largest galleries in the world, built in 1826. The museum contains paintings from the Middle Ages to the mid-18th century, including the works of the famous German painters Diller, Rubens and Rembrandt, the greatest painter in Dutch history.
