7月19日早晨，我们告别大柴旦，前往乌素特水上雅丹。大柴旦到水上雅丹有两条路，一条是S314转G215，再转G315，全程225公里，无收费，路上有大柴旦雅丹魔鬼城、南八仙雅丹地貌等看点；另一条是走柳格高速转G315，全程216公里，同样无收费。路上有小柴达木湖、U形天路、陆上雅丹地貌等看点。 为此，我们决定，今天走柳格高速转G315进乌素特水上雅丹，明天出乌素特水上雅丹去冷湖镇再走G315转G215。全程不走重复路，两条路上的风景都不错过。 驶出大柴旦就是一片苍茫，起伏不定的莽原上看不到一点绿色。面对不毛之地，我们敬畏上天的造化、更敬畏我中华之先人，正是有了他们的世代接力，才有了戈壁上的片片绿洲，使得我们来此旅行是如此地便捷！ 沿着柳格高速向南行驶不到一小时，就到了著名的小柴达木湖。小柴达木湖地处德小高速和柳格高速十字路口，这里向南60公里就是我国最大的盐湖——察尔汗盐湖，据说，它蕴藏的盐量足够全世界食用600年；西连接著名的G315，G315东起西宁，横贯青海，向西穿越塔里木到新疆和田的莎车。沿途风光绮丽，地貌奇特，一路串连了诸多地理网红新秀，是一条名副其实的景观大道。 小柴达木湖又称小柴旦湖，湖面69平方公里，是大柴旦境内最大的咸水湖。它与大柴达木湖有“一山隔两湖”之称。饶有趣味的是，小柴旦湖却比大柴旦湖要大，故有“大柴旦湖不大，小柴旦湖不小”之说。 　　青海柴达木盐湖众多，许多虽然算不上景点，但这些湖泊很有特色，每当天气晴好无风，每天早晨或黄昏，这些盐湖就会水如镜面，以山为景，水天一色，景色亦真亦幻。 小柴旦湖也是一座咸水湖，由于它周边人迹罕至，茫茫戈壁之上，远看它就像一片绿洲。更为奇特的是，每逢季节交替，天气变化、不同的时间段，小柴旦湖会呈现不同的色彩，每当风平浪静，湖面就会雪山群峰和蓝天白云倒映，仿佛一幅画卷。 我们到达小柴旦湖当天，风很大，天气也不好。眼前的小柴旦湖并不出彩，但人们在茫茫戈壁能相遇一方碧水，自然也会情趣盎然。此刻，站在这个风高浪涌的大湖边，以雪山昆仑为盟，以高原的云和风为证，人们都竞相在此留下一份属于自己的记忆！ 据说，如果运气好，每逢大浪淘沙之后，小柴旦湖的岸边就能捡到昆仑玉之类的宝石，还是那句话，信不信由你。今天，这里确有许多“淘宝人”。我们随即加入其中，可在此寻寻觅觅，最终也没看见宝石的模样！ 小柴旦湖一景。
