Wuyuan Lushan Karst Cave Group Scenic Area is the largest Karst Group in northern China, known by experts as the "first Karst Group in Jiangbei". The caves here are centered on the Wuyuan Ape Man site and developed in the thick mud limestone of the Middle Ordovician, more than 500 million years ago, which is the most concentrated natural cave north of the Yangtze River, and many cave landscapes are called the most in the country.
