First of all, I’d love to say a huge thank you to Ms. Susie, our tour guide! She was super kind, friendly, and professional. We felt very comfortable with her warm and welcoming personality, and she guided us smoothly from beginning to end of the tour. The tour was exactly what we expected. Gubei Water Town was so peaceful and stunning, not as crowded as many other tourist destinations in China. We had plenty of free time to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, walk around the town, explore the local shops and snacks, and visit the Dye House and Traditional Wine Maker Factory. We also took a boat ride with the best views of the town and Simatai Great Wall. After lunch at a restaurant, where we each had our own individual hot pot, we took the cable car — definitely the best way to save some steps under the summer heat! 😆 Then we hiked up to Simatai Great Wall. It was absolutely majestic and completely worth the experience. This was the only section of the Great Wall that lights up at night

It's right next to the Lufthansa business district and embassy area, and just a short walk to Sanyuanqiao subway station. Getting to Sanlitun and Liangma Bridge takes about ten minutes by taxi. The entire street is packed with Japanese, Korean, and BBQ restaurants, making it super convenient to grab a bite after work. Whether it's for business dinners or casual meals, you'll have plenty of options. The room was exceptionally clean, with no dust or odd smells in the corners. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the hot water came on quickly and consistently. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—and the soundproofing was excellent. I barely heard any traffic noise from the road, which meant I could get a really good night's sleep after a busy day. The room's Wi-Fi was stable, and streaming or working on presentations was seamless. The desk was also a good size, perfect for handling urgent work without any hassle. There's a Lawson convenience store in the office building section of the same complex. The service was incredibly attentive. As soon as my car stopped, staff members were there to open the door and help with luggage. Unlike some hotels that ask guests for positive reviews by name, it felt like this was just their standard service, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. When I was leaving and had trouble finding my way, a lobby staff member personally walked me to the intersection and gave detailed directions and explanations. My three-night stay was extremely satisfying. This hotel truly became our relaxing sanctuary during our trip to Beijing. Thank you for the hotel's warm service. The nearest subway station is about a 10-minute walk at a regular pace. However, I didn't find any escalators or elevators at that specific subway exit, so those with large luggage might want to confirm this beforehand.

Let's start with the positives: Firstly, the location is excellent. Right outside the entrance is Chongwenmen subway station, making it incredibly convenient to reach all the major attractions. This is definitely the hotel's biggest selling point. Secondly, the staff are very service-oriented. Their customer care, from booking to check-out, was impressive, and the front desk was quick to help guests resolve issues during my stay. Now for the areas that need improvement: As it's an older hotel, the facilities are quite basic and dated. The lighting is also on the dim side, especially in the elevators. The rooms show signs of age, with some water stains and black mold visible in the bathroom, and dust accumulation in the corners of the wardrobe door tracks. During this stay, the first room (B213) had a strong odor from the bathroom drain, so with the help of the front desk, I moved to a different room (B559). However, the air conditioning in the second room was not very effective; even at its lowest setting, the room temperature stayed around 27 degrees Celsius, making it feel a bit stuffy in the mornings or at midday. Overall, considering the price, Xinqiao Hotel offers acceptable value for money in the city center. My suggestions for the hotel are: 1. Replace the lighting with brighter white lights to make the place feel less dated. 2. Increase the frequency of maintenance for drainage pipes and the central air conditioning system. 3. Improve the cleanliness of room corners, particularly in the bathrooms.

The room was super spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling window offered an unparalleled city skyline view, with the CCTV Headquarters (the 'big trousers') and China Zun tower side-by-side. That feeling of having the imperial capital at your feet instantly made the room rate worthwhile! I must particularly praise the Kerry Club Lounge on the 18th floor! It was truly the highlight of my entire stay! The service from Ms. Lucy, Clara, and Seanna was simply delightful, making me feel incredibly welcome. That sense of profound grandeur, refined by the passage of time, is a quality new hotels simply cannot replicate. The gym and heated swimming pool are top-tier for hotels in China, with huge spaces and comprehensive equipment. Even just a swim feels like a luxury. My two-day journey in the heart of luxury left me wanting more. Not only is the location unbeatable, but the service and dining are also exceptional! Stepping into the lobby, it was bright, and a pleasant aroma filled the air, immediately giving us a holiday vibe and easing our nerves. The young lady at the front desk was incredibly warm and thorough during check-in. She double-checked our late checkout request multiple times to ensure it was fine. Knowing we were there for our child's exam, she even extended our checkout to 3 PM, which was a very rare and thoughtful gesture. Despite many students and parents checking in, it never felt crowded. The elevators were fast, room service was prompt, and the little robot delivering items was adorable and busy. The room itself was spacious and clean. The first night, the hot water in the bathroom wasn't very hot, possibly due to a high number of guests, but the bathtub was very comfortable, and the bedding was cozy. There was a slight creak when turning over, but it was acceptable. Staff were quick to respond to any extra requests. Parking was free after registering at the front desk. The second and fifth floors offer numerous family-friendly activities like go-karts, bowling, billiards, hopscotch, and a petting zoo – you'd need more than a day to try everything. The hot springs also offer overnight packages, with a variety of spacious and uniquely designed pods on the second floor and B1, offering excellent value for money. The biggest surprise this time was the 'pet companionship' service in the room. We were lucky enough to meet the adorable Ragdoll cat, Qiuqiu, who spent an unforgettable hour with our children. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel, and we'll definitely return if we get the chance!

It was freezing outside in winter, but super warm inside – I felt like I could wear a T-shirt, the air conditioning was excellent. The service was generally great. My child threw a beanbag up onto the ceiling, which was about three or four meters high, and the hotel staff even managed to get it down for us. I'm very grateful for that. I deducted 0.5 points for service because the front desk staff seemed clueless; when I asked where to feed the alpacas, they said they didn't know and that it was handled by the hot springs area, implying it wasn't under their management. They mentioned the hot springs and entertainment were outsourced. However, we found the alpacas just a short distance outside the hotel lobby entrance, along with geese, ducks, and chickens. There were three large and two small alpacas, and they were adorable. Do bring them some carrots and greens; they looked quite hungry. For breakfast, go early, before 8 AM, as it's very abundant. If you go later, you'll miss out on the delicious cream cakes. Dinner was a buffet due to New Year's, and the seafood was quite fresh for the hotpot. The hot springs were a bit crowded, but the kids had a good time, mostly hitting each other with ocean balls. There weren't many indoor hot spring pools, making it a bit cramped. The temperatures were all high, but it was very clean. They said there were outdoor pools too, but we didn't go as it was too cold.

The floor-to-ceiling window offered an excellent view; lying down and admiring the scenery was incredibly comfortable. The facilities were also comprehensive, and the pillows and mattress were perfectly comfortable. I slept like a baby, straight through till morning – the relaxation was first-class. Breakfast is also worth mentioning. There was a rich variety of both Chinese and Western dishes, with plenty of choices, making every morning meal very satisfying. The staff were consistently warm and polite, always thinking of the guests, and their service was incredibly thoughtful. They definitely deserve a big thumbs up! I had such a pleasant stay these past few days. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit~

It was super convenient for both sightseeing and getting around. I'd also seen a few reviews online mentioning a Korean staff member at this hotel, so I subtly looked for one during check-in, and sure enough, there was! Luckily, that staff member, Anica Kim, helped us directly with the check-in process. 😆 I remember her name was Anica Kim...!!! She even prepared a separate guide in Korean, which made explaining everything to my parents so easy. It had detailed information about using the hotel, and she even included our flight details and airport information for our return, which made finding the airport on our last day really smooth. 🤓❤️ She was also there on check-out day and recognized us first, asking about our stay, which I was so grateful for until the very end ㅠㅠㅠ. Honestly, I was a little worried about traveling abroad with my parents and facing language barriers, but those worries completely vanished the moment we checked in. That's why I truly recommend this hotel, especially for Korean travelers visiting Beijing with their parents!!! 💕 Besides the Korean staff, the other Chinese staff members were incredibly friendly too. They greeted us brightly every time we saw them and always smiled when we made eye contact, which made our entire stay at the hotel very pleasant. The weather was also perfect, and I feel like everything about this trip was flawless. Thanks to this hotel, my memories of Beijing will be really positive, and most importantly, my parents loved it so much that it will be a long-lasting memory for me too. 💛💛💛 I really want to recommend this to other Korean travelers. I've chosen the Four Seasons about five or six times in the past five years, and during that period, I've tried a few hotels that were even more expensive. Apart from one, none of them compared to the Four Seasons. Yes, in some people's eyes, it's 'old' – even though it's only 14 years old. Some also dislike its decor, finding it a bit dated and dark. But these are precisely the things I appreciate. 'Old' to me means mature, with more standardized and attentive service. And this understated, classic decor is exactly what I love. The room was spacious (I got an upgrade, not sure what room type it was), with separate areas for the bathroom, walk-in closet, and toilet – plenty of space. The long sofa, lounge chair, and desk were all sufficient and very comfortable. The service, however, deserves the highest praise. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home and that every request would be met. The bellhops proactively opened car doors and handled luggage, check-in was simple and quick, and smiles and greetings were evident from every staff member I encountered. Housekeeping was prompt, and amenities like drinking water, coffee, and snacks were always replenished. It honestly felt a bit overwhelming in the best way possible. Oh, and the location: it’s right by the most beautiful stretch of the Liangma River, just fifty meters away. Chaoyang Park is a 15-minute walk. If you're a food lover, the options are abundant – the Michelin one-star Cai Yi Xuan is on the second floor, and the three-star Xin Rong Ji is just 500 meters away. The only minor drawback: no smart bidet toilet. Next time I'm in Beijing, it will still be the Four Seasons!

My top choices for Beijing used to be the Mandarin Oriental, The Peninsula, or the Four Seasons, but now I’m definitely a Rosewood convert. 2. I particularly loved the 6th-floor wellness area. The pool and gym are separated, and the interplay of sunlight and water reflections is both beautiful and relaxing. The gym is spacious with diverse equipment. One afternoon, I even coincidentally saw a top-tier Chinese celebrity discreetly working out there. 3. The aesthetic design is excellent. Although the hotel has been open for a while, the attention to detail in its maintenance is evident. Having stayed in many luxury hotels in Beijing, the Rosewood consistently earns my trust across all aspects.
