We had a great experience at Thaiwoo Ski Resort! The resort is very well organized, with a wide variety of slopes for different levels. The pistes are well prepared, and the area is beautiful, especially in winter.Everything is convenient and easy to navigate—lifts work smoothly, and the overall atmosphere is fun and lively. There are plenty of places to rest, eat, and warm up between runs. The facilities are a bit old, and it has a Viennese style. The main pool is quite deep, but the kids' pool is suitable for children. It seems to be primarily a training facility, especially for external swimming lessons. So, after 5 PM, only one lane is available for swimming. The management is a bit lax and somewhat disorganized, but the service attitude is very good. The underground parking seems to be unusable. The breakfast isn't as diverse as those in big chain star hotels, but it really suits Chinese tastes. The roujiamo (meat burger) is quite good, and their lamb soup is excellent. Their milk tea is also nice, though the bread is just average. The rest are stir-fried dishes, and their hand-torn sausage is good, as are many of their cold dishes. They also offer black tea, which tastes pretty good. Oh, and I almost forgot the most important thing: the curtains are very thin and don't block out much light. Maybe it's a business hotel, and they want you to wake up and get to work as soon as it's light outside.

Stayed here on the second day of my competition. Overall, the facilities were quite good. It has a bamboo-themed decor. I booked a mountain view room with a balcony. Some rooms have them, some don't, and I later switched to one with a balcony. My online booking was 20 yuan more expensive than the walk-in rate, so if you're not in a hurry, it's worth checking the on-site prices before booking to compare. The room had two bathrooms. The toilet and shower were separate, and there was plenty of space. The room itself was also very large and even had a sofa. The air was incredibly fresh, and the views were stunning. It was also super convenient to get to Genting Theme Park. The air conditioning worked great. The only minor issue was that the bed creaked every time I turned over. Breakfast was excellent too, with a wide variety of options. I get the feeling this place would be incredibly convenient for skiing, as the slopes lead right to the hotel. I'd definitely come back in winter if I get the chance.

The hotel upgraded us to a larger room for free. If you're bringing kids, there are plenty of amusement options right within the resort, and in winter, there's a ski resort. All your dining, entertainment, and play needs are covered. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, we found out our tire had been punctured on the way and was flat. A staff member gave us a number for tire repair, and someone came within 10 minutes and fixed it very quickly. If you want to go out to eat, Chongli County is about 4 kilometers away by car.

The hotel room was clean, and its location within Thaiwoo Ski Town was excellent. The price was also quite good value for money compared to other hotels in the area. The only drawback was that the room was very hot in the summer; it was cold outside but hot inside, and the AC wasn't cooling. Opening the window was an issue because it was noisy at night, and I have severe allergies. Also, the breakfast wasn't great; the fried dough sticks and bread were rock hard, like baguettes. The variety was average for a 4-star hotel. The connecting rooms that Hyatt has an agreement for with Trip.com are quite unique and perfect for a family of three adults and one child, or four adults and one child. It's very suitable for families with kids. My grandpa's room had a problem with the bathroom ventilation system; he could always smell smoke, probably from someone smoking in a room upstairs or downstairs. I'm sure the hotel can improve this. I'd give it a 4-star rating.

As foreigners visiting Zhangjiakou in December for the first time for both travel and skiing, the overall experience couldn’t have been better — it was absolutely top-notch 👍. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They immediately noticed that we were traveling with children and had quite a bit of luggage, and proactively offered assistance, which made us feel very well cared for right away. The dining experience was equally impressive. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options to suit different tastes, and the availability of late-night snacks was a wonderful bonus, especially after a long day of skiing. Overall, whether it was the attention to detail at the front desk, the comfort and quality of the accommodation, or the excellent food and beverage service, this hotel truly delivered on all fronts. It’s absolutely an ideal choice for families traveling with children, and we would highly recommend Atour to anyone visiting Zhangjiakou.

I was torn between Fulong and Taiwoo for a while, and finally chose to stay at Fulong. And I feel like I made the right choice! 🥳🥳 Before I came, I saw many reviews for this Fulong hotel saying that the hygiene was poor, check-in took over an hour, the shower pressure was tiny, and the service attitude was bad, etc... However, this time, I didn't experience any of that. First, I booked a Lakeside Room. The hotel front desk said there were only two rooms of this type. Considering we were traveling with a child, this room layout with one double bed and one single bed perfectly suited our family of three. Second, I saw that check-in wasn't until 3 PM, so we decided to go straight to Cuiyun Mountain for some fun after arriving in Chongli. Around 2 PM, the hotel called me to let me know the room was ready for check-in anytime. They even thoughtfully added me on WeChat and gave me some tips from our check-in butler. Third, our check-in took less than 5 minutes, parking was free the whole time, and three meals were included, which was great. The hotel overall was good, and the balcony offered a direct view of the lake, which was very comfortable. Here are some things I need to complain about: 1. The carpet under the sofa was absolutely filthy (I didn't take photos because I didn't want to upset anyone, but there was all sorts of dirt on it – clearly hadn't been vacuumed). 2. Two of the hangers were broken. Why haven't they been replaced? 3. There were a lot of wood splinters on the balcony railing. This is due to wear and tear from the elements, but it's very easy to get pricked in the arm or hand when trying to take a picture of the lake view. They should repair and clean up these splinters. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel. I even specifically recommended this room type to two other families with kids. And the breakfast was really excellent! 👍👍

I highly recommend the Chongli Nanshanli Hotel – it's perfect for families with kids! The rooms are spacious and clean, and you get a beautiful view of the green mountains right from your window. The temperature in the mountains is comfortable, so sleeping at night is incredibly peaceful. The hotel has its own 'Hi-Fun Rangers' kids' club with plenty of slides and climbing challenges for the little ones to burn off energy. Right outside, there's a deer park where you can feed the deer, plus gentle hiking trails. After a day of activities, a dip in the indoor hot spring is incredibly relaxing. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, perfect for children. The resort town also provides free shuttle buses, making getting around very convenient. It's a one-stop-shop for accommodation, dining, and entertainment, so you don't have to constantly move around. Both adults and children had a wonderful time, and we'll definitely be back!

It's only a 10-minute drive to Taiwu Town, very convenient. However, parking is a bit difficult; the area is under construction, and while there are limited street parking spots, you either need to park in a public underground garage. I found a street parking spot as soon as I arrived because I didn't want the hassle. The room was nice, the bathroom was large, and the shower and toilet were separated. There was a small electric heater in the room, but I didn't use it and didn't feel cold. The room only has two floors, but there are many rooms on each floor. Breakfast was decent and was also on the second floor.

The hotel we booked has a pretty good location, right next to Fulong Ski Resort. You can park right at the hotel entrance. The hotel breakfast is decent, and there were a lot of kids from outside here for mountain biking, seemed like there was a competition going on. The front desk had a lovely young lady, I think her last name was Li, who provided excellent service. The charming young man working with her also left a good impression on us.

As someone with a pet, I was really satisfied with this pet-friendly hotel. From check-in to check-out, all the staff I encountered were very polite. The facilities are what you'd expect for a hotel of this brand and star rating, so there's not much to say there. The location is excellent; right outside is a plaza, making it very convenient to get anywhere. The hotel even thoughtfully provided breakfast for our furry friend. As pet owners, we made sure our dog wore a diaper in the room the whole time. What was really great was that there were no strange odors in either the room or the hallway. We met many other friendly dogs at the hotel, and everyone was very welcoming to pets. Next time we visit in the winter, we'll definitely bring our furry friend back to stay here.

Room was warm and stuffy. Staff did not mention the air conditioner was not in use prior to check in. There werent enough ventilation through the night as there only one small window that could be opened, and there’s an air purifier, which they mentioned could function as a fan but with minimal efficacy. Staff did mention about changing room at night when we informed then it was warm, but we dont think that would make any difference at all. All in all, we suggest they provide a proper electric fan which serves a good alternative to switching off the main air conditioner due to autumn.

Stayed with my family for two days, the room was very comfortable, the breakfast was rich, the taste was good, the hotel environment was beautiful, there was a gym and swimming pool, the waiter met and greeted, very polite, a beautiful young lady at the front desk was very patient, Take the initiative to introduce us to the surrounding classics and environment. For this trip, I chose the Parkston, which had the highest rating and ranked first on Dianping. Since I wasn't very familiar with it, I went with the recommended Preferred One-Bedroom Family Suite. Upon arrival, the hotel lobby automatically upgraded us to the Sleep Well Suite, which was a very pleasant surprise. The environment is beautiful, directly overlooking 'Taiwu Night'. The sofa in the living room can be pulled out into a bed, allowing a family of three to stay in one room. The room has an induction hob, but no pots; there's a refrigerator and a vegetable sink, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The balcony view is excellent. It's worth mentioning that the breakfast selection is extensive. The Chinese restaurant downstairs is also fantastic, with a wide variety of dishes, generous portions, and authentic flavors. Overall, this was a great choice, and it definitely deserves a 5-star rating.

The room was really quiet. It was the end of summer, and we rushed to Chongli. The room facilities were all very complete. Waking up in the morning, the scenery and air were both great. I just wonder if it's because the location is so remote that it's truly this peaceful. Buying food wasn't very convenient, and when I got hungry in the middle of the night, I didn't know where to find anything to eat.

I stayed there for one night because I had an exam. That night made me never want to stay again. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The service was good, but I was particularly dissatisfied with the facilities. There were constant noises in the room at night, and I couldn't figure out where they were coming from. It was also very cold at night. I tried to turn on the air conditioner, but it seemed to be controlled by the main unit. It was late, so I didn't contact the front desk, so I just made do. There was no hot water for the shower.
