The hotel is really nice and a perfect start to my Swiss solo. It is very suitable for friends who have high requirements for quality travel and have high requirements for hotels. The basic room type of the hotel is not very large, more than 30 square meters, but the hardware facilities inside are very good, and the service is also excellent. The next day I went to experience the gym and I happened to have a class. I spent some time there. The swimming pool, indoor and outdoor hot springs and saunas are all available. It is very suitable for vacation. Every dish in the breakfast is presented like Michelin hahaha. The restaurant manager even came to follow me. chat. The hotel also has its own golf course. Halfway up the mountain. A very happy stay experience, worth the rush!

The hotel is very close to Zurich Main Station, just a 3-minute walk away. The exterior is quite nice, and it even has a Swiss flag. Facilities: It's an older hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but they are well-maintained. The decor in the hallways is quite stylish. Hygiene: Overall, the cleanliness was pretty good. Environment: The train station is just a short walk across the street. There's a McDonald's nearby for breakfast and a Coop supermarket also very close. Service: There was a chocolate left on the bedside table. The front desk staff were quite welcoming and spoke excellent English when I checked out and stored my luggage.

Overall, my experience at the hotel was excellent. The single room I stayed in this time was the largest I've encountered in Europe so far – it was very spacious and comfortable. The location is super convenient, about a 12-minute walk to Zurich HBF train station. There are plenty of restaurants downstairs to choose from, making dining very easy. Plus, there's a Coop supermarket right below the hotel, so it's super handy to grab water and snacks and bring them straight back. In comparison, the water in the hotel's vending machine was indeed a bit pricey; buying from the supermarket was much more economical. The room itself was clean and tidy, making for a pleasant stay.

Very solid “3 star” hotel located in a very central location. Hotel Adler is “3 stars” but everything considered, as good as if not better than other 4 star hotels in European capitals. The location is in a cute location in old town by Central station and the University of Zurich. Very easy to get to and from airport from here and is a very nice location to walk around and explore Zurich from. Room itself was kind of small but was clean and comfortable. What’s great is also the restaurant Swiss Chuchi at the bottom of the hotel. It serves the breakfast if included (which was pretty good. Standard pastries/bread as well as cold cuts, eggs, fruits, etc.) and highly recommend visiting for actual restaurant meal service which includes the famous fondue.

I recently stayed at this hotel on November 16, 2024, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! After a long 13 hour flight from Hong Kong, I was grateful to be allowed an early check-in at 9 AM. This made a huge difference, allowing me to rest before starting my day. Mr. Filippo at the front desk was incredibly helpful. He not only assigned me a lovely room with a terrace but also provided excellent recommendations for nearby attractions, making my first day of a 13-day journey truly special. His courteous demeanor and willingness to assist were very much appreciated. The hotel's location is perfect, just a short walk to the city center and attractions, with everything you need right across the street. I highly recommend this hotel.

Getting to the hotel from the train station is super convenient with tram line 4; it stops right outside, runs frequently, and the journey only takes about ten minutes. Our triple room came with bunk beds and was quite compact, but perfectly functional. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A slight downside was not being able to boil water in the room, but there's a kettle available in the ground-floor restaurant for hot water. The hotel boasts an excellent location, just over 200 meters from Zurich Main Station. If you're planning a visit to ETH Zurich, simply turn left out of the hotel, cross the bridge, navigate to the Polybahn, and it's a quick 5-minute walk to catch the red funicular uphill. We booked for two nights. A nice perk: if you opt out of daily housekeeping service for your second day, you can redeem a complimentary drink from the downstairs bar, one per person. We stayed at the Swiss Chocolate Hotel by Fassbind from 5/21/25 - 5/24/25 (3 nights). We are a family of 3 adults and booked 1 room that has (3) twin beds. Our room was on the 6th floor. It was clean and surprisingly roomy. The only problem, there's no AC (Europe hotels for most part don't have air-conditioning). We opened the window and let cooler air to come in. I am sure it's a lot less comfortable in the summer due to the heat. The most enjoyable part were the staff at the front desk. Shout out to Yosie, Katia and Martina. These ladies were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The owner, Mr. Fassbind, should give these ladies a 8% raise. The price for the room was also ”reasonable” for Zürich (~ $400/night). Being able to have 3 people in one room is a bonus. Most hotels will show ”sold out” when trying to book 1 room for 3 people. I really had a very positive experience at the Swiss Chocolate Hotel in Zürich and can highly recommend it. I definitely would stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Great central location next to the railway station and close to Lake Geneva. The single room is on the small side and nothing special, but no complaints either. Some noise can be heard from the street - although the windows dampen the sounds somewhat, but since there's no air-con so you might want to keep the window open. Since I'm not a light sleeper so it didn't bother me much though. Overall a good experience.

The room was quite small, but it had bunk beds which was great for a family trip. The service was good; we could borrow a kettle from the front desk and there was a microwave to heat up food. There's a big shopping mall with a supermarket right across from the hotel, which was very convenient for groceries. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the city center, about a 30-minute bus ride.

This is my second time staying here. The last time was in 2018. The room is not big, but it has everything it should have. I booked two rooms and asked for connecting rooms, which were given to me. They are very good. There are two double beds, one is 2 meters and the other is 1.8 meters. It is spacious for three big and two small. It is cost-effective. Although it is not on the first line of the lake, it is a 2-minute walk from the lake. You can find free bus tickets at the hotel front desk. Although I didn't encounter anyone checking tickets on the bus barge for two or three days, it is still safer to get one just in case.

The location is pretty convenient and accessible. It was 1 minute walk away from the tram station and 2 stops away from Cornavin Station. Staffs were friendly and approachable at all times. Even though, I didn’t mention that it will be my birthday, they prepared a small amenity for me on my second day stay. Truly appreciate it! Hotel and the room is clean. Very pleasing to the eyes. Room came with universal socket which came in handy since my luggage was delayed and I do not have travel adapter with me. All in all, I had a really pleasant stay. Thank you N’vy!

The location was incredibly convenient. There's a car return point right next door, which made parking and check-in seamless. The room was spacious, the bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the bed was large and very comfortable. It's also very close to Geneva train station, so we could walk to catch our train in just ten minutes the next morning – a huge plus! The famous fountain and the old cathedral were also within easy walking distance.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. We arrived around 8 AM, and they kindly offered a room for us to rest in immediately. By noon, we were moved to our main room, which was conveniently located right next door. Every single staff member, from the concierge to the front desk and customer service, was incredibly friendly and always wore a smile – such exceptional service is quite rare in Europe! The rooms boasted new facilities and impeccable cleanliness, even surpassing hotels like the Four Seasons or Ritz-Carlton we've experienced in China. The location is absolutely prime – right on the lake, directly opposite the Four Seasons, yet it costs only a third of their price. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.
