The location is super convenient, right in the city center. It's about a 10-minute walk to Zurich HB (main train station), and there's a supermarket and the Limmat River nearby. It's also very close to the Swiss National Museum, Bahnhofstrasse, and the Old Town, making getting around incredibly easy. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a renovated room in the north wing, so the facilities felt quite new. The bedding was very comfortable, and for European standards, the room size was quite spacious.

An old luxury hotel with a very good location, right by the lake. It is very convenient to eat, drink and shop around. The room facilities are also well maintained. The hotel is located in the center of Zurich and is very artistic. It is recommended that everyone come to live in their room with murals, which is very retro. Good service, not many categories for breakfast (almost 5 star hotels in Switzerland are like this), hotel valet parking! !

The rooms were beautiful, and the hotel itself was lovely. Breakfast was delicious, and the place had a wonderful ambiance. It's a highly recommended hotel; while not cheap, it's absolutely worth the price. It's situated in the financial district, right next to China Construction Bank. Nearby, there's a supermarket, a tram stop, and plenty of Thai restaurants. My overall experience was excellent.

If you're looking for a truly exceptional experience in Zurich, look no further than the Hotel Alden. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We were hoping to visit the Lindt Chocolate Factory, only to find it completely sold out. The concierge team, however, worked their magic and managed to secure us tickets! That alone would have been enough to earn a glowing review. But they took it even further by upgrading us to a suite so enormous that we literally made a ”Cribs”-style video about it! We were absolutely blown away by the size and luxury. Beyond the impressive suite and the chocolate factory miracle, the hotel itself is stunning and perfectly located. But it's the dedication and attentiveness of the staff that truly sets this place apart. They anticipate your needs before you even express them. If you want a hotel that will exceed your expectations and create lasting memories, book your stay at the Hotel Alden Splugenschloss Leonardo Edition. You won't regret it!

The hotel is very close to Zurich Main Station, just a 3-minute walk away. The exterior is quite nice, and it even has a Swiss flag. Facilities: It's an older hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but they are well-maintained. The decor in the hallways is quite stylish. Hygiene: Overall, the cleanliness was pretty good. Environment: The train station is just a short walk across the street. There's a McDonald's nearby for breakfast and a Coop supermarket also very close. Service: There was a chocolate left on the bedside table. The front desk staff were quite welcoming and spoke excellent English when I checked out and stored my luggage.

Loved the room, very clean and compact, well decorated. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast which had warm options daily (scrambled eggs, mushrooms, potatoes, bacon, sausage - usually 3 of these available daily. My 2 issues: bath tub was badly scratched and stained and water was not able to flow down. Not well maintained compared to the rest of the room. The Adler is an excellent choice hotel in the heart of Old Zürich. As a global business traveller, I have stayed in over 100 hotels. This hotel offers the perfect location to see Zürich with a short 10 min walk from Zürich HB🚄 Train Station. The single room is sufficient, clean and well stocked with a kettle, coffee, tea, slippers and a gift cloth shopping bag. If you need extra complimentary beverages they are stocked in the fridge on the 1st floor stairwell. Checkin was fast, and you can pre-checkin on your email link. At the time of writing this, there was some city construction of the surrounding streets due to underground work. Hopefully this will be completed by early spring. Should your shoes get a little dirty, there is a shoe shine machine on the 2nd stairwell. The breakfast is a healthy Swiss style breakfast of fresh bread, croissants🥐, yogurts, fresh warm boiled eggs, cold cuts, smoked salmon❤️ , cheese, cereals, lots of fruits, milk, juice and an excellent coffee machine for the perfect creama coffee☕. I had the opportunity to have cheese fondue in their restaurant and let me tell you, it is fantastic! Thank you and see you again! Regards from 🇨🇦 B

The room was spacious with a kettle and good ventilation. The shower had excellent hot water pressure. For Switzerland, where food options can be limited, the breakfast was indeed very rich, offering hot items like fried eggs, pancakes, bacon, and sausages (most hotels only offer cold meals). However, when checking in, the front desk girl quoted a discounted breakfast price of 25 CHF. At checkout, a different male staff member tried to charge the original price of 32 CHF. I had to point out the agreed-upon price to get him to charge 25 CHF. It was a bit ridiculous; if I hadn't said anything, would he have just overcharged me? The hotel management has issues and should clearly display breakfast prices. Also, the hotel is located near an office area, so restaurants are closed on weekends.

Hotel is a 10 min walk from the bus station which connects to the train from the airport. The same bus station that takes to the central train station. It costs about 12CHF to 18CHF to or from train station. Hotel provides free rental bicycles which is very convenient. Facilities are OK. Room size is reasonable. Be aware that the uncovered glass of the shower may not suitable for all if privacy is important. The room we stayed were extremely hot. While it is only 14°-18° outside, the room temperature is definitely 30°+. It made hard to wear the proper clothing to fit the temperature for the day. No aircon, the only way to cool the room down is to open the side window which leaves no wall from the room to outside of the building. Yes, the only barrier are a couple of metal bars between the desk against the window to outside the building from our ninth floor room. Plus the window can closed by itself, you need to reopen it multiple times if you want the cooler air for a little longer. It’s hard for a hot night sleep. Breakfast is good and has good variety of the food and drinks. It costs 24CHF p.p. if it is pre-ordered. If stays in the same room, no, it is not recommended to stay here. It may have other rooms that are not as hot as the one we stayed.

In general, the hotel offers a balance between fee, location, and service. The room is clean, the location is suitable for walking to all the sightseeing places in Zurich. However, it is noteworthy that the bathroom and the toilet are not inside the room, you must go to separate places. This is not mentioned when I place the booking, or I didn’t pay attention to this detail. I travelled during the not-busy season so it is OK, most of the time when I wanted to use the bathroom, it was available. However, during the travel seasons, you should be aware.

Room was very small. Tables or storage spaces are very limited. Toilet seat was WAY too high. They put a note saying that ”it's an experience of the Swiss Mountain”, which kind of made the experience worse. Same goes with the shower, the shower is in the room, so you will need to get changed in the room. If you're a couple, it's probably fine, but if you're traveling with a friend, I think it'll be very awkward. Again they had a note in the shower, saying that ”act like this is a chance to give your friend a private concert in the shower”, that felt a bit ironic... Changing the sheets is only available after 3 days. No kettles in the hotel room. There was a hair dryer, the shower gels are 3-in-1. Service was good from the hotel staff and they were very polite and helpful as our key card stopped working after the cleaners cleaned our room in one of the days, and we had to fix that. The location is a bit far, given that you need to take the tram or the train to Zurich HB but that's expected for an ibis budget

This kind of old-fashioned absolute landscape hotel is actually not an ideal place to enjoy the services of a five-star hotel. Because the hotel's service attitude varies from person to person, it feels very uncomfortable and shows their unprofessionalism and lack of empathy for earthlings, which is a pity! The so-called civilization and quality reveal many narrow local cultures in them. This is very out of line with Switzerland - the seat of the United Nations! Not neutral either!

The Four Seasons Hotel, which is located on the shore of Lake Geneva and is expensive for three nights, except for the small size of the room, the decoration has not been able to keep up. But the service is as outstanding as other Four Seasons hotels, from doormen, security guards to concierge services, front desk reception...all of them are hospitable and humble. The money is for service, location, and brand confidence. If this is not a concern... then it can be said that the rooms in this hotel are not worth living in. Regular rooms, superior rooms, and deluxe rooms are really too small, or the decoration is too old.

I brought my five-year-old child to Geneva for the weekend. I chose this hotel next to Lake Geneva. There are rows of hotels along the lake. The location of the hotel is very good. You can take a walk when you go out. Let me talk about the hotel experience. It is very good. The service starts from the moment you enter because it has been upgraded. Therefore, you need to wait ten minutes in the lobby for a room. During these ten minutes, the hotel served champagne, coffee, orange juice, and chocolate. Although the hotel is small, it is exquisite and clean. I had dinner in the windows restaurant on the first floor in the evening and breakfast in the same restaurant the next day. You can order from the menu. There are not many existing restaurants. You need to order extra. Mainly in the buffet. There is no extra charge. The environment is very good. I recently spent 8 nights at the InterContinental Genève. Overall, my stay was comfortable, and there were several aspects worth mentioning. The room was quite spacious—especially for a solo traveler like me—which made it easy to settle in and relax during a longer stay. However, the décor felt a bit outdated, and there were areas with noticeable dust, which affected the overall impression of cleanliness. Housekeeping visited the room every day, which I appreciated, but despite the daily service, the room still wasn’t as clean as I would expect from a hotel of this standard—particularly for an 8-night stay. Most of the front desk staff were wonderful. They were polite, attentive, and professional, and their warm service truly enhanced the experience. Unfortunately, there was one exception: a female staff member wearing thick black glasses. Her tone and attitude were not very pleasant, and her facial expressions made the interaction feel uncomfortable, which contrasted sharply with the excellent service from the rest of the team. In summary, while the spacious room—perfect for someone staying alone—and the generally outstanding service were definite positives, the outdated décor, dust, and inconsistent staff attitude are areas that could be improved. My 8-night stay was overall decent, but there is room for improvement to meet the level of quality expected from a hotel in this category.

I stayed at Hotel Suisse Geneva during my time in Geneva, and the standout feature of this hotel is its location. It is literally right across the road from the main train station, which makes it incredibly convenient whether you’re arriving by rail, heading to the airport, or planning day trips. Being so close to the station also means excellent public transport connections, but what I found even more useful is that most of Geneva’s main sights are within easy walking distance. You can comfortably reach the lake, the Old Town, shops, and restaurants without needing to rely on transport, which makes exploring the city simple and efficient. The hotel itself is comfortable and practical, with clean rooms and everything you need for a short city stay. It’s not overly luxurious, but it’s well maintained and does the job perfectly if you’re planning to spend most of your time out exploring Geneva. Because of its central location, it’s a great choice for both short stays and stopovers. It also works particularly well if you have an early train or a tight schedule, as you don’t need to factor in extra travel time to get to the station. I would highly recommend Hotel Suisse Geneva for anyone prioritising convenience and location. If you want to be right in the centre of everything with excellent transport links, it’s a very practical and reliable choice.

Stayed in the executive family room with two double beds. We managed to fit three suitcases open, though the space was a bit tight. For bathing, the sink, bathtub, and shower were in one room, and the toilet in another, which was great as it didn't interfere with each other's use. The hotel facilities are quite new, and the air conditioning is good. It even has USB charging ports, which are rare in Europe – this was the only hotel out of my two-week trip across Europe that had them. The hygiene was acceptable. Free luggage storage is available.

I stayed for 3 nights in June, during an unusually hot spell. The room had air conditioning, and it worked well if you tilted the bathroom door towards the room. Not having a fridge in the room was a bit of a hassle, but I could get free ice from the front desk. The location was super convenient, almost directly connected to Geneva Central Station. My room unfortunately faced the recycling collection point, so the view wasn't great, but it was kept clean so it didn't bother me too much. The breakfast restaurant on the 8th floor seems to only be open for breakfast and offers only a continental spread. I was a little disappointed that there were no vegetables.

Couldn't believe how close it was to the train station, literally right outside the door – super convenient! The service was great too; they even gave us a free day pass, which made getting to the airport the next day really easy. There's a small balcony with a view of the big fountain. It's just two bus stops from Lake Geneva. Besides the slightly high price, everything else was perfect.

I stayed at this hotel for a few days in Geneva. It's quite convenient, about a 15-minute walk from the train station. Bus number 8 stops right outside, taking you to places like the Palais des Nations and the Broken Chair. There's also a supermarket nearby. Overall, it was a good stay.

The hotel is very close to the airport and offers a convenient shuttle service. Getting to the city center is also easy, and they even provide a free transport card, making it perfect for a layover 👍. The well-equipped gym was a big plus for me, I really enjoyed it. However, there were a couple of minor issues: the rooms in the annex building are a bit small; fitting a large suitcase can be a tight squeeze. This time, the bathroom power outlet was broken, and I initially thought the hairdryer was faulty 😂. Also, the main building, including the pool, is currently under renovation, and the front desk mentioned it's expected to be completed by September.

Weak point: Our room wasn't the one shown on the website. The room was dated, small, and lacked any refinement. There was a stain on the duvet. Breakfast was very average; the hot and cold options were mostly processed, tasteless products. Strong point: Ideal location for getting to the lake or the city center via metro line 2. The staff are lovely. There's plenty of underground parking around the hotel.

The location is fantastic, directly opposite the train station. You can just use the underpass to cross the road. The hotel room isn't huge, but the layout is well-designed, so it doesn't feel cramped. It's clean and hygienic. There's a self-service water dispenser in the hotel, and while bottled water is provided in the room, you can refill it yourself. If you bring your own cup, you'll have no problem staying hydrated for your next day's excursions. There's also a coffee machine. The hotel staff were very enthusiastic, explaining all the facilities and making communication a breeze. For Switzerland, this hotel offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it. It's convenient for sightseeing, with a bus stop right across the road. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The Chinese restaurant to the left of the hotel entrance serves delicious food that tastes almost identical to what you'd find in China. The owner, who is also the chef, doesn't cook much anymore due to age, but when we went back the next day, he cooked for us personally, and it was exceptionally good, prepared exactly to our specifications.

Beautiful, with a typical European style, not super modern, but very clean. The front desk staff were very friendly. Valet parking is available for 45 CHF per day. Breakfast is a Western-style meal with ham, salad, yogurt, etc. It's a semi-buffet, with some items needing to be ordered. The location is excellent, right in the city center, and within walking distance to everything. Facilities: It's an old hotel, not new, but clean. Cleanliness: Very clean, though you might notice the woody smell of an old building. Service: The service was great.

Polite staff, and it's right by the train station. It's about a 15-minute walk to the lake. There are shops conveniently located inside the station itself. The room felt a bit cramped because of a strange wooden structure near the window; it would have been better without it. Also, I was bothered by a constant ticking sound, like a clock or something, coming from the wall or bed, and I couldn't figure out what it was. Overall, it was acceptable.

I've been in Europe for half a month, and this is truly the best hotel experience I've had so far. Yesterday, when I was changing hotels, I arrived a bit early, around 11 AM, and they had a room available and let me check in early. That night, I got a fever due to my personal constitution. The next day, the hotel agreed to a 2-hour late check-out. After checking out, I was resting in the lobby, and an auntie who was cleaning saw I wasn't feeling well. She pushed two sofas together so I could lie down and rest, and I slowly started to feel better. Being sick and uncomfortable abroad is truly a fear.
