The hotel is really nice and a perfect start to my Swiss solo. It is very suitable for friends who have high requirements for quality travel and have high requirements for hotels. The basic room type of the hotel is not very large, more than 30 square meters, but the hardware facilities inside are very good, and the service is also excellent. The next day I went to experience the gym and I happened to have a class. I spent some time there. The swimming pool, indoor and outdoor hot springs and saunas are all available. It is very suitable for vacation. Every dish in the breakfast is presented like Michelin hahaha. The restaurant manager even came to follow me. chat. The hotel also has its own golf course. The room is clean but it’s cramped, hard to move fast. The front desk staff in the morning particularly the guy is rude. We were a bit early for breakfast because they changed their time from 6:30 to 7am which we aligned for our day activity. When i asked if we can just sit inside while waiting for a few minutes before 7am, he answered me rudely saying “as i said..”, but when we came inside at 7:01am, there were already people eating there, 2 pairs i saw. This is rude because we were pressed for time as we have to catch up the tour bus and we paid for the breakfast knowing the time is 6:30am but they changed it the night before and they let other people in while we just requested to be seated inside while waiting for 7am. Most of their staff are rude. Only the guy at the breakfast checkin is nice.FromTHB 5,157

The room is great, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. BUT: upon check-in, I was asked to leave MY CREDIT CARD on file for the duration of my stay! This was despite the room already being paid for and charged to my credit card. Of course, I indignantly refused. Then I was asked to put down a 100€ deposit, which I equally firmly rejected (I didn't even have any Euros on me anyway... it was a spur-of-the-moment idea to be in Zurich!). The justification given was that I might raid the minibar without paying, but it was empty anyway. Mercifully, I was then allowed to check into my room without leaving any deposit.FromTHB 9,912

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Swiss National Museum, and within walking distance of ETH Zurich, making it convenient to get anywhere. We arrived in Zurich from Interlaken earlier than scheduled, and the front desk kindly arranged a room for us before the official check-in time, which we greatly appreciated. The bar on the ground floor is very popular, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of dried fruits. There was a bottle of drinking water in the room, but we had to contact customer service to get slippers. Unfortunately, outside our window was a construction site with a building under construction, causing a lot of noise.FromTHB 9,019

The Adler is an excellent choice hotel in the heart of Old Zürich. As a global business traveller, I have stayed in over 100 hotels. This hotel offers the perfect location to see Zürich with a short 10 min walk from Zürich HB🚄 Train Station. The single room is sufficient, clean and well stocked with a kettle, coffee, tea, slippers and a gift cloth shopping bag. If you need extra complimentary beverages they are stocked in the fridge on the 1st floor stairwell. Checkin was fast, and you can pre-checkin on your email link. At the time of writing this, there was some city construction of the surrounding streets due to underground work. Hopefully this will be completed by early spring. Should your shoes get a little dirty, there is a shoe shine machine on the 2nd stairwell. The breakfast is a healthy Swiss style breakfast of fresh bread, croissants🥐, yogurts, fresh warm boiled eggs, cold cuts, smoked salmon❤️ , cheese, cereals, lots of fruits, milk, juice and an excellent coffee machine for the perfect creama coffee☕.
I had the opportunity to have cheese fondue in their restaurant and let me tell you, it is fantastic! Thank you and see you again! Regards from 🇨🇦 BFromTHB 6,075

Hotel is a 10 min walk from the bus station which connects to the train from the airport. The same bus station that takes to the central train station. It costs about 12CHF to 18CHF to or from train station. Hotel provides free rental bicycles which is very convenient. Facilities are OK. Room size is reasonable.
Be aware that the uncovered glass of the shower may not suitable for all if privacy is important. The room we stayed were extremely hot. While it is only 14°-18° outside, the room temperature is definitely 30°+. It made hard to wear the proper clothing to fit the temperature for the day. No aircon, the only way to cool the room down is to open the side window which leaves no wall from the room to outside of the building. Yes, the only barrier are a couple of metal bars between the desk against the window to outside the building from our ninth floor room. Plus the window can closed by itself, you need to reopen it multiple times if you want the cooler air for a little longer. It’s hard for a hot night sleep.
Breakfast is good and has good variety of the food and drinks. It costs 24CHF p.p. if it is pre-ordered.
If stays in the same room, no, it is not recommended to stay here. It may have other rooms that are not as hot as the one we stayed.FromTHB 4,274

Hotel Glockenhof Zurich offers Switzerland charm and modern comfort, making it one of the top choice for leisure and business trip on visiting Zurich. Situated in the heart of the Zurich city, it provides good access to Zurich's main attractions, shopping areas, and near to the Zurich Main Station transportation.
The attentive staffs greeted with warm hospitality, and are always willing to assist with any requests.
The hotel's elegant decorated rooms provide a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city.
This hotel places emphasis on healthy sleep, hence they have worked with a Swiss family company, Roviva for the bedding (there’s a small card information on the benefits of roviva bed provided). The room also comes with a pair of arm chairs and coffee table and amenities, including free Wi-Fi, Nespresso machine and movable flat screen TV. Lastly they have also provided an umbrella and grocery tote bag in case you need it which was very thoughtful on guests needs.
The breakfast buffet comes after booking the room (optional), offering a wide selection of fresh fruits and delicious hams, bread and yogurt options to start the day.

Service: This is where the hotel truly shines. All the staff were incredibly helpful, professional, and thoughtful. They provided detailed explanations and actively offered assistance. I especially appreciated encountering two Chinese-speaking staff members who not only wished me a Happy New Year but also engaged with me in Chinese, making me feel right at home.
Environment: The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the main train station and all the attractions in the Old Town, all within walking distance. The hotel design is appealing, and the little calf statue at the entrance is adorable.
Facilities: The room was spacious, especially the bathroom. However, the pillows weren't very comfortable and might not be ideal for people with neck problems.
Cleanliness: Generally good, but the details left something to be desired. There was a faint, persistent odor from the refrigerator in the room, even though it was empty, suggesting that ventilation needs improvement. Also, one of the towels had noticeable orange-red stains.FromTHB 6,718

Room was very small. Tables or storage spaces are very limited. Toilet seat was WAY too high. They put a note saying that ”it's an experience of the Swiss Mountain”, which kind of made the experience worse. Same goes with the shower, the shower is in the room, so you will need to get changed in the room. If you're a couple, it's probably fine, but if you're traveling with a friend, I think it'll be very awkward. Again they had a note in the shower, saying that ”act like this is a chance to give your friend a private concert in the shower”, that felt a bit ironic...
Changing the sheets is only available after 3 days. No kettles in the hotel room. There was a hair dryer, the shower gels are 3-in-1.
Service was good from the hotel staff and they were very polite and helpful as our key card stopped working after the cleaners cleaned our room in one of the days, and we had to fix that. The location is a bit far, given that you need to take the tram or the train to Zurich HB but that's expected for an ibis budgetFromTHB 4,078

This kind of old-fashioned absolute landscape hotel is actually not an ideal place to enjoy the services of a five-star hotel. Because the hotel's service attitude varies from person to person, it feels very uncomfortable and shows their unprofessionalism and lack of empathy for earthlings, which is a pity! The Four Seasons Hotel, which is located on the shore of Lake Geneva and is expensive for three nights, except for the small size of the room, the decoration has not been able to keep up. But the service is as outstanding as other Four Seasons hotels, from doormen, security guards to concierge services, front desk reception...all of them are hospitable and humble. The money is for service, location, and brand confidence. If this is not a concern... then it can be said that the rooms in this hotel are not worth living in. I brought my five-year-old child to Geneva for the weekend. I chose this hotel next to Lake Geneva. There are rows of hotels along the lake. The location of the hotel is very good. You can take a walk when you go out. Let me talk about the hotel experience. It is very good. The service starts from the moment you enter because it has been upgraded. Therefore, you need to wait ten minutes in the lobby for a room. During these ten minutes, the hotel served champagne, coffee, orange juice, and chocolate. Although the hotel is small, it is exquisite and clean. I had dinner in the windows restaurant on the first floor in the evening and breakfast in the same restaurant the next day. I stayed at Hotel Suisse Geneva during my time in Geneva, and the standout feature of this hotel is its location. It is literally right across the road from the main train station, which makes it incredibly convenient whether you’re arriving by rail, heading to the airport, or planning day trips.
Being so close to the station also means excellent public transport connections, but what I found even more useful is that most of Geneva’s main sights are within easy walking distance. You can comfortably reach the lake, the Old Town, shops, and restaurants without needing to rely on transport, which makes exploring the city simple and efficient.
The hotel itself is comfortable and practical, with clean rooms and everything you need for a short city stay. It’s not overly luxurious, but it’s well maintained and does the job perfectly if you’re planning to spend most of your time out exploring Geneva.
Because of its central location, it’s a great choice for both short stays and stopovers. It also works particularly well if you have an early train or a tight schedule, as you don’t need to factor in extra travel time to get to the station.
I would highly recommend Hotel Suisse Geneva for anyone prioritising convenience and location. If you want to be right in the centre of everything with excellent transport links, it’s a very practical and reliable choice.FromTHB 7,807

Super convenient location, just a five-minute walk to both the train station and the lake – though Geneva isn't a huge city to begin with! 😂 The front desk service was excellent, and the room was spacious and very comfortable. I extended my stay for several nights and would definitely consider this hotel again if I'm back in town! Next time, I'll try the breakfast option.FromTHB 10,015

Very good location, close to Train station and bus interchange (can take bus to Chamonix or some other destinations), and quite some restaurants surrounding, so easy for dinning.
Very friendly front desk staff, provide us city map and introduce how to go to the landmark, informed us can get free boat ticket at Geniva Lake with our booking and sent to us thru email. Room is clean.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we did not find a receptionist, then he left one of the rooms and was apparently eating. At midnight around 12:30 am the man or woman who is staying above the room was knocking hard on the floor and then someone who we believe was the same man came down to knock on the door violently, the television was with a regular volume, which means that the rooms do not have sufficient noise insulation. The colors of the walls are super dark. The experience was not good.FromTHB 9,868

We came before check-in and i asked if we can check-in already if there are available rooms and she said no. But while we were there are the lobby, she checked-in some groups and 2 gentlemen who came after us. I indicated in my booking our early check-in request but she didnt allow us. Further, she did not send the city pass prior check-in unlike in the hotel in montreux who sent us the montreux riviera cards days ahead. When i followed-up, she said the city will send it. How are we suppose to get it from the city. When i told my family about it, thats the only time she approached us and said that she will email it.FromTHB 5,628

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the old town, the old town and the museum. You can ask the hotel for a transportation card, and you can take the bus for free, which is very close to various places. It is not new, but it is generally clean and tidy. The bathroom is very clean, and the toiletries are Clarins. The room facilities are really simple, just a coffee machine and cups, and the refrigerator is still not turned on and is empty. The chocolate and candy sent by the hotel are not bad.

Hotel was immaculately clean and smelt lovely, room was perfect, location was great, right in the heart of Geneva with easy access to train stations/bus stations and activity pick up points, nice chocolate shop underneath the hotel, with a McDonald’s and a wine and cheese restaurant.
Although the breakfast buffet was all cold food baring boiled eggs, however choice was great, staff very attentive.
Overall would recommend this hotel to anyone, cheap enough for Geneva and couldn’t fault it personally.FromTHB 10,800

This is my second time staying here. The last time was in 2018. The room is not big, but it has everything it should have. I booked two rooms and asked for connecting rooms, which were given to me. They are very good. There are two double beds, one is 2 meters and the other is 1.8 meters. It is spacious for three big and two small. It is cost-effective. Although it is not on the first line of the lake, it is a 2-minute walk from the lake. You can find free bus tickets at the hotel front desk. Although I didn't encounter anyone checking tickets on the bus barge for two or three days, it is still safer to get one just in case.FromTHB 11,620

The location is pretty convenient and accessible. It was 1 minute walk away from the tram station and 2 stops away from Cornavin Station.
Staffs were friendly and approachable at all times. Even though, I didn’t mention that it will be my birthday, they prepared a small amenity for me on my second day stay. Truly appreciate it!
Hotel and the room is clean. Very pleasing to the eyes.
