The hotel is great, just opposite the Zurich train station. This time I traveled with my mother and daughter. According to the reservation, they took the initiative to add a bed for my 11-year-old daughter. Fruits were free, and there were free chocolates. But I didn't notice that the canned chocolate beans in the minibar were not free, so I ate them anyway. So, it's okay. The service is very good and considerate. It's just a little expensive.

The hotel is really nice and a perfect start to my Swiss solo. It is very suitable for friends who have high requirements for quality travel and have high requirements for hotels. The basic room type of the hotel is not very large, more than 30 square meters, but the hardware facilities inside are very good, and the service is also excellent. The next day I went to experience the gym and I happened to have a class. I spent some time there. The swimming pool, indoor and outdoor hot springs and saunas are all available. It is very suitable for vacation. Every dish in the breakfast is presented like Michelin hahaha. The restaurant manager even came to follow me. chat. The hotel also has its own golf course. The location was fantastic, perfect for us as we only had a short layover for a half-day trip. It was super convenient to get to the hotel from the train station in the evening, just a few minutes' walk. Perhaps because it was so popular and fully booked that day, they mixed up our twin room with a king-sized one. Since there were no other rooms available to switch to, as compensation, they allowed us to take whatever food and drinks we wanted from the self-service area in the lobby for free. We hadn't had dinner yet that day, so we picked out a few items. Prices in Zurich are really steep, so it was a relief that this haul didn't cost us anything – definitely a testament to their thoughtful service! The breakfast the next day was also very generous!

The room is clean but it’s cramped, hard to move fast. The front desk staff in the morning particularly the guy is rude. We were a bit early for breakfast because they changed their time from 6:30 to 7am which we aligned for our day activity. When i asked if we can just sit inside while waiting for a few minutes before 7am, he answered me rudely saying “as i said..”, but when we came inside at 7:01am, there were already people eating there, 2 pairs i saw. This is rude because we were pressed for time as we have to catch up the tour bus and we paid for the breakfast knowing the time is 6:30am but they changed it the night before and they let other people in while we just requested to be seated inside while waiting for 7am. Most of their staff are rude. Only the guy at the breakfast checkin is nice.

The hotel is very close to Zurich Main Station, just a 3-minute walk away. The exterior is quite nice, and it even has a Swiss flag. Facilities: It's an older hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but they are well-maintained. The decor in the hallways is quite stylish. Hygiene: Overall, the cleanliness was pretty good. Environment: The train station is just a short walk across the street. There's a McDonald's nearby for breakfast and a Coop supermarket also very close. Service: There was a chocolate left on the bedside table. The front desk staff were quite welcoming and spoke excellent English when I checked out and stored my luggage.

The room was small, but perfectly adequate; without luggage, I even found it spacious. There was a fridge. The biggest issue was the noise around the hotel. We loved our stay at the hotel wellenberg during our recent trip to Zurich, it was perfectly situated and a lovely spacious family room. The bathroom could use an update, which I’m sure is in the works, as one that I spotted by the elevator looked stunning! Our kids especially loved the family tv/gaming room and special mention must be made of the lovely front desk staff and Ruth at breakfast who was absolutely charming. The hotel is situated on the edge of town, just to the left behind the train station. It's a convenient 10-15 minute walk from both the train station and the long-distance bus terminal, which is reasonable given the town's small size. The hotel itself is very quiet and spotlessly clean. I opted for the cheapest room, an attic room, but surprisingly, it didn't feel cramped or oppressive at all. Just a heads-up though: extending your stay might come with a price increase!

The Adler is an excellent choice hotel in the heart of Old Zürich. As a global business traveller, I have stayed in over 100 hotels. This hotel offers the perfect location to see Zürich with a short 10 min walk from Zürich HB🚄 Train Station. The single room is sufficient, clean and well stocked with a kettle, coffee, tea, slippers and a gift cloth shopping bag. If you need extra complimentary beverages they are stocked in the fridge on the 1st floor stairwell. Checkin was fast, and you can pre-checkin on your email link. At the time of writing this, there was some city construction of the surrounding streets due to underground work. Hopefully this will be completed by early spring. Should your shoes get a little dirty, there is a shoe shine machine on the 2nd stairwell. The breakfast is a healthy Swiss style breakfast of fresh bread, croissants🥐, yogurts, fresh warm boiled eggs, cold cuts, smoked salmon❤️ , cheese, cereals, lots of fruits, milk, juice and an excellent coffee machine for the perfect creama coffee☕. I had the opportunity to have cheese fondue in their restaurant and let me tell you, it is fantastic! Thank you and see you again! Regards from 🇨🇦 B

Hotel is a 10 min walk from the bus station which connects to the train from the airport. The same bus station that takes to the central train station. It costs about 12CHF to 18CHF to or from train station. Hotel provides free rental bicycles which is very convenient. Facilities are OK. Room size is reasonable. Be aware that the uncovered glass of the shower may not suitable for all if privacy is important. The room we stayed were extremely hot. While it is only 14°-18° outside, the room temperature is definitely 30°+. It made hard to wear the proper clothing to fit the temperature for the day. No aircon, the only way to cool the room down is to open the side window which leaves no wall from the room to outside of the building. Yes, the only barrier are a couple of metal bars between the desk against the window to outside the building from our ninth floor room. Plus the window can closed by itself, you need to reopen it multiple times if you want the cooler air for a little longer. It’s hard for a hot night sleep. Breakfast is good and has good variety of the food and drinks. It costs 24CHF p.p. if it is pre-ordered. If stays in the same room, no, it is not recommended to stay here. It may have other rooms that are not as hot as the one we stayed.

A very good stay experience. When I first checked in, I was not amazed, and even wanted to complain about the small bed in the triple room. It was a bit casual, right? But after actually checking in, I found that the mattress was very comfortable, the quilt was also very comfortable, and there was a bed-making service at night. Although the bathroom has a glass door, it was a little awkward when taking a shower, but fortunately it was a family trip, so it was okay. Here comes the point: I had to catch an early train on the day of check-out, so I didn’t have time to eat breakfast. I went to the front desk to ask if I could pack my breakfast? The front desk professionally took out a service sheet, recorded the room number and the number and content of the packed breakfast, and agreed on the time to pick up the meal in the morning! When I went to pick up the meal in the morning, it was already packed, great 👍🏻! The location of the hotel is very convenient, the train station and various attractions are within walking distance, suitable for Zurich Citywalk.

The breakfast is good quality and has scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, roesti, cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, muesli and cereals, breads, pastries, fruits, etc. Gluten free bread and muesli are available, as are vegan milk and yogurt. Getting to the hotel from the train station is super convenient with tram line 4; it stops right outside, runs frequently, and the journey only takes about ten minutes. Our triple room came with bunk beds and was quite compact, but perfectly functional. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A slight downside was not being able to boil water in the room, but there's a kettle available in the ground-floor restaurant for hot water. It costs 7CHF to reach Hotel Krone Unterstrass from Zürich airport. Take the train from the airport to the Zürich Oerlikon station then switch to tram#11 and alight at ‘Kronenstrasse’ stop. Hotel is just next to the tram stop. The neighbourhood is very quiet once dusk falls. You’ll soon discover that 3 stops more of tram#11 and you’ll be at the Zürich main station (Zürich HB) which is the city centre. The room has manual-controlled ac compressor (thank god) even if it’s fairly cool without it (~14 deg C outside at end-Sep). There’s no mini bar fridge and they provide a petite metal kettle. The whole point of my review is to commend Laura Mannino (spelling), the first point of contact when you visit the daily breakfast buffet. With her ready smile & winning demeanour, she’s an asset to every hospitality business. My 5th floor room has a newish feel to it & I really have no complaints. If you prefer to stay at the edge of the city centre and not pay an arm/limb for those $400~500 a night room at the city centre, Hotel Krone Unterstrass is ideal. Would I come back? Yes!

We made a reservation on the day we arrived in Geneva. At that time, the Ritz-Carlton next to us had prices increased to 9,000, the Four Seasons was 12,000, and the Mandarin Oriental was also 12,000. I didn’t want to meet an acquaintance, so I booked this hotel for 6,400 for one night. The location is right on the edge of Lake Geneva. It is on the same road as the first three hotels, but this one is slightly on the edge. From the view taken from the small balcony of the half-lake view room in the picture below, you can tell at a glance that it is a bit close to the pier⛵️, but at the end is a city park. I ran all the way to take pictures of the morning scenery. Quite comfortable. The front desk clerk was very patient and enthusiastic, and his attitude was really good. Because the room was already full that day, I still changed to a higher room😊. Of course, I am also very lady, and I always smiled when communicating, so my attitude was really good. It's mutual. When I checked in, the front desk also introduced that there is a Chinese restaurant on the negative floor of the hotel. I didn't have time to try it because there was also Hongyun Restaurant recommended by a friend. It has a good environment and reasonable prices, so I went to eat there first. Upon arriving at the hotel, we did not find a receptionist, then he left one of the rooms and was apparently eating. At midnight around 12:30 am the man or woman who is staying above the room was knocking hard on the floor and then someone who we believe was the same man came down to knock on the door violently, the television was with a regular volume, which means that the rooms do not have sufficient noise insulation. The colors of the walls are super dark. The experience was not good.

Super great location, right next to the train station and it’s the centre of Geneva. Helpful staff and the cafe there is super nice. The only thing is I have already requested a room facing inward but still the noise from the traffic is loud since early morning.

The room is clean and service of staff is very good. Food for breakfast is fresh but limited choice of hot dishes, and if you stay in this hotel for more than 3 days, you may get bored with the repeated food. Suggest can plan to have breakfast in other place if possible. The location is ok, around 30 mins walk to the Lake and 15 mins walk to the Broken Chair.

We booked a delux king bedroom with a sofa bed but didn’t receive the room we originally booked. The hairdryer didn’t work. So I had to call for a new one that they delivered an hour later. The hotells spa was really great as it’s free access to the pool, sauna , steam room and jacuzzi. (No hotspring available as said on the website). Good hotell shuffle bus service to the airport! Would absolutely stay again!

It's better than expected. It's an old-fashioned Swiss hotel. Although it's not the most luxurious hotel, a young boy with a dark complexion at the front desk is very good. He is sincere and courteous, and the price/performance ratio is not bad. Not the most luxurious hotel, the best location, but not too far from the old town and the fountain, it's not bad. btw, the brunch experience in the hotel restaurant is excellent!

Hotel Bernina was very clean, great location right opposite the train station with many trams and buses to connect to other parts of the city. Also within walking distance to the lake and old town, with Geneva being a very walkable city. Check in was very fast and efficient, and the hotel itself was quiet. Room size is adequate and reasonable for a major city. Not many amenities in the hotel but this is fine as there's many things to do in Geneva

Hotel was immaculately clean and smelt lovely, room was perfect, location was great, right in the heart of Geneva with easy access to train stations/bus stations and activity pick up points, nice chocolate shop underneath the hotel, with a McDonald’s and a wine and cheese restaurant. Although the breakfast buffet was all cold food baring boiled eggs, however choice was great, staff very attentive. Overall would recommend this hotel to anyone, cheap enough for Geneva and couldn’t fault it personally.

It's a very good hotel that deserves to be recommended. The receptionist who received us is a little girl with an Asian face. She can speak Mandarin and is very polite. She also upgraded our room. We can use the e-mail key to press the elevator to open the door, which is very convenient. It is just a few minutes away from the train station on a straight road. There are also many supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Don’t miss the Spanish restaurant in the hotel. It tastes very good, but remember to book a table in advance!

Great central location next to the railway station and close to Lake Geneva. The single room is on the small side and nothing special, but no complaints either. Some noise can be heard from the street - although the windows dampen the sounds somewhat, but since there's no air-con so you might want to keep the window open. Since I'm not a light sleeper so it didn't bother me much though. Overall a good experience.

This is my second time staying here. The last time was in 2018. The room is not big, but it has everything it should have. I booked two rooms and asked for connecting rooms, which were given to me. They are very good. There are two double beds, one is 2 meters and the other is 1.8 meters. It is spacious for three big and two small. It is cost-effective. Although it is not on the first line of the lake, it is a 2-minute walk from the lake. You can find free bus tickets at the hotel front desk. Although I didn't encounter anyone checking tickets on the bus barge for two or three days, it is still safer to get one just in case.
