Honestly, this hotel deserves no more than a 3-star rating. And the 3-star is only for the location. All the other things deserve 1-star. The only positives are its location and the lobby. Everything else was disappointing. The furniture is very old and of poor quality, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the bathroom had a constant unpleasant smell. The room had almost no soundproofing. Even though we were staying on the 11th floor, we could clearly hear traffic from the street, passing cars, and children playing in the pool as if the window were open. The room door was also made of very poor-quality wood, so every time someone walked through the hallway, we could hear their footsteps, doors slamming, and loud banging noises. There was never a moment of peace and quiet—between the traffic, the noise from other guests due to the lack of soundproofing, constant door slamming, and even sounds coming from the pipes inside the walls. I swear I can hear the mans cough and talking in the next room.. We also asked the hotel if they could store just one suitcase for us while we traveled to Phuket and returned to Bangkok. They refused, saying they would only do so if we had another reservation with them. I have stayed at lower-rated hotels that happily stored our luggage even though we were not coming back, so this was disappointing. We also asked if they could extend our checkout by just two hours since our flight was at 2:00 PM, but they refused without offering any flexibility. Overall, I would never stay at this hotel again, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

First off, as a tourist, I had a fantastic time in Bangkok, and secondly, the hotel was excellent. Location: Right in the city center, super convenient for any mode of transport. Just two steps left out of the hotel and there's a 7-Eleven. Service: Smiling service throughout, incredibly thoughtful, and great attention to detail. Ambiance: The lobby is like a museum with many of the owner's collections. The guest rooms are totally old school. Facilities: I didn't get breakfast here, so I can't comment on it – I'm the type who can't wake up on time for breakfast, haha. The hotel's spa is great, very relaxing and stress-relieving. I didn't use the pool, but it's right next to the spa and looked pretty decent. Also, the room attendants folded some super cute animal towels for us. Returning the deposit was very efficient; after a couple of questions, they processed it since we hadn't touched the minibar. No need to stand around waiting for them to check the room, which was a huge plus compared to Pattaya where I had to wait quite a while during checkout. They also offer free luggage storage until evening after checkout. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely choose this place again next time.

Talk about a 'Lost in Thailand' real-life scenario! My flight was delayed, so I didn't get to the hotel until after 1 AM. All I wanted was to shower and sleep, but first, my key card wouldn't work, and I couldn't get the elevator to go up. A staff member used her master key to take me to the room. Once we got there, it was pitch black. She hadn't brought a key card to activate the power. I tried to explain in English, but she must not have understood. So, she went back down to get a key card, leaving my child and me in a dark, hot, and exhausting room. Finally, with the power on, I thought I could shower and sleep. But then I noticed the 'disposable' slippers looked like they'd been used for a month – they were pilled and even had hair inside. On top of that, the lighting was strange; the room's decor was very dark. The bed was incredibly hard, and the curtains didn't close properly, letting light in. The bed faced east, which felt odd. The air conditioning was deafeningly loud, like the outdoor unit was inside the room. Even on the lowest setting, it was booming. I didn't sleep a wink. It was too noisy with the AC on and too hot with it off, so I ended up turning it on and off six or seven times throughout the night. The next day, I switched rooms, and it was much better, though the AC was still quite loud. Luckily, it wasn't too hot with it off, so I just left it off. The hotel's location is good; it's a ten-minute walk to Central Department Store, which is great for shopping and dining. There's also a big mall five minutes away, and several 7-Elevens right across from the hotel. The pool is small and didn't look very clean, probably because it's older. The service, however, was quite good. The staff always had smiles, and the bellhops proactively helped with luggage, with a dedicated staff member opening doors. Overall, the first night was a bad experience, but after changing rooms, I was quite satisfied. The hotel even did turn-down service and changed towels on the second night, which was a nice touch. I really hope they provide new disposable slippers for every guest; otherwise, I'm worried about hygiene, especially with foot infections. I definitely won't choose this hotel again on my next trip to Bangkok. The toiletries in the shower were difficult to use; the dispensers were hard to press. The breakfast seemed to have a wide variety, but when it came down to finding something good to eat, there wasn't much appealing.

This was my first time at any Standard accommodation and it was anything but standard!! I knew it was going to be jazzy and instagrammable and it didn’t disappoint. Every nook, cranny and corner was tastefully decorated or filled with unusual ornaments and furniture. Each room had a different vibe, the tiles and colours are sublime. Check in was fine, recieved a cocktail welcome drink 👌🏻and a voucher to visit the skybar and glass walkway for FREE! This made my day as I was planning to go up anyway. The pool area on the 6th floor is lush, surrounded by vegetation and has a jacuzzi and ample sized pool with immersed sun beds in the water. Plenty of day beds,sun and shade, although it did get busy in the afternoon and we struggled to get two beds together for a while. Breakfast is very good quality too. Lovely choice of fresh made dishes as well as the cold platters and usual fare. Slight awkward moment on checkout when they tried to charge us for something from the minibar ( that we didn’t have) but apart from that, I’m already planning another visit. Sky bar 👌🏻

This is a massive hotel, truly a 'city within a city.' The interior is luxurious. The rooms are a bit dated, but that wasn't a big deal for us. What was an issue, though, was the lack of towels: upon check-in, we only had two bath towels and two small hand towels. On the second day, during room cleaning, they took the two small towels and didn't replace them. However, we were only staying for two nights, so even this minor inconvenience wasn't critical. Around the hotel, there's a huge market with clothes and small cafes. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride to River City and a 20-minute walk to Khao San Road. You can also take a boat along the canal right next to the hotel to get to the subway, which is fast and inexpensive.

Friendly staff and nice views from the high floors. The room was okay until we found a cockroach on the 18th floor. We, of course, went down to report it and were given a new room on the 16th floor, which was also fine. However, you could tell from the staff's reaction that cockroaches were a common occurrence. We were originally in room 1812 where the cockroach was found, and that room was also right next to the Gen Z bar, so we could hear music in the evenings, which was quite annoying. The walls are very thin, if you can say that. You can hear everything happening in the hallway, and in the bathroom, you can hear people from either below, above, or next door. So, very thin doors. There's a lot of traffic, so you can hear honking and other noises from the street below. This didn't bother us, but it's something for others considering this hotel. They were also in the process of renovating one side of the road. Personally, we found the sidewalks to be very crowded, with shops spilling out everywhere, making it difficult to walk. But it's not far from Central World and other good malls, which was great! However, it's probably not somewhere I'd stay again :) Unfortunately, I wouldn't say it's a 4-star hotel.

Every year we visit Bangkok to pay respects at the Erawan Shrine, and this time we decided to try the Baiyoke Sky Hotel, despite its mixed reviews online. I was a bit apprehensive, but honestly, my only thought after staying there was – why didn't I come sooner! 1) Service and Check-in: The front desk staff were very friendly and polite, and check-in was quick. After checking in, they not only gave us a fruit cocktail voucher for the 83rd floor but also an ice cream coupon for the kids, which was a really thoughtful touch. 2) Room Experience: We stayed on the 55th floor in a room with a 1.8-meter king bed and a 1.3-meter single bed. The room was very spacious. Although it's an older hotel, and the facilities show their age, the room was very clean. Besides a refrigerator, it also had a bathtub for the kids to play in, but the best part was undoubtedly the breathtaking, unobstructed Bangkok city view. 3) Breakfast and High-Altitude Experience: During our stay, we had all our meals at the restaurant on the 83rd floor. The food selection was incredibly rich and varied. The restaurant staff were not only very friendly but also quick to replenish dishes. Plus, with our room key, we could access the 360-degree revolving viewpoint on the 84th floor for free, both day and night, offering panoramic views, including the Chao Phraya River in the distance. The view was absolutely stunning. 4) Surroundings and Night Market: Right downstairs from the hotel is Pratunam Market, Bangkok's largest wholesale center, and next door, Platinum Fashion Mall boasts over 2,000 shops. The Pratunam Night Market is also right beside the hotel, offering endless browsing for days. Just a left turn downstairs, you'll find massage parlors, a 7-Eleven, and various restaurants. Central World and Big C are also only about a 15-minute walk away. The only minor drawback is that the street downstairs can be a bit chaotic, a stark contrast to the hotel, but its convenience and lively atmosphere make up for it. I personally love this authentic local vibe. 5) Transportation Convenience: It's a 5-10 minute walk to Ratchaprarop Station on the Airport Rail Link, which takes you directly to Suvarnabhumi Airport in 25 minutes. One stop further to Phaya Thai makes it convenient to transfer to the BTS Green Line. If you want to avoid crowded subways or BTS during peak hours, it’s also easy to hail a taxi using Grab or Bolt right outside. In summary, while Baiyoke Sky Hotel is an older establishment, it has been renovated, and our stay was excellent. Next time we're in Bangkok, we'll definitely be back to stay here again!

I booked this place for two nights. I saw other reviews saying the accommodation was clean, but for me, the bathroom was quite dirty, as if the housekeeper hadn't cleaned it at all. There were stain marks on the walls and the sink was also stained. However, the duvet and bedsheets were quite clean. On the second night, the housekeeper forgot to provide towels, so I called reception to request some. But after a long wait, no one brought them up, so my partner had to go down to get them himself. The towels for the second night also had a musty smell. The swimming pool and gym were pretty decent for the price. I booked a room with breakfast, and the breakfast was fine. The staff at the restaurant provided excellent service; they were very cheerful, especially a female staff member who took great care of us, and the male staff member who drove us to the main road was also very helpful. Overall, it was quite okay, but I have to deduct points for the cleanliness of the bathroom, as it seemed the housekeeper hadn't cleaned the walls at all.

We stayed for two nights and booked a one-bedroom suite. Everything seemed great: the room was clean, service was good, breakfast was enjoyable, and the location was excellent. The only peculiar thing for a 5-star hotel was the empty mini-bar. The pools were fantastic, and the view was splendid. What I didn't like, and didn't see mentioned in other reviews (if I had, I definitely wouldn't have stayed here), was the 'closed' door connecting to the next room. You could hear the neighbors extremely clearly, which was quite bothersome. I had no desire to hear our Chinese neighbors or see light spilling from under their door at 1 or 2 AM. We definitely won't be staying at this hotel again, or perhaps we'd need to book a higher room category.

Our stay at Splash Beach Resort was excellent. We absolutely loved this hotel, and our kids actually didn't want to leave! Even though the water park was closed for maintenance, it wasn't an issue at all, as the hotel offers so many activities for children that kept them entertained throughout our entire stay. The staff's service was simply spectacular. Every single employee greeted us with a smile, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making us feel right at home. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the pools were very well-maintained, and the location, very close to the airport and Mai Khao beach, is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the planes flying by very close. I had a wonderful stay at Graceland Resort—I can’t be any happier. I arrived pretty late at night, and all I asked for was a nice, quiet room. The front desk lady Jenny at that time of night was incredibly considerate and sweet .She upgraded me to a pool room, and I truly appreciate that. Also, there was a lovely cleaning lady Kanyakorn who cleaned me room every day and was very attentive and pleasant , she let me borrowed the iron exceptionally longer period of time😅Overall, I felt taken care of and very welcomed. The service and hospitality were excellent. The breakfast was okay—I’d rate it about 6.7 out of 10—but the hotel itself is beautiful. It has a couple of pools and it’s right on the beach, with many restaurants around. Hotel got a small gym as well which is good enough for few days workout and oh yes they offer complimentary half an hour morning trainings as well which was nice . I also remember a v kind gesture from them i ordered late night food and they forgot to deliver to bring and on being reminded the food and beverage manager felt terribly sorry and wanted to send free meal next day which wasn’t needed for me so I declined politely but they were so sweet they still ended up sending a fruit platter to room.In all , with such great hospitality, I would definitely come back to the hotel. Customer service was awfully wonderful.

The hotel grounds are expansive with excellent facilities. It's very quiet at night, and the natural environment is lovely, with small animals roaming freely. There are three swimming pools, a gym, a bar, and a kids' club. Our sea-view room was very close to the back entrance, which leads directly to the beach, and it was also convenient for taxis. Guests booking day trips need to take a shuttle to the main lobby to wait for their transport, but it's very convenient, so don't worry about the large size of the resort being an inconvenience. If you're on a leisurely trip and don't want to wake up early, you don't need to book the hotel breakfast. There are many restaurants around; just a 5-10 minute stroll from the back entrance, and you'll find plenty of dining options. The soundproofing is average. The hotel room doors have a small gap and are quite thin, so I could hear other guests chatting outside the door at 8 AM. I'm a heavy sleeper, so it didn't bother me much. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to request a room away from the elevators. I saw other guests commenting that the hotel felt damp. Being an island hotel, I think some humidity is normal. However, indeed, washed clothes don't dry if you hang them inside the room; they won't dry even overnight. But if you hang them on the balcony, they dry within a morning. Cons: [Slight flaws in the details] 1. I booked a twin room, but the two beds were pushed together. I left notes twice requesting an extra blanket and also gave a tip, but I never received one. Perhaps my English wasn't clear, or maybe the staff couldn't understand English? I eventually gave up. 2. Point #1 is a minor issue that someone with good English should be able to sort out, so it's not a big deal. However, what I found most unacceptable, and something that shouldn't happen at a Pullman hotel, occurred during check-out. There were two staff members at the front desk. An older female staff member, probably in her 40s (her name tag seemed to say PLOY), was on the phone. A gentleman then approached and politely said, ”Hello” (likely to check out). Before he could say another word, the staff member looked down, frowned, and said abruptly, ”Wait a moment, wait a moment,” in a very impatient tone. The younger staff member who was assisting me with check-out perhaps also felt the other staff member's attitude was poor, and immediately and gently added, ”Please wait a moment, sir.” I stayed here for 6 days and encountered no less than 20 hotel employees, all of whom were smiling and proactively offered help when they saw you might need it. Therefore, I was very surprised to witness such an expression and attitude from staff at such an important position as the front desk during check-out. I hope they improve this.

Our room was on the 4th floor, and the duvet was slightly damp. There was a faint, almost unnoticeable musty smell when we first entered, but it disappeared after a short while. I don't think the room felt old; some minor wear on the corners was negligible – you're not staring at the corners anyway. Overall, the room was quite clean; we didn't see any bugs or ants, probably because we were on the 4th floor. The mirror faced the bed, but I didn't mind; I wouldn't even know some people find this an issue if I hadn't read other reviews. We brought a water filter, but the hotel's water came out clean and colorless. Our filter would turn yellowish after about 2 days, but subsequent daily changes kept it mostly clear. My family even brushed their teeth directly with tap water, and we had no issues. The hotel environment was also excellent, giving a real vacation vibe. The kids loved the pool, and there were taps right by the poolside for rinsing feet and showering, which was very convenient. We could easily wash off sand from our feet after coming back from the beach. Breakfast was indeed quite 'Western' (or 'white people food'), and after two meals, we weren't keen on it anymore, so we ate breakfast out for the rest of our stay. There's a 7-Eleven to the left of the hotel entrance and a 'You & Me' laundromat next to it. If you turn right out of the hotel, then left at the intersection and walk a bit, you'll find 'Hungry Corner,' a restaurant we ate at for five days because it was delicious. Some other restaurants near the hotel weren't great, so I recommend checking Google ratings. The hotel staff were all very nice. For the price, I think this hotel offers excellent value for money.

Unbeatable value for money! Google Maps will lead you into an alley, and the tallest building there is this hotel. I initially booked it just for a layover, with no expectations, but it turned out to be surprisingly good. For just over 200 yuan, you can even see the sea. The lobby is huge, and there's a pool, though we didn't get to use it. The room was very clean and new. Someone was there to help with luggage right at the lobby entrance and even brought it up to our room and set it down. The front desk staff were also very friendly and welcoming to Chinese guests, even giving us afternoon tea vouchers. It was absolutely fantastic and definitely a place I'd stay at again! Too bad I didn't take any photos, but it's absolutely worth it and comparable to a Hilton Garden Inn in China.

Well, as has been said before, this is an Instagram hotel, great for pretty photos. Check-ins and check-outs are non-stop, with a constant change of faces. But the photos really do turn out beautiful. We had a room with pool access, which was very small. It was a tight squeeze for two people. There was nowhere to even put our belongings, let alone dry them. There's one small rail near the bathroom. No closets. The floor was constantly wet because of the pool access. Plus, the shower door didn't close properly, so water splashed everywhere. The sink was in the middle of the room. Basically, water everywhere! I removed my daughter from the photo, hence the AI caption. Oh, and by the way, their restaurant is quite good and, most importantly, affordable. We later checked into another hotel nearby but kept coming back to their restaurant.

Love the location of the hotel. Smack in the middle of the town, but far from noises (just a bit of noise from the boxing stadium but quiet after 12am). Room was comfortable for 2. they take 2000baht cash depo per room tho, just I thought was too much (they don’t take credit card). The water heater also keeps going too hot and cold.

First and foremost, the service was truly exceptional. Whether it was the buggy drivers or the restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly polite. A special shout-out to our butler, Meiling, whose excellent Chinese made communication effortless and who patiently assisted us with all our requests throughout our stay. The Thai restaurant also served delicious food. However, there were a few downsides. For a room costing tens of thousands a night, the daily fruit offerings were quite underwhelming; two dragon fruits on the first and third days, and three oranges on the second day felt a bit ungenerous. Also, the minibar items were all chargeable. The turndown sweets were also very basic, just a few small cookies, which was quite disappointing. Another major point that didn't align with the price point was the hotel's spa. While the environment was decent, the techniques and procedures were no different from a regular massage outside, which was quite a letdown. The airport transfer service on our last day was a pleasant surprise; after arranging it with the hotel, we were met by a dedicated hotel staff member at the airport who guided us through fast-track customs, which was fantastic.

Lovely modern hotel with a great pool! Our room was large and exceptionally clean with a super comfy bed. I was unwell when we arrived and the staff were very accommodating, allowing us to check in to our room early. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the big shopping centre, but other than that, is quite far away from the main attractions of Old Town (though Grabs there are pretty cheap!). The gym is ok but would benefit from some updated kit and AC 😊
