What an awesome experience! The hotel offered exemplary service before we even arrived. Due to special travel arrangements, we arrived late and the staff quick to arrange an in-room bento dinner for us before our arrival. When we got there, we were immediately blown away by the gorgeousness of the hotel.
Despite its age, everything was very clean and polished. I can see that great care had been taken to upkeep the hotel and it’s premises, which are extraordinarily beautiful. We couldn’t resist taking pictures even after check-out, and it took us an hour to finally reluctantly leave. Words cannot actually do the place justice, you must visit there yourself.
We were very impressed with how delicious the food was, and the attention to detail, including the placement of the food, the coordination of food color. My mouth is still watering as I recall how delicious it was. I had 10 helpings of their prime rib one day. Besides, I had a dietary restriction and the staff were really careful with that, to the extent of reminding me what dishes not to eat everyday at their breakfast and dinner buffet.
In addition to excellent food and service, the hotel went out of its way to be very eco-friendly. For every day that we did not need our room to be tidied, we earned points, which can be traded in for ice cream or other goodies.
Finally, the staff spoke perfect English. This is rare indeed, and it made everything so much easier and so much more enjoyable. Thanks for the experience!From$240

It's the second time I stayed here after 5 years. Because the price increased so much during the Chinese New Year, I only stayed for one night, but the children still liked it very much. They could find candies to eat, and there were snacks in the evening. There was milk and ice cream in the hot springs. I was satisfied with everything. Although the hotel is old, it is well maintained. The hot springs have a light smell of sulfur. Every day after skiing, the snacks and hot springs are super comfortable. The only drawback is that the location is a little bit off. You can either take the hotel shuttle or the ski resort shuttle to go out.From$432

On the day we left, the car we rented needs to be fitted with anti-skid tires. Because of the heavy snow, the store manager enthusiastically helped us install them. The room is clean and comfortable, the food is OK, the ice cream is delicious, there are many monkeys on the tree in front of the hotel, it's very interesting, downhill is Happo-one. Location, 5 minutes to Wulong Snow Resort, it was an excellent location. But what needs to be done is the big environment. Hakuba Village is a perfect place to escape the summer heat. The Hakuba Hotel is lovely, surrounded by flowers. I saw an elderly man meticulously tending the flowers, meticulously tending them. We took the free shuttle directly from Iwatake to the hotel. The lobby offers free coffee and a shop. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, and the food was delicious and filling. We also enjoyed a hot spring bath in the evening and a morning coffee at Snowpeak. Then, we arranged for the hotel's free shuttle to take us to Hakuba Station and on to Matsumoto. They really in love with the place and all speak the same that we will definitely come back again ! The owner has a service to bring you to the supermarket at 4 pm everyday. The place is great. It feels very new and the living space was very good. We booked the 2 bedroom with loft. The loft do have another 2 beds, so the apartment can easy stay 6 people. However, there is only one shower and toilet. So it might be a little busy there during peak hour 😂. A good thing is they are seperated.

I stayed in a dormitory like a capsule hotel, but it was clean and comfortable with a private locker that was not small and had multiple outlets, individual lights and clothes. Security also had a PIN at the entrance and room, and there was also a space for ski boots and boards in the entrance. The bath was only a shower, but there were three and it wasn't crowded. The washer / dryer was also available for 300 yen, which was helpful. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! It truly exceeded all our expectations and provided the perfect setting for our family getaway.
From the moment we arrived, the caretaker's service was truly exceptional. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Their warmth and professionalism made a huge difference.
The house itself was spotlessly clean and very well-maintained. It was clear that great care is taken to ensure the comfort and hygiene of the guests.
As a whole-house rental with three spacious bedrooms, it was perfectly suited for our family. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably.
One of the major conveniences was the fully equipped kitchen. It had every single cooking utensil and appliance we could possibly need, which made preparing meals for the family easy and enjoyable.SOLD OUT

Overall a pleasant stay. Started with a few hiccups due to late and incomplete responses through mail. However, Mr Hiroki the supervisor and the staff in general tried their level best to ensure a comfortable stay for us. The hotel is quite comfortable and serves its purpose as a hotel for those seeking to head to ski fields as the shuttle bus stop is outside the hotel.From$630

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful.
The equipment in the hotel is clean and new. I also liked the design of the hotel.
One slight disadvantage was that the hotel was far from many facilities in Hakuba; it would be fine if I were driving. The heat in the summertime makes moving around Hakuba difficult.From$177

The price of the snow season is quite expensive. The big bed room is 5000+, and the Gaza hair bed is more than 300. This hotel is marked with four stars, but the Google search is marked with Samsung. Not run by locals in Japan, the sanitary environment is really average, the big bathing venue is sticky, there are floating hair in the pool, and the towels are thrown everywhere. The carpet used in the room, but the vacuum is not thorough, and the dust allergy has to wear a mask, and the purifier can be comfortable. Breakfast is all European, there is no Japanese soup or the like, cold food. I wanted to use a dryer, but as soon as I entered the socks, the dryer was full of black hair. The pick-up day was also promised 15 minutes, but I waited for 30 minutes. I called again and said that there were other things on the road. Not recommended, if you want to come to Baima, it is recommended to book other hotels.From$464

The experience my brother and myself had at Hakuba UNNTYOU was exceptional . Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in very close walking distance to Goryu ski resort.
The twin room despite being basic was very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast included was a lovely mix of Chinese cuisine which provided all the energy needed for a full day up on the mountain. Additionally they provided very cheap options for cold/hot beverages aswell as snacks which we loved after coming back from a full day of activities .
The hotel has its own onsen style bath which was great to unwind in , adding the the authentic Japanese experience.
The staff at this hotel despite not speaking very much English provided excellent service to us and always went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and much more .
The kindness from the staff aswell as the abundance of available facilities made this an excellent experience for us both . Highly recommend this hotel to any travellers wanting an authentic Japanese experience within a very westernised skiFrom$58

From the outside, it looks like an old hotel there, but it is very clean, the service is good, there is an onsen to soak in, and there is a parking lot, very convenient. The room should be considered large in Baima Village. It is very comfortable for a family to live in. The overall style is very retro. It can be seen that the traditional style is deliberately retained. The breakfast is simple. The only inconvenient thing is that you have to climb stairs. There is no elevator. The guest room is on the second floor. On the first floor, the front desk took the initiative to help carry luggage. The snowboards were stored in a drying room similar to the basement, so it was inconvenient to carry the snowboards.From$175
