We had a lovely stay and we genuinely don't understand some of the low reviews. The room was very nice, especially for the price we paid, the staff was attentive and the breakfast was really quite good. Would definitely stay again.

Travelling on a ten day holiday Sicily jewel of the Mediterranean with Titan Travel flying from Gatwick airport to Catania were we where met by our guide Denise and driver Claudio and taken to the Eureka Palace hotel for a three nights stay. Being a solo traveler the room is very important my room was spacious, comfortable and I had a lovely balcony which looked out onto a racecourse which was very interesting watching the horses in training with riders or buggies each morning, we were a group of 40 travellers the evening meal’s were set menu but the food not very good, the breakfasts were excellent buffet style you could choose what to eat plenty of choices, the staff were very friendly and helpful but they did seem to be rushing around covering other areas of the hotel. During our stay we visited Syracuse, Ortigia, Noto, Ragusa, Modica. On departure from the hotel I paid my hotel room tax at reception, staff were very friendly and helpful I enjoyed my stay.

We are not inclined to reviews but this was compulsory. We celebrated and celebrated our wedding at the Grand Hotel Villa Polit. The day was inconceivable beyond any desire, the banquet a success. We thank the chef, the kitchen and room staff, the master, the property and the management, but more than for the wonderful event for the kindness and patience of helping us organize it. The customer care and attention are the element that makes the difference for us and Dr. Cannizzaro and Mr. Russian accompanied us step by step with commitment and dedication.Clean and elegant rooms and staff in reception ready to accept the most varied requests. Say that we would advise it is reducing, say little: 6 stars!

We stayed during a TUI tour of Sicily and this was evidently chosen because it was very cheap. There was another TUI tour group staying on the same night, so it was clearly catering for this market. The Hotel - it was dated and the rooms were in a terrible state, with furniture broken, an unpleasant smell and the bathroom flooded with water after using the shower. The Staff - rude and unhelpful, in particular on reception. I note that they say English is a language that they cater for, but they refused to make any effort to communicate in it at all. The Food - awful, unless you think that a spoon of risotto, a mackerel fillet, spoon of iceburg lettuce and slice of watermelon makes an acceptable meal. That's the problem with an inclusive package i guess. Dreadful hotel to steer well clear of. I am surprised that TUI are using it - they must have a lot of negative feedback.

Excellent location in the heart of Ortigia. We spent a great time, btwen the 31rd december 2023 and the 1st January, 2024 in the new area of the building, called ”The Museum” dedicated to the movies's history and its icones. the bedrooms are simply wonderful, never seen anything similar. silence, courtesy and a very goodd breakfast completed this perfect place.

We had a great stay once again for our wedding anniversary, the 1st time was in 2019 when we stayed a night after getting married. So it was great to relive this experience. The staff is very kind and helpful, food excellent, but most of all we enjoyed the spa. We saw the difference in how it was before and how it is now, and all i can day is wow, especially the salt cave. The improvements and upkeep of the spa is incredible. Great job to all of you.

The most terrible experience ever ! We give 1 point because the friendliness of the staff in the restaurant was 'real', compared to the reception .. We first got a 'very' old dated room on the second floor. Incomprehensible that in 2023 there are still such dark rooms: old furniture, heavy unfresh curtains, dirty walls, cracking bed, fungus in the bathroom, airco does not work,... When we found out that we could not take a shower because the crane was broken We went to the reception and asked for another room, and we received it after we urged it for our sake, because we first heard as an excuse that there was no room anymore. We got a larger 3-persoonskamers that was just as dark and uncomfortable, but this had a new floor and net walls and the bathroom was at least renovated ! The airco also did not work well, it is a general airco for the whole hotel that makes a lot of noise and doesn't really cold air. It was a pity that this room had a fresh smell, this fell up when the door was opened. Since you climbed out of the lift, you actually knew how bad the hotel is: dark corridors, worn red tape, fresh walls! Breakfast : very disappointing ... All is slordig, little choice and supplement you need to ask ... The evening meal : choice from several dishes, and they are delicious ... The chairs in the restaurant are old chairs with a hose about it, and although these dresses are very unfrishing. Tips for the hotel : 1) Renov! 2) Delete the airco in all websites because you do not have them! 3) Don't give your guests 'injury' and 'unfrishing' rooms! We will inform the tour operator. This is the first time we write such a negative review, but this is certain and right ...
