Recommended by a friend, this private kitchen cuisine is full of surprises for someone who has tried many stir-fry and Taiwanese restaurants in Taipei. After eating there, you understand why it's so low-key; such a delicious restaurant might become impossible to book if it gets too popular 😂 It's said that it's already hard to get a reservation now.
🌟 A humble restaurant with only six tables and no menu, it showcases the catch of the day with a raw ingredient display case. The recommended dishes are written on a whiteboard with a handwritten menu, and you can ask them to introduce the dishes. Regulars usually order directly 👍
🌟 For today's gathering, we ordered 12 dishes, and each one was delicious without exception. Stir-fried eel, clam and chicken soup, poached white shrimp, celery with squid, scallion beef, satay lamb, scallion shrimp omelet, stir-fried bamboo shoots, and garlic stir-fried water spinach were all cleared from the plates.
✔️ The Kung Pao fish balls were unique, a must-try with fried fish balls in a spicy stir-fry.
✔️ The shrimp was very fresh, with a sweet and crunchy texture.
✔️ The so-called 'strongest salt and pepper peanut dragon balls' in Taipei City are indeed worthy of their name!
💯 The lady boss not only has great cooking skills but also insists on buying fresh fish and ingredients every day. She also values cleanliness, which is not like the greasy feeling of a typical stir-fry restaurant. The complimentary watermelon juice after the meal was a perfect ending, winning my heart 💕
