Changsheng Palace is located in Huaqingchi Scenic Area. It is also called Jilingtai, which is one of the main buildings of Huaqing Palace in Tang Dynasty. The Changsheng Temple was first built in 748 A.D. in Tang Dynasty to honor seven emperors, including Li Yuan, Li Shimin, Li Zhi, Wu Zetian, Li Xian, Li Dan, and Lao Zi Li, emperor Xuanyuan. The Hall of Eternal Life is better known for the stories of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty and Empress Yang Guifei, where they pledged to take the Tanabata Oath.
