The building itself was originally a local court in Orlando. The five-storey building contains thousands of exhibits dating back as early as 12,000 years to the Greater Orlando area. As the headquarters of the Central Florida History Society, it also reflects the natural transition from Indian primitive culture to Spanish colonial and pastoral history.
