We arrived just as the hotel was subject to a power cut. The young guy receptionist took us to the room as our door keys would not work due to the electricity outage. The electricity came back on in reception about 5 minutes later but someone had to go room to room to reset each rooms supply. Some 2 hours later after having sat in the dark unable to unpack and several tracks to reception and being told we were priority we gave up and went out to dinner in the clothes we travelled in after a 4 hour 30 minutes flight. Other hotels were affected in the same street apparently. Once this issue was sorted by the time we got back from dinner everything was great. Lovely breakfast, lovely room with Molton Brown shower gel, shampoo and hand soap and lotion. Lovely pool and no issue getting sun beds. Short walk to the beach and dunes but a lot of steps up and down. Also 10 minute walk to Yumbo shopping centre which had everything you needed from great shops to excellent restaurants and bars. Great place for LGBTQ to meet up and great place to people watch. Definitely recommend

This time, I booked two five-star hotels on the island, both of which are owned by riu. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. The desert is right next to it. The sunset is particularly beautiful, and the hotel staff are also very enthusiastic. The swimming pool is a saltwater swimming pool that feels like swimming in the sea, and the room is not bad. Mine is a pair of two single beds put together. You can also note that you need a single bed. There are a complete range of food and beverages, and you really get what you pay for. The hotel is not too big, but although the sparrow is small, it has all internal organs. The only thing is that when the wind blows near the desert, a lot of sand will be blown, but it doesn't matter if you go back to the room and take a shower. There are buses and taxis outside the hotel, the transportation is convenient, there are restaurants, bars and shops everywhere, and it is a very mature place for vacation and tourism.

Great hotel right by the sea with a great garden! The restaurant was great! Unfortunately for a 5 star hotel, there was little water in the room and Nespresso machine. There was also no cosmetics or soap! Service in the room was OK

First of all, the place is very big, and different accommodation units are next to each other. We arrived in the early morning that night. If it weren't for the porter's guidance, I would have gone the wrong way. There are several restaurants and swimming pools in the resort, and it is next to the beach. There is a bus terminal outside, which is very convenient to go out. Famous scenic spots and shopping centers are very close and can be easily reached on foot. The sun on the island is very strong, so you must take protective measures.

Excellent laid back and friendly hotel with a wonderful pool and delicious breakfast. Location was 15 minutes walk from the beach and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Very handy for airport transport on a good local bus service (line 66) room was spacious and comfortable. Good shower. Staff were obliging and kind. Will definitely return.

Everything was good, loads of choice for the food. The entertainment team was working very hard, all the staffs were very friendly, suitable for families with young kids.

Very suitable for parent-child vacation, the hotel has arranged a lot of programs from morning to night. The design details of the hotel are super beautiful and ubiquitous, perfect African style. There are 9 swimming pools, you can definitely find the place you want to lie down and relax. There is a long row of shopping festivals and small restaurants at the entrance of the hotel. The Tujiu restaurant is the most authentic and delicious. The room is clean, large in size, well-equipped and comfortable! The hotel has a swimming pool and the surrounding scenery is beautiful and pleasant! Front office and services staffs can be more pleasant. Not sure if they understaff or tired . But they sometimes they not friendly. The guy who checked us in very nice but rest of stay, we don’t received friendly attitudes from the service nor front office staffs . The housekeeping lady so much helpful. The hotel are decent.
