I had a wonderful stay. The staff were very helpful and the room was spotless. I would definitely return.The facilities were great and the atmosphere was relaxing. Highly recommended for families and couples.

I was able to check in early, which was super convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, neat, and very comfortable — really satisfied with the stay! The location was also great, easy access to food and nearby places. Overall, definitely recommended!

I was a little scared at first because of some of the reviews. Although this hotel is quite old, it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It even had an air purifier. The staff was also very nice and the service was excellent.thank you.

The location is right in the city center, and the room environment is quite good. There are also many great food options near the hotel, and if you want to buy local specialties, they're all close by. Transportation is convenient too. The only minor inconvenience is the parking, which is a bit limited. The main drawback, however, is that the soundproofing in the rooms is very poor.

Convenient location opposite a local eatery area and coin-laundry across the road from the main entrance. There is direct access via a glass door from lobby to Boulevard Mall which has a small food court, smart supermarket, Watson, Guardian, Pizza Hut, Mr DIY. Hotel pool & gym at level 6. The gym has spacious floor space including 2 separate areas for yoga and exercises, away from the good range of equipment & free weights. My corner Deluxe room is spacious (45 M2,) with separate sitting area and even a timber deck for kids or exercises. Big comfortable bed/firm mattress, clean shower/bath room with strong water pressure, window offers good view of Kuching city all way to Matang and Santubong. Breakfast buffet offers both Malaysian & Western hot food, fruits, salad and yoghurt, tea, coffee, teh tarik and fruits drink.

Newly renovated boutique hotel with friendly staff. But the room was quite small, and there were frequent piping noises during the night (auto toilet flushing and dripping water from the shower noise) maybe due to new hotel with low pressure and air inside water piping. The light from the signage outside also very annoyed, bled through the blinds. Hard to sleep due to both the noise and brightness. On the upside, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the popular Chun Hui Cafe, known for its local breakfast. I recommend trying the kolok mee and spring rolls — both were delicious.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. The breakfast area was exceptionally clean, and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed being able to prepare my own Laksa. The location is also very convenient, close to restaurants, a mall, and the Sarawak River.

The location is very good. Beside hotel is pharmacy and food court. One thing I would like to complain about is the last day when I would like to check out. Before check out I did requested the front desk to ask someone else to pick up my 4 luggage’s which I put beside the door. However I did put other stuffs in the room too because I would like to comeback to the hotel room after having my breakfast. When I came back I saw that other stuffs that I didn’t required them to take they also took it down to the lobby. I still have my room key cards with me so I went back to my room. After I get into the room, I saw the house keeping is sitting on the sofa playing with her phone and watching the TV. She was shocked and I was shocked too! I feel it is very unprofessional and unpleasant to end up my trip and my hotel experience in this way. The housekeeping thought I already checked out but actually I not, I just requested for luggage picked up only because I would like to use the room again. From her reaction, I know that it was not her first time to request in the guest room after the guest is checked out. No apologizes from her. I feel very disappointed about this.

I had a truly pleasant experience staying at the Grand Margherita Hotel in Kuching. The location is excellent—right by the waterfront—making it very convenient for sightseeing, relaxing walks, and exploring nearby attractions and eateries. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even better. Breakfast had a good selection, with both local and international options, and the dining area was comfortable and spacious. Facilities like the pool and common areas were also well-kept and enjoyable. Overall, Grand Margherita Hotel offers great comfort, good service, and an ideal location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching, whether for leisure or business.

I stayed at Astana Wing Riverside Hotel during a recent business trip and found it to be a comfortable and practical choice. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a conducive environment for rest after a long day of meetings. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants within walking distance, which made meals and short breaks very manageable during my stay. The service provided by the staff was acceptable; however, I believe a warmer and more welcoming approach would further enhance the experience for business travellers. Overall, the hotel offers good value for business trips, with comfort, space, and accessibility as its main strengths.
