Cairns City Cairns|0.3km from city center
Not a 24-hour front desk, more than 6:00 in the evening, it is closed, there is a self-service machine at the door, but entering your own booking information does not work, you must call the phone posted on their wall (English), report your name , generally the name, not the last name. After they check the order, they will instruct you to enter a string of 6 digits on the kiosk to get your door card and elevator access card from the kiosk. Then, brush the elevator access card into the building door, enter the elevator, find Just brush your own room and get in. Let me talk about his house type. I have an apartment style, a bedroom, it should not be a 1.8 bed. Our 2 adults brought a 12-year-old child to sleep on the bed, their feet are outside the bed, and the living room is two. People sofa, because the reservation said that no extra bed, so it is so okay. The room facilities are very old, the shower door on the bathtub has been replaced, only one frame is left, there is no shower curtain, the nozzle is sprayed in a mist, the basic washing is not so happy, it will splash around, and the bath is basically the bathroom. wet. The capsule coffee machine in the room was bad, could not make coffee, and did not clean every day until the day of departure. If it is not because I booked a day trip to the Kuranda Rainforest, I will take a sightseeing train back when I return. This hotel is opposite the train station. I can go upstairs from the train station to the large parking lot, from the commercial building of Coles Supermarket. It’s really tight, but in addition, it’s definitely not chosen because the accommodation is too poor and there is no service at all. The front desk service is Monday to Friday 8:00-17:00 and weekend is 10: 00-15:00. Dear friends, if you can move, it is recommended to choose other hotels. According to my observation, Cairns has very few taxis. It seems that it is impossible to make a reservation, and the bus is not convenient. Basically, it depends on the legs. Breakfast was not eaten at the hotel, it is estimated that it is not awkward, the hotel itself has a parking lot, the visual inspection is quite big, because there is no self-driving in Cairns, so I don't know how to charge, but it should be charged.

Sunshine Tower Hotel

My partner and I stayed at sunshine tower for 5 nights and it was an enjoyable stay. I want to start by saying the girls on reception were all very friendly and welcoming, they were happy to have a chat anytime and also recommended places to visit and see. Shout out to Phoebe she was lovely! The property is a little be further out of the main ***** but only a 10-15 minute walk or you can jump on one of the Beam scooters that are outside. The outside of the property is tired looking and could do with an update but the rooms are renovated and lovely. Tiled floors, updated furniture and great sizes. The kitchenette was lovely to have even though we didn’t really use it. There is no oven or stove up so keep this in mind when booking. The bathroom was a tad small but worked and the shower was great! We were in room 702 which had a lovely view towards the beach but note that this level also houses the electrical stuff so it is a little loud when you are trying to sleep. The tv was a smart tv but could never connect to the wifi so I would recommend them to update to have modems on each level. The outdoor pool and sauna were okay, only used it once and unfortunately the texture of the spa and pool was very rough on the skin so couldn’t stay in there long. BBQs are available for use but we didn’t use these. No housekeeping (I knew about this before booking) however the girls at reception were more than happy to provide more toilet paper/towels/tea/coffee etc with no extra cost. Overall it’s a great property and worth the visit for stays under a week!

Vue Apartments Trinity Beach

Trinity Beach|0.19km from Trinity Beach
Two of the six people stayed for 4 nights, the room was 2 double bedrooms and a single bedroom, the space was big enough, the double bathroom, the laundry room, the kitchen utensils were very good, and the rice cooker sandwich machine coffee machine, etc., only salt and Black pepper seasoning, living 405, sea view is 100°, the downstairs swimming pool is beautiful, it is playing outside during the day, the morning scenery is beautiful, but I don’t know if it is a seasonal problem, the sea is not blue, black yellow black and yellow, And there are signs on the beach that there will be crocodiles infested, big winds and waves, the hotel has a lot of western restaurants to the beach, there are quite a lot of people in the evening, very quiet area, parking no money. Ok, let's talk about the point. Check in at 10 o'clock in the evening. No one is at the front desk but left the envelope with keys and garage remote control and check-in letter. They also called the front desk and told them that they had checked in. The next day, when I went out to play back, there was a wonderful event. The room was not cleaned. Of course it was not very dirty. The trash can was cleaned up, but two of the three bedrooms did not make a bed, and a plastic card was left to indicate: because the bed has Personal items are not arranged. If you need to clean up your personal belongings, it doesn't matter if I can understand it, but the third bedroom is to make a bed, but the children's pajamas are all thrown on the floor, this apartment is not Very new, the carpet is not so clean, because it is tropical, there is no quilt cover only the blanket, and the blanket is not washed regularly, the study room is particularly dirty, my friend has a small bag, it should be caused by mites, really It is disgusting for us. Because the next day is 10.1 and is also a public holiday in Australia, so I left a piece of paper indicating that no one is cleaning the day. I only need it on the 2nd. I need to clean the garbage myself. When they went to work on the 2nd, I went to the front desk to complain about this matter. The wording was quite polite, but the two ladies at the front desk were very impatient. It was impossible to tell me that personal belongings were thrown on the ground. I said that I have photos, you can Don't make a bed, but don't throw my things on the ground. And the room was not cleaned and the kitchen was stained. The lady at the front desk was very unfriendly and said that it might be that she forgot to put it back, I will remind you. In addition, we do not provide cleaning, cleaning should be done by yourself, we only provide services! OK, ok, I am not a person who has never seen the world. We have not soiled the house, and the garbage is consciously cleaned up and recycled as required. But on the day of checkout, the front desk gave another card, meaning that you should dispose of the garbage when you left, and restore the room to a level that is so clean, otherwise it will charge 75 Australian dollars per hour. Cleaning fee. In fact, if you don't say it, I will restore the kitchen, but the one left and right one reminds you that you are not here to spend money to enjoy it. It is the feeling of coming here to work as if you are doing your ass. Maybe I am not comfortable with Australia's self catering apartment, so please record here for those who need or consider booking this apartment. In addition, driving to the Kuranda rainforest is very close, but it is still 25 minutes to go to Cairns, not so close, there are several restaurants around, try Thai food, ok, not authentic but also suitable for Chinese taste. The location is not convenient for pick-up and drop-off of various scheduled events, so be sure to pay attention.

1) It was a nightmare checking-in. I reached the hostel at 6:30pm and realized that there was no reception but to use Goki for checking-in. However, I received a notice from Goki that ”no reservation” after keying in my confirmation number. I got a shock and kept asking for help from strangers within the hostel. By the time I got it solved, it was like 8:30pm and I was starved to death. 2) Though Goki is an easy system but u need to bring your mobile everywhere you go even to the toilet eg shower (what happen if you forget to bring out the phone); there was a time my phone was almost out of battery (1% left) and I have to quickly charge it by borrowing charger from others. 3) There is no window in my room (single) and the air-con temperature is beyond my control 4) The reception area only opens till 2pm daily, after which you have to make call for any housekeeping services. It really pose inconveniences for first timer who wants to know about Cairns in terms of the directions, places of interests etc. 5) The location is excellent but I don't think I will recommend this hostel to my friends in future.

Service: good Hygiene: OK. I don’t know if it’s because there’s some candy left on the table. There are a lot of ants crawling everywhere. Environment: The scenery is not as beautiful as expected Facilities: The swimming pool is not deep enough to swim in, but it is quite clean.

I really loved this motel as it was very Quiet during the day and night, even though they were full with guests. The motel was very, very clean, the beds were very comfortable and there was enough room for my two young children to play. The staff at reception were so friendly and helpful in arranging a ground floor unit for me. I have noticed that many hotels in Cairns are not staffed since Covid and it was so wonderful to have friendly staff available at reception and answering phones. Thanks for a wonderful stay. I will be back.

This hotel is very good. We are a family of three adults and one child. The room is very large, with a double bed (1.5 meters wide) and two single beds, separate bathroom, refrigerator, microwave oven, dishes, cutlery and forks. Spoons and toasters are very convenient. The hotel has no breakfast and no extra bed. It is suitable for a family. It can be said to be very good at this price. The hotel also has free parking spaces, free Wi-Fi, and a small swimming pool. The hotel is 1.2 kilometers away from the bustling beach area. You can eat and drink when you stroll. The location of the hotel is within the range of free pick-up and drop-off for day trips, which is very convenient.

This hotel is only 10 a 10-minute walk to the city centre and the fantastic pubs and cafes on the Esplanade. If you want to do it in 2 minutes get one of the the electric scooters outside the reception area. The safe are welcoming and very friendly, making my 3-week stay a pleasure. The only downside was their restaurant is not open every night, but not a problem when you are that close to everything the city has to offer.
