This is my third time staying here! I chose it again for my postgraduate entrance exam because it's the closest hotel to the test center. This visit was by far the best and most impactful of my three stays. The room type I booked through the platform was fully taken by other exam candidates, so they upgraded me to a one-bedroom suite with a separate living area. The chaise lounge sofa was incredibly comfortable to sleep on! Most importantly, the room had excellent amenities for studying – a desk and a desk lamp were all there! The black and white photos of Guangzhou landmarks like Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, Poly Intercontinental Hotel, and Poly Tianmu Plaza hanging on the wall added a touch of elegant artistic flair! What's more, the staff's service and demeanor were, as always, excellent. Chatting with them in Cantonese felt so friendly and avoided any awkward small talk; it was truly superb! Big thumbs up! The hotel even called beforehand to confirm, and they offered a shuttle service during the concert period. Choosing Muliangzhuang Hotel in Huadu for this vacation was absolutely the right decision – it definitely deserves five stars!
The moment I stepped into the hotel, the strong Southeast Asian vibe instantly caught my eye. The lobby was surrounded by lush greenery, with stone paths underfoot and bamboo woven lamps overhead. It felt just like being on an overseas holiday, instantly putting me at ease. During check-in, the staff were warm and professional. They quickly got everything sorted for me and thoughtfully introduced the hotel's facilities and activities. My appreciation for the hotel instantly shot up.
My lake view room was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an unobstructed view of the picturesque lake and mountains outside, like a natural painting. The huge, soft bed ensured I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom design was also very thoughtful, with a separate wet and dry area, and an extra-large bathtub. After a tiring day, a soak in the tub melted all my fatigue away.
The hotel's amenities were also very extensive. The outdoor pool was crystal clear and beautifully designed, with sun loungers and parasols nearby. It was incredibly relaxing to sunbathe and swim there. The Muliang Qingquan Hot Spring is also a must-visit, offering several unique hot spring pools. After a soak, my skin felt noticeably better. For families with children, the outdoor kids' play area and indoor kids' club are a paradise. With a wide variety of play facilities, children can have endless fun.
The dining experience was also excellent. The buffet breakfast at Sui Shi Fang Western Restaurant offered a rich variety of options, including Chinese hot congee and steamed buns, as well as Western bread and bacon. Everything tasted great, setting me up for an energetic day. The Cantonese cuisine at Yang Chinese Restaurant was truly exceptional. The ingredients were fresh, and the cooking brought out wonderful flavors, making every dish unforgettable.
There are also many interesting places to visit around the hotel. European Town and Jiulong Lake Scenic Area are just a few minutes' drive away, perfect for sightseeing and photo opportunities. Surrounded by lush greenery, they offer excellent privacy, and the warm, soothing water left me feeling completely refreshed. My room was a luxurious suite with private bath tub (around hkd 3000 for two nights including breakfast). Hardware is definitely exceptional. However when it comes to service it is below standard:
1) front desk - service was poor without any greetings such as bell boy. Front desk officers were unhappy without any eye contact when they talk to you. No hospitality at all;
2) breakfast - the quality both food and service were not up to a 4 or 5 star service. Table was not clean, staffs were almost unfriendly, except one female manager and one staff, all staffs were rushing their task and unwelcoming. I believe the hotel management need to motivate their staff ,otherwise, people won’t come again.
3) Amnenties - room is a luxurious suite with private bath tub, massage chair, kitchen , dining table and queen bed. The tub was not very clean, with water splitting . Such a waste as their service was not meeting the standard of what it is expected to be a 5- star resort. (The environment, garden were nicely decorated indeed) The Hot Spring pool is well known but I have’s try so cannot comment.
I won’t come to this resort again, if the service of the hotel haven’t improved. And I won’t recommend travelers with kids who is looking for a family friendly and good service resort.

This is one of the most reputable and best hot springs in Guangdong, and I've revisited after many years. Overall, the experience was great. The location and environment are exceptional, and the hot springs, especially the private ones, are fantastic – nothing to complain about there. The rooms have all been renovated, they're spacious and new, and having a dryer in the room is a huge plus! The staff are also very enthusiastic. There are a few minor issues I hope can be improved:
1. The public outdoor hot springs are too small. On the day we arrived (the 1st), we had to queue for a number. We didn't end up going because we had a private bath.
2. The water in the hot spring swimming pool was inconsistently hot and cold. The changing rooms are a bit small; you have to go out to the front desk to get a towel.
3. The breakfast restaurant is too small, and the variety of food is quite limited. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, it's quite basic.

I was extremely satisfied with the hotel I booked for this trip. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. We arrived at 3 PM, and they proactively upgraded our room to a spacious one in the main building, even having the air conditioning already turned on for us.
The hotel facilities were excellent too. The lobby offered free electronic games that were ready to play without payment, and my two kids absolutely loved them. The water park and hot springs were also great. While not huge, they were thoughtfully designed and offered everything we wanted. The kids had a blast! We had originally planned to visit Forest Sea, but we had so much fun at the hotel that we didn't even need to leave!
The dinner buffet was fantastic, and there was a pleasant surprise: we received complimentary Thai lemon tea, salmon sashimi, and grilled oysters. We were told this was an exclusive perk for bookings made through Ctrip, which was absolutely wonderful!
The service staff were enthusiastic throughout our stay. They tried their best to accommodate any requests we had, and their attitude was excellent! Upon check-out, they even gave us four cups of red bean tofu pudding, which was quite a tasty treat.
All in all, this was an excellent hotel choice, and my kids were also very satisfied. For families with children, I also recommend visiting Baishuizhai (White Water Village) after checking out the next day. It's only three kilometers away, very close. Extremely disappointing experience, especially given its supposed 'platinum five-star' status. Honestly, the facilities and service are worse than a standard four-star chain hotel.
The massive lobby has no waiting area. You have to queue for check-in and check-out, and with kids, there's nowhere to sit and rest. Forget about the welcome drinks that other five-star hotels usually offer.
The staff were all enthusiastic, but seemed very new. They weren't familiar with the hotel's basic facilities. The elevator attendant didn't even know where the garden entrance was, claiming it was their first day.
The privacy design is terrible. The shower area is completely open, meaning anyone in the bedroom can see someone naked right after showering. Even for family stays, this design is incredibly uncomfortable. I've never stayed in such a strange hotel, let alone a five-star one. Is it a couple's/boutique hotel?
We switched to an executive suite on the second day, which had a sliding door for the bathroom – but it was transparent!
The hairdryer was an old Philips model, very damaging to hair. Many five-star hotels use Dyson now. There were no multi-charging cables, let alone welcome fruit or daily sweet soup, which are standard at five-star establishments. On the contrary, all drinks and snacks in the mini-bar were chargeable and expensive; only basic water, tea bags, and coffee were free. Seriously, it's worse than a four-star chain, incredibly stingy.
We checked in with a child, and the front desk said they'd provide kids' toiletries and slippers, but we never received them even after two days until check-out. Basically, every issue required constant follow-up to get resolved. Internal management and communication efficiency were extremely low. I'm not sure if it's all new staff, but training seems inadequate and responsibilities unclear. Overall, a very, very poor experience.
There's only an outdoor pool, and it's not heated. My child loves swimming but couldn't enjoy it. Compared to these basic facilities, making the garden and fountain so grand to justify the price means absolutely nothing to guests.
I reported these issues to the customer service manager, hoping for improvements. They offered me a free breakfast if I stayed again… Am I supposed to pay a high price for such a room just for a free breakfast? This was my fourth stay at the Grand Hyatt Guangzhou, so I'm very familiar with the hotel. Its location is convenient, right in the heart of Zhujiang New Town. Some rooms offer views of the Canton Tower, while most overlook the green axis of Huacheng Avenue. For first-time visitors to Zhujiang New Town, the view from the window is quite novel, but for repeat guests, it might feel a bit restricted.
The rooms are on the smaller side for a hotel of this caliber, especially the twin rooms, which are narrower compared to most Hyatt properties in other cities. The bathtub has always been a small, square design; it's somewhat creative, but actually moving around in it for a soak is difficult.
However, the hotel's public areas are well-designed. The swimming pool is on the top floor and includes hot spring pools, which are much more comfortable and spacious than the in-room bathtubs. Breakfast is a definite highlight; I have a great impression of their fish porridge, wonton noodles, and dim sum. To be honest, my experience at Guangzhou MO this time wasn't very satisfying. We arrived at the hotel at 3:13 PM, and were told by the hotel staff that we couldn't check in because our room wasn't ready. So, my girlfriend and I went to grab a bite to eat. We returned to the hotel around 5 PM, only to be informed that we still needed to wait at the front desk as the room was still being finalized. This was a full two hours past the official check-in time of 3 PM.
There were a few other issues as well. My requests on Ctrip for extra water and towels were not fulfilled. It also took 25 minutes for our luggage to be delivered to the room, during which my phone was critically low on battery, and there was nothing I could do.
However, Guangzhou MO is, after all, an established hotel, and their service response is very prompt, with all staff members being very friendly and always smiling. The duty manager also responded quickly, which somewhat made up for the shortcomings.
All in all, Guangzhou MO is still a hotel worth experiencing, and I hope they can improve on their drawbacks.FromCAD 282

It's located on the second and third floors of a residential building, a few hundred meters from the Rainbow Metro Station exit. My 8-bed dorm was upgraded to a 6-bed dorm. The bunk beds are pretty much what I'm used to – long enough. Each bed has its own locker.
The shared bathrooms have smart toilets, and what really stands out are the double-partitioned shower stalls, which provide good wet-dry separation. While the space isn't huge, it's perfectly adequate.
The lobby has some basic entertainment like a pool table and foosball. The drinks at the bar are priced about average, maybe a little on the expensive side.
Overall, the hostel's location is excellent (Guangzhou's Xihua Road speaks for itself). However, at 70-80 yuan for a bed, it's a bit pricey.

Previously, getting to Sunac was just a quick walk across the street. Now, due to the construction, you have to take a significant detour, walking past four buildings just to cross the road, which makes the walk to Sunac Mall about fifteen minutes. Everything else was fine; this was the only inconvenient part.

I chose it originally because I compared the photos of hotel beds, and the bed was wider. There are 4 people in our family and the eldest son is more of a companion. Secondly, there is a princess room for children. It was really nice to have the kids here, and the cleanliness of the rooms, which was what I was most concerned about, was in place. Most of them are disposable items, so you can rest assured.
The bed is moderately hard
Because we arrived at night, the service desk was closed, but the staff assisted us via WeChat throughout the process, which was simple and easy to use.
There is a food street behind the building and a ski mall opposite, which is very convenient.
Next time I come to ski, I will definitely choose it again.

The room facilities are new and the environment is good. The children love the capybara in the room and have to hold it when they sleep [grin]. I really like staying here and don't want to leave. The housekeeper service is thoughtful and sent me a guide to the zoo in advance. It was a very satisfying trip. I will come again next time I have the chance.

管家介紹他們還有餐食服務，米其林廚師的師傅駐點，希望下次有機會再體驗。

The staff were super friendly! From check-in to check-out, they provided smiling service and proactively helped with luggage 🐾
🌳 **Environment**: Absolutely perfect for dogs to run around! With vast lawns and surrounding mountains, dogs can safely roam (just remember to keep them on a leash). Waking up to birdsong in the morning and falling asleep to the croaking of frogs and the sound of the stream at night—the air was so fresh, my lungs were cheering!
🛏️ **Facilities**: The design perfectly blends wild charm with a sense of luxury. The room was clean, spacious, and offered direct mountain views. The biggest surprise was the food! The wontons for breakfast had thin wrappers and generous filling, and the hotpot for dinner used fresh ingredients—highly recommended!

The store is very enthusiastic and let us pick longan for free. The hotel facilities are very complete. There are mountain spring water swimming pools, fish ponds, pavilions, and decoration and maintenance points. It will definitely not lose any net red shops. The breakfast is made by the proprietress, one person within 20 yuan, and the amount is a lot of tastes delicious. There are also many farmhouse dishes and bamboo rice options near the hotel. The hotel is not far from Menghuabu Village, Shuimei Village, Zhengguo Old Street and other tourist spots. It is very convenient for eating, lodging and transportation. The location is very good.

|56.16km from city centerThe good points are that it's pet-friendly, and the tatami room was relatively clean. However, it was the dry season in April, so there was basically no water in the reservoir. From the room, all you could see was dry land... the Fenghuang Reservoir was a letdown. There's practically nothing to do in the surrounding area. The room facilities were quite basic; there was a smart toilet, but it looked very dirty and wasn't even plugged in. The bathroom floor was concrete... What's worth mentioning is the breakfast. For a room rate of over 500 yuan, breakfast consisted of pork offal porridge + a small red bean bun + one egg (strictly enforced, only one per person). If only one person stayed in the room, they were only allowed one portion; I had to really argue to get two, even though the room booking included two breakfasts. Overall, it had a rustic charm, but it wasn't well-maintained. Many things looked abandoned. I never got to experience the glass-bottom boat or the infinity pool, and the paths were difficult to walk. Throughout my stay, I only saw one uncle and one cleaning auntie; no other service staff were visible.

From the moment you place an order on the APP, you can feel the meticulous service. The villa butler Acheng will call in advance to inform the specific matters of the villa check-in, and also help to check in at the villa area. It is so convenient not to go to the front desk. Any service you need for check-in can be solved immediately.
The room is beautifully decorated and comfortable, with all the facilities. The bedding is soft and clean, which made me sleep well all night. The bathroom is spacious and bright, and the toiletries are of high quality and exude a pleasant aroma.
