We absolutely loved our stay at the InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland. The rooms were modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a stunning view that made every moment feel special. The entire property is incredibly scenic, from the sunlit quarry walls to the peaceful water features, it’s unlike any other hotel experience. The night light show was a wonderful bonus and added a magical touch to the atmosphere. Although the hotel is located quite far from the city and major attractions, the tranquility and unique environment made it worth the distance. It’s a perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy something extraordinary. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and one-of-a-kind getaway! 🌟

This stay completely redefined my understanding of boutique hotels! Check-in at the front desk was lightning fast, and their smiles were as warm and welcoming as spring sunshine. Stepping into the room, I was immediately captivated – the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city skyline like a dynamic painting, with sunlight casting warm light and shadows on the natural wood furniture. Plus, there's a smart butler system for full voice control of the lights and curtains.

The hotel has a charming, secluded feel, located near the Zǐténg Road Metro (Mixc City) exit. Follow the hotel's signs once, and you'll easily find your way. The overall design boasts a distinct Hong Kong flair, blending trendy aesthetics with traditional Chinese elements. The staff were all incredibly professional and friendly, and the hotel offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended – I'll definitely be back next time! 👌

This is a very convenient hotel apartment. The kitchen comes with basic utensils, the fridge is large, and the washer and dryer work great. Deliveries are even brought to your room by a robot. My only suggestion would be to put up 'no smoking' signs in the non-smoking rooms/restrooms to remind some inconsiderate guests.

Booked this hotel for my parents. The location is super convenient, close to everything. The area around is lively and bustling! I guess rooms in Shanghai are generally not that big because space is at a premium, but it was cozy and comfortable. A special shout-out to the front desk staff who were very attentive and took great care of my elderly parents – highly recommend!

During the off-peak May Day holiday, the first choice for an outing to Sheshan is Kaiyuan Mingting! The hotel lobby is spacious and bright, the front desk Xiaoqian is warm and thoughtful, the check-in procedure is efficient and convenient, and the business king room with a large terrace is upgraded for free. The room is clean and comfortable. When I saw the children, I took the initiative to provide children's supplies. There are many plugs in the room, which is very convenient. The network speed is also very fast. It is suitable for business and parents. The hotel is next to Qingpu Sam's Club, which is very convenient for shopping. It takes 20 minutes to drive to Sheshan Forest Park. Overall, the overall experience exceeded expectations, and I will choose here next time!

From the moment we arrived, the experience at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. One of the staff specially took us to explore the different types of room so we can decide which room type to take which we really appreciate!! The location is so accessible!!We can reach the main tourist attractions like Xintiandi, Yuyuan and Nanjing road within 10 mins by their cab Didi and costs less than USD$3 only and the pick up and drop off point is just in front of the hotel which is so easy for us!!They even offer free popcorn and drinks and amenities like travel sunblock cream, soap, floss, body cream throughout our stay!!All of the staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and professional — always greeting us with genuine smiles and going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable such as helping us to book ******* delivery and helping us to collect our taobao parcels. Our room was spotless clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully prepared such as the toilet seat with a warm function. Every detail, from the amenities to the housekeeping, reflected the hotel’s high standards and care for guests. Special mention to the front desk team— their friendliness and helpful recommendations truly made our stay even more enjoyable. We felt so well taken care of throughout our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, highly accessible location and affordable pricing. the price of each night is only usd $70!!!!you cannot find this kind of highly rated hotel with this pricing in Shanghai!!Can’t wait to return again soon! The hotel is new and has no odor. The hardware in the room is good, the water pressure is high, and I am satisfied. The hotel entrance is next to the SUBWAY. There are restaurants around, and parking is convenient. It is about 800 meters away from Caoying Road Station on Line 17. The service is also satisfactory. Because I have to catch a flight, I need to leave at 6 am. I am especially grateful to Jason for preparing two breakfasts for me to take away and eat on the way to the airport. Recommended to stay.

The hotel lobby is luxurious and grand, with excellent facilities, making for a very prestigious check-in experience. The environment is clean and beautiful, and the rooms are super spacious and elegant. Both the front desk and floor staff were very enthusiastic and met all our requests, which is highly commendable. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich and delicious. Parking is convenient, and it's right next to Metro Line 2, with direct access to the Bund and Hongqiao Railway Station. We loved our stay and were absolutely impressed with the service at The Anandi! Shilpa and Rubina gave us their contact info and helped us with so many things. They were very patient in our requests and assistance. Rubina helped us navigate all the classes and Shilpa helped us change rooms cuz our AC was broken. Gorgeous hotel, and great food. Amazing staff and service, everyone we saw welcomed us with smiles and hand to their heart. The only complaint was the AC didn’t work out first night so it was hot for me. But we enjoyed the hot springs and massage as well. Hope to return.

The hotel is just two steps away from Bicester Village, and there's a shuttle bus to Disney (though there's only one, first come, first served in the morning, and you need to book for the evening). Actually, there are two bus lines right outside the hotel, which is super convenient. After a tiring day of fun, taking a bath back at the hotel was so relaxing – a perfect weekend! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and considerate, and they were also very capable of coordinating with different departments to quickly resolve any issues for guests, allowing us to rest sooner and making our entire trip very smooth and enjoyable!

The architecture and nature blend seamlessly, truly like stepping into a Jiangnan garden-style paradise~ Inside, the delightful surprises continued 🎉. From the floral arrangements to the calligraphy and displays, an elegant ambiance permeates every corner 🍵. You can even experience scripture copying, calming your mind with ink and brush – a truly unique cultural charm that, if you know, you know! The garden view outside the window is breathtakingly beautiful, making your heart flutter. Sipping tea and enjoying the scenery, it's truly the epitome of slow living 🍃. The room features an extra-large bathtub perfect for a relaxing soak, and they even provide two different kinds of bath products. Shanghai Disney Resort Shanghai|23.52km from city center
I used to stay in high-star hotels, but in recent years I have booked homestays when I come to Disneyland. I have a better understanding of the overall situation of the surrounding homestays. The bosses are all people who love life, the staff are relatively enthusiastic, and the room types are relatively unique, but the circle of time still gave us a surprise: 1. The staff's night shift is really ”night”. We arrived late, and they were still waiting for us at midnight. For several days, we left WeChat messages at one or two in the morning. They were surprised and answered questions as they came. On the first day, Shanghai was only more than ten degrees. If we wanted a quilt, we gave it to them. If we wanted to turn on the air conditioner for heating, we turned on the air conditioner. We also told us that if we needed to order takeout, the staff would wait... When the weather changed, they should have helped us collect the clothes that were hung out to dry (when we returned to the room at night, the clothes were returned to the room from the balcony, thank you 🙏) 2. Very friendly to children and pets. We brought many children with us (other guests also brought pets), and we were often afraid of disturbing others when traveling, but here we can let them go completely, safe, practical, and natural (only parents who travel with children carefully can understand this feeling) 3. The environment is very good, with an independent small courtyard, an independent restaurant, a book bar, lawn, swimming pool, small animals, etc. open 24 hours a day in the courtyard. The surrounding area is also very quiet. The boss also thoughtfully arranged a moonlit night barbecue and fireworks for children. The barbecue skewers are great! 4. Breakfast is already very rich in B&Bs, with porridge, corn, sweet potatoes, milk, buns, eggs, fruits, pickles, calculated by person, and you can add more if you need it; If you want to be picky, of course there are some small problems that B&Bs may have, such as some small facilities such as hangers are a bit loose, and idle furnishings cannot be bright and new all the time. Guests who choose B&Bs cannot be evaluated by the standards of five-star hotels. Finally, I want to say that I chatted with the staff in my spare time and learned that they have a small number of people and a high work intensity, working day and night shifts (in fact, there are many conscientious people in every industry), and they really love the B&B business! If you have the passion to do a job, you may be able to do what others cannot do in a short time; but if you love a job and do it, what kind of work status can you achieve over a long period of time? You can only feel it if you come here.

The hotel room facilities are good, with everything that should be there. The smoking area outside is also very beautiful. The breakfast in the morning is very good, it is self-service, and there are freshly made noodles to eat. If you are thirsty, you can go downstairs at any time to have some drinks and fruits, which are all included in the hotel package. Why the deduction? Like many reviews wrote, the water in the pool here is really too hot. It is the hottest of all the hot springs in Shanghai that I have been to. It feels too hot. I saw that several children could hardly soak in the water for a while. I don’t know why so many people complained. I saw that the management was still saying in the comments that it met the hot spring temperature requirements. What they said is that your water is too hot, and they are giving you suggestions. Everyone in the hot spring said that the water was hot, not that you violated any regulations... It takes talent to reply like this

Recent TOP It feels like living in a small forest. The housekeeper service is considerate. When we arrived in the evening, the main valve was already opened. Hot soup was served directly into the courtyard. They also recommended nearby attractions and food. The B&B has its own bicycles, kayaks, and rowing boats. There is no mandatory time limit. One boat is only 100 per time. If you book in advance, you can also be sent to the vicinity of Disneyland. The furry waiters at the B&B are also very cute 😄 The price-performance ratio is full. Two days and one night are perfect. I will come again next time!

Five-star recommendation! This family stay was incredibly reassuring. The rooms are modern, the bedding is super soft, and the smart devices are cleverly hidden – lights and A/C can all be controlled via phone, making them very convenient to use. Our stay at the hotel was absolutely outstanding a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and truly personal service. The room was beautifully designed, spacious, and spotless, with every detail thoughtfully prepared to ensure complete comfort. Everything felt intentional from the soft bed and soothing lighting to the fragrance and elegant décor. It’s clear that the hotel takes great pride in creating an atmosphere that feels both premium and warm. The Executive Lounge was a true highlight. Calm, elegant, and filled with high-quality food and drinks throughout the day. Spending our evenings there, overlooking the stunning city skyline with a glass of wine or coffee, was an unforgettable experience. Breakfast was simply exceptional a rich selection of fresh, delicious dishes, beautifully presented and constantly replenished. From made-to-order eggs to fresh pastries, fruits, cheeses, and juices every item was top quality. The staff made sure each morning started in the best way possible. But what truly made our stay special was the human touch. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to William and Judy, two incredible team members who went above and beyond for us. William, whom we met every evening, was always professional, kind, and genuinely caring. He made sure everything was perfect for us and always checked that we were comfortable and happy. His positive attitude and attentiveness made every encounter a pleasure. Judy, who greeted us every morning, was equally amazing warm, attentive, and full of energy. She personally ensured we had everything we needed and that our mornings started with a smile. Both William and Judy even shared their personal contact numbers with us, offering help at any time, which is rare and deeply appreciated. It was touching to see how much they cared about our well-being and enjoyment. We always looked forward to seeing Judy in the mornings and William in the evenings they truly made us feel at home. The hotel’s location is perfect central, convenient, and surrounded by the vibrant heart of Shanghai. We will definitely return and recommend Radisson Blu Shanghai New World to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming stay. Train Station Area Shanghai|2.4km from city center
In the cluster of hotels in Shanghai's core area, what truly sets Pullman Shanghai Jing'an apart isn't just its 'convenience,' but its precise balance between 'frequent travel needs' and ' understated luxury and relaxation.' It's like a discerning old friend: never showy, yet always hitting the right note at every critical juncture. The hotel's location is supremely convenient, a 'hub-level' accessibility. It's a 5-10 minute walk to Shanghai Railway Station and a 3-minute connection to the subway. Whether you're catching an early high-speed train or returning after a night out on the Bund, there's no need to rush. Yet, the moment you step into the lobby, the city's hustle and bustle fade away. The understated luxurious decor, paired with vibrant greenery, avoids excessive flair, instead using perfect lighting and a delightful aroma to instantly relax you. The most pleasant surprise is the 'granularity' of the service: the concierge can arrange shipping for forgotten items for guests who have already checked out, and the front desk service is warm and efficient. This unforced attentiveness feels warmer than standardized service. The rooms are an example of 'practical sophistication': floor-to-ceiling windows invite the city skyline in, the bedding is soft yet supportive, and it offers both a full-sized desk for business travelers and connecting room options essential for families. Even the sofa in executive suites can be converted into an extra bed free of charge, revealing a thoughtful consideration for different guest demographics in every detail. The leisure area on the 6th floor is a hidden gem: a 28℃恒温 swimming pool with the Jing'an skyline visible through floor-to-ceiling windows. In the evening, the golden sunset reflects on the water, creating stunning, high-quality photos effortlessly. The 24-hour gym ensures exercise is never a chore. It lacks the gimmicks of 'influencer hotels' but, through a profound understanding of the 'essence of travel and living,' it enables business travelers to be efficient and stress-free, families to be comfortable and at ease, and solo travelers to find a sense of relaxation. In Jing'an, where every inch of land is precious, a hotel that 'understands needs and offers warmth' truly is the premier choice for accommodation.

Who knew?! Choosing the right hotel in Shanghai made my trip even more memorable than the attractions themselves! I stayed at The Blossom House Yu Garden for 2 nights, and from the moment I stepped in until I left, the surprises just kept coming~ ✅As soon as I arrived, a staff member proactively helped with my luggage, and I was greeted with smiles every time I entered or exited. They even discreetly upgraded my room during check-in – my goodwill towards them was instantly maximized! The room was incredibly comfortable, spacious, bright, and full of thoughtful design – a bronze-yellow petal-shaped door, a budding flower elevator door, and even large floral decorations in the room. It felt like living in a flowing floral feast. Fresh fruit was provided daily for both nights of my stay, and the hot water for showers at night was super abundant. Coming back after a long day, it was incredibly therapeutic. 🍃Breakfast was a delightful blend of Chinese and Western cuisine! Freshly cooked scallion oil noodles with braised toppings, authentic Shanghai soup dumplings, and plenty of Western salads, desserts, and coffee. Sitting in the restaurant, I could even gaze at the Bund's 'Three Sisters' (Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, Jin Mao Tower) plus the Oriental Pearl TV Tower from afar. Eating while enjoying the view was just too pleasant. 🪭The most amazing part was the evening! The hotel offered travel photography and intangible cultural heritage handicrafts. I chose the Yu Garden night tour, and the staff patiently explained the humanities and history along the way, which was far more interesting than just wandering around by myself~ The location is superb, too. The Bund, Yu Garden, and Chenghuang Temple are all within walking distance, so there's no need to rush when exploring, eating, and taking photos! 🎉There are many more details worth mentioning〰️ for example, the bathroom cups were clean and sparkling, the in-room fruit was fresh and juicy, and the mini-bar drinks were complimentary.

This is about my stay at a national heritage hotel in Shanghai. I came to dine at Ling Long and decided to stay here. It is a 4th batch National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit. The former Cathay Hotel occupied its 4th floor and above. Interestingly, the 15-meter-high ground floor facing the street was not originally part of the Cathay Hotel. (Across the street was the former Palace Hotel, where Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Mei-ling held their engagement banquet. In 1956, it merged with the Cathay Hotel to form the Peace Hotel. This building is now leased by Swatch, with the lease until 2037.) The Peace Hotel North Building is now only accessible to staying and dining guests, which significantly improves the experience. I could occasionally capture photos of the lobby completely empty. The Deluxe City View Room was overall just okay. The highlights were definitely the bed and the welcome fruit. The complimentary bottled water was also a nice touch. The shampoo and shower gel were of average quality, but the Le Labo soap was excellent. Soundproofing was poor. I could hear children yelling next door and girls laughing. In the bathroom, the gushing sound of water from the floor above was audible. The air conditioning also had a loud airflow. I'd advise insomniacs to bring noise-canceling headphones. Surprisingly, the TV was hidden in a cabinet, making you crane your neck to watch it. During turndown service, the attendant actually had to open the cabinet door and angle the TV towards the bed. I was quite taken aback by this. Turndown service was also nothing special. There was a hair left in the bathtub drain. I explored the hotel a bit. My favorite parts were the green-tiled staircase and the gym. The gym was very well-equipped, featuring a yoga room and a swimming pool. Sweat towels were conveniently placed by the treadmills, and lemon water and fruit were readily available. You could even borrow Bluetooth headphones. I was very satisfied with this aspect. I spent half an hour stretching with 4-pound dumbbells, and I had the entire gym to myself – pure bliss! The Jazz Bar was quite small. The museum was also small and lacked significant exhibits. During the guided tour, there was an enthusiastic hard sell for various items: first mooncakes, then paid tours, followed by wedding venues, and finally hotel souvenirs. It was the first time I'd seen such aggressive selling during a hotel tour; it was ridiculous. The 'Nine Nations Suites' were heavily promoted everywhere. Our room even had brochures detailing which celebrities and 'traffic stars' (influencers) had stayed in each suite. I found this a bit undignified. In the lobby, there was a purple crystal peace dove. Upon closer inspection, it was quite an eyesore. (If you think my taste is questionable, then you're probably right.) My overall impression after staying here is that the hotel, resting on its immense reputation, lacks the motivation to improve. Once it meets the average standard for its category, it stops striving to provide better service. It doesn't even seem concerned with how to better leverage its rich historical and cultural heritage. Its limited physical space is an objective constraint, but its complacent attitude is the subjective issue. It's genuinely disappointing. Overall 4 stars. The gym adds an extra 0.5 stars.

Here's a review of my stay: 🏨 **Room Type:** Imperial Club Deluxe Twin Room **Size:** 64 sq m **Floor:** 9th floor 📆 **Check-in Date:** Saturday, October 25, 2025 (one night) 🌃 **View:** Both the living room and bedroom windows face the Huangpu River. There's a bit of distance, but it offers a strong sense of depth, and you can watch the boats go by. The sunset was absolutely beautiful, with the sky looking like it had been ripped open, revealing a burst of vibrant colors. 🌆 **Surroundings:** Directly across the street is IFC Mall, and next door is Super Brand Mall. Shopping and dining options are incredibly convenient. 💳 **Price:** 2982.24 (includes breakfast for three) 🛏️ **Bedding:** This is what I love most about Shangri-La. My child is 14, and by booking a room with a sofa, you can request a free sofa bed setup. It's much larger than an extra rollaway bed and doesn't cost anything extra. 🚽 **Bathroom:** There's what looks like a bidet next to the toilet, but I didn't know how to use it and didn't dare to try. The bathtub is very long. There are two sinks. The bathroom connects to the walk-in closet on one side and the bedroom on the other. When I first checked in, I kept getting confused and walking into the wrong room, but once I got used to it, it was very convenient. 📖 **Desk:** There are two long desks, one in the living room and one in the bedroom (which seems to be a vanity, but it works). This comfortably accommodates two people working or studying simultaneously, so three people wouldn't feel cramped. 📺 **TV:** There are two TVs. 🏋️ **Gym** 🏊♂️ **Pool:** Available

Stayed here for a business trip after returning from Japan, specifically because it's part of the Okura group. The service, though... I'd say it was non-existent. Every suited man standing in the lobby had an air of superiority, and the female staff at the lobby bar were completely indifferent. No one greeted anyone. The only thing that felt Japanese was the compact room, haha. The breakfast looked like it had variety but wasn't tasty. Maybe this is just Shanghai – whether you pay 8k or 1k, the attitude is the same.

First time staying at Kempinski hotels. Had imagined to be on a more luxurious hotel. Kempinski The One can improve on their property finishing to make it more feel like staying in luxurious hotels. The room we stayed in had smoke sensors covered in plastic and that should be illegal practice. Apart from that, mirror already had internal stain & walls are chips. Staff on the other hand were welcoming but can also be improvised to make guests feel welcomed and look after as VIP. Staff should proactively approach guests in lobby and ask if there is anything they could assist/not just standing behind desk waiting to be asked.

The hotel location is very good, very close to the Bund facilities are perfect, there are free laundry and gym, near the hotel 100 meters there is a 24-hour nucleic acid point is very convenient. The hotel room was quite new and large, and the hotel also had free snacks and fruit. The front desk, Xiao Ding and Xiao Deng, served us well, added WeChat and helped upgrade the room, The problem was resolved in a timely manner. Excellent review. We will continue to enjoy it next time we get a chance. It was a very happy experience. Since we are foreigners, we didn't speak the language, but the staff was kind enough to help us with the problem. We stayed for a family of eight, We arrived late, and the girl at the front desk was very enthusiastic to help us with our queries. Most pleasantly, there was a small bar on the 16th floor which was very quiet, with songs and a night view. There was also a lot of Chinese and Western breakfasts. Overall, staying at this hotel will not disappoint.

The Sukhothai is my top choice for both business and family trips to Shanghai. I remember staying there shortly after it opened, and now I've been a loyal guest for several years. This time, I traveled with my child, and I specifically requested two connecting rooms. The front desk service was incredibly nice, preparing Thai desserts, chocolates, and children's toiletries for my little one. The hotel is conveniently located right next to HKRI Taikoo Hui, with direct elevator access. The Old Jesse restaurant nearby is also delicious. In short, I'll definitely keep staying here. It always feels very safe and reassuring.

The hotel boasts a prime location, with the Pearl River View rooms offering the absolute best Bund river views – encompassing the iconic 'Pearl Trio' (Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jin Mao Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center) and a fantastic C-shaped bend of the Bund that combines both. The rooms are elegant and minimalist, with the double sinks being a particularly nice touch. Note that the hotel has two buildings, so pay attention to the room type when booking if you want a river view. The hotel staff are professional and attentive. On the morning of our check-in, we received a call asking about our arrival time and any special requests, and they arranged a high-floor room for us, which was excellent! Despite the hotel being quite busy, the front desk and concierge handled everything efficiently and smoothly. When we accidentally took the wrong elevator after breakfast, a hotel employee inside quickly assisted us. Our room attendant, Anna, also provided excellent service throughout our stay. Surprisingly, the breakfast was outstanding – incredibly rich and varied, with Chinese, Western, and Japanese options. The Western dishes, in particular, were delicious. This stay was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely bring my family here next time.

During the busy National Day holiday, the hotel maintained a steady and orderly reception for every guest. A special thanks to Niko at the front desk; he was dedicated, prompt, and highly efficient in checking us in. This was the first time I've ever completed check-in as early as 12 PM – at other five-star hotels, you often can't even check in before 2 PM. Although there was a long line of cars at the entrance, the concierge was always there to assist us with taxis, which was incredibly thoughtful for someone traveling with kids ☺️. The customer service staff (auntie) was also very responsive; any feedback we had was handled efficiently. When the breakfast staff (auntie) learned that my child had an early competition, she quickly directed us to a table conveniently close to the food. Honestly, every single interaction showcased the dedication of each hotel employee. We will definitely be back! Thank you, and I appreciate every staff member at the hotel! 🥳

My kid fell in love with plane spotting, and we stumbled upon this hidden gem of a hotel. I specifically booked an executive room with a runway view, and being able to watch planes take off and land from bed was simply amazing. He stayed by the window, while I relaxed. No rushing around, no baking in the sun – it felt like a true vacation. We got more great shots than we did during three days at Baiyun Airport. An unexpected surprise was how good the breakfast was; I thought airport hotels usually had mediocre food, but this was excellent. The afternoon tea and evening happy hour at the executive lounge were also perfect for a light meal, and the view of the planes was fantastic.

A Heartfelt Birthday Stay Filled with Warmth and Grace From the very beginning, this stay at The PuLi Hotel and Spa felt truly special. Before my arrival, I had written an email mentioning that it would be my birthday. To my surprise, I received a beautifully written reply from Jason—so genuine, poetic, and full of grace. His words alone already made me feel deeply welcomed and cherished. When I arrived, I was astonished to find that I had been complimentarily upgraded to a suite, complete with a lovely birthday cake and two handwritten cards prepared by Belle, a sweet college intern. Her warmth and sincerity truly touched me. At one point, I jokingly asked for extra bath amenities because I loved their scent so much. The front desk, realizing how much I liked them, surprised me by sending a generous selection of them to my room, beautifully packaged with care. I was both touched and a little shy — it felt like they could read my heart. Everything about this stay—from the thoughtful details to the effortless kindness—reflected a rare kind of hospitality that comes from the heart, not from routine. To Jason, for your poetic kindness; To Belle, for your genuine warmth; and to The PuLi team, for making my birthday and reunion so unforgettable— thank you, from the bottom of my heart. This will always remain one of the most beautiful hotel memories of my life. 💛

Pudong International Airport Area

The hotel provided fast pick-up from Pudong Airport (reserved using WeChat). It took us over an hour to clear immigration, and the driver patiently waited for us. It’s about a 20-minute drive north from PVG to the hotel, which is less than average for hotels in the airport area. The hotel is located in a very quiet, peaceful, and quaint resort. Although we could see airplanes approaching from the northeast, preparing for landing, we didn’t hear any airplane noise while in the room. The hotel’s architecture is very unique. If you appreciate traditional Chinese Hui-style architecture, you’ll love the artistic and exquisite buildings with beautiful wood carvings. You’ll see courtyards with ponds, winding corridors, small bridges, and a river on the hotel property. Additionally, the resort features a lake with some water activities. It took my husband and me half an hour to stroll around the resort property. The walk was very relaxing and peaceful! The staff have been very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Our room is on the second level with no elevator, and the two front desk ladies helped us carry one checked bag upstairs. They are so awesome! I have a sensitive sense of smell and noticed that the bedding didn’t smell as nice as I would like. After asking the staff to change to a new set of bedding, they happily accommodated my request, even though it was a bit late in the evening, around 8 PM. The housekeeping lady was also very professional, warm, and helpful. She even tried to help me fix the door lock. It didn’t affect my ability to use the privacy chain to lock the door, so I told the front desk to resolve the door lock issue after we checked out. Their breakfast is one of the best I’ve experienced at a hotel in China, with many meat and vegetarian options. They even have vegetarian buns! The kitchen also provides freshly made wontons and noodles upon request. So delicious! Our checkout was supposed to be before 2 PM, but due to our departure flight delay, we had to stay at the hotel for another two hours. The manager offered to waive the late checkout fee for us. The hotel also offers airport drop-off upon reservation. There is no restaurant in the hotel; however, there’s an independently run restaurant in the resort, which is only a 2-minute walk from the hotel buildings. Although the hotel accepts foreign credit cards, this independent restaurant wasn’t able to accept my Alipay (linked to a foreign Visa credit card), and they didn’t accept foreign credit cards either. My relative in China ended up using the QR code provided by the restaurant and paid for me online. Given the hotel’s close proximity to the airport and its excellent service and environment, I would definitely recommend it to others and would return in the future.

Avoiding the autumn tourist rush and weekend crowds, choosing a weekday to enjoy Legoland was the smartest decision we've made recently. In the tranquil park, every step was delightful, and every sight was a surprise. 👩 Mommy's Mini Utopia: The moment we stepped into 'Miniland,' it felt like falling into a miniature painting of an ideal world. Every landscape, every detail, was so exquisitely crafted it made you hold your breath. And the breakfast at the Lego-themed restaurant unexpectedly comforted a 'Shanghai palate' – a taste both familiar and novel. 👨 Daddy's Highlight: Here, every adult is allowed to be a child again. My luck at the game stalls was on fire, as if fortune was especially favoring me, and I won so many prizes I could barely carry them all. Indeed, men are boys until the day they die, and that proved true. 👦 Niu Niu's Dream Come True: Today, I officially 'passed' my Lego driving test! The 4D movie was so spectacular it made all my senses dance. Oh, and Mom and Dad – please keep working hard! Next time, we definitely have to stay in that super cool Fire Station themed hotel again! Today, we weren't just moving bricks; we were building happiness. ✌️✌️✌️

Finally, my long-awaited stay at this guesthouse came true! From eagerly anticipating it in winter to actually experiencing it in summer, the reality surpassed all my expectations, filling me with immense joy. Every little detail at the guesthouse was a delightful surprise. The exquisite snacks waiting for us upon check-in were the first warm welcome. In the evenings, a comforting goodnight tea, accompanied by soft lighting, gently relaxed our tired bodies and minds. The abundant breakfast each morning felt like a true gift from nature. Even the stylish shower curtain in the bathroom, simple yet elegant, was perfectly charming and thoughtful. Despite being embraced by a natural ecosystem where 'little creatures' might be expected, the guesthouse environment was exceptionally well-maintained. We didn't find a single mosquito or insect in our room, which is truly remarkable for such a natural setting. My child was particularly captivated by the little frogs, who merrily hopped along the path to the pool and around the courtyard. Peering out the window, their eyes sparkled with a pure, unadulterated love for nature. In that moment, I felt like I was looking at my younger self, brimming with a desire to explore the world. On our second day, my brother decided to make pizza in the guesthouse kitchen. What started as a playful experiment turned into an astonishing culinary success! The pizza was incredibly delicious; even my brother, who usually shies away from pizza, couldn't stop at three slices! It wasn't just good because he made it; it was genuinely fantastic. And despite being an amateur effort, it was absolutely authentic. The owner had been burning lychee wood charcoal, specially transported from Guangzhou, since early morning. Paired with the kitchen's homemade tomato and onion sauce, the aroma was simply irresistible, making our mouths water. I am determined to visit this guesthouse in all four seasons to fully appreciate its distinct charm throughout the year. In spring, it might be adorned with wildflowers, the air heavy with the scent of damp earth. Summer would offer lush shade and the soothing symphony of cicadas, an ideal escape from the heat. Autumn would transform the paths into a golden tapestry of fallen leaves, like a scene from a fairytale. And in winter, perhaps blanketed in snow, it would resemble a tranquil ink wash painting. Regardless of the season, this place is destined to be a sanctuary for the soul.

The curtains of the Starry Sky Room we booked were drawn so that we could not see the sky at all, and there was no view at all outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. In addition, the boss personally picks up Disney to play, just send a message on WeChat in advance, and the attitude is also very good.

The boss is very nice, very nice. I’ve said the important thing twice. The environment is very quiet, the price is not expensive, and the boss personally provides Disney services. The price/performance ratio is definitely the best in the surrounding area. Many B&Bs in the surrounding area say they provide it, but in fact they let you work. Second bus, this is delivered by the boss himself in a private car. By the way, boss, I also have a Jitu Express, which is arriving today. Please check it at the front desk and pick it up later. Thank you, boss.

The room size was decent, and the bathroom was clean. However, the smart toilet kept beeping every now and then at night, and I didn't bother reporting it. The room also came with a small private yard. The room decor isn't the newest and deviates slightly from the pictures, but it's not a deal-breaker. The breakfast was filling, and there's a friendly white cat that exposes its belly to everyone. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Disneyland.

The hotel is quite spacious with excellent amenities. The front desk staff, especially the lady at reception, provided fantastic service. She upgraded us to a family room and, knowing we had an early start for Disneyland the next day, even packed us breakfast to go. I'm very satisfied with my choice of hotel this time!

The environment is very good, because I felt a bit biased at the beginning of the late trip, but the navigation positioning was very accurate. It was actually very easy to find there. The layout is very warm, the proprietress is really very good, before going to send me a guide! I also asked the time in advance for us to book a car. The weather was cold and we cooked red dates for us to drink. It was really good. It was very tired at night and it was a bit cold. I was very happy to drink hot water when I came back! The room is duplex, so the space is quite large, the sanitation is very clean, the bedside and other places are not gray, and the room has always been heated. This time I went to Disney to experience it very well. If there is a chance, I will book it again next time!
