The hotel's overall ambiance is quite unique. All rooms are scenic with floor-to-ceiling windows, and access to each floor is secure with a key card. The Adventure Park next door is fun to explore, though it's quite cold this time of year. The evening light and water show, drone show, and even the water curtain show in the hotel lobby are all definitely worth seeing. A special shout-out to Bruce, our butler, who was incredibly helpful! He contacted us via WeChat before check-in to confirm details, and during our stay, his reminders, arrangements, and care were very thoughtful and timely. Many thanks to him! The hotel management feels very organized and efficient. For instance, even with a large crowd at the buffet breakfast, the staff were diligent and responsible, ensuring food was replenished, guests were seated, and dishes were cleared – everything was well-ordered. This truly reflects their high standard of management. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

The front desk staff were so thoughtful, even providing a guide to local eateries. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!”,”The room was even more spacious than the photos indicated. This is our re-visit of the hotel. I don’t know why, but it just felt homey instantly (usually it will take me a night to get used to the room), it’s just comfortable with peaceful ambiance and soft lighting. The breakfast was amazing and it really helped to start our day in a pleasant way! We also had a pleasant interaction with the room-service robot who delivered bottle water to our room twice 😄 You just had to try it!!! too bad I couldn’t hug the robot 😄 I also like the Hotel’s good and combined use of technology and human service. I called from the room to ask for bottle water, and it was answered by a lady who said they will send a Robot to deliver. (In another hotel, I also made a call from the room with a small request, but it was an auto answer where you had to talk to a machine and dial the numbers when prompted, which often ended in frustration). Other than that, just one suggestion, I thought the quality of the toiletries and slippers provided could be better compared to the peer hotels, yea, especially for the slippers, they felt too synthetic compared to the slippers from the other two hotels I stayed at during this travel. Overall, great stay, pleasant experience and will revisit!

This hotel is perfectly suited to my taste. The lobby is predominantly decorated in black and red, with even the glass panels featuring a red tint. The lobby area is incredibly spacious, boasting many distinct seating zones, which made me feel like I could spend an entire day just lounging there. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a large shopping mall, MixC City, offering a wide array of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Plus, it's just a few subway stops from either the train station or the airport. Getting to the hotel from Ziteng Road Metro Station: exit and enter the shopping mall through its main illuminated entrance. For the most straightforward path, *before* you reach the pedestrian street of the metro commercial area, follow the signs to take the elevator up to the second floor. From there, walk through the parking lot between Buildings A and B, and you'll arrive directly at the hotel, with no stairs to navigate. Overall, I feel the hotel's marketing efforts are insufficient. This hidden gem truly deserves to be discovered by more people.

The hotel is conveniently located near Nanjing Street, making it easy to get around and explore the area. There is a convenience store close by, which is very handy for quick purchases. For Muslim travelers, there is a halal restaurant nearby called Nizam, which is a big plus. The room was quite small and really only suitable for sleeping. The walls are not soundproof, so noise can be an issue—light sleepers may find it uncomfortable. Overall, it’s an okay option for a short stay if location is your priority

During the off-peak May Day holiday, the first choice for an outing to Sheshan is Kaiyuan Mingting! The hotel lobby is spacious and bright, the front desk Xiaoqian is warm and thoughtful, the check-in procedure is efficient and convenient, and the business king room with a large terrace is upgraded for free. The room is clean and comfortable. When I saw the children, I took the initiative to provide children's supplies. There are many plugs in the room, which is very convenient. The network speed is also very fast. It is suitable for business and parents. The hotel is next to Qingpu Sam's Club, which is very convenient for shopping. It takes 20 minutes to drive to Sheshan Forest Park. Overall, the overall experience exceeded expectations, and I will choose here next time!

Shanghai Disney Resort Shanghai|21.83km from city center
I finally checked off this Japanese-style hotel near Disney that I'd had my eye on for ages. Though a friend's 4,000-yuan experience almost put me off, I couldn't resist the prime location and decided to book it. Overall, the facilities are top-notch and transportation is super convenient, making it a great choice in the area. However, the noticeable gaps in Japanese-style service were truly a shame, and I sincerely hope this hotel, with such a good hand, can continue to improve. First, let's praise its undeniable strengths – it's an absolute champion for getting around. The location is perfect; it's right across the street from Bicester Village, and there are two great options for getting to Disney Town: a fun and convenient 15 yuan/person boat ride, or a super budget-friendly 1 yuan/person Route 1 bus. Whichever you choose, it's hassle-free. The hardware is also very impressive, with high-end materials and facilities. The rooms and public areas are clean and tidy, making for a very reassuring stay. The water dispenser at the front desk, similar to Huazhu Hotels, was a thoughtful touch. Although the hotel's own Gokurakuyu hot spring isn't professional-grade, with only two indoor and two outdoor clear water pools, it's just right for soothing tired muscles after a day of fun and relaxation. The 398 yuan price for a back scrub is also completely acceptable when compared to a five-star hotel spa. However, some downsides of the experience definitely left an impression. The room design had quite a few inconvenient aspects. The ladder for the bunk bed in the family room took up a lot of space, and it was really awkward to grab things from the bedside table on the lower bunk. Luckily, a sofa somewhat made up for it. My parents' standard room was even worse; the tatami height was completely unergonomic. To use it properly, you had to kneel or stand, when a sofa in that empty corner would have been much more practical. The most disappointing thing, though, was the so-called Japanese service that didn't live up to its name. After 10 PM, the hotel had no food available, not even room service. If you were hungry, your only option was a 15 yuan cup of noodles. In all my hotel stays in Shanghai, this was a first – I didn't even encounter this during the pandemic. The staff's service levels were also inconsistent. The cleaning uncle was diligent and responsible, and the hot spring auntie was warm and thoughtful, but the young service staff in the breakfast area really lacked professionalism. Ten people stood in a row with no initiative or awareness, and their communication and proactive service were non-existent, which significantly detracted from the experience. Even more absurd, the guest rooms didn't come with combs. There were plenty available in the bathhouse, so putting an individually packaged comb in the room would have been a simple gesture. Such an oversight in detail is truly unacceptable. After staying, my biggest takeaway is that guests are never a demanding bunch. What we want isn't some 'bowing service,' but rather thoughtful care that makes us feel understood and valued. It's about remembering small preferences, preparing suitable pillow heights in advance, efficient communication when we're in a hurry, flexibility for special requests, and most importantly, an attitude of promptly improving when issues arise. This kind of invisible, thoughtful service, though harder to implement, is what truly retains guests. I have to say, this hotel has an unparalleled location and a good foundation in its hardware, making it a prime choice near Disney. I sincerely hope the hotel addresses these issues, improves its service details, and doesn't let a good hand go to waste. I look forward to my next visit, hoping to see a more attentive and improved version of it.

The hotel room facilities are good, with everything that should be there. The smoking area outside is also very beautiful. The breakfast in the morning is very good, it is self-service, and there are freshly made noodles to eat. If you are thirsty, you can go downstairs at any time to have some drinks and fruits, which are all included in the hotel package. Why the deduction? Like many reviews wrote, the water in the pool here is really too hot. It is the hottest of all the hot springs in Shanghai that I have been to. It feels too hot. I saw that several children could hardly soak in the water for a while. I don’t know why so many people complained. I saw that the management was still saying in the comments that it met the hot spring temperature requirements. What they said is that your water is too hot, and they are giving you suggestions. Everyone in the hot spring said that the water was hot, not that you violated any regulations... It takes talent to reply like this

Stayed here with some friends for a staycation. I stayed in the majiang room while my friends stayed in the regular room. Regular rooms were much cleaner and more comfortable, whereas the majiang room was a little dusty, had a lingering smell, and did not have a hairdryer. The Japanese style flooring and furnishings in the regular rooms were very cosy and atmospheric, but in the majiang room, the large ceiling space made it feel a bit bleak, the furniture was mismatched, and the decor nonexistent, it felt a bit like I was in a divorced uncle's garage. Majiang table and underfloor heating worked well, however, and we still had a pleasant stay. Location, right by Chuansha old town, was perfect for a staycation, with all the charm of a small town but the convenience of still being in Shanghai. I found the hotspring to be clean and pleasant, but a little underwhelming. Only two small pools, both at 37°c, would have preferred to have a hotter option and other facilities such as salt scrub or sauna. It was still nice enough, just not a highlight of the stay. Overall it was a comfortable stay. The facilities are very basic, but fine. It was a nice escape from the bustle of central Shanghai.

Just got back from a spontaneous girls' trip and can't wait to share this gem of a guesthouse in Duntou Village, Jinhui Town, Fengxian District, Shanghai – Feiyun Island Hidden Hot Spring and Island! Our group of five just wanted a place to relax, chat, and take some photos, but this guesthouse completely exceeded our expectations. The environment was absolutely stunning; every corner of the century-old house was photogenic. The breakfast was exquisite and delicious. We made sachets, wrote ”Fu” characters and couplets, and copied the Heart Sutra – it felt like we were young again! Each guesthouse suite had a private hot spring bath, which was so relaxing. We had dinner at their ”Ganfu” restaurant, which was delicious and refined; they even added some freshly grown, frost-kissed greens for us! I must especially praise their water golf! This was definitely the highlight of our trip. The course is situated on a clear lake, offering a very spacious feel. It was the first time for any of us, and we were initially worried about not knowing how to play. However, a professional and handsome young coach patiently guided us, explaining everything from gripping the club to the swing in great detail. The whole process was filled with screams and laughter – incredibly relaxing! Watching the ball trace arcs across the water felt like all my worries flew away. The sport is also incredibly elegant; the videos and photos I took were very stylish, and I've already garnered countless likes and inquiries on social media. The guesthouse service was also exceptionally attentive. A special thank you to Lanlan at the front desk; she was warm, helpful, and even took photos for me. Overall, it was a perfect experience! It's ideal for groups of friends, couples, or families, offering a relaxing and comfortable environment with unique and fun activities. We've already made plans to come back!

The front desk staff were warm and helpful during check-in and check-out, making for a pleasant experience. The room cards have a sleek design with a matte, non-slip backing that feels good to the touch. We were given two cards, which was convenient for separate entry and exit, and the power-saving card was already inserted in the room, so no extra steps were needed. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, with separate Chinese and Western sections that you could choose from freely. However, the two sections were a bit far apart, requiring a walk back and forth if you wanted to get items from both. We booked an Executive Bund View King Room (on floors 25-30) and were assigned a corner room on the 26th floor. The room was spacious and very clean. The wardrobe had plenty of hangers, easily accommodating four outfits, and there was even space on the left for ironing. However, there were a few drawbacks: a moth flew out from behind the headboard as I approached it, some facilities seemed a bit dated, and the indoor lighting was a bit dim. Additionally, despite being called a “Bund View Room,” the window primarily faced the city, with only a small section near the TV wall offering a view of the Bund and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Furthermore, the curtain on the right side was fixed at the top and could only be pulled towards the corner, meaning the section by the TV wall couldn't be opened. To enjoy the Bund night view, I had to walk behind the curtain or manually pull it aside, which made the viewing experience somewhat inconvenient.

Ever since watching the TV series 'Blossoms Shanghai,' I've wanted to stay at the Peace Hotel in Shanghai, and this experience truly exceeded my expectations. First off, I was amazed by how many famous people have stayed here – Qian Xuesen had his wedding here, Soong Ching-ling and Soong Mei-ling got engaged here, and even Queen Elizabeth II of the UK and former US President Obama have been guests, not to mention Charlie Chaplin. On the first day, during check-in, a staff member named Alexander was incredibly detailed and passionate in his introduction. He exuded a strong sense of pride, as if he were part of something sacred and magnificent, and his confidence was truly infectious. After that, when I was shown to my room, unlike most hotels where they just lead you to the door and leave, he thoroughly explained all the features and even proactively helped me connect to the Wi-Fi, which was a very thoughtful touch. Breakfast at the Jasmine Lounge was also exceptional. While the variety wasn't extensive, every single item was delicious and exquisitely presented. My wife even declared it the best meal she's had at a five-star hotel in China. Our Ctrip package also included a performance at their renowned Jazz Bar. Normally, a single ticket with a minimum spend is 418 RMB, and for two people, it’s over 900 RMB. However, our room package on Ctrip included this, so my wife and I got to enjoy it, and it was fantastic. This is a Guinness World Record-holding jazz band, known as the oldest in the world. The performers last night had an average age of 75. My wife absolutely loved it. On the second day, we took a guided tour of the Peace Museum at 10 AM. This tour provided so much insight, revealing the hotel's rich history and numerous stories. The staff member, Xiao Wei, gave a half-hour explanation, and we learned a great deal, making us feel that this was truly a memorable and worthwhile visit.

I booked a two-day stay at this 5-star hotel through Trip.com, and its quality certainly lives up to expectations. First, let's talk about the location. It's right across the street from Exit 8 of Metro Line 2, very close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. The hotel is also directly connected to the New World Department Store, making it super convenient to get to Madame Tussauds. Next, the service. The attention to detail really showcases its high quality. Since Shanghai was quite cold in February, the hotel had already pre-heated the room, so it was wonderfully warm when I walked in. The housekeeping staff were very meticulous and responsible. From check-in to luggage storage and even the greeting at the entrance, everything was incredibly professional. In my free time, I browsed through the Radisson guide, and the content and details inside further highlighted the professionalism of the hotel's overall service. Regarding the facilities, some of them are a bit old, but it doesn't affect their functionality. The TV is indeed a bit small, which impacts the viewing experience. However, the bed was silent, and the toiletries, towels, dental kits, slippers, hairdryer, and mini-fridge were all brand new. My overall impression is that they don't cut corners on new items, and the older equipment doesn't detract from the overall experience. Because I mentioned wanting a quiet area in advance, the view from my room wasn't anything special. However, if you choose a room facing Nanjing Road or People's Park, I imagine the visual experience would be excellent. I didn't get a chance to try the bar or restaurant this trip, but I hope to experience and share them if I visit Shanghai again.

Booked this place for New Year's Eve, and it was excellent value for money. My child absolutely loved the hotel, especially the little cats in the garden. Every evening, walking past after dinner, we'd see kind people feeding them, which my child adored. We booked a suite because we had a tutor coming the next day, and the price for the suite was fantastic. Breakfast was quite crowded, and we had to queue for a bit. I initially thought there wouldn't be much variety, but it turned out to be pretty decent! The Japanese breakfast was good, though I didn't try the burdock mixed rice. They gave us a complimentary bottle of wine, which we took with us even though we don't drink. Overall, I thought it was great! On our way out, we even went to the second floor to pick up two boxes of fresh meat mooncakes. My parents really enjoyed them, but you do need to order them via a mini-program.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! You're right on a pedestrian street and next to People's Square metro station, with tons of shopping mall restaurants around, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. A special shout-out to Janet, who provided exceptional service – she was incredibly attentive, warm, thoughtful, and super responsive! The room was comfortable, the bedding clean and soft, and the view was beautiful. For this price, the quality you get is amazing value for money. Conrad Shanghai will definitely be my top choice for my next visit to Shanghai. Highly recommend!

Jing'an District/West Nanjing Road Shanghai|0.85km from city center
The hotel’s location is very good. It is about a 5-minute walk to a huge Starbucks, Nanjing West Road, the MRT station, and Wujiang Road, which has several nice bakeries and food options. This made getting around very convenient. There was also a 7-11 just across the road. However, the Premier Two-Bedroom Suite was disappointing for the price paid. The rooms are rather small, especially the master bedroom, where there was not enough space to place or open any luggage. We had to keep our luggage in the living room instead. The bathroom, particularly the shower area, looked very dated. The tiles appeared old and there was a musty smell, which was unpleasant. Another inconvenience was that the light switches were only on one side of the bed, making it very inconvenient to switch off the lights from the other side. The kitchenette was also very small. Cutlery was stored in a drawer above the bin, which was not ideal, and there were no extra plates provided. The tiles looked old with visible cracks, and some of the drawers were faulty. Overall, the room did not feel premium and felt overpriced for what was offered. The hotel rooms clearly need a glow-up to match the Kempinski brand and the rates charged. Additionally, the reception area was undergoing renovation, with no seating or waiting area. The pick-up and drop-off driveway is very narrow, only a small lane. When loading our luggage, we had to do so very quickly as other cars were waiting. The driveway would benefit from being more spacious. While the location is excellent, the room condition, layout, and facilities did not meet expectations for a Premier suite.

The front desk staff seemed inexperienced. When I arrived to check in, no one noticed me right away. I had to wait in line for two minutes before actively asking for assistance. (Though they seemed quite enthusiastic with foreign guests.) I redeemed points for a welcome fruit platter, but it wasn't delivered even after 10:30 PM when I returned from dinner. When I inquired, they told me I had to request it again – that it wouldn't be sent automatically. What's the point of redeeming it on the platform then? It took almost an hour after calling for my child's slippers and toothbrush to be delivered, and I had to call again after 11:30 PM to finally get them. I was already exhausted from a long flight delay at the airport due to weather, so it's hard to understand why even these small things took so long. Furthermore, they didn't even know the general directions (left or right) to the nearby W Hotel on the Bund, which indicates a lack of experience. However, the service staff in the breakfast restaurant were friendly and experienced, and the food was good – definitely recommend!

The hotel staff were incredibly attentive. There was a slight delay during check-in on New Year's Day due to a system issue, but the hotel promptly offered complimentary afternoon tea on the executive floor and completed our check-in there, which was a fantastic recovery. Kudos to their crisis management! The hotel's location is superb: a short walk from Exit 12 of Jing'an Temple Metro, just turn right. Turn left out of the hotel, cross the pedestrian overpass on Yan'an Middle Road, and you're at Jing'an Temple. The surrounding area is bustling with malls, diverse dining options, former residences of famous people, and unique exhibitions, all easily accessible by metro, bus, or on foot. I highly recommend Lailai Xiaolong at the intersection of West Beijing Road and Yuxingji Crab Roe Noodles on Yan'an Middle Road for a taste of authentic Shanghai life.

A small, design-focused luxury hotel that doesn't participate in the domestic star rating system. The decor is exquisite, and the rooms even come with yoga mats and shoehorns. The guest relations service was warm and attentive; they contacted us in advance to arrange the room, which helped us plan our itinerary in Shanghai. We had a very pleasant stay.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The room had a breathtaking view of the Bund and the 'three-piece suite' (Oriental Pearl Tower, Jin Mao Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center). The food at the Executive Lounge on the 3rd floor of the East Building was also delicious. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner were all very good. Rosten provided excellent service, and the butler, Lorna, whom he arranged for us, was exceptional. She called us in advance to confirm our room preferences and helped us secure a room. She even upgraded us to an Executive Lounge room type. Upon arrival, she helped us coordinate our room, and when we found the TV couldn't screen mirror, she brought us an extra mirroring device. She truly paid attention to our needs and helped us resolve issues. However, the service was a bit hit-or-miss. The front desk staff who checked us in not only failed to assign us the room that the butler had secured for us but also disregarded our request for a Pearl Tower view, assigning us a room in the East Building with a Bund view. Then, she self-importantly declared, ”Please trust my taste.” But a service person's taste should not outweigh a customer's needs. This front desk staff member might lack the most basic respect for customer requirements. Fortunately, after some coordination, we were able to switch to a room that met our needs, and the rest of our stay was very pleasant.

I stayed here for two nights. On the first morning, there was a bit of a snag during breakfast. I was having a breakfast meeting with a friend, and throughout the meal, staff kept asking us how many people were dining. It was quite embarrassing to be stopped at the entrance again. I had already informed them that I’d purchased executive lounge access and asked them to check with the lounge staff, but it seems there was still a communication breakdown. I also ordered room service, and the panini was cold, the bread was very dry, and the fries were also cold, so I only ate the filling. Whenever I'm in Shanghai, I always choose this hotel because it's a familiar place and everything is usually great. I hope in the future, communication with guests can be more detailed to avoid misunderstandings.

I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the famous Changzheng Hospital, literally a 2-minute walk away. Upon arrival, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and constantly smiling. The room itself was quite spacious and exceptionally clean. The mattress had a nice bouncy feel, and out of the four pillows provided, two were latex, which was a great touch. The bathroom even had a convenient rack to hang laundered clothes, and the toiletries were good quality. I was also very pleased with the central air conditioning. In the mornings, there are tons of dining options nearby, and the hotel's breakfast was also very generous. Huanghe Road, a renowned food street, is right there. The hotel was easy enough to find for a hotel the has a reception on the 4th floor and no signage out front. The location is prime for access to the pedestrian road. Lots of sightseeing and shopping in this area. Short drive to all the key tourist hotspots. Beds were comfortable, staff were great to foreigners like us, breakfast was fine. The only thing of notes was we had no luck using the dryers and resorted to hanging out our clothes in our room. But this is a minor issue and may be operator error. We would stay at the Yitel premium again.

The Wi-Fi was incredibly slow! **Location:** Just a few minutes' walk from Shanghai Railway Station and the subway, not far from the main road. There's a FamilyMart and some restaurants downstairs. **Facilities:** A proper hotel with an elevator, air conditioning, and self-service laundry. The shower had good hot water. The wooden furniture looked a bit dated but seemed durable and of good quality. It appears to have been renovated, and the renovation quality is decent. However, I have to complain about the Wi-Fi speed – it was excruciatingly slow! **Soundproofing:** Average; I could hear conversations from the next room. **Cleanliness:** Relatively clean. **Environment:** Both inside and out, it was neat and orderly. **Service:** They proactively offered a room upgrade (perhaps due to fewer guests during the off-season) and could store luggage for us. **Breakfast:** Although breakfast was included, they actually provided a 15 RMB voucher per person to use at a neighboring restaurant. You pay for what you choose, and anything over 15 RMB needs to be paid out of pocket, which felt a bit like a rip-off. However, if you plan carefully, it's manageable. The breakfast quality was relatively average, but it was available from 6:30 AM, which is convenient for early travelers.

Location: Excellent location, very close to Nanjing Road, The Bund, and East Nanjing Road Subway Station (Exit 7). Transportation / Access: The hotel has two entrances, but I highly recommend using the main road entrance as it is much easier to find. You only need to walk a short distance into the alley. Searching the hotel on Amap works perfectly—just copy the hotel name from Trip.com and it shows up right away. Very convenient. I usually returned to the hotel around 10–11 PM; the alley entrance can be a bit dark at night, but it’s a short walk and felt safe. Room: The room was very spacious with plenty of space to open large suitcases comfortably. The bathroom was also very large, clean, and had no cigarette smell at all. Amenities were complete, including a hair dryer, toothbrush, and toothpaste. I stayed on the 4th floor, and had a beautiful view of the Oriental Pearl Tower ✨ Service: Luggage storage before check-in is available. The staff were friendly and made an effort to communicate using translation apps. I stayed for 5 nights, and housekeeping cleaned the room every day, replenished tissues, and replaced bath towels, hair towels, and bath floor mats daily. Everything was very clean ✨ Cons: The room is not completely soundproof, so you may hear some light noise from outside during check-out hours. This was not a major issue and did not affect the overall pleasant stay. Price: I stayed during the Christmas and New Year period, and the price was around THB 1,9xx per night. which is great value for money. Highly recommended 😀👍🏻⭐

After landing at Pudong International Airport last night around 10 PM, it was too late to go home, so we opted for a nearby hotel that offered airport shuttle service. We hurried to catch the 11 PM shuttle. In the morning, shuttles depart for the international airport every 50 minutes past the hour. The shuttle service was quite good. However, the hotel's facilities were really subpar. We were initially given a standard room, but the shower drain was clogged. The staff kindly upgraded us to a family room. Unfortunately, the sink in the family room's bathroom caused my right thumb to bleed quite a bit because the drain stopper was so stiff and wouldn't budge. The entire room felt quite stuffy, and the hotel itself seemed old and rundown. Even the new room we were given had drainage issues... Its convenient location is a plus, and for just one night, my expectations weren't high, so the price was acceptable. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was enough to fill up. A warm bowl of congee was a nice touch too.
