Shekou Area (Nanshan District) Shenzhen|16.3km from city center
The hygiene was pretty good; the sheets and duvet were clean, with no strange objects or smells. The service was also quite good; the front desk staff had a great attitude, and the food delivery robot brought my takeout right to the door promptly. Each bed had two latex pillows and two regular pillows, which was a very thoughtful and detailed touch. However, there was no razor in my room, even though it was listed on the amenities sheet. This isn't very friendly for male guests. I'd suggest providing bathrobes in different sizes (one larger, one smaller) instead of all being the same size. Also, some other advertised services were not provided. Finally, the soundproofing of the door is almost nonexistent. I could hear the noisy corridor very clearly. I came back late after going out and wanted to sleep in the next morning, but I was woken up by a loud bang from a door across the hall early in the morning.

I had a very satisfying stay this time. The customer service, especially ANNA, was incredibly thoughtful and helped us resolve many small issues – much appreciated! The hotel's location is excellent; it's very close to Wutong Mountain, Meisha Peak, and both Dameisha and Xiaomeisha beaches. The subway is an 8-minute walk away, and the Chung Ying Street is a 10-minute walk. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby, whether you prefer takeout or dining in. The room was spotlessly clean, truly meeting a five-star standard.

Escaping the daily grind of the big city, I seized the holiday to visit Dapeng Peninsula and chose a B&B under 'The White House' brand. My four-day, three-night experience far exceeded expectations – it definitely deserves full marks! The B&B is a super stylish, pure white, Instagram-worthy building that blends perfectly with the sea and beach, making every photo-op effortless. The room's enormous floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct, first-row sea views. During the day, you can sit on the white high chairs on the balcony, watching egrets skim across the water, with distant mountains faintly visible in the clouds. As dusk settles, the sky slowly darkens, and the sea reflects the shore lights, creating an incredibly atmospheric scene. At night, falling asleep to the gentle sound of the waves guarantees a peaceful night's rest – pure vacation relaxation. I absolutely must commend Phoebe, the wonderful guy who hosted me. He was gentle, attentive, and his service was both thoughtful and patient. Even though the weather wasn't great during my stay, he proactively provided me with rain gear, thinking of every detail. Coincidentally, it was Lantern Festival, and he kindly brought me a steaming bowl of sweet glutinous rice balls (tangyuan). The soft tangyuan, with red dates and goji berries, warmed my heart, making me feel a strong festive atmosphere even away from home. The attention to detail was truly outstanding and incredibly warm. Being right by the sea, the B&B's environment is quiet and pleasant, far from the city's hustle and bustle, allowing for complete relaxation. Enjoying a beer on the terrace at night, watching the shimmering moonlight on the water, all fatigue simply melts away. The overall experience far exceeded expectations; the environment, cleanliness, and service were all impeccable. Next time I visit Nanao, I will definitely stay here again. I genuinely recommend it to anyone looking to escape the urban noise and fall asleep to the sound of ocean waves!

Booked my trip during Chinese New Year, and the front desk agent, Xiao Yang, was incredibly warm and attentive. They let me check in early after confirming with me, and even offered complimentary breakfast and a late checkout, which was very patient of them. The room had a balcony, which was a nice touch overall. The breakfast selection was a bit limited compared to other Hilton properties, and the room rate during Chinese New Year was actually double what you'd pay at Shenzhen North Station. However, the service was consistently excellent.

The location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get around. There's public transportation and a supermarket right outside, so no worries about commuting! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, and the bedding was so soft I slept like a baby. The natural light and ventilation were excellent! The facilities were complete and worked well, with plenty of hot water and stable water pressure. The front desk service was warm and attentive, check-in and check-out were super fast, and they responded promptly to any requests. The cleanliness details were impeccable, and the toiletries were high quality. This place offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

This hotel boasts a prime location right on Shennan Zhong Road. It's just a 5-minute walk to Fuxing Station on Metro Line 11, and Central Park is directly across the street. Getting to Futian High-Speed Rail Station and Huaqiangbei Electronic Market is incredibly convenient, and taxis can drop you off right at the entrance. The front desk staff, Xiao Che, was very efficient during check-in. The room itself has a simple yet elegant design with abundant natural light. The Xiaodu smart home system is a real convenience; I could control the lights, curtains, and air conditioning all by voice. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, ensuring an excellent night's sleep. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water came quickly and maintained a steady temperature. The Panpuri toiletries had a wonderfully sophisticated scent.

The location was great, very nearby Nansan station. The room was clean and the staff were warm welcoming. One problem was we could not lock the bathroom door and the bathroom door was made of glass (a lack of privacy even though we were a couple). One interesting point was how breakfast wes served.I booked a room with a breakfast, it was not a restaurant. When i got out from my room, I found packed a couple of bread hanged at doorknob of room.

This guesthouse has a great design, with a bright exterior and cheerful room colors. The front desk staff were gentle and polite, and the room was clean and hygienic. It featured floor-to-ceiling glass windows with electric blinds, and a toilet with an automatic lid, separate from the shower room. The low-lying futon-style bedding took some getting used to, and with only one chair, the room felt a bit cramped. Breakfast was a Western-style sandwich with bacon, sausage, and juice. The guesthouse is very close to the beach, just a few minutes' walk, and there are many attractions and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. Overall, I had a good experience.

So quiet and clean! The butler service was excellent! We brought our own tea set for a '圍爐煮茶' (a type of traditional tea brewing around a small stove) on the balcony, which was incredibly pleasant and comfortable. The balcony in our room had floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful views. There's also a small outdoor balcony with a lounge chair, perfect for enjoying the scenery. The fourth floor has a private kitchen offering Cantonese cuisine, which you can order directly to your room! Downstairs, there's a common area for activities. We only stayed one night, but I feel like I could easily stay for several more next time! Highly recommend!

We booked Villa No. 1, which was quite good. The overall environment is probably among the best on this beach. While it's located amidst local villagers' houses, it's very convenient, just a three to four-minute walk to the beach. Other accommodations in the area are typically just regular village homes. The service was excellent; it operates like a guesthouse with a dedicated host who goes out of their way to fulfill any needs. My only minor suggestion would be to further enhance the cleanliness and make it a bit more thorough. The room design is very warm and cozy.

Facilities & Hygiene: The hotel has been open for a while now. Even though it's been renovated, some parts do show their age, which is to be expected. However, the cleanliness is consistently good, and the rooms are generally very spacious, making for a comfortable stay. Service: The staff are very welcoming. It's been over half a year since our last stay on the executive floor. We always look forward to coming here to enjoy the executive lounge's snacks, and the breakfast offers plenty of choices. The location is superb, right in the heart of Futian CBD, just a 1-2 minute walk away. It's incredibly convenient with the bustling Huangting Plaza and Link Central shopping malls nearby, offering a wide array of food and entertainment. So, whenever we have free time, we love bringing our kids here for a wonderful weekend [applause][hug]. We really like it here; although the hotel's facilities show their age, you can still see the former grandeur and luxurious decor, with crystal chandeliers and understated, elegant wood accents. Coco Park, a beautiful indoor and outdoor shopping center with many dining options, is also just a 5-7 minute walk away. The service at this hotel is excellent 👍.

Huanggang Port and Futian Port Shenzhen|3.55km from city center
I planned a trip during the Chinese New Year and compared several hotels before finally choosing the Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhen. I was drawn to its location, and we arrived as scheduled on the fifth day of the New Year. Our group of six took a taxi from Shenzhen Bao'an Airport to the hotel, which took about half an hour. I guess there wasn't much traffic due to the holiday. Upon arrival, I noticed it's in the Futian Free Trade Zone, and Futian District is Shenzhen's city center, close to Futian Port. The hotel has a fairly large footprint. The lobby has an old-money vibe, which is understandable as it's one of Shenzhen's older five-star hotels, so it's a bit dated. We booked one Deluxe King Room and two Select Twin Rooms. The hotel is divided into an East Wing and a West Wing. The Deluxe King Room was in the East Wing, and the Select Twin Rooms were in the West Wing. It's worth noting that the two buildings are quite far apart. You can access the East Wing directly from the lobby floor, but for the West Wing, you need to take an elevator up to the 5th floor, then navigate three corridors, walking for about a minute to reach the West Wing, and then use your key card to go up to your floor. It's a bit of a trek and not a direct elevator ride. I suspect the West Wing was added later. The Deluxe Room was slightly smaller and only had a bathtub. The king bed was 1.83 meters, quite large. The Select Room, I believe, is an executive room; it was very spacious, probably around 30 square meters. The twin beds were 1.35 meters, which is good compared to the 1.2-meter beds in other hotels. The bedding was very comfortable and soft. The bathroom had a shower. Although the hardware is a bit old, the service is excellent. The soundproofing in this room is genuinely good; we stayed for four nights and didn't hear any noise. Especially the surroundings of the Select Room – it was high, spacious, and open, creating a very comfortable and un-claustrophobic environment. The cleanliness was also superb. The hotel staff were very warm and friendly; it definitely lives up to five-star service. The breakfast was standard, meeting the hotel's expected quality. If you don't include breakfast, it's 88 RMB per person for the buffet. Getting around is also very convenient. Taxis and subways are readily available, and there are plenty of shared bikes (Mobike, Ofo, etc.) nearby. We cycled around the city many times. In February, Shenzhen was already warm enough for short sleeves, making cycling very pleasant. For those going to Hong Kong, you can reach Futian Port by shared bike in 3 minutes to take the subway to Hong Kong, or take a taxi for 10 minutes to Futian Station (Gate 12A) and take the high-speed rail for 14 minutes to Hong Kong West Kowloon. Crossing the border is also very quick now. This trip to Shenzhen was a great experience, mainly because I slept so well due to the excellent soundproofing; there was no noise at all. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shenzhen, which is why I'm leaving this review. The hotel offers a station transfer service (shuttle bus): Didn't get a chance to use it.

Facilities: Old-fashioned, but the location is a big plus. Cleanliness: The staff actually clean quite diligently, but there were still small flying insects in the room. They probably haven't done this year's pest control yet. Environment: Average. Service: I booked two rooms with cash, and they didn't even upgrade one to a larger room. Instead, they gave us two small, run-down rooms at opposite ends of the same floor. Pretty stingy.

Extremely satisfied! For this price and location, there's nothing to complain about. We booked an executive suite and they provided an extra bed for free, so it was very spacious for two adults and two children, and it even had two bathrooms. It happened to be my husband's birthday, and even though we didn't mention it, the concierge called to deliver a cake. When we returned to the room, we found a birthday towel arrangement. This level of service far surpasses that of Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel (thinking about HK Disney just makes me angry!). Although the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained. On the last day of the Chinese New Year holiday, breakfast was incredibly crowded, and service was a bit slow. The executive lounge was also very busy during the holiday. On our second night, which was a weekday, there were fewer people and the experience was much better; even the quality of the food in the lounge improved. The lounge breakfast was more refined and tastier than the restaurant downstairs. The à la carte menu had limited options, but the Eggs Benedict and French toast were delicious.

The best part was being able to take the hotel shuttle directly to the Intercontinental's exclusive beach. It was so convenient and hassle-free, allowing us to enjoy a quiet, private ocean view – truly delightful~ Overall, the value for money is outstanding. A stay to remember: The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen. Review of Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen Reviewed yesterday There are hotels you visit, and then there are hotels that leave an imprint on your soul. The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, belongs firmly and unequivocally in the latter category. From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means. Arrival and Reception First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you. The Club Skyline View Room If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty. The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Every detail, from the lighting controls to the turndown service to the quiet hum of climate perfection, spoke of a property that understands the difference between filling a room with expensive things and creating a genuine sense of place and comfort. The Mandarin Club Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people. Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. I returned to the lounge far more often than I had planned, not just for the excellent food and drink,

I booked two rooms for two nights over Chinese New Year, both advertised with 'city views.' However, we were given low-floor rooms that looked directly onto the large roof of the exhibition center across the street. We decided not to change rooms as they were otherwise decent. The hotel is 17 years old, and while the lobby shows a bit of age, it's very well-maintained. Our entire 7th floor had been recently renovated, which was a pleasant surprise. The gym is excellently equipped with a wide range of machines. The rooftop outdoor pool is also very comfortable. Location-wise, it's right in the heart of Futian District, surrounded by 6-7 malls, making dining, shopping, and strolling very convenient. The hotel service was absolutely impeccable; everyone greeted us with a smile! We had a very comfortable stay. The only downside was the breakfast, which wasn't quite ideal. While there was a good variety of items, it would be perfect if the taste could be refined and improved.

Service: I absolutely have to highlight this! If you're big on hotel service, you can't go wrong with this place. We arrived quite early after flying from Nanjing to Shenzhen, and there was a huge temperature difference. The staff were incredibly patient, helped us with our room, and even proactively asked if we needed a place to change clothes. Ms. Nancy was so gentle and patient during check-in, and her handwritten welcome card really touched me. The local tourist map she provided was also super useful. Plus, the duty manager at the front desk that day was very helpful, sharing insights about the nearby commercial areas – truly excellent! Ambiance: The hotel's location is fantastic, right opposite the Futian Exhibition Center. You don't have to worry about food, drinks, or entertainment, as everything is easily accessible. Getting around is convenient, and there's even a border crossing nearby for trips to Hong Kong. Facilities: Four Seasons is a relatively well-established hotel in Shenzhen. After staying at one in Hong Kong, I was curious to experience their mainland China offering. It has everything you'd expect, and it all works perfectly. I was very satisfied. Especially noteworthy is the bathroom floor – it's anti-slip but not abrasive, so no need for a bath mat, and the drainage is incredibly fast. It's the best experience and most functional bathroom I've encountered in a hotel so far (my focus points might be a bit odd, I know!). My two stays at Four Seasons have truly won me over. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! This trip to Shenzhen was delightful and comfortable.

As a luxury hotel that's been open for many years, its overall quality remains outstanding, showing no signs of age despite its long history. From the elegant decor of the lobby and the well-maintained public areas to the facilities and layout of the rooms, everything still exudes a sense of luxury and refinement. The rooms are spacious and grand, with excellent natural light. The bedding is comfortable and soft, and the bathroom facilities are clean and functional, with attention to detail evident throughout. The staff are professional, polite, and friendly, making the check-in process efficient and thoughtful. The overall service standard is consistently high. The location is excellent, making travel convenient, and the environment is quiet and private, ensuring a very pleasant stay. This is a truly classic high-end hotel that stands the test of time, offering both luxury and comfort. It's highly recommended, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip.

The MIXC Shenzhen and KK100 Shenzhen|5.01km from city center
This is an old hotel, and while the facilities are reasonably well-maintained, the sofa cushions were disgustingly dirty – covered in stains that looked like maps. Waiting over 20 minutes for breakfast was annoying enough, but what really frustrated me was being told both at check-in and again by the front desk via phone the next morning that breakfast was until 11 AM, only for the restaurant to say 10:30 AM. This is a very basic operational error. Since we eat slowly, everything was already cleared away when we wanted more food, so neither the adults nor the children ate enough. The 'butler service' was completely non-existent throughout our stay. At other hotels, the butler always contacts me in advance to add them on WeChat, but I didn't see a trace of one here. I even had to call to ask for the welcome fruit before it was delivered. To be fair, some staff members provided excellent service. I left something behind when I checked out, and after I contacted them, they very responsibly searched for it twice and helped me find it.

Guanlan Shenzhen|19.83km from city center
The hotel reception staff were very proactive and responsible, and their service was exceptionally polite and easy to communicate with. There was no need to switch to Mandarin, which I don't use often; speaking Cantonese was perfectly fine. We also found many pleasant surprises in the room, including the room type itself, which was very spacious and offered a great sense of openness, making us feel incredibly comfortable from check-in to check-out. The service staff's attitude was also very proactive. I truly felt a strong sense of being right at home. If I get the chance to visit Guanlan again, I will definitely stay here.

Lo Wu Control Point, Lo Wu Railway Station Shenzhen|6.65km from city center
My stay at the Renaissance Shenzhen Luohu Hotel was truly memorable. From the moment I stepped in, the attentive service was evident everywhere. Shortly after booking, the front desk confirmed my check-in details, and the process was efficient and smooth upon arrival. To my pleasant surprise, Eason had prepared a beautiful welcome fruit platter; its vibrant colors were not only pleasing to the eye, but the fresh, juicy taste also made me feel incredibly welcome. This thoughtful gift added a touch of sweetness to my trip. The room design was modern and comfortable, with a very spacious and well-thought-out layout that never felt cramped. The city view from the floor-to-ceiling windows was expansive, and the natural light was excellent. The hygiene was impeccable; every corner, from the carpet to the bathroom, was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft, fluffy, and smelled fresh. The overall environment was quiet and peaceful, with good sound insulation, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel's location is convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Mina, a staff member, was friendly and responsive; all my inquiries and requests were promptly addressed. This stay not only offered high-quality accommodation but also thoughtful and meticulous care. It's a highly recommended choice for both business trips and leisure vacations. The delightful experience makes me look forward to visiting again.

Shekou Area (Nanshan District) Shenzhen|16.19km from city center
The South China Sea Wing suite is perfect for a family of three; the 1.35-meter sofa bed in the living room is spacious enough for an adult. Most of the sea views from the 6th floor of the South China Sea Wing are obstructed, with more blockage on the right side. It's better to choose a room on the left side, or if not available, opt for room 6028 next to the elevator. The South China Sea Wing is quite simple overall. The indoor pool is closed in winter, and the gym has many external users. It's better to take the hotel's shuttle to the gym and pool at the Wanghai Wing; riding in the shuttle with a cool breeze really gives you that vacation feeling! Staying in Shekou is so pleasant, with the Sea World Culture and Arts Center and Prince Bay being great places for a stroll.

Overall, it was very good. Our butler, Jason, was extremely polite and even provided us with his self-made travel plans, which were very helpful and prevented us from taking unnecessary detours. The hotel facilities are excellent, especially the kids' club with its fine white sand beach and clear water. It's perfect for families with young children; you can leave the kids to play all day at the kids' club while the adults relax on lounge chairs, sleeping and sunbathing.

Cleanliness: The hotel isn't new, but the rooms and public facilities are well-maintained, including the outdoor pool which wasn't in use in February. The green coverage is high. Service: I was extremely impressed with the hotel's dining service. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of dishes, and the prepared food was meticulously cut. Most importantly, the seating management during peak breakfast hours was well-organized. Even during the busiest period from 9-10 AM, there was hardly any waiting time. What's even more commendable is how proactive and attentive all the staff were in anticipating guests' needs. They cleared plates promptly and thoughtfully, constantly scanning the room for any requirements. Similarly, during the dinner buffet, the food was fresh, with excellent beef hotpot and seafood quality. The authentic Cantonese-style rice noodle rolls and clay pot rice were also highlights. While you could tell the restaurant was mindful of costs, they still offered everything you'd expect without sacrificing quality or the overall dining experience. They even allowed a small amount of leftovers to be packed for my child who wasn't with me, which speaks volumes about the management's generous and accommodating service philosophy.
