Right in the middle of lake with beautifully decorated rooms with marble. Big lavish bathroom with huge tub and shower. We were upgraded to historical heritage suit with attractive lake facing royal sitting arrangement.common areas were befitting to a palace and the staff was highly trained. At night lobby level verandah as well as terraces just gave extraordinary view of the lake and building of the city.food was just superb.only shortcoming was that the AC was not adjusted enough for low temperature and it is a shame for such beautiful high cost hotel that we were advised to keep the fan on.

Excellent stay with the family. A little rough and lengthy check in, noisy corridors with people shouting across the halls and balconies even late at night. BESIDES the above we had a fantastic stay. Very courteous and helpful staff and teams, great housekeeping, superb breakfast. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

World class service, more than that very personalized In fact, we had some sickness in the family and the hotel was very ”homely”, took care of the kids like their own Facilities were really good Food was wholesome, when we ordered a dish, several snacks, salad etc were offered in addition to the entree I would recommend this ”palace” to anyone wanting to have an experience of feeling like royalty or family

The hotel that is really in the city palace complex needs to use the hotel's pass card to enter and exit the gate of the palace complex. The lobby, restaurant and bar are the main building of the hotel. However, it is slightly shabby, and the corners of the old facilities have mold spots and poor sound insulation. In short, it is like a small building that was previously occupied by people. Breakfast can be ordered a la carte, and the recommended leg of lamb for dinner is delicious. It is full of butter, and it is a real candlelight dinner ~

The hardware conditions are fantastic. It is a palace of ancient nobles. It can be described as luxurious and displays many ancient artifacts. Invincible lake view! It is a pity that the agent made the wrong price, the front desk asked for a fare increase, and for a long time, this is not like the behavior of a luxury hotel. You should let the guest stay and then find out the situation!

We chose Taj Aravali Resort & Spa, Udaipur specifically to celebrate our anniversary, but the experience turned out to be disappointing. Before arrival, we had written via email requesting a complimentary upgrade (only if possible) and shared that it was our anniversary. The hotel assured us that they would do their best, mentioning that they would decorate the room and arrange a cake. However, upon arrival, there was nothing prepared. Later in the evening, a staff member came and asked when we would be going out so that they could decorate the room. We adjusted our plans and gave them time, hoping it would make the occasion special for my wife and child. Unfortunately, even after that, no proper arrangement was done and there was no cake as promised in the email. The location is quite far from the main city, making it less convenient. The property also did not feel very photogenic as expected. Food quality was average with limited variety. During breakfast, the restaurant staff was largely inattentive — no one checked on us or asked if our child needed anything. The only exception was Mr. Gulshan and one female staff member who were helpful during dinner. Before this, we stayed for three days at Trident Udaipur, where the service and food quality were excellent, which made this experience feel even more disappointing in comparison. Overall, we chose Taj to make our anniversary special, but it did not meet expectations associated with the Taj brand.

A mixed review. Staff were very helpful in arranging flowers for my wife and the location is perfect, right on the lake with a lovely view of the ghat and sunrise. But this also means that things can get noisy at night, especially during a festival. The room was tired and smelt. Shower wasn't very clean. Breakfast was okay but staff tried to insist on guests eating breakfast inside which was very strange given that there was an outside dining area with a beautiful (world class) view of sunrise. The hotel restaurant was overpriced, chaotic and very loud. Priority on tables was given to groups who didn't order food or drinks, took insta pictures and then left. At the same time, several families were turned away. Tried to order a diet coke, was told that we couldn't have one despite them being in the fridge. Kingfisher was 600 a bottle which is a 240% mark up from the wine shops. Overall, great location let down by some tired rooms and poor service.

The most comfortable area in Udaipur is undoubtedly around Lake Pichola. I chose the most beautiful hotel with lake view from the website. It arrived at 5pm. The waiter led me across the courtyard to the room. This white hotel and beautiful decoration everywhere made me overjoyed. But the bigger surprise is still behind. The roof of the hotel is a huge platform with a swimming pool, a tea table and a dining table. Looking out is a beautiful lake view, and my room is arranged on the top floor, which means that I It is very convenient to enjoy the most beautiful scenery of Udaipur.         This Jagat Niwas Palace Hotel is also transformed from Haveli. It is white and white, which highlights the characteristics of White City. Many palaces and houses in the lake are also painted white, although they are not so unified. . Against the backdrop of Yingying Bibo, the freshness and romance of Baicheng suddenly emanated.         The colors of the evening, the scenery of the lakeside, and the freshness of the hotel swept away the impression of ”dirty mess” in India for the past few days. I didn't step out of the hotel's door until check out the next day, just sitting On the cushions by the window, eating dinner and breakfast in a daze against the beautiful lake view, then wandering around in a hotel that is not too big to see the carved wooden furniture and the beautiful decorations in the niches. This trip suddenly switched to vacation mode, and the charm of Baicheng is actually in this slowly passing away time.

I recently celebrated my birthday at The Leela Hotel, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was unmatched—easily the best we’ve experienced so far. Every staff member made sure our celebration was special, leaving no detail overlooked. A special mention goes to Kishan, our driver, who went above and beyond to make our trip even more memorable. Not only was he punctual and professional, but he also doubled as an excellent tour guide, sharing fascinating insights about the city and taking us to hidden gems we wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. Kishan’s warm demeanor and local expertise added an extra layer of joy to our stay. The hotel itself was stunning, with impeccable service, luxurious rooms, and exquisite dining options. From personalized surprises to their attention to detail, The Leela made sure this birthday celebration was one for the books. The service attitude is very good and responsive. The restaurant dishes taste good too. The lake view room has a wide view. The atmosphere for a walk in the garden by the lake is very nice. Before I left, it happened to be during the preparation for a wedding, and it felt very festive. The hotel is on the edge of the old city. You can use the Chinese version of Uber for travel. You can pay in cash and you can call a tutu car, which is very convenient. Maybe I am more sensitive to odors, and I always feel that there is something wrong with the decoration materials in the room and my throat is dry. The bathroom facilities are average, the hair dryer is in the drawer, but the power cord is connected to the wall under the sink. The quality of toiletries can't be flattered.

The stay was good, the food was good, the staff was good yet I have one issue with the packaged drinking water. They are charging 20 Rs. mineral water at 100 Rs. per bottle 5 times higher than the actual price even though the MRP mentioned on the bottle is 20 Rs. only which I think is not at all justifiable. The hotel management should think about it.
