We had a great stay at hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs. Of course it’s amazing to stay in an iconic hotel that has existed for 130 years, and it’s charm and decor do not disappoint. The renovated rooms have maintained their charm, while having a little style update. The staff is amazing – very helpful and willing to make sure that your stay is an enjoyable one. In the summer, do not miss dining on the patio.

The location is good as it is right in front of the train station. There are many restaurants around. The facility was clean, but there was a lot of smell because it was under construction when I visited. It was disappointing that there was no information about construction before checking in.

This place was a great value. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The couch was very low and sunken which made it uncomfortable. The kitchen was poorly stocked with bowl for serving and mixing and it needed a baking dish. My biggest complaint was the employee on break sitting in the lobby arguing very loudly in Spanish on speaker phone. I was on the other end of the room and could plainly hear both sides of the conversation! After 30 minutes he went behind the Reception desk. The woman working the desk did not ask him to have his phone call elsewhere and ignored the whole event. It was quite irritating.

I enjoyed that fact the Queen room was spacious and there was lots of room to layout and support travel bags, as this was my last night before flying out after a two-week excursion to Colorado. It was nice to have surface to organize, as there was a nice counter, table & two chairs, luggage rack and bed. For me it was perfect! The location was great and quiet, as it was off the freeway enough. The proximity to the hot springs in the area was perfect, with nice walking area along the Colorado River. I would definitely stay again when in the area, which will likely happen, as the town would be nice to explore further.

We had a fantastic stay at The Best Western Antlers. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had a 3 Queen suite which had a separate bedroom with a queen bed and two Queens in main room. The bathroom was great, TV worked well with so many channels. The beds and linens were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was really good too with a better, wider range of choices than I was expecting. The hotel was in a good spot walkable to shops, restaurants, hot springs and the grounds were beautiful. The hotel staff were also very friendly and we felt right at home. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The people were great and pool area was clean, warm, and well kept. One bathroom outlet did not work and we had to call for the toilet that wouldn't stop filling and the elevator was out of service. The thing that was most irksome, though, was the breakfast was a bit skimpy for a $250 per night hotel. Other than that we had a good stay.

This past summer several of us were in CO on a motorcycle trip. While my wife and I were checking into this hotel we received a call from another one in our party that one of our guys had crashed on his motorcycle. Renee (mgr) and the other women working the front desk heard parts of the conversation and immediately offered any help and assistance they could provide. There genuine concern, caring and willingness to help was without question one of the highlights of our 3 wk 5500 mi trip. On top of that it was one of cleanest and best maintained of the many HI's we stayed at. I am sorry it took me so long to post this but found out Renee is still the manager and I am confident her hotel and staff are still doing a great job.

The hotel has been in some renovating which didn't affect us or our sleep and the manager explained this up front. The breakfast area is unique in that it had windows to look out and the setup was excellent with eggs, waffle maker, cereal, juice, fruit, milk, etc. Located close to a scenic area Colorado River and wildlife. At check-in, I believe the manager (from Michigan originally) checked us in and he was very knowledgeable of the area and places to eat and which hot springs he thought we would like. I had enough points for a free room. Since we live in SW Kansas, we would definitely go back here and stay.

They have fixed the elevator, the water heaters, and ventilations to each room. I will give this hotel a 5 star review if they do the following: They should do a quality room check before guess check in. My room's (305) tub and sink weren't draining correctly, the over head lamp in the bathroom wasn't functioning, the AC/Heating unit was tripped, wall paper is pealing in the bathroom, and a couple of lamp shades are broken. They should replace old wall papers. They should change the carpet. All in all, I was pleased with the customer care and service, even though the discount they gave me for having issues with my room, wasn't up to par. The cleaning staff were great! Front desk young lady, Dulce, was an amazing hostess. The breakfast was good. The maintenance person, Cesar, was friendly and efficient at fixing some of the issues with my room. I look forward to staying here again, as a valued Hilton Honors member, I will continue to be a loyal customer. I only hope that they take my review seriously and brings this up to at least one more star next time I visit Glenwood Springs.
