Futian Station is accessible via metro, bus, taxi, and direct high-speed rail, with seamless airport connections:

From Airports to Futian Station

1. Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport (SZX)

  • By Metro: Take Line 11 directly to Futian Station—no transfers needed. The journey takes 30–40 minutes, and tickets cost just USD 1 (CNY 7–8). It’s the most cost-effective option for solo travelers or those with light luggage.
  • By Taxi/DiDi: A taxi ride takes 30–40 minutes (depending on traffic) and costs USD 15–20 (CNY 110–150). Opt for this if you have large suitcases or arrive after metro operating hours (after 00:30).

2. Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)

  • Airport Express + High-Speed Rail: Ride the Airport Express to Kowloon Station (20 minutes), then take a short taxi trip (5 minutes) or walk (15 minutes) to Hong Kong West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station. From there, hop on the HSR to Futian Station (14–15 minutes)—total travel time is about 1.5 hours, and the full journey costs USD 30–40.
  • Cross-Border Bus + Local Transport: Several direct cross-border coaches run from HKG to Futian District. After clearing immigration at the border, take a quick taxi or metro ride (Line 4/10) to Futian Station—this option is budget-friendly but takes slightly longer (around 2 hours total).

From Hong Kong to Futian Station

1. MTR East Rail Line + Border Crossing (Budget-Friendly)

Take the MTR East Rail Line to Lok Ma Chau Station (terminus). Follow the clear signage to the Futian Port immigration checkpoint—after completing exit procedures in Hong Kong and entry checks in Shenzhen, you’ll walk through a covered corridor directly into Futian District. From there, it’s a short stroll to Futian Station’s entrance (about 10 minutes total from Lok Ma Chau Station).

2. High-Speed Rail (Fastest & Most Comfortable)

Board the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-Speed Rail at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station—the non-stop ride to Futian Station takes just 14–15 minutes. Trains run frequently throughout the day (every 10–15 minutes during peak hours), making it ideal for time-sensitive trips. Book tickets in advance via Trip.com or the official 12306 app—both platforms accept international credit cards, and e-tickets are available (scan your passport at the gate to board).

From Shenzhen City Center to Futian Station

1. Metro (Most Convenient for Daily Travel)

Futian Station is a major metro interchange, served by Lines 2, 3, and 11. Trains operate from early morning until late evening (first trains around 06:00, last around 23:30–00:30), with departures every 3–5 minutes during rush hour. English signage is widely available across all stations, so navigating is a breeze—use Exit 15 (for Civic Center) or Exit 29 (for taxis/buses) to reach the station’s main concourse.

2. Taxi or Ride-Hailing (Great for Luggage or Late Nights)

Licensed taxis and ride-hailing apps like DiDi offer door-to-door service to Futian Station. This is a smart pick if you’re carrying heavy bags or traveling after metro hours—fares from Futian CBD cost around USD 4–7 (CNY 30–50), and rides from Shenzhen North Station run USD 10–15 (CNY 70–110). The DiDi app has an English version, making bookings easy for international travelers.

Facilities & Hygiene: The hotel has been open for a while now. Even though it's been renovated, some parts do show their age, which is to be expected. However, the cleanliness is consistently good, and the rooms are generally very spacious, making for a comfortable stay. Service: The staff are very welcoming. The only minor inconvenience is having to report your car plate to the front desk every time you leave the parking lot.

My stay at the Sheraton Shenzhen Futian Hotel was very comfortable overall. The location is super convenient, right next to the Convention & Exhibition Center subway station, just a few minutes' walk away, making getting around and handling business a breeze. The standard room was spacious, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the soundproofing was also good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Overall, it was a pleasant and satisfactory stay. We were here for several days, and while we had a minor issue at the beginning, the hotel's butler service was incredibly prompt and professional in communicating with us and helping us resolve the problem. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated, creating a great festive atmosphere. The location is also excellent, with convenient transportation all around, making it easy to get anywhere quickly. There are plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby as well. All in all, it was a good experience.

The only thing that would make the massage chair water in the pool perfect is if it were 2-3 degrees warmer. It's a bit too cool for just relaxing, though the changing rooms do have hot tubs. However, staying in the changing room for too long gets hot, and there's no view or fresh air. Marriott's water temperature is better in comparison. It's great that this hotel has a steam room and sauna, which is rare in Shenzhen. Overall, the hotel environment and service are excellent.

This stay was absolutely wonderful. Big thanks to Eric for proactively reaching out about my check-in request, providing detailed room information, and considering my accommodation needs. He was both professional and reliable. And a huge thank you to Mandy for her meticulous and thoughtful service, as well as her professional demeanor. She made me feel right at home during my stay and showcased the Ritz's top-tier service details and professionalism – truly commendable. **Check-in:** I checked in at the Executive Lounge on the 26th floor. Mandy warmly greeted me and handled the process. I was upgraded to an executive view room, and the overall experience was quick and pleasant. **Room:** I stayed in a newly renovated room this time. For established hotels, a new room, or simply choosing a new hotel, is often the safest bet. **Other amenities:** The toiletries were Diptyque Fig, and the water was VOSS – excellent choices. Welcome fruits were provided, and turn-down service included chocolates. **Executive Lounge:** The 'five meals a day' experience was great. Ms. Mandy gave me a detailed introduction to the current dining options and recommendations, and the other service staff were also excellent. **Breakfast:** The breakfast on the 2nd floor was quite extensive. Plates were cleared quickly, and the service was fantastic. I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict and rice noodle rolls. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, distinct from my Ritz stays in other cities. The emphasis on service truly resonated with me during my time at The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen. I'll definitely make an effort to come back and relax here whenever I can.

On vacation in Shenzhen, I missed my return flight. For the first few days, I stayed at the Kaisa Marriott (far from the airport, by the sea), but I didn't want to travel back and forth and risk missing another flight. So, I found a nice hotel nearby. I have to say, the Four Seasons Shenzhen truly lives up to its name. When I checked in, the front desk attendant was incredibly friendly and approachable, which was a refreshing change from the cold, robotic service at some other hotels – definitely worth praising. Then there's the lobby, the natural light is absolutely unbeatable! There's a grand piano next to the bar, and we happened to see someone playing it. The soft sunlight streaming in made for a truly delightful scene, giving me an excellent first impression of the hotel. As for the room, I was very pleased with the fantastic sound quality of the speakers and the superb view. Although it wasn't on a high floor (I personally prefer staying in very tall hotels), the high-rises opposite perfectly conveyed the hustle and bustle of Shenzhen. The hotel's location is also excellent; the Ritz is directly opposite the Four Seasons, it's only about ten kilometers from the airport, and there's a pedestrian street right next door, making it incredibly convenient to go anywhere. Around 10 PM, we had a few cocktails at the lobby bar, and the atmosphere was super chill. Now, for some minor suggestions after listing the pros. First, the lobby bar closes way too early! It stops service at 11 PM. The front desk attendant even joked, ”I also think drinks should be enjoyed until the early morning hours.” I hope the bar can stay open until midnight so we can relax, chat, and enjoy the Shenzhen vibe a bit longer. Also, I hope the doormen can be a bit more attentive. Since there were four of us arriving in a business van, and each of us had luggage, I wished the doorman would react more quickly and have two more people help with our bags, instead of just one person deliberating on how to carry all our luggage. But these are minor issues. All in all, this Four Seasons experience was a quintessential luxury hotel stay. I hope the hotel continues to strive and maintain the Four Seasons' reputation and service. I look forward to even more delightful surprises on my next stay.

Had a nice stay with my family for my birthday. We stayed during Chinese new year dates so the restaurant Prego wasn't open. The Brez restaurant for dinner is nothing fancy but does the job. Breakfast was nice and only 100 per person. Service from all staff was really good. They gave a birthday cake for my birthday and were very accommodating. The staff was very welcoming and always making us feel welcome. Location is good if you have a car. We went to Dameisha beach, the pedestrian street and Sea world. All different districts. However, the hotel is in need of some upgrades. The pool is not that warm even though they say heated. Other one is the baby crib. 1: - it's tiny. More for a newborn. 2: - the cribs are old and worn down. Need to upgrade baby beds immediately. Not sanitary for children. I did ask for a bigger size but it was a pull out bed which was an extra charge and also our baby doesn't sleep in a big bed yet. So in the end, we had a tiny, warn out baby crib. He ended up in bed with us. I wouldn't consider it 5 stars. Would I stay again? Probably not. Thanks to the staff!

Good overall, and very convenient as it's close to the border crossing. Facilities: The facilities are a bit old, and there are very few power outlets, which was quite inconvenient. Otherwise, it has the standard amenities you'd expect from a five-star hotel. Hygiene: Generally, the hygiene was good, but the bottom of the shower curtain had some mold. For a five-star hotel, shower curtains should really be disinfected and cleaned after each use. Ambiance: The environment is great, close to the border crossing, quiet and peaceful. Service: The service was very good.

First off, the location is fantastic – right next to an outlet mall and tons of restaurants, big and small. You can take a shuttle or walk to the beach. Secondly, the room was really spacious, making it comfortable to put things away. Lastly, the price was great, much cheaper than the InterContinental. These are all big positives. However, I felt the overall service attitude was just mediocre. The older gentleman with glasses at the entrance, who helped with our luggage when we first arrived, deserves praise. But when we asked about the beach buggy, his attitude was a bit impatient. The check-in staff were friendly enough during check-in, but when we asked questions at other times, their service awareness was lacking. The breakfast was also a bit sparse and not very varied. Kids' amenities were also quite incomplete. In short, I felt the overall service was a bit lacking. Maybe it's just the local custom, or perhaps the service training wasn't up to par. However, when we later went to a hotel in Futian District, we experienced the normal, welcoming service again. Oh, and a side note: the paintings in the bathroom and toilet were really dark and eerie when the lights were on at night. They could definitely use some brighter, more welcoming artwork.

Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay. Initially, I was a bit worried about choosing this hotel, as it's a bit older. However, once I arrived, I found that the hotel is very well-maintained. All my initial concerns about it being old or having hygiene issues were completely unfounded; frankly, there's no major difference compared to hotels that opened just a few years ago. All the requests I made when booking online were met. Although the toilet and such in the room were old-fashioned, the room layout and air conditioning vent design were excellent, and the room was very quiet. Another point worth mentioning is the performance of the staff. Since I was traveling with a child and was quite tired, we had dinner at the Langham Club every evening. Zhang Jie, the manager there, was enthusiastic and excellent from the first day she served us, and over a few days, she built a close friendship with our child. Other staff, such as the breakfast servers, bellhops, and housekeepers, were also on point with their service, making our Chinese New Year holiday at The Langham very pleasant.

I booked this hotel a month before the Mid-Autumn Festival. I stumbled upon it by chance and was surprised to find such a secluded paradise in downtown Shenzhen. Although the hotel has some history, it's very comfortable inside. We even received a complimentary unlimited-access pass for each person to the attractions. While the overall facilities are a bit dated, our deluxe triple cabin room had been recently renovated, and the bathroom facilities were brand new. My favorite part was the balcony; enjoying the moon there that night had a special charm. Interestingly, we ordered takeout, and the delivery guy was so captivated by the beautiful night view that he lingered at the front desk taking photos after dropping off our order.

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt this Chinese New Year holiday, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much since I thought the hotel was quite old. But from the moment I met Joy at the front desk, I was pleasantly surprised. Even though our room was delayed for a long time, Joy actively helped us arrange a place for my family to rest and check-in, which was really thoughtful. The charm of a well-established hotel truly shone through during the rest of our stay. Every single staff member, from top to bottom, was dedicated, kind, and promptly handled any issues with a human touch. This really highlighted the excellent management capabilities of an older hotel, as well as their sophisticated and advanced staff training. I hope the hotel continues to thrive, and I'd recommend them to focus on maintaining and upgrading their facilities to keep things fresh for returning guests.

I've imagined my ideal beachfront B&B a hundred times, and my wish finally came true at ”Mile” B&B in Jiao Diaosha, Shenzhen. From the overall decor of the house to every thoughtfully arranged scene within the B&B, it truly reflects the owner's pursuit of beauty. And don't think that just because it's a B&B, the hygiene can't compare to a hotel; I can honestly say that every corner of the lobby, rooms, and bathrooms is spotless. Staying here allows guests to enjoy a comfortable and pleasant seaside vacation. It's also worth mentioning that the front desk小姐姐 (a polite term for a young woman) is beautiful and kind, and the service aunties are warm and attentive, which makes this one of my favorite B&Bs.

The mattress was so hard like wood. Was that a wooden board with beddings laid on top or what?!. I think that's the only downside i can pinpoint exactly. Areas I thought it could improve in: -Bidet would've been nice. Everytime I sat down, I felt chills down my spine(:(. -The location. I liked the building B better, do they access it only to Chinese citizens or what? -The pool and the hot spring was out of order. It was expected as it's not the season to use them. But-! It was quite hot that day (29ºC to 14ºC) so I asked if they could do us a favor and fill one of the tubs but they said no. :( After all that walking and beach stuff, I needed that relaxing hot spring). Regardless, there are things that I did enjoy. Specifically,: -The tea set was exquisite. Had that traditional chinese craftsmanship and even the tea packaging felt special(for a freebie) -Quality of the one-use amenities. The items provided felt like items you get for everyday use rather than hotel provided one-time use bathroom supplies. -The shower water was HOT. That hot water rundown was exactly what a girly needs. -The view. The garden downstairs was a sight to see. Especially at night. The wooden railings and the stairs light up beautifully when the sun goes down. -Service. They were really kind. From the moment we went in till the moment we went back- they were all smiled and tried their best to serve their customers. -Sitting area in every corner. You'll know when you get there. You can sit in your room or outside. There were at least 10 different seating areas with different amount of chairs and table. Plus, the chairs were comfortable.(some were not tho) Overall, this place is 8 to 8.5/10 Extra tips I wanted to add: -DO NOT FORGET TO BUY PLENTY OF ANTI MOSQUITO OIL, SPRAY, BRACELET, WTVR -DO.NOT.DO.LAUNDRY. Unless it's early in the morning till sun goes down or during hot summers. -Go to building B for restaurant, cafe or breakfast.

We booked Villa No. 1, which was quite good. The overall environment is probably among the best on this beach. While it's located amidst local villagers' houses, it's very convenient, just a three to four-minute walk to the beach. Other accommodations in the area are typically just regular village homes. The service was excellent; it operates like a guesthouse with a dedicated host who goes out of their way to fulfill any needs. My only minor suggestion would be to further enhance the cleanliness and make it a bit more thorough. The room design is very warm and cozy.

I'm never disappointed when staying at a Marriott property; that's the power and quality of their brand. From the moment I entered, the concierge proactively offered to help with my luggage, and the front desk staff efficiently handled check-in – the entire process was professional yet warm. The room was clean and elegant, the bedding comfortable, and the soundproofing excellent; high-end standards were evident in every detail. The dining options were extensive and fresh, facilities were well-maintained, and the guest services team was promptly responsive, truly making me feel at home. Marriott's consistent high quality and attentive service make every stay reassuring and comfortable. It's my first choice for both business trips and leisure vacations. Highly recommended!

The hotel service was absolutely top-notch! From the moment we stepped in on the first floor until check-in, everyone was incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offered a great variety. Plus, there's a large shopping mall nearby, which was very convenient, and the subway station is close by, making getting around a breeze!

I had a very satisfying stay this time. The customer service, especially ANNA, was incredibly thoughtful and helped us resolve many small issues – much appreciated! The hotel's location is excellent; it's very close to Wutong Mountain, Meisha Peak, and both Dameisha and Xiaomeisha beaches. The subway is an 8-minute walk away, and the Chung Ying Street is a 10-minute walk. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby, whether you prefer takeout or dining in. The room was spotlessly clean, truly meeting a five-star standard.

If you're visiting Window of the World, the WESTIN's location is a huge advantage! The bedding and towels were very new and reassuring. However, I guess the hotel is quite old, so the decor is rather traditional and a bit dated. The service was excellent; they've added a dedicated WeChat concierge, which allows for communication at any time. They've also introduced robot service that can deliver food to your room, which is a big plus. I hope it continues to improve in the future; I still like your hotel!

My stay at Shenzhen MO was absolutely perfect! I have to give a special shout-out to Ms. Tipo, who was incredibly warm and attentive. She gave us a detailed room tour and offered fantastic travel recommendations throughout our two-day stay – so thoughtful! All the staff were very friendly, creating a wonderful service atmosphere. The location is super convenient, close to UpperHills and a park, which was great for traveling with seniors. The executive room and lounge offered stunning views, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the turndown service had great attention to detail. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Shenzhen!

Traveling with my kids on a late-night flight to Shenzhen, staying at the Hyatt Regency Shenzhen Airport was super convenient as it's within walking distance. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious 😋. I accidentally left some luggage behind at the hotel, and the concierge, Nini, promptly helped me mail it out. Full marks 💯 for the service!

Facilities: This is a classic, established five-star hotel, so everything is pretty well-developed and complete. Hygiene: Surprisingly clean, incredibly clean! The room floors were spotless. The cleaning staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. Environment: The greenery is a huge plus – it's so pleasant, perfect for a morning dog walk or a relaxing afternoon break. Sitting on the small balcony at night, enjoying the breeze and some late-night snacks, was wonderfully comfortable and enjoyable. Service: The front desk staff were very patient and polite during check-in. Being able to bring our dog was a major bonus! We even have a large dog, and not a single staff member we encountered showed any sign of dislike. Of course, as pet owners, the most important thing is to always keep your dog on a leash and pick up after them, to avoid causing any inconvenience to other guests or the hotel.

The staff's service attitude was really good, especially the outdoor kids' club staff, who were excellent. Breakfast was the most satisfying part. However, the mattress in the room was absolutely terrible. I've never experienced a five-star hotel mattress where the entire bed shakes when one person turns over. Considering that most guests at this hotel are likely families booking this 2-meter king-size bed, those who are light sleepers should seriously reconsider. My husband and I barely slept well. Also, the Utopia kids' club is split into indoor and outdoor sections, and the fact that the indoor part costs extra is quite off-putting. It feels like an in-house hotel facility, yet guests have to pay an additional 200 RMB to use it. I suggest either using different names or clearly stating that the hotel room only includes access to the outdoor play facilities. In fact, the outdoor section was already great and more than sufficient; even the carousel was free, and there was a building block house. The indoor play area feels like it's purely designed to annoy guests.

I specifically paid extra to book a sea-view room, banking on the Marriott brand, hoping for a relaxing vacation with my three-year-old. What a nightmare, honestly, it was exhausting. We arrived promptly at 3 PM, only to be told by the front desk that our room wasn't ready. They asked us to wait in the lobby and promised to call us when it was. Understanding that it's peak season, we waited patiently. We sat there for a full two hours and never received a call. When we finally went back to the front desk to inquire, we were told the room had been ready for a while, but they were too busy to notify us. So, essentially, if we hadn't asked, we would have just kept waiting. Our original plan to drop off our luggage, take our child to the beach, and enjoy a relaxed meal was completely ruined. Our child was bored and crying in the lobby, and we adults were utterly exhausted. Even more ridiculous, the sea-view room we paid extra for turned out to be a shabby garden-view room. The room facilities were old and worn, with multiple scuffs on the walls and furniture. There was a strong, pungent odor as soon as we entered, completely different from the pictures on the booking page – pure false advertising. When we tried to communicate with the hotel about changing rooms, the staff said, ”This is the only one,” and told us to make do for tonight and they'd arrange a change tomorrow... For an international chain brand, their reception and service quality are severely mismatched. The procedures are chaotic, promises aren't kept, and the room type doesn't match what was advertised. Traveling with a child is already hard enough, but encountering one frustrating issue after another truly dampened our holiday spirit. Thankfully, the staff's service attitude was decent; otherwise, I would have complained publicly. I can only say that their management, service, and reception capabilities are severely lacking. From the moment we entered the hotel, it felt like a chaotic experience. If the standard remains like this, we won't be returning.

I saw this White House B&B online and it looked beautiful. Although it was similarly priced to the White House Hotel, the idea of stepping right out onto the beach was more appealing to me, so I chose the B&B. The first two days we were here, the weather was just awful. Beach trips are really dependent on good weather, so I didn't get the shots I wanted. As a result, I spent those two days visiting other attractions. On the last day, the sun finally came out, and I finally saw the beautiful beach and sea, washing away the gloom of the previous two days. My child was finally able to happily play in the water and dig in the sand, even getting quite a tan. However, Nanao First Beach was smaller than I imagined; I had pictured a very, very long coastline. One morning, just as dawn was breaking, I was woken up by a child from the next room shouting outside. It was a bit annoying to be disturbed before I was fully rested, but it's understandable in courtyard-style accommodations where rooms are connected. Another night, I heard thumping noises outside and thought it was a thief. I went out with a hanger to investigate and found other guests had taken a chair from the courtyard to chat together. Perhaps it's because it was my first time staying in this type of place, but I did feel a bit unsafe initially. Thankfully, I got used to it after two days. As for dining, there are several restaurants nearby, and you can also order delivery directly to your room. The White House itself has a restaurant; unfortunately, I went too late that day and missed out on the pizza. While the service was a bit slow, the food was indeed very good. During my stay, despite a few minor issues with cleanliness, the housekeeper was very proactive in resolving problems. The front desk staff even generously provided sand toys. Whether it was the manager or the owner, one lady was incredibly warm and helpful – I think she had the best service attitude, and I'd like to give her a big thumbs up! For the stunning views on a sunny day and the owner's excellent service, I would definitely come back again.

Booked my trip during Chinese New Year, and the front desk agent, Xiao Yang, was incredibly warm and attentive. They let me check in early after confirming with me, and even offered complimentary breakfast and a late checkout, which was very patient of them. The room had a balcony, which was a nice touch overall. The breakfast selection was a bit limited compared to other Hilton properties, and the room rate during Chinese New Year was actually double what you'd pay at Shenzhen North Station. However, the service was consistently excellent.

The location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get around. There's public transportation and a supermarket right outside, so no worries about commuting! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, and the bedding was so soft I slept like a baby. The natural light and ventilation were excellent! The facilities were complete and worked well, with plenty of hot water and stable water pressure. The front desk service was warm and attentive, check-in and check-out were super fast, and they responded promptly to any requests. The cleanliness details were impeccable, and the toiletries were high quality. This place offers incredible value for money. FAQs about Futian Station

  • Is Futian Station closed (as shown on Google Maps)?

No—Futian Station is fully operational (HSR and metro running normally). Google Maps’ data for mainland China is often outdated (multiple years in some cases), as confirmed by on-the-ground travelers and Reddit users. For accurate info, use Amap (Gaode Maps), Baidu Maps, or the official 12306 app (for HSR status).
  • How do I go to Futian Station from Hong Kong?

Take the high-speed rail from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station to Futian Station (14 mins, USD 8–12). It’s the fastest and most convenient option.
  • Is there immigration at Futian Station?

No—Futian Station is a transport hub, not a border crossing. Immigration checks are done at land ports (e.g., Futian Port) or Hong Kong’s West Kowloon HSR Station.
  • What time is the Futian border crossing?

This refers to Futian Port (not Futian Station)—the port operates 06:30–22:30. Futian Station has no border crossing functions.
  • What line is Futian Station on?

It’s an interchange for Shenzhen Metro Lines 2, 3, and 11, plus the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-Speed Rail.
  • What is the cost of a train ticket to Futian Station?

HSR tickets from Hong Kong West Kowloon cost USD 8–12 (second-class); from Guangzhou South, USD 11–15 (second-class). Metro tickets start at USD 0.3.
