It has the typical amenities you would expect, toiletries, minibar etc. Lounge service was excellent - very friendly and helpful - and the canapes had some variety. Reserved a night birthday staycay of king premier room, including breakfast for 2, for my birthday via Trip.com app.
Check-in process was a breeze.
The customer service person surprised me with a huge birthday cookie and wish.
The amenities were ample and easy to locate.
If that was not enough, you can explore all around nearby attractions in always happening Orchard Road.
Square footage of the room was spacious for just the 2 of us.
Bathroom and soaking tub were well used.
With premier rooms & suites booking, we enjoyed complimentary experience at co-working space on level 15. Local snacks and free flow of choices of coffee, tea and other hot drinks from 8 AM to 8 PM. You can even order in-house food menu to be served there.
Got a complimentary parking.
Lastly and importantly, the breakfast spread.
Nasi lemak with specific sambal nasi lemak was so sedap. So was grilled prata pieces with dhal curry and there were yutiao...pastries...cold cut...porridge...congee...mushroom soup and oatmeal...breads and buns...and the list went on and on 😋
We were spoiled for choices of breakfast that served from 7 to 10 AM.
No fuss check-out.

We came to Marina Bay Sands hotel mainly for the famous Infinity Pool and we really loved the Infinity Pool! It was very safe and the view was beautiful! The hotel also had many other attractions that was amazing! The hotel is located in a perfect spot! If you just cross a road, there is a shopping mall perfect for dining if you want to go and eat outside and if you want to ride the metro, just simply walk for about three minutes. Something that I also really love is how good the room is! The room was massive, high tech and clean of course. I have not seen a cleaner clean my room but I have peeked inside other rooms that the cleaner was cleaning and I saw just how hard the cleaners try to clean the hotel rooms! Everything was so good and comfortable and clean! The view from inside a room and a window was spectacular! Everything went perfect including how nice the staffs were. Next time I come back to Singapore which will not be too long, I definitely want to come and stay in Marina Bay Sands Hotel again! I had the best time here and I strongly recommend this hotel if you come to Singapore.From$455

Stayed at this hotel for one night only but no complaints about their service and cleanliness as it was top class. Booked a good king room and got upgraded to great king room for free. Since we checked in quite late (6pm), receptionist extended our check out time to 12pm with no additional pay. Aware that room size in Singapore is quite small but the room that we were in was spacious enough for 4 of us (2 adults, 1 4yo kid, 1 baby). Location wise is perfect, very near to Bencoolen MRT. An interesting concept to try out if one hasn’t been in this layout before. We were greeted with welcome drinks. However MEMO brunch menu (see photos) which we ordered was disappointing and it’s not worth the dollars. Thank god we were given disc as hotel members otherwise it wouldn’t be worth. Nevertheless, the MEMO crew is friendly and polite, and their coffee and croissant are both good. For the amenities, we were disappointed that the treadmills were faulty during our stay. Our stay at Parkroyal was a breeze. Checking in was smooth. Requested for 2 single bed but didn't got it, wasn't any issue. Cleanliness is perfect 👍
Breakfast spread was superb as well. The kids enjoyed picking up food by themselves (with supervision as the plates & drinking glasses were made from ceramic which was quite heavy for the little ones)

Had one of the best experience staying here. We booked the Urban Suite room to celebrate my daughter’s 2nd birthday with our family members. Upon checking in, they gave my daughter a little box of chocolate which is so thoughtful. I went to ask for another one cause my daughter finished them up so quickly lol. And the receptionist took a bigger box this time and said to share with the whole family. How sweet. We had to wait a little longer for the room to be ready but it wasn’t really a big deal cause we could still wait in the room while they clean up the living room. The room we booked comes with breakfast but initially it’s at a restaurant which is not halal certified. Luckily there’s another restaurant that’s available for breakfast and it’s halal certified. So we were told to go there instead. There’s a playroom available near the lobby which is great to get the kids to play together. And we got a late check out at 3pm.From$256

The room looks old but is kept clean except for the blanket which have an obvious stain mark, but since its at the edge I'm willing to look past this.
Aircond controls seems to be not working, making the room very cold eventhough fan had been set lowest and temperature the highest. The floor being tiles only doesn't help as well.
Otherwise its a good 2 nights stay for me considering the convenient location. Service by the staffs are satisfactory as well.From$115

The view from the room is superb, although room size is small but everything was good and worth for it. The location is easy accessible by walking distance from Clarke Quay or from Fort Canning MRT. Although my room, 417, had a slightly strange smell, my overall experience was fantastic. The highlight was the convenient hotel shuttle transfer to Wheelock, the famous Orchard area in Singapore.

This is not a 5 star hotel as what it claims to be. Lobby is small, the room is old, and water pressure of the bath room could be stronger. One of the room cards they gave me at the front desk was not working. Then the second time I had to go back to them for changing the room card was on that extra night I booked at the same room (it’s even done before arriving Singapore). I think their room card system is old and would not adjust accordingly to changes made to the bookings.
Therefore, I think it’s overpriced comparing to other hotels on the same street (Orchard Road)
If you viewed it as a four star, services in general was fine. Good choices and services for breakfasts.

It has a classy reception area with crystal hanging from the ceiling. This time round not sure if they have change to another lobby scent. Personally i do not like it… one had to wait for awhile to check in as there were many guests. Room is clean and all the room amenities are available. Maybe Accor could look into changing the towels as some are fraying off. Notice that this time round the lifts are very stuffy and it s seem to have no fan blowing in it. My second time having breakfast in Food exchange but this time is huge disappointment. The varieties has been reduced slightly. The section for porridge , dimsum… the stove is not really working. Hence the food is not hot. Compared to first time round, i dont think i will want to spend my money here.

This isn't my first time to stay here. In a previous review, I had bestowed upon the hotel a rating of four stars and had made mention of the General Manager's name, Oscar Postma, as a mild critique of their performance. My stay had been quite wonderful, albeit marred by their proclivity towards complacency in providing minor special requests. However, I found myself the subject of ill-treatment at the hands of the hotel's personnel. Their behavior was nothing short of bullying, as they proceeded to pursue punitive measures against my top-tier membership in their esteemed chain of hotels, ultimately resulting in its suspension. The road to reinstatement was replete with challenges, and I was disconcerted by their unseemly conduct, which seemed to be directed towards punishing me for my candid review. It is my duty to warn other fellow reviewers that these individuals are not to be mistaken for gentlemen of standing and refinement, but rather, they utilize tactics that are more in line with the mindset of a thug, targeting those who dare to voice their concerns. Any potential guest at the Conrad Orchard Singapore should be prepared to navigate such hostility. In summation, I find the behavior of the hotel's personnel to be wholly unacceptable, and I would caution any prospective guests to prepare themselves accordingly. It is my sincere hope that this review serves as a warning to all who might consider a stay at this establishment.

|1.64km from La VentanaHad a fantastic stay again at St Regis. The room is awesome, as always. Very big at 50m2 with king sized bed and lots of sitting area. The iconic marble bathroom comes with bathtub and bath salt, separate toilet and shower area. There is also a small walk in wardrobe.
The bed and pillows are super comfortable. It was very hard to get up in the morning haha! Service was great too. Indicated that we are celebrating birthday and they gave is birthday cards, a small cake and fruits. Staff are also prompt in dealing with our requests. All requests made via call were delivered within 15mins.
The only thing that was lacking was no view. We booked the executive room which faces the condo. Wasnt a big issue with us as the room more than make up for the lack of view.
Would definitely love to come back again!

I guess we looked at the room rates and we just figured there would be a lot more to offer the property is very minimalistic. Can’t say much about the staff because the hotel is so new but they definitely need more experienced management for sure, I’m a Titanium Elite member so I did get an upgrade to their basic suite. The rooms and the property has no sound insulation so you can hear everything in the hall everything in the rooms next-door to you for that reason alone I would not return. I was told if I wanted further upgrade I could use my suite Night awards they have a promo going on But then was told after ,we don’t control that Marriott controls that which I know they do but it did say it was available but what they had done after me requesting about 10 times for the upgrade instead of honoring what they said they gave it to someone else two hours prior to check and bragged about it see below I did ask the management what I did wrong Anything? Or what do I have to do next time? But like I said the management is very new and inexperienced so I didn’t get much benefit of asking that question I think it’s an overpriced property in my opinion they won’t survive not at the rates I see some rates entry-level thousand dollars $1200 depending on the dates, no way in a million years is this property command those kind of dollars we come to Singapore 3-4 times a year we stay around 80 nights I won’t be visiting this property again anytime soon. as well Not crazy about the location and if it rains you’re at luck we didn’t try the restaurant there wasn’t much on the menu Have a look at it so I can’t comment on that, no buffet breakfast included no lounge just don’t see the value at all, but if you want your milk because they don’t leave milk in the room for your coffee, I suggest you order it an hour in advance. Check out is 12:00 to me a 2 star or 3 star has 12:00 check out.the spa is basic very small only few people can fit in jacuzzi, maybe three in the Steam and the bathroom utensils or something you would see again in the two or three star hotel again very disappointing.PS before you go to bed check that they’ve left coffee or sugar in your room so that way when you get up in the morning and you find there’s nothing there you won’t have to wait an hour to get it. It’s hard to believe they don’t even leave milk in the room. You have to call up for it every morning.

The hotel itself is again very dated which shocked us a little due to the price you are paying. The staff are very helpful and ordered taxis when we requested them. The facilities within the hotel such as having a washing machine and dryer in the basement which was free to use and didn't require any products is very helpful and was used often. There is also a washer and dryer on every floor but you need to supply the products for that one - which we didn't feel was viable for such a short stay. Our 2 bed apartment was very spacious and well looked after by the housekeeping team. We weren't able to use the pool as this was down for maintenance but we did go to the hotel pool which was lovely but a little dated. I would have preferred there to be less inconsistencys within the hotel for example one breakfast we had at the buffet we weren't charged for our 6 year old but for our second trip we were which was a little confusing.

The swimming pool is 40 meters long, the room is clean, the kitchen is equipped with Chinese and Western kitchen utensils and rice cookers are also available. Clean, the cleaning towel will be changed every day. There are both Chinese and Western varieties for breakfast, and there will be some small changes every day. The coffee is delicious and fully meets the needs. The geographical position is superior, five minutes' walk from the Orchard Road shopping mall, each shopping mall will have a large food court underground. It is also very close to the Botanical Garden, and I often go for morning jogs. The distance from the hotel to the Botanical Garden is about 8 kilometers. All in all, this is the best serviced apartment I have ever stayed in. It is highly recommended and will choose next time.

|1.84km from La VentanaI stayed at Le Grove Serviced Residences (SG Clean), 11 minutes walk to Orchard Road, for two weeks (Sep 2023). Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore is simply a 3 minutes’ walk. I booked for a One Bedroom “Deluxe” (46 m²). The residence consists of 1 living room with a kitchenette, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower (no bathtub). I was allowed an “early check-in”, which is a great bonus. A welcome hamper (Tea, coffee biscuits. Etc), is presented upon arrival. Staff were polite and informative. . The premises are quiet and homy. The water pressure of the head shower was strong and invigorating. This room has a washer/dryer and cloth rack, which I found handy. There is NO oven, the microwave will suffice (defrost & baking). You will need to bring your slippers & bathrobes with you. The furniture is basic and the layout is practical. Toiletries are amply provided. Housekeeping, did the daily cleaning perfectly. . There is a FREE shuttle bus every day (except Sunday), making 14 trips a day and stopping at 9 destinations. Free Shuttle bus to Orchard Road is included. I highly recommend using the shuttle service, it is very convenient. . However, my only concern was that the apartment was located on the ground floor opposite the swimming pool, hence my privacy was compromised. I would have preferred a 1st floor apartment for complete privacy. SEE photos.

But this was certainly not the case during my encounters with some of the guests in this hotel.
Once, I encountered someone as he came out of the lift, and i could hear him coughing along the corridor as the lift doors closed.
Please wear a mask.
On another occasion, someone entered the lift, coughing heavily inside that enclosed space.

In both cases, the guests didn't even bother to cover their mouths.
Thirdly, when I was checking-in, someone simply stretched out her hand to put her card on the counter, stood there for a while, before muttering ”check-out”, and left. Perhaps i was transparent and she could not see that the receptionist was serving me. Such entitled behavior.
I was somehow reminded of how a prankster handed Theresa May a P45 during her party conference in 2017.
Fourth, someone barged into the lift while I was walking out, as though assuming that it would be empty.
Next, I ordered takeaway lunch at Jiang Nan Chun, and the server told me that I was using an older menu when it clearly wasn't. It just happened to be a discrepancy between the physical and online menu, and told me to use the physical one instead (which I wasn't shown beforehand).
I had encountered a similar price discrepancy at another establishment, and I believe that it would do good for the staff at Jiang Nan Chun to learn from them:
What the other establishment did was to admit that the price discrepancy was their error, and that they were going to honor what they had published online.
Later on, their boss told me that ”when something like this happens, we honor it, and investigate or rectify it later”.
I'm also perplexed/baffled about how the restaurant staff at Jiang Nan Chun had assumed that I was only ordering food for 1 person, especially when there were 6 dishes involved.
Thirdly, I ordered takeaway from one-ninety, and the server asked if I wanted it sent to the room. I was told that the price would be the same regardless of whether I brought the food up myself or whether it was delivered to my room, so I opted for the latter.
Therefore, it came as a shock when I saw that I needed to pay service charge for the takeaway. When I enquired at the restaurant, they said that it was because I had asked for the food to be delivered to the room (when I was told by someone else that there would be no difference in price if i had collected it myself). The hotel eventually refunded me the service charge, but this misunderstanding could, and should have been averted with clearer communication.
The rooms are a bit old, with cracks on the window/tables, but otherwise quite nice and spacious. It wasn't exactly clean though, dust and some sticky substance on the window, some dust on carpet and certain things that might have/could have been animal fur (although the operator said that this was not the case).
Breakfast was good, and most of the dishes were very nice. But it was rather inconsistent. For example, my hot chocolate had choco flakes in them, but my partner's didn't have any. Upon enquiry, the server said that perhaps they had ”forgotten” to put them inside. A better level of service would have been to asked if we wanted a replacement (i told the server that we didn't want anymore, just in case she decided to bring one for me later on)
Having said all that, I was genuinely surprised during turndown service. I put my computer mouse on one of their magazines, as the table was quite slippery. When I came back from dinner, this was replaced with a mousepad. The first time I've experience this in a hotel.

But the biggest issue was the closure of the Crystal Club Lounge. The “alternative” provided at The Carvery was rather underwhelming - no cocktails served, only beer and wine, with a single platter of fried spring rolls, chicken wings and swiss rolls. Breakfast was good though, spread of food was reasonable. The best part of the hotel is its proximity to IKEA - other than that, I wouldn’t recommend.

Thank you for accommodating our (sometimes) last minute changes and ”custom” requests. It also helped us to keep within budget. Thank you once again for all the arrangements you made for us. You even arranged for your colleagues to provide water for us - I don't remember that being part of the package - we are so thankful for this bonus as it did come in handy when the young adults got thirsty. The price of the hotel is at a mid-to-high level among similar hotels. The biggest feature is the feeling of home, quiet, warm and comfortable, and most of the guests are long-term guests. , Breakfast is also good, simple but adequate and nutritious. The disadvantage is that the housekeeping staff are few and the cleaning is not timely.

Though infrastructure is old it's a good place for a short getaway located at a quiet area in Steven's
We used the kitchen equipment though when we first check in the crockery were dirty and greasy.
Good thing thr service staff, gave us a sponge and detergent to clean up the crockery.
Overall, cleanliness can be improved but we sure did enjoy out stay.

|2.24km from La VentanaAs two couples we had a great 7 day stay at Fraser Suites. I will summarise our stay as follows: Positives: The accommodation suited us perfectly; spacious, with a balcony, washer, dryer, and two bathrooms. Plenty of storage space, especially in the kitchen if you need it. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The apartment was spotless and housekeeping visited every day, replenishing laundry powder, toiletries and they also left fresh towels. The master bedroom is big, with ensuite bathroom (with a separate toilet to the shower). There is a Fairprice Finest literally next door, along with a Little Farms, and an Italian restaurant that does takeaway pizza. Other local eateries too. The Great World MRT is about a 12-15 minute walk away, but once you get the hang of the buses they are good too, as there are stops nearby. The MRT is just two stops away on this route (Riva Lodge). We didn’t use the free shuttle service. The pool area was nice and pool towels are provided. We never had to wait long for the lifts. Negatives: A mirror in the bedroom would have been useful so that I could do my make-up and dry my hair whilst my husband was in the shower. I don’t think there was one in the master bedroom either. There are full length mirrors all along one wall in the kitchen so I resorted to doing my hair and make-up in there. No spare socket by the bed. Nowhere to put towels in the smaller bathroom. We would have been happy to re-use towels if there was somewhere to hang them up and felt this was a waste of energy. A couple of hooks would have been brilliant. The kitchen was very poorly equipped if you’re going to be there for a longer period, but there is a note left by management to just ask for anything you need. A small table on the balcony would have been useful. Breakfast was very hit and miss. On more than one occasion I had to tell the staff that the scrambled eggs and sausages were cold. I was very worried about the food safety aspect of lukewarm meat. We ended up asking the staff to get the chef to make us fresh eggs once we realised this was an option. The toaster was so slow and took 2-3 rotations to get anything other than warm bread. It was however nice to have a bit of variety of the Asian dishes. If you don’t mind being a bit outside of the city, this is a great place for families with the convenience of laundry facilities and a balcony. Daily housekeeping was a bonus and breakfast included. I would certainly recommend it. I hope this is helpful!

Check-in process was a breeze.
The customer service person surprised me with a huge birthday cookie and wish.
The amenities were ample and easy to locate.
If that was not enough, you can explore all around nearby attractions in always happening Orchard Road.
Square footage of the room was spacious for just the 2 of us.
Bathroom and soaking tub were well used.
With premier rooms & suites booking, we enjoyed complimentary experience at co-working space on level 15. Local snacks and free flow of choices of coffee, tea and other hot drinks from 8 AM to 8 PM. You can even order in-house food menu to be served there.
Got a complimentary parking.
Lastly and importantly, the breakfast spread.
Nasi lemak with specific sambal nasi lemak was so sedap. So was grilled prata pieces with dhal curry and there were yutiao...pastries...cold cut...porridge...congee...mushroom soup and oatmeal...breads and buns...and the list went on and on 😋
We were spoiled for choices of breakfast that served from 7 to 10 AM.
No fuss check-out.
Not forgetting a must IG worthy, picture perfect iconic stairs ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 💗

|2.31km from La VentanaWhat an amazing last minute find Novotel Living was for us - it is serviced apartment accommodation, which is rare in Singapore. The minimum stay is 6 days but believe me it is so convenient to everything you could ever need. We stayed in a studio apartment for seven days, which was compact but had a small kitchen with generous fridge/freezer, 2 hotplate elements, rice cooker, frypan and a couple of pots, toaster and electric jug, with crockery etc supplied and a washing machine/drier or if you prefer a clothes rack can be requested and a dehumidifier can do the rest. The rooms are serviced every second day, I think, except for public holidays (Mon, Wed, Friday for us). The Location is perfect - 5 minute walk to Food Republic for multiple food options and an excellent I-Setan supermarket (opens at 10am) and Johan Paris bakery (opens earlier maybe 9am but unsure) for fresh bread and sweet treats. The Orchard MRT is only 5-6 minutes walk away and will take you virtually anywhere you need to go. There are multiple plazas within 10 minutes including Ion Orchard, Shaw House, Far East, Lucky etc where it is a shoppers paradise. The bed was comfortable, and extra towels etc are available between housekeeping visits. The pool is amazing - a toddlers pool with a small playground but the main pool is very large about 20+m x 15m approx starting at 1m at each end going to 2m in the centre 5m of the pool. It is refreshing and has sun-loungers and a couple of table and chairs and cabanas. A great set up and there is a gym but we didn't venture inside. The two lifts are prompt, despite being shared by guests and housekeeping staff and mostly less than a 1-2 minute wait. Reception staff extremely friendly as were the housekeeping staff - highly recommend and they have bigger 2 bedroom apartments and even a penthouse!

The hotel is very close to the subway station, less than 100 meters away. It is so convenient and very necessary for those with elderly and children. The room size is large, and the three-bedroom apartment is the first choice for family travel. The swimming pool downstairs is nice. Shopping is nearby, just on the street behind Orchard Road, and there is a large shopping mall across the road. However, the postal code was not marked after the hotel was booked. Singapore taxi navigation always inputs the postal code. The driver found a detour for a long time. If you want to take a taxi, ask in advance.
