During my recent stay at the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel in an executive suite, I experienced unparalleled luxury and comfort that transformed my visit into an enchanting retreat. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming staff set the tone for an exceptional experience. The executive suite was spacious and elegantly appointed, boasting stunning views of the bustling city skyline. The modern decor combined with thoughtful amenities made the space feel like a home away from home. Comfortable furnishings, including a plush king-sized bed, provided a perfect place to unwind after a busy day of exploring Taipei. One of the highlights of the suite was the access to the Executive Lounge. The atmosphere was both sophisticated and relaxed, offering complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails with a selection of delicious hors d'oeuvres. It was a lovely way to mingle with fellow guests while enjoying breathtaking sunset views! The attentive lounge staff went above and beyond, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. In addition to the suite’s luxurious accommodations and the Executive Lounge, the hotel’s facilities were top-notch. I enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool and a revitalizing workout at the fitness center. The variety of dining options available on-site, including an exquisite Chinese restaurant, allowed me to indulge in both local flavors and international cuisine. The Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel is perfectly located, making it easy to explore the vibrant city. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, this hotel offers a unique blend of comfort, elegance, and exceptional service. I left feeling rejuvenated and eager to return, having experienced a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration. I wholeheartedly recommend staying in the executive suite for an unforgettable Taipei experience!

The room was certainly small, beds were comfortable, and well maintained, making the stay good. The washrooms were very clean, which added to the overall comfort. Breakfast had ample options, including both Western and traditional choices, catering to different tastes. The hotel’s location is excellent, right by Wanhua Station and very close to the MRT, making travel extremely convenient. The staff were helpful and courteous, and the self check-in option was smooth and efficient.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect for Families — Comfortable & Convenient Our family had an amazing stay here. The room was spacious enough for all of us, with comfortable beds and thoughtful touches that made our stay relaxing. The hotel’s cleanliness was impressive, and housekeeping did an excellent job each day. Location was ideal — plenty of food choices, convenience stores, and MRT stations nearby. Moving around the city was very easy. What we appreciated most was the warm and friendly service. Staff greeted us sincerely every time and helped with directions, transport bookings, and recommendations. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with options suitable for both adults and kids. Overall, a fantastic choice for families looking for comfort and convenience.

The room is dated but location is centralised with a mall next to it. Escalator and walking distance helps to make luggages easier to handle. Rooms are relatively big. The lift system - you have to press both lifts for it to work and often a long waiting time. The dryer on 4th floor had a ”broke down” notice and when asked the reception, she gave me a nearby laundromat but it is not self-service coin operated. We booked with breakfast but i'll say, give the breakfast a miss.

A Fun and Funky Stay in the Heart of Taipei I had a great stay at Hotel PaPa Whale! The hotel's style is really unique and quirky, which makes it stand out from your typical business hotels. The location is absolutely fantastic. It’s just a short 7-minute walk to Ximen Station, making it super convenient to get around the city, and being right on the edge of Ximending means you're in the middle of all the action, shopping, and nightlife. Location: You really can't beat it for exploring Taipei. The Ximending pedestrian area is literally a few minutes' walk away, so you're surrounded by endless food options. Whether you're looking for a late-night snack, trendy cafes, or authentic ********* street food, you'll find it all right on your doorstep. The proximity to the MRT station is a huge plus for day trips too. Room & Atmosphere: The room was a decent size, especially for Taipei, and we had plenty of space for our luggage. The vibe is modern and playful. The most... memorable feature was definitely the large mirror on the ceiling above the bed. It certainly adds a fun, slightly ”kinky” twist to the room's atmosphere! It’s a bold design choice that fits the hotel's overall playful and unconventional personality. Bathroom: One of the highlights was the bathroom. It was impressively large, very clean, and well-appointed, with good water pressure in the shower. It felt more like a boutique hotel bathroom than a standard city hotel one. Overall: Hotel PaPa Whale is a solid 4-star experience. It combines a prime location, a clean and comfortable room with a fun twist, and a great bathroom. If you're looking for a memorable stay right in the heart of Taipei's most vibrant district, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended for couples or anyone looking for something a little different.

booked a standard King Bed in end March room was large, enough electricity power sockets shower water pressure and toilet worked well pool is small.. about 15M but adequate didn't have time to try the restaurant location is about 10min to the subway, lots of small restaurants around, 711 is in the lobby However the room furniture is aging. the bath tub height was high and need to slowly climb in to take a shower, can easily slip and not recommended for elderly people. need to call housekeeping to add more toilet paper and request they wash or change the used tea cups liquid soap and shampoos bottle pump is hard to press worse is the TV system does not work. when watching TV channels... after 2 min it returns to the main page. also there is a message that a phone wants to connect to the TV... I assume from another adjacent room. inforned front desk, but it seems they are not able to fix it Overall, won't come back and will try other hotels

This was the most unforgettable night of my entire trip to Taiwan. After staying in five different hotels, the Grand Hotel definitely ranks number one for me. The service attitude was excellent; the luggage staff helped with my bags as soon as I got out of the car, and then brought them to my room after check-in. Their smiles were warm, and their service was very professional. The front desk service was equally impressive, upgrading my room and adding a small, simple touch – two swans folded from towels on the bed – which was a pleasant surprise. The Grand Hotel truly offers a blend of professionalism and warmth. While the facilities might not be the absolute best, I believe their service and professionalism are on par with world-class luxury hotels. The shuttle service at Yuanshan Station makes transportation quite convenient. From my room, I could see Taipei 101 and planes taking off from Songshan Airport. The soundproofing was excellent; it wasn't noisy at all. Five stars don't even begin to express my praise for this hotel. If I have another chance to visit Taipei, the Grand Hotel will still be my top choice.

The Regent is thoroughly an amazing experience regardless of if you’re with family, friends, or a solo traveler. The room is incredibly spacious and comfortable with a beautiful bathroom and view of the city. The windows offer a great amount of natural light as well of a view of the city. There’s a well-sized desk too if you, like me, had to do some work during the day. The location itself is close to many other hotels and nearby to a station so transportation and local services are easy and possible. However, while locations like Ximending or Taipei 101 are not too far, it’s also not right outside. From some rooms, you can even see Taipei 101! Nonetheless, the area where the hotel is situated is incredibly quiet, clean, and relaxing. The service was, by far, the highlight of the entire experience. From the moment you walk in the door, there are an incredible amount of helpful and kind attendants to assist and guide you. There was not a single negative experience I could write about. As an international solo traveler, I felt well accommodated to. There are an incredible amount of amenities to make use of. Restaurants, bars, pools, spas, shopping! All within the confines of the hotel. If you’re more of a homebody rather than an explorer, that experience is definitely possible here. The food was amazing and the decor is simply decadent. Overall, it was an amazing stay with minimal to no qualms.

We just returned to the Philippines after a wonderful 10-day stay at Finders Hotel Qufian, and we truly couldn’t be happier with our experience. We came in not expecting much, but this hotel completely exceeded our expectations. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and made both check-in and check-out smooth and easy. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. We absolutely loved the ambience of the hotel, everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, especially for families. Traveling with a child can sometimes be challenging, but this place had everything we needed. The kids’ playroom was a highlight, our daughter loved it so much and genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay. The room, while not very large, was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The temperature and heating were just right, making it very relaxing after long days of exploring. The bed is more of a typical Asian-style mattress (not super soft), but it was perfectly fine for us and didn’t affect our comfort. Breakfast was consistently excellent. We especially enjoyed the Chinese cuisine selection, and the unlimited beverages, coffee, snacks, and even noodles were such a thoughtful touch, perfect for those late-night cravings! The WiFi was fast and reliable, which was important for me as I had online meetings and even did some Netflix streaming without any issues. Location-wise, it’s fantastic, close to many of Taipei’s must-see attractions like Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, National Taiwan Museum, and 228 Peace Memorial Park (which we absolutely loved). It’s also conveniently near NTU Hospital Station, making it easy to get around the city. This is a hotel I would highly recommend, especially for families traveling with kids. In fact, I’ve already recommended it to friends! We will definitely be booking here again on our next trip to Taiwan.

A great place to stay in Taipei—close enough to Ximending for convenience, yet far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet away from the crowds. The hotel offers excellent amenities and plenty of thoughtful freebies. We especially appreciated the free use of the washing machine, as well as the snacks, drinks, movie area, and games at B1F. We booked the smallest room without a window, but it was still spacious enough for a couple. The bed was incredibly comfortable—we slept so well every night. Surprisingly, having no windows has its own perks! We also loved the strong water pressure, which my husband particularly enjoyed. It’s a bit of a walk to Taipei Main Station, but the route is filled with food spots and coffee shops, making the stroll enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

Taipei Railway Station Area Taipei|2.84km from city center
The hotel automatically upgraded us to a significantly more spacious room during check-in which was a nice gesture. The room was spotless and while Taiwan law does not allow hotels to proactively provide single-use toiletries, shampoo and shower gel are still provided through dispenser bottles. The hotel also has a water dispenser so guests do not have to worry about buying bottled water everyday from convenience stores. Without having to request for it, hotel staff automatically changed the pillowcase when they saw that it was soiled which showed their meticulousness when cleaning the room. In terms of location, the hotel is within a mixed-used building just outside exit Z2 of the Taipei Main Station so it was very convenient to get around and explore the city. While some reviews complained about the long waiting time for elevators, I found that it was generally acceptable. There were two elevators at the front lobby that served all levels of the building and more elevators at the back of the building serving specific levels. At this price point, the only drawback was the shower head in the toilet. Due to the small size of the shower area, you would be standing very close to the shower head. The shower head holder is non-adjustable and angled almost horizontally forward rather than downwards. This meant that when you turned on the shower, the water would be directed at your face and head and it would be difficult to direct the water at anything below the neck level. As such, most guests would have to resort to holding the shower head in their hands rather than enjoying a hands-free relaxing experience, which I guess was a small compromise to make. Overall, I enjoyed my short stay at this hotel.

The location of the Hotel isn't that convenient to go to, so it's recommend to look at their shuttle bus timing or simply book an Uber to ride up the hill. Each room that you book also comes with a 1x free visit to the outdoor Spa facilities so I highly suggest you to bring a swim wear to go as it's pretty good even at night time. As for the room it's spacious like other reviews photos have shown but not a lot of people have shown the bathroom/toilet so I'm including it here. The staff upgraded our room and gave us a bigger room and bigger beds.the staffs are helpful and polite.the hotel itself and our room is clean and looks new.we enjoyed the public sauna which is open 7 am to 10 pm.the swimming pool was nice too.the buffet breakfast was superb..all choices have.(Western ,Chinese etc).they don't provide water bottles in the room however the hotel provides water machine where u can get drinking water..the mini bar was free to consume which is really good.bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush as the hotel doesn't provide it but other toiletries have. It's a far walk to metro zhongxiao xinsheng exit 4.however,the hotel provides free shuttle bus going to metro station starting at 9 am and every 30 min. Need to reserve first.all in all ,I will love to stay in this hotel again..have Netflix and you tube too.

This is our second time staying at JR, again right before the Chinese New Year, and we stayed for three nights. We were mainly satisfied because the twin room was very spacious, perfect for our family of four. Since we usually sleep late, we opted for a room without breakfast; if needed, we could always buy it from the front desk, and there are plenty of hidden gem eateries nearby for brunch, afternoon tea, coffee, etc. The best part is the small park behind the hotel with a stone slide that's great for letting the kids burn off energy. Overall, it was a very satisfying trip and stay.

Facilities: Quite new. Hygiene: Clean. Environment: Excellent location, almost 5 minutes from the city airport. Service: The team is quite professional, and the shuttle service is very thoughtful. The only downside is that their internal system isn't integrated, so I had to repeat information every time a different staff member assisted me.

Miramar Ferris Wheel Taipei|4.58km from city center
Let's start with the positives: The doorman, lobby manager, and front desk staff were all very professional, living up to the reputation of a renowned international hotel. The room was spacious, bright, and clean. Now for the negatives: It lacks grandeur. The lobby entrance is too narrow, making it feel like a busy market when crowded. The facilities are mediocre. The bidet toilet was installed too high; even at 172cm, my feet couldn't touch the ground when seated. The TV was incredibly small, disproportionate to the room size. The most frustrating issue was the poor soundproofing. The guests next door in room 1225 were speaking English, and perhaps they couldn't control their volume, but I could hear their conversations clearly, which was very loud and disturbing. This was extremely disappointing. Due to construction, the Ferris wheel was almost completely obscured. This isn't the hotel's fault, but rather an objective circumstance.

Our family of six stayed at Hotel Èclat Taipei, occupying three different rooms on Level 5. Overall, the rooms were cosy, stylish, and felt luxurious, but our experience varied noticeably from room to room. One point to note is the lack of basic amenities — toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided, which may surprise some guests. Additionally, the room features were inconsistent: - One room had heated toilet seats, while the other two did not. - One room had automated curtains, while the rest were manual. - Another room had warm water from the bidet, but others did not. Although Hotel Èclat is a 5-star hotel, the lobby is relatively small and may feel cramped, especially when multiple guests are checking in at the same time. Sound insulation could also be improved, as we occasionally heard guests laughing late at night. That said, there were definite highlights. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and both the water pressure and bath products were excellent, making showers very enjoyable. These details made a big difference to our comfort. Location-wise, the hotel is excellent. It is extremely close to Taipei 101, which is very convenient for guests planning to visit the area. The hotel is also situated between two MRT stations on the Red Line, each approximately 400–600 metres away. Walking to and from the MRT stations was pleasant, especially with the cool December weather, making the commute comfortable and enjoyable. We did not opt for the hotel breakfast, as we preferred exploring traditional Taiwanese breakfast options nearby. The staff were polite, professional, and accommodating, assisting us with umbrella rentals and ensuring our rooms were on the same floor, which we appreciated greatly as a family travelling together. Overall, Hotel Èclat offers a comfortable stay in a prime location with attentive service, though greater consistency in room features, amenities, and shared spaces would further enhance the experience.
