My stay at the Lijiang Waterfall Hotel was absolutely fantastic, a full five stars! The hotel's central atrium is grand and spacious, and the panoramic elevators are a unique feature, really adding to the ambiance. Our room was large and spotlessly clean, with soft and comfortable bedding. The desk had excellent lighting, and the carpets and soft furnishings were exquisite and well-maintained. All the facilities were complete and in great condition. The overall service was attentive and thoughtful; the front desk staff had a wonderful service mindset. The location is superb, making it very convenient for getting around and sightseeing – Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun & Moon Twin Pagodas are right outside. Both the hardware and software definitely meet five-star standards. This is my top choice for accommodation in Guilin, and I'll definitely be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent location, great service, slightly dated facilities but still recommended. 🚩 Location & Transport: Right in the city center on Binjiang Road, within walking distance to Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, and East-West Alley. There's a bus stop and shared bikes right downstairs. For those driving, there's a free parking lot with charging stations, super convenient. 🛏️ Room Facilities: Got an upgrade to a river view room. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of the Li River and Elephant Trunk Hill. However, the 4th-floor view isn't great as it's blocked by large trees on the street, obscuring the river. The room was clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding, though the bed was a bit small and the room size was on the smaller side. The decor felt a little traditional. Some outlets didn't have USB ports, so bringing your own charging adapter is recommended. 🍽️ Breakfast: A wide variety of Western pastries. The highlight was the freshly made Guilin rice noodles – both the dry stir-fried and soup versions were delicious. They also had Gongcheng oil tea, desserts, and fruit. 🤝 Service: The front desk staff were warm and professional, proactively upgrading our room and giving us a small gift. Their response time was very quick. 💡 Suggestions: Lower floors facing the street might experience noise, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. During peak season, breakfast can get crowded and require queuing, so dining off-peak is advised. Overall Review: The location and service are impeccable. While the hardware isn't the newest, it's still a reliable choice as an established five-star hotel. Suitable for travelers who prioritize convenience and views.

The room's floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of the Li River and Elephant Trunk Hill – an unbeatable location. The entire room features a minimalist luxury wood design, and the marble bathroom is spotless with no dead corners. It's fully equipped with a bathtub and double vanity, and the toiletries are exquisite. For breakfast, you can enjoy authentic Guilin rice noodles. There's also a public laundry room and gym available. The front desk service was attentive, proactively recommending touring routes without any upselling throughout our stay. Away from the main road, it's very quiet. For its price range, the views, cleanliness, and amenities are all well-balanced. It's definitely our top choice when visiting Elephant Trunk Hill.

I chose the Qiao CIAO Hotel for my short stay in Guilin, and its riverside location right by the Li River is absolutely fantastic! It's been raining lightly recently, and the infinity pool on the first floor looks incredibly inviting. The pool water seems to blend seamlessly with the outdoor mountain scenery, and a gentle breeze just makes you feel completely relaxed. I booked a twin room, and it was spacious and brand new. The lighting was warm and inviting, and there was a large bathtub – perfect for a relaxing soak after exploring the mountains and rivers, it really helped me unwind. You absolutely must try the Guilin rice noodles for breakfast. A warm bowl of it is incredibly satisfying, and you can add as many toppings as you like. There's also a good variety of fruits and pastries, so you can take your time and enjoy your meal without rushing. The ambiance, rooms, and breakfast were all excellent. This short trip was incredibly comfortable, and I'd definitely recommend considering this hotel if you're visiting Guilin!

The room was decent, clean, and well-equipped, even though it had a slightly older style. They even provided a free extra bed. The environment was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning garden featuring peacocks and a small zoo. Unfortunately, it rained heavily during our visit, so we couldn't use the outdoor children's facilities. It was a shame that the indoor playground was also unavailable. The pool was fantastic – perfectly heated and very clean. My only minor complaint is that inner tubes had to be rented or purchased. But the absolute highlight was the breakfast! It was incredible, truly amazing, and the service was impeccable. A special shout-out to the tall, slender manager in the black uniform – I apologize for not catching your name. Breakfast definitely deserves a super-duper five stars! Room service was a bit on the pricey side. The location was quite good, with nice views of the mountains in the distance.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the city center, yet it's surprisingly quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep! They also arrange parking, which was incredibly convenient as we didn't have to search for a spot ourselves. In the evening, it was super easy to walk to attractions like Shan Lake, the Sun and Moon Pagodas, and East and West Alley – most were just a pleasant 5-10 minute stroll away. The lobby offered freshly brewed Luo Han Guo tea, and the front desk staff, noticing we had sore throats, even gifted us some upon checkout – so thoughtful! Our room was clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. While it's not a brand-new hotel, you can tell it's very well-maintained. There's also a self-service laundry room and a restaurant upstairs. The breakfast had a great variety, and the Guilin rice noodles were particularly delicious! Overall, a really good experience!

Returned for another stay at this hotel because of its beautiful environment and excellent hygiene. The service was fantastic all around. A special shout-out to the ladies working shifts on the 12th, 27th, and 21st (both day and night) for their exceptional service. I wasn't feeling well due to a cold, and one of the staff members thoughtfully applied medicated oil, massaged pressure points on my head, and even helped upgrade my room. This resort hotel has a Chinese-style exterior and European-style interior. The rooms are genuinely spacious, and the bathroom is also huge, even featuring a bathtub, which my child absolutely loved. Personally, I think the value for money during a holiday like May Day is incredibly high! On the first night, my child's mother complained that the shower water pressure was a bit low. The next day, the front desk promptly moved us to a different room, right across from our original one. This was so thoughtful, the room change was effortless, and the service was excellent!

Stayed at a Garden Hotel in Yangshuo before and it was pretty good. This time, I brought my child to the city and chose a Garden Hotel again. It's very close to the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, and easy to drive to. The hotel has EV charging stations, and the view outside the hotel is nice. The rice noodle shop downstairs isn't a网红 (internet-famous spot), but I personally think it's better than other chain stores. The front desk gave us a free room upgrade, and they even gave my child a small gift before we left. The service was prompt and responsive, and the cleaning staff were also very enthusiastic. I brought my family to Guilin this time and chose the Dragon's Den Puyu Hotel's [Elephant Trunk Hill View Two-Bedroom Triple Room]. The hotel is directly opposite Gate 1 of Elephant Trunk Hill Park. It's just a three-minute walk across the street to the scenic area entrance. Heshe Hotel stands as one of the finest resorts for accommodation in Guilin. Their hospitality, culinary offerings, ambiance, and staff are all exceptionally delightful and helpful. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by amazing front desk attendant, Melody. She assisted us through out our stay and made sure we’re comfortable and well taken care of and our tour guide, Eric, who communicated fluently in English, significantly easing our experience as non-Chinese speakers. The owner was equally gracious, sharing their barbecue with us, creating a sense of homeliness. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They regularly checked if we needed anything and made us feel truly valued throughout our stay. The breakfast was extensive, with a great variety of fresh, high-quality food to choose from every morning. One of the highlights was the spa. We enjoyed a traditional Thai massage on two consecutive days because it was simply that good! We were also pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s laundry service. The lovely lady who took care of our laundry did an amazing job, and everything was perfectly clean, fresh, and dry the very next day. Her kindness and dedication really stood out. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. Greetings from the Netherlands!

We stayed one night at The Grand Link hotel a wuick stop in Guilin before we moved on to the Longji rice terraces. Check in was smooth, passports copies taken paid an extra deposit to be refunded when we left. Our room was average, dark decor and very minimal lighting - which come dark this was abit of a nightmare! Lots of damp areas in the decor in the main bedroom and bathroom walls. The room did have everything we needed but glad we only had one night here. The children enjoyed an hour in the pool, a welcome break from the heat. Check out wasn’t the best, we got up at 5am to be on our way to Longji by 6am but when we went to check out the man asked us to wait 5 minutes for the room to be checked for the deposit to be refunded - but this in the end took 35 minutes! I’m just glad we weren’t up early for a flight or something like or I would have panicked more about missing it with how long it took!

An excellent stay! First, since I was traveling with elderly family members, the lovely lady at the front desk kindly upgraded our room for free. The room was huge, the facilities were brand new, and it even had a bathtub, which made my mother's stay very comfortable. Second, the hotel's location is superb. It's just a 10-minute walk to Elephant Trunk Hill and the Sun and Moon Pagodas (part of the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area). During the day, we hiked Elephant Trunk Hill and took photos with the 'elephant' and Guanyin's vase-shaped hill. At night, the illuminated Sun and Moon Pagodas were incredibly beautiful, and the air was so fresh. Just across the street is the famous A Gan Restaurant, and a 15-minute walk brings you to Haitan Changfen, which always has a long queue! Third, the hotel breakfast was incredibly rich, with delicious rice noodles and siumai – no need to go out for breakfast. Finally, parking at the hotel was very convenient, and they even prepared ginger date tea and monk fruit tea for us. All in all, I want to thank the hotel and the front desk staff. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!

A very satisfying experience. The hotel is in a moderate location, not far from any tourist attractions, and it is convenient to eat and shop nearby. The facilities are very warm and considerate, and the service is warm and thoughtful. I originally booked two nights, but changed my itinerary temporarily, and I got a refund in less than two minutes.

This was my first time visiting Guilin, and after comparing many options, I finally chose this hotel. The experience far exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and bright, impeccably clean, and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were very convenient. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive, proactively recommending sightseeing routes and local restaurants. The Guilin rice noodles at breakfast were authentic, and returning to the hotel after a long day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. The comfortable accommodations greatly enhanced my entire trip, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin.

This hotel is super conveniently located near the Wanda commercial area. The room was fantastic, quite spacious, clean, and the bedding was really comfortable. The front desk service was incredibly attentive; they asked about my room preferences during check-in and gave me a quiet room facing the residential area. The hotel also has a breakfast restaurant, a gym, and a laundry room, so the facilities are quite comprehensive.
