The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The river-view room offered a fantastic view of the Sun and Moon Pagodas, and the night scenery was absolutely beautiful. The service was also great, especially Zhao Fuming from room 310, who helped us solve many small issues; his attitude was wonderful and he was very capable. Also, a big thank you to the young man from the front desk, number 320, who actively helped us with our luggage and even took it all the way to the parking lot. He was hardworking and had a great attitude, truly commendable. I also have to mention my surprise with the Didi driver; the order clearly stated going to the high-speed rail station, implying luggage, yet he didn't pull up to the lobby entrance. Next time I'm in Guilin, I'll definitely choose the Lijiang Waterfall Hotel again. Highly recommended.

The Lijiang River flows right by our window, and in the distance, you can see Seven Star Crag. The ambiance is top-notch, and the location is absolutely superb. Breakfast was good, and the service was decent. As it was a holiday period, the price was quite steep. My only slight dissatisfaction was that once a reservation is made, it cannot be canceled, and a full payment is still required even if you cancel. This feels a bit petty and not what you'd expect from a renowned international brand.

Staying at the Jingxiang Hotel, I was immediately struck by the beautiful and stylish Chinese-inspired decor in the lobby. I imagine many long-time Guilin residents are familiar with this hotel, as it's been around for years. It boasts the best location yet remains unpretentious, focusing on service and attention to detail, which made me feel completely at ease. The room was spacious and uncrowded, with wooden floors that added a touch of quality. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene. The overall experience was excellent. On the seventh floor, there's a prime spot for taking photos, as shown in picture three. It was cloudy during our stay, but the atmospheric photos I took still blew up my朋友圈 (Moments). I'm sure the pictures would be even better on a sunny day. Oh, and if your stay includes breakfast, be sure to wake up early and enjoy the rich and delicious spread. Sitting at a table with a direct view of Elephant Trunk Hill while enjoying a sumptuous breakfast – perhaps this is one of those moments in life where you just want to exclaim how wonderful everything is. (The breakfast really was incredibly good and plentiful!)

5 star hotel of international standard with quality furnishings and spacious room and separate bathroom. Good bell boy service and good in house resturant. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room with balcony and a fantastic view of the mountains. There are no local shops or restaurants within walking distance, but this is a plus as you don't have crowds outside the hotel. I had problem with we chat and Serena. One of the front desk was most helpful and spend ample time to go through my internet settings. Taxi service is cheap and most taxi trip is not more than 25 rmb which is about 6 dollars Australian. Front desk staff send us to Good quality local restaurants as we wanted to try authentic local restaurants. Probably the best in quilin

We were pleasantly surprised when the front desk upgraded us for free to the last available river-view room upon our late-night arrival. We even got to experience the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere with a bamboo pole dance and fireworks on the rooftop, which was a unique experience in a different city. In the morning, I woke up early to watch the sunrise from the rooftop, and the view of the mountains, rivers, and bamboo rafts was absolutely beautiful and serene. The hotel facilities are very comprehensive, and a big shout-out to staff members #12 and #48 for their excellent service! 👍🏻 The only minor downsides were that the road leading to the hotel at night was quite dark with few streetlights. Also, I'd suggest putting an air freshener in the bathroom, as there was a not-so-fresh smell, I'm not sure if it was residual plastic or something else.

I've always kept an eye on Club Med, and this summer, after a lot of research, I decided to go for the all-inclusive Club Med Guilin, mainly because I was worried about crowded attractions. Plus, Guilin is close to us. The room was definitely too small, and the decor felt a bit dated. For over 3,000 RMB a night for our family of three, the living conditions didn't quite match the price. However, the good outweighed the bad. The activities at Club Med were incredibly rich and varied; my child was busy from morning till night. Dropping them off at the Mini Club really freed up our hands as adults. We'd pick them up around 3 PM for afternoon tea and swimming, and then there were evening shows. The sheer number of activities was fantastic! My only gripe was that the Mini Club didn't provide any photo updates. As a parent, I'd really love to see what my child is up to during activities. The service was quite attentive, and even though the resort is huge, you can always call for a shuttle to get around. The buffet in the restaurant offered a decent variety, but the taste was just average, on par with a 100 RMB buffet outside. The G.O.s were very enthusiastic. It also happened to be my husband's birthday during our stay, and a G.O. came with a cake to celebrate during dinner, which was a nice touch. Our butler, Donna, was very responsive to all our questions. We stayed for three days and two nights, and there were so many activities that we couldn't try them all, leaving us with a reason to come back next time.

Plus, there are electric scooters right downstairs, ready for use whenever you need them. 👏 **Cleanliness:** The cleanliness was quite good overall. As someone who's a bit of a neat freak, I did tidy away some decorative items and gave surfaces an extra wipe, but I was still impressed. 👏 **Facilities:** The facilities were decent and functional. There were no old or persistent stains, which was a big plus. And they even had automated curtains – pretty cool! 👏 **Service:** This truly deserves a special shout-out! The hotel proactively upgraded our room type. The location is excellent, with a quiet surroundings. There's a convenience store right next to the hotel, a rice noodle shop across the street, a KFC nearby, and the A-Gan restaurant. It's also quite close to attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill and the Sun and Moon Pagodas. Getting to Mopanshan Pier the next day was also very convenient.
