How much does it cost for flights when traveling to the Philippines?

When planning a trip to the Philippines, one of the most important factors to consider is the cost of flights. The cost of flights to the Philippines can vary depending on various factors such as the departure location, time of year, airline, and availability.

If you are departing from major cities in the United States such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, or New York, you can expect to pay anywhere from $500 to $1,000 for a round-trip economy class ticket to the Philippines. However, prices can fluctuate depending on the time of year you plan to travel, with peak travel seasons such as Christmas and summer months typically being more expensive.

How much does it cost for hotels when traveling to the Philippines?

How much does it cost for hotels when traveling to the Philippines

When planning a trip to the Philippines, one of the most important things to consider is the cost of accommodation. The cost of hotels in the Philippines varies depending on several factors, such as the location, season, and the type of accommodation the travelers are looking for.

  • Generally, hotels in major cities like Manila, Cebu, and Davao tend to be more expensive than hotels in smaller cities or rural areas. For example, a mid-range hotel room in Manila can cost anywhere from 2,000 to 5,000 PHP (40 to 100 USD) per night, while a luxury hotel room can cost upwards of 10,000 PHP (200 USD) per night.
  • In other cities and smaller towns in the Philippines, the hotel price range is generally lower. For instance, a mid-range hotel room in Cebu can cost around 1,500 to 3,000 PHP (30 to 60 USD) per night, while a luxury hotel room can cost around 7,000 to 8,000 PHP (140 to 160 USD) per night.

Hotel prices can fluctuate depending on the time of year and availability. During peak season, which is usually from December to February, hotel prices tend to be higher. On the other hand, hotel prices may be lower during the off-season, which is from June to September.

If you're looking for budget-friendly accommodation, there are also plenty of hostels and guesthouses in the Philippines that offer affordable rates. These types of accommodations can cost as low as 500 PHP (10 USD) per night.

Our experience at the new coast hotel: The staff was super friendly and helpful The room was clean. House keeping provided the supplies on time. The breakfest was good with a range of foods to select And it is near the bay area, which has the ocean park Check in and out was quick Dislikes The construction woke me up and didn't let me sleep The view from my room was a construction site picture attached Every time we entered, we were searched and walked through a scanner I hope this review helps. All in all, we have a pleasant stay at the hotel. I hope the renovation are over soon.

The hotel is great! Even though it's an older property, the facilities are still very good, and the breakfast spread is excellent. It's located right next to Koreatown, and you just have to cross the street to get to Manila Bay – it's the perfect spot for stunning sunset photos. The lobby staff are also incredibly welcoming.

This has been my 12th stay in this hotel and I would still discover amazing things about Manila Prince Hotel. This stay I learned that they have a medical clinic 24 hours and I availed of the shuttle service to the nearby shopping mall for free. Food by Chef Bobby is delicious and the charm of their manager, Ms Bambi. We stayed her for more than a week now and will stay on for another booking. Also, a catholic church is 3 minutes away and I was able to attend mass.

Affordable hotel at the heart of Manila Chinatown! If you want to experience Manila Chinatown, the world's oldest chinatown, then the Ramada is the best place to start. I took a Binondo Food crawl and decided to book a room so I can fully enjoy Binondo. The room was quite spacious, wide doors and hallways (good access for people on wheelchairs), and quiet. Surprisingly very quiet! Despite it's very central and busy location, I was able to sleep and rest quietly. Aside from the occasional church bell, you won't really hear much of the noise from downstairs. As yu step out of the hotel lobby, you will be welcomed by the hustle and bustle of Binondo. Food stalls and restaurants everywhere. It is a gastronomic adventure and a shopper's paradise. Just a few steps away from the long lines of foodies are bazaars and shops where you can find anything from clothes to jewelry to Chinese charms. At the top of the hotel is Mento, their in-house dining spot, their breakfast buffet is decent but nothing too exciting. You may skip this and go straight outside, you'll need your appetite to fully experience all the food choices available. Just be ready to fall in line for minutes, some really popula shops have lines that go for hours! Overall the hotel is nice, comfortable and quiet. It may feel a bit old, and could use some refurbishing, but I say that's part of the Binondo charm. Old city, rich in tradition, but feels quite like home.

The Christmas decorations around the property added a beautiful, festive atmosphere. Value worth. The ambiance is pretty much rustic with small pool area quite different from other hotels in Manila, it was tucked in an alley (easy access)from Manila Bayview Tower. The staff were smiley warm and accomodating and helpful from the doorman to the cleaners, I guess its becos of good management? They have drinking water, hot n cold shower, we were used to the window type ac noise, not for light sleepers. The breakfast is plated generously. Lovely place in middle of Intramuros, and the staff is just amazing! They go beyond for their services. Their food is also very nice. Yet, the area is not suitable to walk around at night, and far away from anything else that is interesting, besides Intramuros (which you have covered within the day). Also, with the limited facilities and bit of old building feelings, it is overpriced compared to cheaper, more modern hotels in (esp) Makati, where you can also move freely around. It was nice to stay for 1 night, but might not come back again.

The room was fantastic—spacious, modern, and incredibly clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, making it easy to get a great night's sleep. The shower was also excellent, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water, which is always a plus after a long day. Breakfast at the hotel was also great. With big variety and good quality of the food. From fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes, everything was delicious and well-prepared. However, the check-in process was a bit slow. It seemed like the front desk was understaffed or perhaps dealing with a system issue, which caused some delays. Additionally, I was disappointed to find out that the swimming pool was under renovation during my stay. It would have been nice to know this in advance, as I was looking forward to using it after a long day in a car. Despite these minor inconveniences, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider returning.

I nearly paid 500 € per night and received an old room without any additional benefits. A Hairdryer needs to be requested. The Eqipment for snorkling is from the poorest quality and the glasses for complementary water at the pool have seen better days 10 years ago. Great location and services from ground staff especially the bellhop and housekeeping. The only problem is the smell coming from the carpet. That’s the only issue we have during our stay that it triggers my asthma. But good job for quickly rectifying the issue, moving us to another room. Over all, I am a very satisfied guest. Will come back soon to your hotel.

Breakfast was great. The location is excellent, close to everything, and easy to find. My only minor issues were the lack of in-room slippers and no toiletries provided. However, they made up for it by offering unlimited drinking water conveniently located just outside the room.

The first room I was given had no working lights and was very dim. I requested a transfer, but the new room also had issues—the air conditioning was not working properly. Unfortunately, both rooms were uncomfortable, and I was quite disappointed with the experience. The photos show the lights that are not working. They mentioned that replacements have already been ordered. If that is the case, the customer will need to make the necessary adjustments in the meantime.

The property is located in business area. The hotel has an access to the mall, reason why you don’t have to worry where to eat, where to shop and where to hangout. The staff are very gracious and polite to help you. Buffet breakfast is a must for all to avail yourself when you book this property because of its wide selection and good food tastes. I used the gym twice during my stay. It’s small but enough to satisfy my need. Overall, I’m going to stay in Seda Ayala central block when I visit Cebu on the next Sinulog Fiesta.

Thank you, Holiday Inn Cebu. My family and I had a great time staying there for a few days. Lovely was truly lovely—it really suited her name. She was the most accommodating from the very start. We wanted to thank her again during check-out, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to see her. She went above and beyond in hospitality, and you’re lucky to have her. Keep up the great work. As for breakfast—OMG, we loved it! Special mention to the one who makes the coffee. Just a small note: it would be nice to improve or change the chafing dishes so the food stays hot. Other than that, the food and service were great. I will definitely choose this hotel from now on, as we always stay in the city for a few days before heading to our rest house. See you again soon, and thank you for the birthday cake and balloons!
