I'm a tourist from Japan, and this was my first time visiting Manila, staying for only one day. I had to pay a cash deposit at check-in, but it was refunded without any issues at check-out. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, making for a pleasant stay. The shower pressure was a bit weak, but it wasn't particularly inconvenient. The hotel is located deep within Chinatown, but it's still conveniently situated for sightseeing. There were many tourists and shoppers around, and I felt safe walking out until around 8 PM. Since I enjoy walking, I even explored Intramuros on foot. Considering the price, this hotel offers excellent value for money. However, after waiting for around 30 minutes without any callback, I had to follow up myself. During the follow-up, she asked for details I had already communicated earlier, which made it seem like the information was not properly noted or attended to. On the third day, I needed to extend my booking again. To avoid the same experience, I went directly to the front desk. Unfortunately, she was again the one available. Despite my previous experience, I still chose to give her another chance, hoping for a better interaction. However, the experience remained the same. Because of this, instead of extending my stay further, I decided to transfer to another hotel. I hope this feedback is received constructively. Frontline staff play a crucial role in shaping the overall guest experience. I was so disappointed. The shower host from the bathroom was defective but in fairness it was repaired on the 2nd day midnight. And also no rubber bathroom mat (since the bathroom floor tiles is slippery) . They only produce the mat after my sister a pwd has warned them for any accident that she may incurred the front desk will be responsible. While the water heater is not 24 hours based on their post. Water heater resume on my 3rd day stay. The four treadmills at the gym are also not working it is all under maintenance. In regards i think this hotel needs already a fully renovation.

Compliments to the staffs that check my room upon check out and found my glasses I forgot to pack. They returned it almost immediately upon check out. Compliments to the guards outside as well, they escorted us especially at night to the other side to get to the mall due to crazy traffic haha ! If I had to pick a flaw, it's that compared to the bai and Holiday Inn hotels, the Marriott doesn't have a doorman. No one came forward to help with my luggage when I got out of the car. The biggest issue was the security check upon entry; I had to unload my luggage from the car and then lift it onto the X-ray machine, which was truly frustrating.

The only downside is that breakfast gets incredibly crowded; it seems like many people who aren't even staying at the hotel come just for the breakfast, leading to long queues every morning. I had a great time only this last visit was not very memorable. I usually experienced a great hospitality and friendly staff, we encountered unfriendly staff and not very accommodating staff early morning on our first day in the hotel. I was surprised because I know that Filipinos are very accommodating, cheerful and very accommodating. This staff named Anton who’s a driver of a buggy who drives around the hotel to move and to visit the vicinity. Me and my family likes to see and visit different restaurants so we could try different cuisine but this driver couldn’t even smile and keeps on rejecting our requests. We just asked to wait because my aunt needs to get her medication for her allergy but he told us that he can’t wait and they can’t even wait a little while. But because I was afraid that my aunt could have been sick so I insisted and asked him to wait just a quick one. I even informed the manager whose name was Paige regarding our concern. Your establishment should have a more considerate staff. Hope this feedback will help. Thank you.

You can snorkel infront of the resort with so many different kind of fish, I was amazed! The resort even packed me a breakfast box when I had to leave early in the mornings for activities.
