East Railway Station Area Hangzhou|6.28km from city center
Traveling solo to Hangzhou, I carefully selected this Jinjiang Metropolo Hotel, which is conveniently located near Hangzhou East Railway Station and multiple metro lines. I stayed for five nights and was extremely satisfied with everything! 👍 The hotel's location is excellent! It's just two or three hundred meters, a mere few minutes' walk, from the East Station and several metro lines. This made getting around daily incredibly convenient, saving a lot of time and reducing physical exertion. The area around the hotel is quiet and free from noise, which is great for rest. You need a key card to access the elevator, ensuring no unauthorized people are around, so it feels very safe and secure. The hotel is clean and hygienic. The elevator, corridors, and room cleanliness were all impeccable. Staying for several days was comfortable and pleasant. Breakfast is served in the Cantonese restaurant next to the hotel on the first floor. The variety is rich, and the food is high-quality and delicious – excellent! 👍 The front desk service was warm and attentive; they answered all my questions, which I really appreciated! 👍 Across from the hotel is a large shopping center, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. As someone who travels frequently, Jinjiang Metropolo is one of the best quality, most convenient, and comfortable hotels I've ever stayed in. This is my genuine experience, and it's worth sharing! 👍

Came to Binjiang for a late-night dog walk and to pet some dogs. The hotel location is great, with delicious Ouji Food Stall and Sister Zhou's Chicken Rack nearby. After check-in, the hotel upgraded my room. The room was very clean. I informed the hotel I have rhinitis, and they even turned on the air purifier in the room beforehand. The front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were all very friendly and responsive to requests. The only minor issue is that the robot delivery service can sometimes be a bit slow, so you might need to wait patiently. During my stay, entering and exiting the parking lot was easy; just contact the front desk with your license plate number. There are dedicated hotel parking spaces on B2 and a Tesla Supercharger on B1. There's also a NIO Power Swap Station outside the building, making it super convenient for getting around.

The elevator in the arranged room is particularly far away, but the room has fruit to send. The mattress and pillows in the room are also very comfortable to sleep. The cooperative laundry room pays attention to the washing machine cleaning. There are black fluffs on the quilt sheets, but it doesn't matter. I have cleanliness but not much. There are quite a lot of breakfast types. There are robots for takeaways that can be delivered to the room. In addition, it is recommended that some alcohol cotton pads and disposable toilet pads be placed in the hotel room.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! I've always loved Atour, and my trip to Hangzhou was no exception. I chose the one closest to the Olympic Sports Center. As soon as I arrived, I was warmly greeted with a thoughtful tea service, which instantly made me feel welcome. The room was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay; the quality is truly top-notch. Breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options, and every bite was satisfying. They were also very prompt in refilling everything. The front desk handled check-in quickly, and their service was enthusiastic and meticulous. When checking out, a staff member proactively offered me water, and even the invoice processing was fast and accurate. The attention to detail was perfect. I went to Hangzhou alone to do visa stuff. The receptionists at the front desk lobby were very helpful. The beautiful receptionist named Zhao Mujie went out of her way to accompany me to the police station to register. Also thank you to the rest of the staff, for asking information for me for my visa. Zhao Mujie helped me translate to the officer. I really really appreciate all the help. I also would like to say thank you to Xiao Song, the other receptionist, who had been so courteous and helpful during my stay. They really made sure to give me excellent customer service by trying not to trouble me as much as possible. I am extremely grateful for their assistance. 🙏😊🥰 谢谢!

Hot spring

Hangzhou|98.66km from city center
i have been to the hot springs three times before but I had never stayed at the hotel. This was my first time. I imagine the receptionist felt a little nervous when faced with two foreigners and maybe she felt shy. However, I found her lack of greeting, not a 你好 or 下午好, a little cold. When she did communicate with us, it was in super fast Mandarin to which I requested 请慢慢说 to no avail. She repeated just as fast twice more. I felt frustrated and then resorted to using a translation app. She called over an English-speaking Indonesian staff member. I don’t have the expectation that people will speak English to me, but I do appreciate slowing down in Mandarin and using simpler language. Hand gestures help a lot also. I wish she had told us the WiFi password, and where to access the hot springs. These are two key pieces of information a receptionist should provide when you check into a hot springs hotel. Our room had plastic flip flops to be worn to the hot springs. My pair had two left feet. When I showed the staff member on the second floor, she was helpful and got me a new pair. The hot springs were lovely, as usual. The buffet breakfast was better than the buffet dinner. The layout of the hotel leaves you walking from building to building. At first it’s confusing, but then it becomes okay.

Stay in a Thai-style hotel nestled in the mountains, a place perfect for lounging. Tucked away at the foot of Tianmu Mountain, the Dusit Thani Hotel is a breathtaking sight after the rain—mountains tinged with indigo, shrouded in mist. Surrounded by bamboo forests and flowing streams, the view from the window reveals a panorama of peaks, a tranquil retreat that soothes time and refreshes the mind. The distant mountains and sky are reflected in the scenery, creating stunning photos. I contacted the hotel in advance about my stay, and the front desk staff were friendly and efficient that day. I love this hotel so much! The environment here is beautiful and the air is fresh, which makes me feel physically and mentally comfortable. What I am particularly satisfied with is that you can fish and enjoy a variety of flowers in the hotel. Moreover, the hotel also provided the opportunity to take photos wearing Hanfu and cheongsam, which made me feel the strong cultural atmosphere. In addition, the hotel’s homemade green plum wine and green plum sauce are so delicious! Every bite is full of the sweetness of fresh fruits, which makes me have endless aftertaste. The breakfast and a la carte dishes are also very delicious. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family so they can experience the beauty and uniqueness of this place. Thanks again to the hotel team for providing me with such an excellent service and an unforgettable experience. I wish you to prosper and continue to bring wonderful experiences to every guest!

West Lake, Lingyin Temple Scenic Area Hangzhou|10.67km from city center
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Secluded Sanctuary Beyond All Expectations My stay at Yunzhongjing Resort Hotel was absolutely perfect, far exceeding any five-star standard! It truly deserves the highest praise from every aspect. 🏞️ Unbeatable Environment and Location The hotel is tucked away within the Yunqi Bamboo Path scenic area, one of the Ten Scenes of West Lake. Surrounded by countless towering bamboo stalks, the environment is so serene it feels like a secret garden. As the only hotel within the scenic area, we enjoyed the privilege of private bamboo forest moments after the crowds dispersed in the mornings and evenings—an experience ordinary tourists simply can't have. 🐠 Stunning Room Design with Impeccable Details Our Secret Realm Suite featured a massive floor-to-ceiling aquarium, as if Atlantis itself had been brought into our room. Watching the tropical fish swim by was incredibly therapeutic. The room amenities were thoughtfully designed: Acqua di Parma toiletries, a Dyson hairdryer, high-quality bedding (Mengbaili Conrui mattress and zero-pressure memory pillows). All imported drinks and snacks in the minibar were complimentary, and even the drinking water was fresh Hupao Spring water delivered daily, accompanied by premium Longjing tea. Details truly define quality. 💁 Attentive and Thoughtful Butler Service From the moment of booking confirmation, our butler contacted us in advance to understand our needs and any dietary restrictions. During our stay, any questions were met with almost instant replies and swift resolutions. The service was warm and professional, making us feel respected with VIP treatment throughout. Every evening, we received a thoughtfully prepared sweet bedtime soup (like goji berry, white fungus, and quail egg soup), which was a truly heartwarming touch. 🍽️ Excellent Dining Experience For breakfast, we had a choice of Chinese or Western options, both beautifully presented and delicious. The Chinese Pian'erchuan noodles used freshly dug bamboo shoots from Meijiawu, bursting with flavor. For dinner, we tried the hotel's creative fusion cuisine, blending French, Italian, and Southeast Asian flavors. The Dongpo pork was famously melt-in-your-mouth without being greasy, leaving a lasting impression. 🏊 Exquisite Facilities and Public Areas The infinity heated pool hidden amidst the bamboo forest was another major highlight. Especially in the evening when the lights came on, swimming under the stars with the bamboo shadows created an absolutely incredible atmosphere. The hotel's overall design is a fusion of oriental aesthetics and modern art, with beautiful vistas at every turn, perfect for photos. All in all, Yunzhongjing is not just a place to stay; it's a holistic healing journey. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, celebrating an anniversary, or simply seeking a place to unwind, this is an excellent choice. While the price may be steep, the unique experience, impeccable details, and unparalleled environment are absolutely worth every penny. I can't wait to visit again!

I booked a ticket on May Day and wanted to go to the mountains. On the one hand, I wanted to relax and lie down, and on the other hand, I wanted to take my kids to experience camping. Overall, the environment is very good, the photos are very good, the facilities and services cannot be compared with four-star or five-star hotels. If I actively strive for it, it can basically meet my demands; I think my feelings will be average; 1. Oven-baked pizza: The children were very enthusiastic in this link. The uncle who was burning the fire was very good. He wiped the table, helped the children bake 🍕, took the baking tray, and cooperated with taking photos. The uncle inadvertently said ”I will respond to any request”, which shows that the uncle has a very good sense of service; ps: This uncle is the only person in this valley with a very good sense of service; the aunt who distributed the dough was a little worse in comparison. She was unwilling to run errands and would complain that everyone used more cheese. 2. Cabin facilities: The environment and appearance are better. The items can only be said to be basically sufficient. The bed is comfortable and toothpaste and toothbrush are also provided; the luggage is not big and there is no place to put it, the mosquito lamp is broken, the plug has no USB interface and no Apple TPC socket, the two plugs at the head of the bed are not powered at night, there is no anti-slip mat in the bathroom, and there are no pajamas. 3. Overall service: The service here is ”as planned”. If it weren't for Hangzhou, it might not be so bad. Hangzhou is a place where even the government provides ”one-time visit at most”. Here, some requests can only be met if you actively request and can tolerate the service staff's face: for example, you need to get two more bottles of water, an umbrella, or an unplanned meal, etc. The bonfire party started at 19:30. The uncle who sent fireworks was also good, but the bonfire was just a bundle of firewood, and it was over when it burned. There is KTV, but no movies.

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, with an excellent location overlooking the Fuchun River. When we arrived, because we had a lot of luggage, the lady in charge of the door (should be a lobby leader) personally took us to the door of the room and called several employees to help us move our luggage. When we had dinner in the evening, not only was there a river view, but the waiters were also very thoughtful. The next day, I took the hotel elevator to the fourth floor and suddenly found a paradise on the top of the mountain, with lambs, alpacas and other small animals. I found them round and clean. I felt that the hotel was also very kind to animals, which was very touching. In addition, the hotel restaurant has a wall with blue sky and white clouds and cartoon characters of Hayao Miyazaki, which makes people feel the deep care. Like, like, recommend!

Traveling during the off-season was a great experience. The shuttle service was available on demand. We visited the mountain views and the summit that afternoon and the following morning. The 'Four Woods' area was under renovation, so my family of three had the hot springs all to ourselves – it was incredibly refreshing, and the water was clean. Breakfast offered a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options. Dinner was a Chinese set meal, and the portion for three people was more than sufficient and tasted good, especially the steamed bighead carp, which was fresh and delicious. Any issues that arose were promptly handled and resolved, and the staff's attitude was excellent. The only minor drawback is that the hotel's location is a bit remote, which could be inconvenient if you don't have your own car. I highly recommend visiting during the off-season.

Hangzhou, a city that seamlessly blends traditional charm with modern vibrancy, never ceases to amaze me with every visit! The picturesque scenery of West Lake is like something out of a painting; strolling along its shores with a gentle breeze, you feel as if you're stepping into a traditional Jiangnan ink wash painting. The Sofitel hotel, a seasoned five-star establishment, is truly excellent. I got an upgraded executive king room, which offered fantastic value for money. And the modern landmarks in Qianjiang New City are even more breathtaking: the 'Big Lotus' Olympic Sports Center, the main venue for the Asian Games, boasts an elegant design resembling a blossoming flower; the 'Big Golden Ball' G20 Summit venue shines with a golden glow, a testament to its role in international events; and the Unitree Robotics' tech show showcases the city's futuristic innovation. Public transport is convenient and direct, and the warm hospitality of the Hangzhou people adds to the city's appeal. In short, Hangzhou is a treasure city where tradition and modernity intertwine. Located in the West Lake area, right opposite Su Causeway and next to Yue Fei Temple and Quyuan Garden, the hotel boasts an absolutely fantastic location. The hotel is quite old, perhaps its main selling point is its nostalgic charm. It's a completely different style from the newly renovated Water Charm Residence, and naturally, the prices reflect that difference. We stayed there over Chinese New Year, hoping to watch the Spring Festival Gala, but the TV was too small, making it a bit difficult to watch. While TVs aren't used as frequently nowadays, if they're provided, it would be great if they were more up-to-date. I also accidentally noticed that the emergency flashlight was broken, which should really be checked regularly. Despite its age, the hotel's cleanliness is on point; at least in my room, the bathroom had no mold spots, and the room was very tidy. What I was most satisfied with during my stay was the service, especially at breakfast. During Chinese New Year, it was incredibly crowded with limited seating, but the restaurant staff managed everything in an orderly fashion. They would help the elderly, and when they overheard guests leaving and mentioning they forgot to eat fruit, they'd offer forks or advise which fruits could be eaten by hand. Seeing these thoughtful gestures truly warmed my heart.

Everything else was great, but there's one thing I don't understand: why can't we use the delivery robot when they clearly have one? They insist that food deliveries be placed in the delivery locker for me to pick up myself. At first, I thought the delivery drivers were just being lazy, but after several times sitting in the lobby waiting for my food, I personally saw staff instruct drivers to put it in the locker and politely refuse to use the robot for delivery. However, what truly stood out was their exceptional service. A family member wasn't feeling well and needed assistance, and when we called for help from a staff member at 1 AM, there was not a single complaint. Let's get straight to the point: our holiday trip to Senbo was a success, all thanks to our butler, Tongtong. She sent thoughtful reminders about things to note, and even helped us extend the validity of our Fantasyland tickets. My child didn't want to leave, and Tongtong even sorted out a nail clipper issue late at night. We had a late check-out at 12 PM because my child loves to sleep in, and Tongtong happily accommodated our request. At check-out, she thoughtfully gave us a New Year photo frame, which added a lovely touch! Everyone had a great time. A huge thank you to Tongtong! Wishing Tongtong a smooth and happy new year at work! Facilities: The hotel had everything a child could possibly need – it was beyond my expectations. There was nothing they didn't have, only things you might not end up using. Environment: Lots of greenery, and we stayed in a wooden cabin. There were no issues with soundproofing; even with rain at night, we couldn't hear a thing once the patio door was closed. Service: Although our cabin was a bit far, the shuttle buses arrived quickly, usually within five minutes. Since we were with a child, the shuttle drivers would always get out and help us when they parked. All the hotel staff were so friendly and greeted us whenever we saw them.

This hotel has a Muji-esque vibe. The upgraded room allowed me to enjoy a bath with mountain views through the glass, and the minimalist wooden decor and expansive green balcony with floor-to-ceiling windows really brightened my mood. It's not far from the subway; navigation made it easy to find. After climbing a few steps and walking up a slope along a straight, tree-lined path, you arrive at the intersection with plane and ginkgo trees. It's only one stop from Tianmuli, which is super convenient for a day out – you can spend the whole day there seeing exhibitions, browsing shops, dining, having coffee, and taking photos of the architecture and trees. Zhejiang University, Wetland Park, and the Botanical Garden are also within a few stops, and it's only six stops to the city center, which is quite ideal. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was diverse and delicious – definitely worth trying!

Liangzhu Cultural Village Hangzhou|16.58km from city center
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, located right within the resort. I especially want to commend the lovely and charming front desk staff, Judy. She called me in advance to confirm and helped upgrade us to a suite, and even turned on the AC to warm up the room about half an hour before we checked in. She also assisted with a late check-out before we left. Her service was polite, kind, and absolutely perfect! Also, a shout-out to a super tall, nearly 1.9m handsome guy (I forgot to ask his name, but on the evening of December 3rd, around 9 PM, after we checked in at the front desk, he escorted us to our room and introduced all the facilities. He was very polite and thorough). All the staff, including housekeepers and security, were courteous, warm, and helpful. The upgraded suite was spacious and comfortable, with a huge bed and comfy pillows. The hotel breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of choices, both Chinese and Western. The freshly baked *shaobing* and freshly ground coffee were particularly impressive, and the soy milk and regular milk were fragrant and delicious. The hotel is super close to Liangzhu Museum, just over a ten-minute walk (it's a bit of a distance to the archaeological park, so you'd need a taxi). You can also walk about 10 minutes to visit the exquisite and artistic Yuniu Market. We happened to run into Li Yitong filming there, which was quite lively.

West Lake, Lingyin Temple Scenic Area Hangzhou|4.64km from city center
The hotel's location is a major plus, right by the lake, which is fantastic. You could spend half a day just exploring the grounds, which offer a perfect blend of cultural landmarks and natural beauty. It’s ideal for leisurely strolls and taking photos. They have charging stations for electric vehicles (State Grid and TELD) located on the hillside opposite the coffee shop in Building 8. My room was in the furthest part of Building 8 and was generally fine, but the soundproofing wasn't great. There was a lot of noise that night from tree maintenance on Yanggong Causeway. The buffet dinner and breakfast were both good and I'd recommend them.

West Lake, Lingyin Temple Scenic Area Hangzhou|3.65km from city center
Half of Hangzhou's beauty lies with West Lake, and nestled within the continuous mountains west of West Lake, there's a tranquil, undisturbed 'paradise'. Designed by a world-renowned landscape architect, and laid out in the style of a Southern Song imperial garden, a private garden has been meticulously crafted. This is today's star – The Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake. The hotel is situated right on West Lake, with scenic spots just outside its doors. It continues the style of a Southern Song imperial garden, combining the shimmering beauty of West Lake with elegant garden features, like a hidden paradise on the shores of West Lake, sketching this beautiful picture amidst the lake and mountains! The guest rooms are fully equipped, with exquisite attention to detail. They blend classical Chinese style with local Hangzhou cultural characteristics. Staying in the hotel, you can experience the quaint beauty of Jiangnan, with the sparkling West Lake outside your window, offering a warm and uniquely Chinese romantic ambiance! The Jiangnan Garden View Rooms are located on the first and second floors of the hotel, starting from 63 square meters. The rooms are comfortable and bright, with elegant and refined design and decor. Soft lighting creates a cozy atmosphere, and the picturesque lake, mountain, and pavilion views are all within sight. The service is impeccable, almost perfect, reflecting the quality and value expected from a luxury brand like Four Seasons! If I have the opportunity to visit Hangzhou again in the future, this will still be my top choice for accommodation!

Xixi Wetland Park Area Hangzhou|6.57km from city center
Nestled within the Xixi Wetland, the Banyan Tree Hangzhou offers an absolutely flawless stay! The surroundings are like a traditional Chinese ink painting of a Jiangnan water town. Opening the window reveals stunning wetland views – serene and inviting, truly a secluded haven not far from the city. The resort's private sculling boat allows you to enjoy an exquisite Western afternoon tea on the water, away from the crowds. Gliding along the winding waterways, with the gentle sway of the oars, you feel transported to a paradise, forgetting all worries and hustle. The service team is incredibly attentive, making you feel truly valued. Every design detail in the hotel is thoughtfully executed. We booked a suite, which was incredibly spacious, especially the walk-in closet and bathroom. The cleanliness was impeccable, with meticulous daily housekeeping. A special thank you to our wonderful manager, Jessica, who arranged everything from check-in onwards! She was so considerate and dedicated. Highly recommended! 🙏

Facilities: The facilities are decent. The rooms are a bit small. We had two rooms: one was a normal theme, and the other was an outdoor theme with a bathtub 🛁. It was super crowded during the Chinese New Year, so I didn't get a chance to ask why one room had a bathtub and the other didn't, haha. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: Very close to West Lake, it’s a pleasant walk. Suitable for families with elderly and children. Service: Even though it was very busy during Chinese New Year, the front desk staff were still very enthusiastic.

The hotel's location is truly excellent. The subway station is right at the entrance, Kerry Centre is across the street, and it's not far from Yintai. Dongdafang is right next door, and there are also snack shops selling noodles and wontons. The convenience is unbeatable. The room size isn't huge (which was clearly stated in the room details, so we were prepared), but the storage space design is very clever; there's a place for all sorts of small items. Even the soundproofing, which was heavily criticized in other reviews, wasn't an issue for us, perhaps because our room wasn't street-facing. Overall, our stay was comfortable, especially thanks to the truly wonderful staff. Before check-in, they proactively called to confirm our requests, and after check-in, they enthusiastically assisted with all our needs. They even offered hot porridge as a late-night snack during the Chinese New Year period, and the breakfast included porridge and noodles, which was very thoughtful for elderly guests and children. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and attentive. Oh, and the heating was incredibly strong! The central air conditioning didn't allow for temperature adjustments, so I recommend bringing thin pajamas if you're visiting in winter!

Out of the several cities we visited on our Chinese New Year road trip, this Hangzhou hotel definitely stood out as one of the best. I snapped a few quick photos before we left. The two 1.4-meter beds were perfect for our family of three, and the mattresses and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast spread offered a great variety, and every single staff member we encountered was warm and polite! The hotel's location is also excellent, making it convenient whether you're driving or taking the subway. We'll definitely choose this place first next time we visit Hangzhou!

The location was excellent, within 10 mins of walk to the lake, restaurants and shops. The main shopping area is also less than 15 mins away. Whilst the hotel has seen better days, its amenities are extremely clean. Front desk staff is also helpful and friendly, special call out to Xiao Pan and a few ladies on duty who always helped whenever I asked.  The only drawback is that the pillows are too soft for my liking. Morning breakfast was adequate although the venue is a bit dated.

I stayed at several hotels on my trip: Ningbo, Fuzhou, Changzhou, Kunshan, and finally Hangzhou! And that last one in Hangzhou was a real rip-off! I booked it mainly because they offered airport transfer. Even though it shared a front desk, the service seemed okay at first. But after I'd been sleeping for a bit, I regretted it. The bed was completely caved in, and I started feeling itchy all over. What a joke! That soft, saggy bed left me with aches and pains everywhere, especially where my bones touched it – it just created a deep dent. I guess I'll just give it a passable 3 stars.
