It has the typical amenities you would expect, toiletries, minibar etc. Lounge service was excellent - very friendly and helpful - and the canapes had some variety. Reserved a night birthday staycay of king premier room, including breakfast for 2, for my birthday via Trip.com app.
Check-in process was a breeze.
The customer service person surprised me with a huge birthday cookie and wish.
The amenities were ample and easy to locate.
If that was not enough, you can explore all around nearby attractions in always happening Orchard Road.
Square footage of the room was spacious for just the 2 of us.
Bathroom and soaking tub were well used.
With premier rooms & suites booking, we enjoyed complimentary experience at co-working space on level 15. Local snacks and free flow of choices of coffee, tea and other hot drinks from 8 AM to 8 PM. You can even order in-house food menu to be served there.
Got a complimentary parking.
Lastly and importantly, the breakfast spread.
Nasi lemak with specific sambal nasi lemak was so sedap. So was grilled prata pieces with dhal curry and there were yutiao...pastries...cold cut...porridge...congee...mushroom soup and oatmeal...breads and buns...and the list went on and on 😋
We were spoiled for choices of breakfast that served from 7 to 10 AM.
No fuss check-out.

We came to Marina Bay Sands hotel mainly for the famous Infinity Pool and we really loved the Infinity Pool! It was very safe and the view was beautiful! The hotel also had many other attractions that was amazing! The hotel is located in a perfect spot! If you just cross a road, there is a shopping mall perfect for dining if you want to go and eat outside and if you want to ride the metro, just simply walk for about three minutes. Something that I also really love is how good the room is! The room was massive, high tech and clean of course. I have not seen a cleaner clean my room but I have peeked inside other rooms that the cleaner was cleaning and I saw just how hard the cleaners try to clean the hotel rooms! Everything was so good and comfortable and clean! The view from inside a room and a window was spectacular! Everything went perfect including how nice the staffs were. Next time I come back to Singapore which will not be too long, I definitely want to come and stay in Marina Bay Sands Hotel again! I had the best time here and I strongly recommend this hotel if you come to Singapore.From$455

Stayed at this hotel for one night only but no complaints about their service and cleanliness as it was top class. Booked a good king room and got upgraded to great king room for free. Since we checked in quite late (6pm), receptionist extended our check out time to 12pm with no additional pay. Aware that room size in Singapore is quite small but the room that we were in was spacious enough for 4 of us (2 adults, 1 4yo kid, 1 baby). Location wise is perfect, very near to Bencoolen MRT. An interesting concept to try out if one hasn’t been in this layout before. We were greeted with welcome drinks. However MEMO brunch menu (see photos) which we ordered was disappointing and it’s not worth the dollars. Thank god we were given disc as hotel members otherwise it wouldn’t be worth. Nevertheless, the MEMO crew is friendly and polite, and their coffee and croissant are both good. For the amenities, we were disappointed that the treadmills were faulty during our stay. Our stay at Parkroyal was a breeze. Checking in was smooth. Requested for 2 single bed but didn't got it, wasn't any issue. Cleanliness is perfect 👍
Breakfast spread was superb as well. The kids enjoyed picking up food by themselves (with supervision as the plates & drinking glasses were made from ceramic which was quite heavy for the little ones)

Had one of the best experience staying here. We booked the Urban Suite room to celebrate my daughter’s 2nd birthday with our family members. Upon checking in, they gave my daughter a little box of chocolate which is so thoughtful. I went to ask for another one cause my daughter finished them up so quickly lol. And the receptionist took a bigger box this time and said to share with the whole family. How sweet. We had to wait a little longer for the room to be ready but it wasn’t really a big deal cause we could still wait in the room while they clean up the living room. The room we booked comes with breakfast but initially it’s at a restaurant which is not halal certified. Luckily there’s another restaurant that’s available for breakfast and it’s halal certified. So we were told to go there instead. There’s a playroom available near the lobby which is great to get the kids to play together. And we got a late check out at 3pm.From$256

The room looks old but is kept clean except for the blanket which have an obvious stain mark, but since its at the edge I'm willing to look past this.
Aircond controls seems to be not working, making the room very cold eventhough fan had been set lowest and temperature the highest. The floor being tiles only doesn't help as well.

As for cleanliness, they do not change your beddings or give you clean towels despite i am staying there for two weeks, but they do have washer and dryer but would be a hassle to wash them in such tiny spaces. They only sweep your room once a week. They only offer two numbers of small tubes of shampoos & shower gel.
Overall the room is small but still enough for me. My pantry was a co-living space and I’ve got a smoking neighbours. At night the smell will easily travel to your room. You need a towel to cover the seams below the doors to prevent that. Tv was good, the supplies at pantry were good too.
If I am coming back again? If there aren’t any rooms that is available in Singapore, I would.

This is not a 5 star hotel as what it claims to be. Lobby is small, the room is old, and water pressure of the bath room could be stronger. One of the room cards they gave me at the front desk was not working. Then the second time I had to go back to them for changing the room card was on that extra night I booked at the same room (it’s even done before arriving Singapore). I think their room card system is old and would not adjust accordingly to changes made to the bookings.
Therefore, I think it’s overpriced comparing to other hotels on the same street (Orchard Road)
If you viewed it as a four star, services in general was fine. Good choices and services for breakfasts.

It has a classy reception area with crystal hanging from the ceiling. This time round not sure if they have change to another lobby scent. Personally i do not like it… one had to wait for awhile to check in as there were many guests. Room is clean and all the room amenities are available. Maybe Accor could look into changing the towels as some are fraying off. Notice that this time round the lifts are very stuffy and it s seem to have no fan blowing in it. My second time having breakfast in Food exchange but this time is huge disappointment. The varieties has been reduced slightly. The section for porridge , dimsum… the stove is not really working. Hence the food is not hot. Compared to first time round, i dont think i will want to spend my money here.

- The floor are mostly not carpeted. So it’s quite cold whoever you walk around the room if u leave the air-con switched on most of the time.

The circumstances around our stay was very difficult but the management and staff at the Oakwood Studios made our stay most comfortable and we can’t thank them enough. This is not your typical service apartment but one with a special touch. And it seems to be popular with expats on short assignments to Singapore and families who have patients being treated at MT E Orchard or many of the other medical facilities across Singapore. Nestled across from York hotel and one building next to Quincy this is a most unique property. I have stayed at both the others in the past but I prefer Oakwood by far with its balcony in every room and clean and modern style with kitchenette. But it’s the people that made all the difference. I would like to specially thank Hitesh for going out of his way and even while on holiday to accommodate our ever changing dates and need for rooms. A big thanks to Nass as well for always stepping up and being most accommodating. Thank you Dan, Denise, Kym, Jet and Shobina for all the help at reception, with the brilliant breakfast boxes and recommendations. The residents loved the Thursday night cocktail and snacks which were complimentary and the many hidden outdoor places in the building (including the roof top pool). A must stay in Singapore for those planning to stay for a week or longer. At the time we were there, we heard that the Ascott group had bought Oakwood Studios. As good as the Ascott brand are themselves, I do hope they allow Oakwood Studios to retain its unique style and personality.

|0.96km from NewtonWhat an amazing last minute find Novotel Living was for us - it is serviced apartment accommodation, which is rare in Singapore. The minimum stay is 6 days but believe me it is so convenient to everything you could ever need. We stayed in a studio apartment for seven days, which was compact but had a small kitchen with generous fridge/freezer, 2 hotplate elements, rice cooker, frypan and a couple of pots, toaster and electric jug, with crockery etc supplied and a washing machine/drier or if you prefer a clothes rack can be requested and a dehumidifier can do the rest. The rooms are serviced every second day, I think, except for public holidays (Mon, Wed, Friday for us). The Location is perfect - 5 minute walk to Food Republic for multiple food options and an excellent I-Setan supermarket (opens at 10am) and Johan Paris bakery (opens earlier maybe 9am but unsure) for fresh bread and sweet treats. The Orchard MRT is only 5-6 minutes walk away and will take you virtually anywhere you need to go. There are multiple plazas within 10 minutes including Ion Orchard, Shaw House, Far East, Lucky etc where it is a shoppers paradise. The bed was comfortable, and extra towels etc are available between housekeeping visits. The pool is amazing - a toddlers pool with a small playground but the main pool is very large about 20+m x 15m approx starting at 1m at each end going to 2m in the centre 5m of the pool. It is refreshing and has sun-loungers and a couple of table and chairs and cabanas. A great set up and there is a gym but we didn't venture inside. The two lifts are prompt, despite being shared by guests and housekeeping staff and mostly less than a 1-2 minute wait. Reception staff extremely friendly as were the housekeeping staff - highly recommend and they have bigger 2 bedroom apartments and even a penthouse!

We thought that provision of sockets and USB sockets was good, although, as with many hotels, the guest who sleeps on the left side does not have a socket, whereas the other side has all controls. There were several issues, though, which could be improved: Our cases were left in an outside, covered area while waiting for check in. Because we did not think this was secure enough, we were not confident to leave our bag with our paperwork and valuables in it, and had to carry it around with us until we checked in. In hot weather, this was less than desirable. The shower and toilet share a door which slides across. This resulted in water from the shower spilling out into the main bathroom area. The TV had a fixed maximum volume (which is fine), but because of the size of the room, it was then difficult to hear the TV. It may be better to adjust it so that it cannot cause annoyance to neighbours, but is audible within the room.

The rain shower was HEAVEN and the beautiful COMO body wash, shampoos, etc. smelled so incredible I wanted to take them all home! Breakfast was included in our rate and was fantastic every single day. The breakfast to order was a highlight and we found there to be plenty of options to keep us satisfied over our 4 night stay. The freshly baked goods every morning are a real treat (balanced out with the delicious fresh fruit, of course). The service is a standout for this new hotel, it was exceptional in every area - everyone is very professional but also super friendly and personable. We thought this was a real point of difference and one of the many reasons we will return to this beautiful property. Every single staff member we interacted with was a delight, but special mentions to hotel staff Reina, Karl, Izhar, Kyle and of course the lovely Ivan in COMO Cuisine who we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with at breakfast every morning. Location is not very close to the city, need to take a taxi (5-15 points) If you bring children to play, it is not recommended to live here. The room is not small, the water and drinks in the fridge are free. There is a seating area on the roof of the hotel that feels good and it is very comfortable to sit in the evening. The only dissatisfaction is that there is no one at the front desk of this hotel. Check in and check out. It is very difficult to find someone in the middle. The service is not very timely. but

Though infrastructure is old it's a good place for a short getaway located at a quiet area in Steven's
We used the kitchen equipment though when we first check in the crockery were dirty and greasy.
Good thing thr service staff, gave us a sponge and detergent to clean up the crockery.
Overall, cleanliness can be improved but we sure did enjoy out stay.

|1.32km from NewtonI would like to give a shout out to the banquet staffs manning the B1 meeting and function rooms - Anand, Baharom and Rashid. Notwithstanding are the other staffs who help with the cleaning and miscellaneous matters. I regularly conducts workshops there. On the mornings that I arrive at the hotel, without fail, I will be greeted by their warm greetings - as in I can feel the genuine warmth in our interactions. One can't help but feel not just welcomed, but as if one belongs. Whenever I need assistance - be it for extra materials or the projector is not working well enough or my participants have a special request; anything - these staffs NEVER SAY NO. They will try their best to accommodate and will always come up with an alternative if the need be. I was never disappointed. Above all, they NEVER make you feel like you are asking for too much, or that you are inconveniencing them. There will always be smiles and the ”I will see to it that this will be sorted” vibe. The sincerity and consistency are omnipresent. Your hotel is a 4-star property, yet other 5-star hotels need to take a cue from these staffs. I have been to many other hotels, and none can compare to the hospitality I get from your staffs. I also know this does not happen just because I've become a regular face there, as I remember back in 2015, I when I first received the same kind of hospitality from them. Thank you!
