TST is a great place to stay because there’s always life and something open late at night. The hotel is on the east side and has within the direct vicinity everything you need from tailors to corner stores, fancy restos, quick and cheap eateries, shisha bars and everyday massage places. Most people would probably walk out of of the hotel towards the bay (walking distance crossing pedestrian bridge to Bruce Lee statue) but if you walk inlands through the alley (or walk around or through the Peninsula building/mall to avoid the kids seeing the explicit **********) there’s a big square with the cheaper end amenities.
Our rooms were on the 15th top floor which gives every lift ride the wonderful view of the transition from enclosed lobby to open restaurant inner courtyard but once atop, the railings are on and off glass with a direct view of the actual height between your floor and the restaurant buffet on the third!!
We purchased flight and one night in a package deal and decided to stay and extend for two nights and the staff were kind enough to waive the extra fees for the upgraded larger rooms our original package offered. 1506 was our corner room giving you just about a glimpse of the bay from either side and 1518 was an extra large room perfect for the kids and to organise the extra shopping we did in Mong Kok.
No special amenities for children however, I even had to ask for an extra towel for our third child.

However, at 3 PM, a bump inexplicably appeared on my foot. I thought it was just a regular mosquito bite and didn't pay much attention to it. But around 8 PM, two or three more bumps appeared on my body. By 11 PM, I had accumulated five or six red, swollen, itchy, and unbearable bites. I suspected bed bugs. I never expected to encounter them at this hotel.

You can tell the hotel has some history. Definitely book a newly renovated floor. I stayed on the 24th floor, and the room had a great view of Kowloon Park and China Hong Kong City below. They didn't ask for a deposit and provided complimentary drinks and snacks in the mini-fridge, which was a nice touch since there was no drinking water in the room. Because I was staying for two days, I went to Wellcome across the street to buy bottled water. Even though the room was newly renovated, for some reason, the power would cut out for a second sometimes 🙄 so strange! This was my second stay at Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan, and I have to say, the overall experience was a bit disappointing.
Charging was incredibly inconvenient: The nightstand only had USB-A ports. If you're using a USB-C cable or have multiple devices, charging becomes a real hassle.
The bathroom was an absolute disaster: Even with the door shut tight, water would splash out from the gaps, leaving the entire floor soaking wet. The drain was ridiculously slow, so much so that after a shower, the water would be up to my ankles, making it feel like I was showering in a bathtub.
Shower and hairdryer issues: The showerhead was an old, fixed design, impossible to hold. It could only spray towards the glass door or the wall. The most inconvenient part was the complete lack of an electrical outlet in the bathroom. After washing my hair, I had to walk out into the room with wet hair just to use the hairdryer.
Despite the hotel room being spacious and having a good view, these hardware and design flaws genuinely impacted the quality of my stay. I hope the hotel takes these issues seriously and makes improvements.FromUS$78

We were a group of four and booked two rooms for three nights. The hotel assigned us rooms 2409 and 2413. Honestly, the hotel's location is great, very close to the subway station, which makes getting around super convenient. However, room 2413 was never cleaned and was incredibly noisy. We could hear singing, conversations, and even doors opening and closing next door. It was a really poor experience. Picture three shows room 2409, which was fine and cleaned daily. Booked a room for three people. They have two bed and a sofa bed. We opened the sofa bed ourselves, and found some hair. But actually, they were supposed to set up for us. After set up, it was OK. The room was spacious in Hong Kong standard. It came with standard amenities. There is a very small TV, and we watched FIFA final that morning. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall, there are good selections of eateries and stores. Note that there are two sections in the hotel and they are disconnected. We checked in at one of the sections just to find out we have to go outside to get to the other one to our room. They have a nice gym, but again we have to walk to the other section for that. There was some inconvenience walking in the rain because there’s no covered pathway between the two sections. There’s a 7-Eleven near the other section, and we were able to get some cup noodles in the middle of the night. There are a lot of different kinds of transportation near the hotel, including light rail, bus, and of course taxi.FromUS$54

The room layout was spacious and bright, with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic view of the complete Victoria Harbour skyline. The daytime scene of blue seas and boats, and the nighttime spectacle of countless city lights, each had their own unique charm. The entire room featured high-quality wood furnishings and plaid soft decor. The walk-in closet offered ample storage, and the dual showers and scenic bathtub were top-notch. Amenities like toiletries, TWG tea sets, and Nespresso coffee machines were thoughtfully provided. The turndown service each evening included an aromatherapy scent and a small snack, showing exceptional attentiveness.
Service was consistently excellent throughout my stay. The concierge and butler were friendly, professional, and promptly responded to any requests. Breakfast offered both buffet and à la carte options, with high-quality Hong Kong-style Nissin Demae Itcho, desserts, and fresh fruits. The high-altitude infinity pool directly overlooks the sea; it was quiet and uncrowded, making for a perfectly relaxing swim. Direct access to K11 Musea downstairs made shopping and getting around incredibly convenient.
The only minor flaw was the quality of the bathrobes in the room. The fabric felt rather thin, lacking the softness and plushness found in bathrobes at other luxury hotels in the same category. This was a stark contrast to the otherwise exquisite and luxurious amenities in the room. The experience would be even more perfect if the bathrobe material were upgraded.

I've stayed here many times, but this visit was particularly unpleasant. Seeing a crowd, I opted for self-check-in. However, after completing the process, it stated my room wasn't ready (despite arriving on time), so I still had to queue up.
Then, a male staff member assisted with check-in. I had booked an Executive Suite, and everything seemed ready. But suddenly, a female staff member next to him asked who had chosen the room she wanted. The male staff member said it was him and then gave her the room. What kind of operation is this? It's bad enough they gave it away, but then I had to wait almost ten minutes for them to find another room.
Once I got to the room, it was indeed an Executive Suite, but it was significantly worse than previous stays. There wasn't even a mini-fridge!?! Plus, the slippers in the room were dirty, the bedding had strange stains, and there were no towels provided. When I tried to call, the room phone was broken, so I had to use the bathroom phone.
