Indeed a nice experience at chimelong ocean kingdom. But too bad raining weather. A lot of areas didn’t covered. But will come back again if possible.

We visited the park with the kids. We loved everything, especially the light show with fireworks! It was a fantastic performance! We also saw a show with dolphins, beluga whales, whale sharks, and a couple of rides. Absolutely spectacular!!! We went on a weekday, so there weren't many people. We entered the park at 3:00 PM; we were warned that it was open until 6:00 PM. If you're not in a rush and want to see all the shows and rides, you'll need more time. We got there from Guangzhou by high-speed train and taxi. We returned to Guangzhou by taxi.

I booked a king-sized bed and was pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade to a suite upon arrival. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. Traveling with two children, the hotel provided kids' toiletries. Since we were staying for two nights, the cleaning staff proactively asked if we needed service on the second day and even replaced our toiletries. Breakfast is served in the café on the first floor; it tends to be busy on weekends, but when we arrived around 9:10 AM, there was no wait. The selection of congee, noodles, pastries, and more was extensive. In the evening, we tried the seafood hot pot buffet, which was also delicious; I especially enjoyed the 'lao zhi' small seafood and snowflake beef. The hotel's second floor connects to a mall with several dining options, or you can head to the nearby Zhongyanghui Food Street, about 3 km away. There are two free shuttle buses to Chimelong in the morning and one return trip to the hotel in the evening. The indoor and outdoor pools on the 5th floor were a hit with the kids, but you need to bring your own swim cap and float, or you can rent a float on-site for a fee. Before our trip, customer service representative Charlie proactively added me on WeChat and enthusiastically offered assistance. Throughout our stay, all the staff members we encountered had excellent service attitudes, and the hotel facilities were quite comprehensive. My only minor gripes are that the bathroom door was very heavy, making it difficult for younger children to open, and I would suggest adding a step stool for small children to make washing up easier.

The service was also excellent, and ordering breakfast directly to the room came with a great discount 😄. Before leaving, I even grabbed an iced Americano from the lobby bar, and the front desk staff kindly helped me take my luggage to the parking lot. Other than a slightly loose power outlet in the room, possibly due to age, I honestly can't find any other faults. This hotel truly lives up to the InterContinental brand. It's the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at recently. I'll definitely be back for a swim this summer if I have time. Thumbs up to all the staff across every department!

I'll definitely come back and recommend it to friends. It was a very thoughtful and great experience. The kids' bedding was adorable with cute cartoon characters, and kids' bathrobes were provided. The room also had a mini-fridge and a safe, which was all great. Transportation nearby is convenient, whether by taxi or bus – I loved it! The hotel environment is good, the service is excellent, and the park is a lot of fun. It was a great experience. Highly recommended, I will definitely visit again! From our room's balcony, we had a view of the park, and the amusement park entrance was just a two-minute walk away. We could easily pop back to the room to rest whenever the kids got tired, which was such a relief for us parents. **Room:** My child exclaimed ”Wow!” the moment we walked in! The entire room was decorated with A-Du Lion motifs, and even the toiletries were cartoon-themed for kids. The attention to detail was excellent. The bedding was very comfortable, and it was quiet at night. **Service:** The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and even gave a small gift to my child. First time staying at a hotel in Zhuhai, just checked out. Time to leave a review. The mattress was just right, not too soft, not too hard. The pillows were comfortable. I slept soundly until morning. The WiFi was stable, no buffering when streaming videos. Shower water pressure was consistent, and hot water came on in seconds. The bathtub was pristine. Toiletries had a subtle, pleasant scent. The body lotion was a thoughtful touch. Plenty of amenities for children. The pool water was clear and heated, and there was a lifeguard on duty, which was reassuring. The kids' play area had slides and a ball pit – my child didn't want to leave! Breakfast was extensive, and the freshly made noodles were delicious. The shrimp dumplings in the Chinese restaurant were authentic. The waitstaff proactively brought a high chair for my child. Checkout was simple; just drop the room key card into the express checkout box and go. Very convenient. The parking lot had ample free spaces and was easy to access. The lobby was bright with high ceilings, and the marine-themed decor was lovely. The elevators were responsive, and the corridors were quiet. The room had great natural light and was spacious enough. The air conditioning was cool, and the mini-fridge worked well. The kettle was clean, and the towels were thick. The bathrobes were comfortable. A stroll in the garden was delightful. The gym was well-equipped. It's close to the amusement park, and there are frequent shuttle buses. Great value for money. I'll definitely come back.

The sea view king room offers a fantastic direct view of Nansha Bay. The hotel is also very close to a hiking trail, which you can follow all the way to Dong'ao Passenger Terminal. If you're lucky with the weather, you can even catch a beautiful sunset over the offshore wind farm from the trail. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent, detailed service. They even proactively contacted me before arrival to share island travel tips and recommendations. Definitely a five-star review! The environment is first-class, truly a great room. The room was extremely clean, with pristine white and soft bedding, no strange odors, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with no water stains. My stay was excellent, especially Jay at the front desk who was very enthusiastic and always ready to help. The value for money is outstanding! This hotel had two standout positives: 1. **Excellent Location:** It's incredibly close to the beach. Downstairs, there are public buses to all the attractions, as well as tour buses. 2. **Great Convenience:** Staying here felt very convenient. They provided a full range of items, such as free rental of sand-digging tools, tape for sending packages, nail clippers, plastic slippers, and chargers – truly everything you could need. However, there were also two significant negatives: 1. **Cigarette Smoke in the Room:** When trying to sleep, there was a persistent smell of cigarette smoke around the bed. Of course, this isn't the hotel's fault directly, but rather due to inconsiderate guests smoking in the room. The smoke had absorbed into the velvet headboard and carpet. This really highlights the need for the hotel to implement stricter management and clearly enforce a no-smoking policy in the rooms. 2. **Poor Soundproofing:** Late at night, I could constantly hear loud shouting, laughing, and yelling from the neighboring room. Again, this was due to encountering rude guests.

Wow what a resort! The breakfast, dinner buffets, hot springs, massages, the staff, the rooms, everything was wonderful! The staff were wonderful at welcoming this first-time China visitor, the dinner buffet experience was incredible - with entertainment built into the experience and the daytime attractions were great too! Excellent cuisine and wonderful staff made for an incredible stay. Don't neglect to visit Jintai temple nearby! It's around 6km away and it is absolutely beautiful. Shoutouts to Vivian on the front desk, Pidelo ( I hope I'm spelling that correctly) in Management, Alex at the bar, the fabulous French chef at breakfast and all the staff members who went above and beyond during this stay.

We had a very nice stay at Banyan Tree Zhuhai for two nights around Christmas 2025. The hotel opened only recently and is located next door to Angsana that is its sister hotel at the fantastic and very scenic Phoenix Bay. We had an ocean view room that offered wonderful views of the South China Sea! The staff is really very friendly and attentive especially would like to call out Ms Queena Lau who took excellent care. The only area they must work on is to offer more options in their restaurants to cater to non Chinese customers like provide may be south East Asian cuisine and more vegetarian options on their menu. Angsana does have a Thai restaurant where one can always go but food options in the property are certainly limited. Also the bar was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays that is not great ! Overall nice property with wonderful location and awesome landscaping and attention to detail but can be so much better if food options are sorted !

We were also able to make appointments with the doctors on site for further tests and treatments for any health issues we wished to investigate. Each day we were able to attend a variety of fitness class, meditation, sound baths and more. The gym facilities were also very extensive. Every member of staff—from our amazing butlers, to the restaurant staff (Tsuki and Candy), the wellness centre team (Poling), and the incredible fitness instructors—made our stay truly unforgettable. I cannot recommend Serensia Woods highly enough and will definitely return for another wellness retreat.

I had a VERY pleasant stay at the Huafeng Hotel. It was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The service is excellent. Better than some five star hotels. It is very clean. The rooms are spacious and very well designed. The view of the city is also very nice. I did my laundry and came back a little late to pick it up, but one of the attendants put my clothes in the dryer for me. I thought that was very considerate. If I had to complain about anything, I would say that the mattress is very firm. But that is very subjective. Some people might like having a firm mattress. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone staying in Zhuhai.
