Booked this hotel for a company training, and it's super convenient – right by Chunxi Road, and the subway exit is practically at the hotel entrance. The front desk manager was amazing, I wish I knew her name! I'd booked a 399 RMB room, but they upgraded me to a deluxe executive king room, probably because they were short on standard rooms. The room itself was fantastic after I checked in! And the breakfast selection was incredible! Seriously, so many choices it was dizzying and overwhelming in the best way possible. Full marks! Highly recommend! Plus, you get a beautiful night view! It was stunning!

A very satisfying stay! We brought our child from Chongqing to Chengdu to see the giant pandas. Xiao Qin at the front desk and Xiao Yi from housekeeping were incredibly warm and attentive. When checking in, the front desk gave us direct bus tickets to the Panda Breeding Research Base, which was super convenient. The next morning at 8:30 AM, there was a bus right outside the hotel that took us directly there. Given the recent heatwave warning, they thoughtfully provided extra water, showing concern for our well-being. Due to our itinerary, on the third morning, we took our child to the Chengdu Museum, and afterwards, we planned to take them to Guanghan to see the Sanxingdui site. They proactively asked if we needed a late check-out or wanted to extend our stay, which really took the stress out of worrying about check-out times. The free panda bus tickets were a nice touch. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Wangfujing Mall, Chunxi Road, IFC, and Taikoo Li. Highly recommend! It will definitely be my first choice for future stays! I didn't take many photos, so I can only piece together what I have. The second picture is the hotel's second-floor afternoon tea and breakfast restaurant.

Hotel was in a relatively good location. Within walking distance there are malls and food stalls. Opposite hotel was the Sichuan opera theatre. Recommended to watch at least once. Hotel is able to get the tickets at cheaper rates. For the two bedroom suite, it is suitable for family of 5 with 1 child inclusive. There is one master bedroom which is directly linked to the toilet with a bathtub. Other room and second toilet is separated. Kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery etc. detergent is also provided for the washer. Refrigerator has normal and freezer compartment. Balcony is locked but you can sign an indemnity form to open it. Slippers provided are of good quality and house keeping is good. Only downside is the different little issues for different room we stayed in like hot water tap not working. hotel is connected to a mall, the HK cafe there is recommended. Food is good. Also the bakery sells really good chocolate bun. You can find it right after u enter the mall through hotel lobby. The best thing of course was Tina, who always served with a smiling face and takes the initiative to add you on WeChat to cater to your queries whenever you need. she was also the one who helped to provide breakfast for our child whose breakfast was not included. The other lady who served us on the first night told us we had to pay. It was a very nice gesture from Tina. look for Tina if u stay here, she will be a great help. For the breakfast,it is not the most fanciful but sufficient. Food changes daily but some food type stays the same. They have a paper where you can order noodles, egg omelette, pancakes and waffles. It will be served to you directly so thats a nice touch. They even provide disposable cups for the coffee machine with lids so that you can bring it out if you are in hurry or needed more drink. On weekday and weekend breakfast, the crowd was just nice unlike some hotels where it feels overwhelming and overcrowded due to the huge influx of tourists and there is no need to worry about food running out. Only downside for us is we can’t differentiate the type of meat. We don’t eat beef but it doesn’t state on the labels so we had to ask each time we wanted to take meat or dishes with meat. It is easy to call for DIDI (their taxis) from the hotel. If you have 4 pax or less, hotel can call for you but more than that, you have to arrange yourself. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a comfortable stay. Definitely you can’t compare the price to a cheaper hotel. You are paying for quality over here.

I came to Chengdu with my classmate this time. Since we're not yet adults, I was a bit worried about checking in, but it turns out I was completely overthinking it. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and patient. Instead of being dismissive because of our age, they were very considerate of our feelings throughout, and it felt really good to be treated with such respect. The city view from the room was absolutely stunning, with a super wide vista. Looking out the window at night, the city's splendor was laid out before us. Every picture we took was like a professional shot, and we spent ages taking photos by the window. Of course, as a well-established five-star hotel that's been open for some years, some of the facilities do feel a little dated compared to those trendy new hotels that just opened. However, this didn't affect the overall stay at all. The bedding was very comfortable, and the hygiene was excellent. The minor flaws don't detract from the overall quality. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I truly felt the expected standards and warmth of the Ritz-Carlton. Thank you to all the Ritz-Carlton staff! (。・ω・。)つ🌷

【Stay during a trip - The St. Regis Chengdu】 The classic luxury style is still on point, but the facilities show their age slightly. Stay Review Location: ★★★★★ Located in the heart of Chengdu, the geographical location is extremely convenient. It's not far from popular commercial areas like Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, making it easy to get around by taxi or on foot. Dining, shopping, and entertainment are all hassle-free. View: ★★★★ The hotel offers generally good views, and the higher floors provide a panoramic view of Chengdu city, with a particularly atmospheric night view. However, being in the city center, the surroundings are all urban landscapes, lacking a bit of the natural feel of a resort hotel, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. Facilities: ★★★☆ As a St. Regis that has been open for many years, the overall maintenance is quite good, but you can still feel some age. The public areas retain their classic luxury style, but some of the in-room facilities and decor details do appear a bit dated compared to newer hotels today. If it undergoes future renovation and upgrades, the overall experience would be even better. Service: ★★★★★ Service continues to be the most satisfying aspect of the St. Regis brand. From check-in to concierge and room service, the staff are all very professional, enthusiastic, and proactive in offering help. Communication is also detailed, giving you the feeling of the five-star service you'd expect. Room: ★★★★☆ The room is quite spacious, and the classic European style gives it a recognizable St. Regis feel. The bedding is comfortable, and the overall stay is very relaxing. However, because the hotel opened earlier, some of the furniture and facilities show signs of use, lacking a bit of the pristine feel that comes with a new hotel. Amenities/Activities: ★★★★ The supporting facilities like the pool and gym are quite complete, meeting daily needs for exercise and relaxation. They are well-maintained and sufficient for both business travelers and leisure guests. Dining: ★★★★★ The hotel breakfast offers a rich variety, with a good balance of Chinese and Western options, and local Chengdu specialties are also covered. The overall quality is excellent. The restaurant environment is spacious and comfortable, and the staff are responsive, making for a very good dining experience. Overall, The St. Regis Chengdu still maintains the service standards expected of an international luxury hotel. The location is excellent, the dining is good, and the service is particularly commendable. Although the facilities and decor show some age, and it's not a pet-friendly hotel, if you prioritize brand service and a convenient city center location, it is still a worthwhile five-star hotel.

The hotel is located near the IFS building and can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. There are plenty of food options around the hotel, including street food, local restaurants, and shopping malls with food courts. The hotel staff were friendly and service-minded. Although communication was mainly through a translation app, they were helpful and willing to assist. The room was clean and free of any cigarette smell. However, the bathroom had a musty odor, and there was a bag or covering placed over a drain pipe, although I was not sure of its purpose. This could be improved to enhance the overall guest experience.

The hotel is located near Chunxi Road, about a 10-minute walk away. The service was satisfactory; all the staff greeted me when they saw me, which I guess is standard for hotel employees. There's a self-service laundry room, but you often have to wait in line, which is understandable. My room's shower only had hot water, no cold. I managed to shower on the first day, then reported the issue via WeChat scan. Their response was quick; someone called me the same day to help resolve it. For an older 4-star hotel, this level of service is excellent. The only minor downside was that when I booked, it mentioned daily specialty snacks, but I never received any. Do you have to ask for them at the front desk? It's not like I was specifically looking forward to them, but it was just that one small detail missing.

Returned to Chengdu from Western Sichuan after celebrating my mother's birthday, and booked a room with executive lounge access. It was truly great value for money. The ladies at the executive lounge were all lovely and patient. One of them helped me get a cheesecake (which was surprisingly delicious!). I didn't get a chance to thank her when I left because she was busy, but I wanted to give her a special shout-out; she was always so proactive in interacting with guests without being intrusive. When checking out, I also went to the executive lounge and tried their special Sichuan peppercorn Black Forest cake. I thought they would just deduct the cost from my deposit, but they refunded the full amount instead.

After looking at many hotels, I'm so glad I chose this one – it didn't disappoint! The staff were really welcoming and the breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choices. From my room, I could see the famous panda statue. Chunxi Road is right downstairs, and the subway station is directly across the street. It's super convenient for travel: if you're coming from the airport, just take line 18 then transfer to line 2, which drops you off right by the hotel. I didn't have high expectations for a hotel room costing over 600 yuan, but my stay was surprisingly good. It's about a 30-minute drive from Shuangliu Airport to the hotel. The concierge service at the entrance was excellent. While it might not have the grand scale of a five-star hotel, the staff's service-mindedness was remarkable. They took both of our large suitcases and brought them directly to the front desk. Mina at check-in and housekeeper YY provided great service. The hotel offers robot delivery for food, and during peak times when the robots are busy, staff members will personally deliver orders to your room. The hotel is located in the bustling Chunxi Road area, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. Despite being in a busy location, the window insulation was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The room layout was well-designed with plenty of space to put things, so it never felt cramped. The cleanliness was also top-notch, with no hidden dirty corners. Stayed for two nights. The hotel's location is not far from the front mountain of Mount Qingcheng, and about a 20-minute drive from the Qingcheng Mountain Golf Course, making it quite convenient. This area is essentially a small town with many guesthouses, but this hotel feels like the best one around. Plus, the rooms even have private hot springs! After hiking all day, coming back for a soak in the evening is so relaxing 😪. There's a night market street right in front of the hotel, perfect for an evening stroll and buying some fruit. Also, the hotel's food is so much better than the restaurants outside. On our first day, we went to a seemingly popular restaurant outside and the food was awful. For the rest of our meals, we ate at the hotel. It was clean, hygienic, and most importantly, the taste was fantastic. The chef clearly puts a lot of effort into the cooking, highly recommend! 👍

A perfect private hot spring guesthouse! Enjoy bliss in the mountains; the details are simply divine. This mountain hot spring guesthouse deserves five stars! From the moment I stepped into the courtyard, my positive impression soared—the idyllic mountain setting was incredibly soothing, the air filled with the scent of nature, completely away from the crowds. The private hot spring water was reassuringly clean, and the intelligent temperature control was a thoughtful touch. Soaking in it instantly melted away all my fatigue. In the evening, paired with a home theater, the comfort was simply unparalleled. The guesthouse's details were even more stunning: the rustic yet exquisite decor created a wonderful atmosphere, the teaware was so delicate I almost didn't want to leave it behind, and afternoon tea with the mountain view was incredibly pleasant; the smart appliances in the bathroom were convenient and high-end, and even the sweet fermented rice balls with brown sugar were incredibly soft and delicious—you could feel the owner's care. The owner's hospitality and the two adorable dogs were the biggest pluses! Playing with the dogs and taking them for walks felt like being at a friend's house. We consider ourselves old Chengdu locals, even though we later left Chengdu for Beijing. But every year, we return to Chengdu for various reasons. This time, we made sure to book 15 days at the Jinjiang Hotel well in advance, and the service from this long-standing five-star hotel truly warmed our hearts, giving us a genuine feeling of being at home. I must commend the following staff members. First, Ms. Feng Ling from the Zizhu Restaurant. My partner and I both enjoy a cup of coffee every morning. After observing us for two days, as soon as we walked into the restaurant, without even having to ask, two coffees were already placed at our table, and she knew exactly what kind of coffee we preferred. This feeling of 'being remembered' is, as we say in Chengdu, 'simply amazing,' even more invigorating than the coffee itself. Additionally, Ms. Lu Jia and Ms. Lin Sha also provided excellent service. My birthday happened to fall during our stay, and I hadn't expected anything. However, in the afternoon, Mr. Zhang Yongjian from the hotel called to say they had prepared a birthday cake 🎂 for me. Ms. Kang Jiali, the guest relations specialist, personally delivered a beautiful birthday cake 🎂 to me and offered her well wishes. I was truly touched at that moment. I also want to thank Ms. Zeng Changqiong from the 8th-floor housekeeping, who provided us with warm and thoughtful service every day. On a side note, for friends who enjoy photography, this is a great spot to visit. You can have afternoon tea, take some photos – it's very photogenic. The dandan noodles and egg-baked cake at breakfast are also quite distinctive. Half a month's time, 15 days of companionship. Thank you to every staff member for their smiling faces 😄. This hotel is literally above Chunxi Road – yes, *above* it! The lobby is on the 30th floor, and all the rooms are between the 30th and 38th floors, offering amazing views of Chunxi Road. It's truly worth it. A big thank you to the front desk lady who helped upgrade us to a room facing Chunxi Road, where we could see the climbing panda. Before, I always looked up at it, but this time I was looking down, haha! The room has a really chic design, not your typical five-star layout. The sofa bed and multi-purpose table are perfect for the younger generation, making it super convenient for gaming on a laptop. The balcony was also a favorite spot; relaxing in the lounge chair and enjoying the Chunxi Road night view was such a unique experience. I have to specifically commend the afternoon tea. The restaurant is next to the lobby and also directly faces the climbing panda. Watching it tirelessly climb while we leisurely enjoyed our afternoon tea, I couldn't help but feel a little sympathetic towards it, hahaha. My original intention for booking a hotel on Chunxi Road was for convenient shopping, but it ended up becoming a 'hotel-cation' where I spent most of my time overlooking and marveling at Chunxi Road. You absolutely deserve this experience!

That said, it definitely lives up to its reputation as a good high-end hotel. The location is excellent for business travelers, with many companies nearby. The area is also quite lively in the evenings, with lots of stylish young people around, and you can see the Twin Towers right outside. The environment is quiet despite being in a bustling area; the whole place felt very peaceful. The hotel breakfast was quite good, offering local Chengdu specialties like 'xiaomian' (noodles), 'chaoshou' (wontons), and 'douhua' (tofu pudding). The cleaning staff were also very friendly; the 'auntie' cleaning our room even brought us extra bottles of water when tidying our room during our extended stay. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center near Xinnanmen Metro Station, just a 150m walk away. Having the metro so close made getting around and visiting attractions incredibly easy. Chunxi Road is just one metro stop away, and popular spots like Kuanzhai Alley and Wenshu Monastery are also easily accessible. There are plenty of dining options nearby, including 'chuan'er' (skewer) and hot pot restaurants. Just a short walk down University Road, you'll find even more local snacks. This place is truly excellent, the price is reasonable, and it exceeded all my expectations. It's a fantastic base for exploring Chengdu – highly recommended!

The surrounding environment is very quiet and not noisy at all. Xiaoyuan at the front desk service is warm and efficient, check-in and check-out are very fast, and there are questions and inquiries patiently answering, which makes people feel very comfortable. The room is clean and tidy, the wireless 🛜 is very high-speed; the TV is also very clear; then the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the sleep is particularly practical. The facilities are complete, the quality of toiletries is good, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the details are in place. The overall decoration is simple and atmospheric, with good lighting and ventilation, and the living is warm and comfortable.
