Traveling to Chengdu with my entire family, this hotel was a lifesaver! It's right next to the subway exit (F), just a left turn after taking the elevator and escalator – so incredibly convenient. The concierge at the entrance was super helpful with our luggage, setting a warm and welcoming tone from the start! We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival, and walking in was such a pleasant surprise! (See pictures~) The front desk service was excellent, the room was very comfortable, and it even had a tea set. What I loved most was the shower; the hot water was constant and came on in seconds – definitely a big thumbs up! Plus, the concierge department delivers your takeout to your room with a cute panda robot – how cool is that?! Before we left, I was able to get a late checkout until 2 PM at the front desk. It was a wonderful trip! The only minor improvement I'd suggest is the toilet – it's still an old-fashioned type; it would be perfect if it had an automatic flush. I genuinely recommend everyone to stay here! I'll definitely book again next time!

This stay at the ParcVue Hotel Chengdu was exceptional in every way. I reserved two rooms, and both were handled with the same level of precision, care, and attention to detail that defines truly great hospitality. This room was a Deluxe King Room, and it was spacious, quiet, and impeccably maintained, with a layout and comfort level that made it easy to truly relax. Lucas once again stood out as a defining part of the experience. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care ensured that everything across both rooms was perfectly coordinated. He has a rare ability to make service feel personal rather than procedural, and his presence elevated the entire stay in a way that is immediately noticeable. What impressed me most was the consistency throughout the hotel. From housekeeping to the front desk, every interaction reflected pride, warmth, and intention. The service was intuitive rather than reactive, and the overall experience felt effortless. This stay further confirmed that the ParcVue is not just a luxury hotel, but a place that truly understands hospitality. I would choose it again without hesitation.

This is my umpteenth stay at the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu, and the standards are consistently excellent. During check-in, a friendly young man named Luca brought me some herbal tea. After a brief chat, he later delivered a thoughtful, handwritten welcome card to my room before dinner. Of all the five-star and ultra-five-star hotels I've stayed at in Chengdu, the Ritz-Carlton's Executive Lounge offers the most attentive service. From breakfast at 6:30 AM right through to evening desserts at 10 PM, they continuously provide a wonderful array of thoughtful services. I've included some photos of the breakfast and dinner spreads – they're incredibly rich and varied. Plus, for both lunch and dinner, they offer two freshly prepared dishes, like duck breast and pasta, made to order. Every staff member I encountered in the Executive Lounge was exceptionally warm, attentive, proactive, and anticipated my needs. Of course, breakfast is also available at the main restaurant in the lobby on the 25th floor. The variety there is truly astounding; just the noodle bar alone offers six different options (as shown in the pictures). I ate so much that morning, I didn't want to leave. All in all, this is the best hotel experience I've had in Chengdu. Honestly, the price isn't even that high, making it excellent value for money. I will definitely choose to stay here again.

Staying at The St. Regis Chengdu for Chinese New Year this year was an an amazing experience! The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful, and they even upgraded me to a high-floor deluxe king room for free, which had a fantastic view and was very quiet. The 24-hour butler service was always on call, paying attention to every detail, making my stay incredibly comfortable. The hotel's location is also superb; it's within walking distance of Chunxi Road and IFS, making shopping and getting around super convenient. It was such a comfortable stay for the New Year. Hotel shuttle to and from Florentia Village: If you call the front desk, they'll arrange a complimentary car to take you to Florentia Village for shopping, and they even provided discount vouchers, which was a very thoughtful touch. 24-hour beverages: There's a wide variety of drinks to choose from, and they can be delivered directly to your room, which is incredibly convenient.

My stay at the Jinkun Hotel (Chunxi Road Taikoo Li store) was fantastic! First, I have to give a special shout-out to Miss Qiqi at the front desk. Her service was warm and professional, and she answered all our questions patiently and thoroughly, which made us feel very welcome. The hotel's biggest advantage is its incredibly convenient location. You can walk to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li right out the door, making it super easy to find food, go shopping, or take the subway. Wenshu Monastery/Longhu Shangcheng Sky Street Chengdu|1.44km from city center
Traveled with my parents during the Chinese New Year and booked a family room that accommodates three adults. **Environment:** The location is not far from Wenshu Monastery, but it's quite a long walk from inside the subway station to the ground level. It would be a bit annoying if you take the subway every day. **Facilities:** The hotel clearly has a lot of history, so it's generally a bit old. The soundproofing in the rooms is very poor!!! You can hear conversations from next door, which is really disruptive! The room is on the smaller side, but the bathroom is quite large. It would be great if some of the bathroom space could be allocated to the room; with three adults and two large suitcases plus a small one, the room felt completely packed. Also, on the higher floors (25+), there's a very noticeable wind noise, and the windows don't close completely. The pillows are really uncomfortable 😫 One is too flat, and two are too high 😫😫 This really needs improvement. And I'm not sure where the smell came from, but there was a smoke smell every night, especially before bed. I recommend addressing this! **Hygiene:** The hygiene is acceptable; they tidy up the room daily. **Service:** The service was very enthusiastic, and luggage storage was very convenient.

The location is great, very close to Tongzilin subway station. Line 1 goes directly to Wenshu Monastery and Chengdu South Station, which is super convenient. The hotel has a constant-temperature swimming pool and a warm-water soaking pool. I went twice and had them almost to myself, which was fantastic for a family of three who love to swim. The room isn't huge, but it's clean and sufficient, and the TV supports screen mirroring, which is very handy. There are two minor points that aren't exactly flaws: 1. The hallway scent in the hotel is a bit too strong. 2. Even with the AC/heater off, the duvet was still too warm; taking it off made it cold, which was a bit awkward.

Jiuyan Bridge/Sichuan University Area Chengdu|2.5km from city center
Having been thoroughly impressed by the food and service at the Horizon Club of Shangri-La Hotel on my last visit, I didn't hesitate to choose Shangri-La Chengdu again for this trip. Firstly, a big thank you to Ms. Lu, who was previously the Horizon Club manager and has now been promoted to Front Office Manager. Her warmth and helpfulness in securing a satisfactory room for us, along with complimentary fruit and local Sichuan snacks, and arranging a late check-out, set a wonderful tone for our entire journey. Strategically located near Jiuyan Bridge and the famous Lan Kwai Fong bar street, the hotel boasts a vibrant atmosphere and unbeatable night views. However, it's a bit of a distance from the nearest metro station. The Horizon Club's 'Happy Hour' offerings are incredibly diverse and plentiful, almost like a mini-buffet, with the cakes and desserts being particularly delightful. On the other hand, breakfast was relatively simple with fewer options. My beloved handmade steamed buns weren't as tasty as before, and they felt cold, possibly having sat out for too long, which affected the texture. I'm not sure why the brown sugar glutinous rice cakes (hongtang ciba) were soft throughout, lacking their usual crispy exterior. The Eggs Benedict were inconsistent; on the second morning, the egg was overcooked with no runny yolk, just a solid egg yolk, and the accompanying bread was unappetizing. Furthermore, the egg tarts were cold and not kept under a heat lamp, and the bread station seemed to lack even basic items like muffins, which felt a bit perfunctory. Restaurant management might need some improvement; during breakfast, I noticed a whole stack of plates still had water marks, indicating they hadn't been dried properly. Nevertheless, the service staff at the Horizon Club were excellent – friendly, courteous, quick to clear dishes, attentive to guests' needs, and particularly Ms. Liu Chun, the current Horizon Club manager, who was constantly busy, very dedicated and responsible. I also checked out the coffee shop on the ground floor. While the selection of dishes was indeed more extensive, it was also very crowded and noisy. The staff member who greeted us was still very enthusiastic despite knowing we were just looking around, though some other staff members appeared cold and unresponsive. Room service was excellent – very responsive and quick to fulfill requests. When they learned we needed to air out clothes, they thoughtfully brought a drying rack, which was a very considerate touch! Room maintenance was also good, with an automatic toilet and a Dyson hairdryer. The gym isn't open 24 hours; it closes after 11 PM, and guests cannot access it with their room cards after hours, which felt a bit restrictive for those wanting to work out later. In summary, this stay brought both joy and disappointment. I hope the hotel continues to improve and enhance its services, ensuring its long-term success and continued excellence.

The 114 sqm two-bedroom deluxe suite offered an absolutely fantastic experience! The layout, with 2 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2 walk-in closets, was incredibly spacious. What was even more heartwarming was the hotel's service. Every staff member at the hotel was exceptionally warm and thoughtful. Front Desk: Quickly processed check-in, arranged an extra set of children's toothbrushes and slippers, and reminded the elderly to use the anti-slip mat when showering. Concierge: Fast luggage storage/retrieval and thoughtful guidance for getting around. Housekeeping: Incredibly patient and responsive to any request. The daily tidying was clean and neat, showing great attention to detail. Manager: A special thank you to the manager, who paid close attention to our stay experience throughout. Whenever we met, they would proactively greet us and ask if we were comfortable and if the facilities were working smoothly. Upon learning we were in Chengdu for sightseeing, they even thoughtfully recommended local tour routes and authentic regional dishes. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety and excellent taste, with the addition of local specialties like 'chaoshou' (Sichuan wontons) and 'dandan mian' (Sichuan noodles). After a hearty meal, we were energized and ready to start our day's itinerary. The hotel is located in the core area of South Second Ring Road, making transportation incredibly convenient. Metro Line 1 and 3 are right next door, and ride-hailing services are quick to respond (arriving within 5 minutes). Downstairs is Raffles City Plaza, which combines shopping, dining, leisure, and entertainment. You can find everything from Sichuan cuisine, hotpot, Northeast Chinese cuisine, Cantonese cuisine, fast food, coffee, and milk tea – making dining, drinking, and entertainment super convenient. We were extremely satisfied with our stay during this trip to Chengdu. We will continue to choose hotels under the Ascott Group in the future and highly recommend them to our friends!

Facilities: The hotel is new, and the rooms are well-renovated and clean! Service: 1. The butler service was excellent. They arranged a crib for us in advance, absolutely top-notch! 2. Some staff members in the breakfast area were inflexible. With so many people queuing early in the morning, and me with a ten-month-old baby waiting beside me, couldn't they just let us swipe the card and go in together? Did we really have to follow everyone else? Then they seated us in the furthest corner of the dining room, claiming it was less drafty there! But then adults had to walk a long way to get food, and kept running back and forth to take care of the baby's meal! 3. The front desk was also strange. I mentioned I wanted to draw a prize, and they gave me the room card to go draw, only for me to find out I had already checked out. I had to run back to the front desk to modify it. Do you think it's convenient to keep running back and forth in the hotel? I really didn't want to get angry, especially during the Chinese New Year! Plus, it took an hour to get a pair of slippers that I requested! Service: The 4.5-star rating is entirely for the butler! Otherwise, it would definitely be a bad review!

All the staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always smiling. Even though there was a language barrier, they truly tried their best to help us with everything, which I really appreciated. My son accidentally left his bag in a Didi taxi, and the receptionist willingly helped us by keeping the bag safe and contacting the driver for us. Their honesty and helpfulness really touched me. Good overall experience, the rooms here have a very interesting design, but there were some problems that I encountered. First of all, the room amenities included a city view, but actually there is just a small window placed very high, through which you cannot see anything else than a wall. In addition to that, the window does not even close, so I was constantly hearing noise from outside. Second, the sink did not function too well, resulting in a slow decreasing level of water, almost like it was clogged. Lastly, in the amenities included there was a minibar, snacks, soda drinks and instant food, all for free. The only things that were actually available were water, tea and some biscuits, which didn't quite fit what was written on Trip.

We stayed at the CD Yuenchi hotel for two nights in February. We arrived much earlier than our check-in time, but the staff – including Cong Li and Maoli Ran – was very accommodating as they revealed our room was indeed ready. Its location is wonderful, with the hotel blending harmoniously into the artful and historical qingyang district just a few steps away from the monastery. The main courtyard of the hotel is beautiful. With outdoor tables available at morning, afternoon, and night. On one day during our stay there was a wedding with a vibrant, elaborate display. We were welcome to watch and witness the festivities. Among other spaces, the venue includes a coffee shop, Michelin restaurant, performance, venue, gym, and spa. While we weren’t able to take advantage of all the facilities, we did enjoy a cocktail at the hotel whiskey bar which was sophisticated in design, sultry in atmosphere, and staffed by talented mixologists. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet and highly recommend the zhongshui dumplings We weren’t able to see a traditional performance at the hotel – we had seen another elsewhere in chengdu earlier that evening – but we looked in on the performance at the hotel and it appeared to feature a higher production value and more talented performers than the other performance we had seen earlier. Our stay was great. The room was eloquent and traditional in design with modern amenities. Our lodging came with a balcony that provided a serene look over an outdoor walkway. The toilet had a seat warmer and other advanced technology. All in all, it was a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff was accommodating, the location ideal, the design beautiful, and various amenities and facilities enjoyable.

First, the good points: the hotel's location is excellent, right on the main street in the city center. There are four large hotels at the intersection, and it's not far from Tianfu Square, IFS, Wuhou Temple, and Du Fu Thatched Cottage. The hotel's original building later had a VIP annex added. It's an older, established hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, giving off an 'old money' vibe, but they are well-maintained. The service is warm and friendly, especially the housekeeper Li Bai, who cleans thoroughly and has a wonderful service attitude. Now, for areas that need improvement: I booked a week in advance because I was traveling with elderly family members and children, so I requested rooms close together. I called after booking to explain the situation and again the day before check-in to confirm. Both times I was told it wouldn't be a problem. However, upon arrival, I was told there were no rooms available. Eventually, they managed to arrange one room on the same floor, but it was on the shady side with only a small window. For breakfast, the first day was at the Rover Garden, and then at Cui Zhu Yuan. The variety, quantity, and quality were generally decent, but not quite up to five-star standards, and some of the fruit was dried out. Overall, it's still a good review!

The staff here are incredibly thoughtful and responsible. As someone new to the area, they were always ready to answer any questions I had, making for a truly wonderful experience. The rooms are spotlessly clean. It was really heartwarming to be greeted so warmly by the cleaning staff in the hallway every time – it genuinely felt like a home away from home. The front desk team was also incredibly thoughtful. They even offer a laundry service, washing and drying clothes if you're too busy sightseeing, and folded everything neatly in a basket – a truly thoughtful touch. There's also complimentary self-service freshly ground coffee in the lobby, and a cup before heading out in the morning is just what you need to feel refreshed. All in all, I had a very comfortable stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chengdu.

Jinniu Wanda Plaza/ChengDu Zoo Chengdu|7.55km from city center
The location of the hotel is particularly good, there are many snacks around, you can find a variety of food when you go out, and it is super convenient to eat and go shopping. Xiaolin at the front desk was warm and caring. Not only was she gentle, she also gave us breakfast. The details were full and it made people feel particularly warm. We also upgraded the room type for free when we checked in. The room was much more spacious than expected, clean and tidy, with good lighting and very comfortable living. The overall environment is quiet and comfortable, and the price is super high. It is suitable for travel or rest. It is also very close to the zoo.
