During my trip to Yunnan, I stayed at the Grand Park Hotel Kunming on my way back from Dali. The lobby environment was lovely. It's close to Kunming Old Street and Qianwang Street, easily reachable on foot, and there are many snack options nearby, making it convenient for exploring and dining. Bella at the front desk was very attentive and knowledgeable about attractions around Kunming. Overall, it offers great value for money.

An absolutely fantastic hotel, I think it's worth staying at whether you're traveling for business or leisure. The price offers great value for money, and the rooms are truly excellent. I was upgraded to a suite, which had a very well-thought-out layout with separate living and sleeping areas. Both the city views and the resting space were superb. The swimming pool isn't large but it's very comfortable with an ideal water temperature. There's also a lovely sky garden on the gym floor. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. The hotel is conveniently located close to Cuihu Park and Kunming Old Street, among other attractions. Overall, the experience was wonderful. This hotel truly has no shortcomings in any aspect.

All facilities are well-maintained, and the hotel lobby is beautiful and perfect for photos. **Service:** The front desk staff are professional and meticulous. Check-in and check-out are handled quickly and efficiently, and any requests are promptly addressed. **Room:** The suite's window view has always been my favorite reason for choosing Goodview. The room was quite spacious with a small balcony overlooking the Panlong River. It's a shame the jacarandas were a bit past their prime! The room was clean and tidy; you can always count on the hygiene of established star-rated hotels. All the staff offered service with a smile, being professional and attentive, especially the breakfast restaurant staff who were very thoughtful! The breakfast was plentiful with so many varieties, and the fruits were all very fresh! The night views around the hotel were still beautiful!

The overall experience exceeded my expectations; everything was impeccable. The environmental hygiene was exceptionally well-maintained. The lobby was clean, bright, and odor-free, and the guest room felt fresh the moment I walked in. The floors and bathroom countertops were spotless, the bedding was soft and tidy, and there was no dust accumulation in the corners. The toiletries were neatly arranged, and after opening the window for ventilation, the air felt fresh, making my stay very comfortable and reassuring. The hotel facilities were complete and well-maintained. The air conditioning and hot water supply were stable, the internet was smooth, and the bathroom water pressure was ample. The lighting and power outlets were thoughtfully arranged, and the vanity and wardrobe offered sufficient space. The seating in the lounge area was comfortable, and all facilities were new and undamaged, providing an excellent user experience. I must particularly commend the service. The front desk staff were warm and courteous, and check-in was fast and efficient. Staff members would greet me proactively when passing by, and they responded quickly to any requests with patience and attention to detail. The directions for travel and parking were clear, and the service was attentive and thoughtful throughout. Clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and with heartwarming service, this hotel offers great value for money. I will definitely choose this place again for my next trip. Highly recommended!

Location is amazing! You can access the mall directly from the first floor, and there's a newly opened Mixue and MINISO nearby. Gin provided professional service and recommended that we stroll and eat our way along the old street, which was a great idea. The room assigned to us was also incredibly spacious! Getting a taxi to further places was also very easy. The bed was comfortable, and after a day of exploring, I fell asleep instantly. Definitely a must-recommend to friends!

The best thing about Cachet is the location, right in the middle of a very lively area with upscale bars and restaurants and cafes, quiet neighborhood of tree-lined streets with old school walk-up apartments. The hotel rooms and facilities aren't the newest and while the design isn't exactly up to date it's quite unique. Cool artwork in the lobby. Rooms are huge. I had a 4th floor room with great views. Started my day with the tea set; there's also a pod-type coffee machine. On the top floor there's a laundry room gym and billiards. A bit old though so that area could use a refresh. The restaurant operates as a German-style brewpub open to the public except during breakfast. So they have German sausage which was very good. (We had to ask for yellow mustard, which they should have out instead of ketchup!) The breads weren't fresh though. Was really impressed with the quality of the broth in the noodle bar. Front desk service was really nice & helpful. They did a good job keeping our Taobao packages for us so they were ready when we arrived.

Cuihu District Kunming|1.6km from city center
I stayed for 5 days in total, here are my thoughts: The hotel is beautiful, every corner is meticulously designed and heavily invested, exuding the aesthetics of 1956. It's definitely worth experiencing. It's also great for photos. Although some details in the room are a bit old and the facilities are somewhat average, the overall ambiance outweighs these shortcomings, so it's still a worthwhile choice. The service was also very attentive and excellent. The fruit platter in the room was replenished daily with various seasonal fruits, which was a thoughtful touch. In the evening, they would deliver things like white fungus soup (though we didn't drink it), but it left a very good impression. The butler was also very professional and accommodated all our needs. The pool was clean, and the longer we stayed over the 5 days, the more comfortable it became. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kunming. Additionally, I have some personal suggestions for improvement: 1. There are too few non-smoking twin rooms. We were involuntarily assigned to a smoking floor (10th floor), which they claimed had been treated to remove smoke odors. However, for the first two days, there was still a strange smell of smoke mixed with old carpet, an indescribable odor, which made it difficult to sleep well. It was quite bothersome. I hope more non-smoking floors can be added, and that room odors are thoroughly dealt with. The carpets could also be cleaned more frequently. 2. The shower is located inside the bathtub. Even with a shower curtain, water would inevitably flow over the edge of the tub, leaving the entire bathroom floor wet after showering. This was very inconvenient. We had to use towels to block the edge of the tub each time we showered, which helped a little, but water still escaped. I hope there's a way to improve this. 3. The wall near the room entrance has a thick, leather-like texture, but the surface is aged, with many pieces of the outer layer peeling off and flaking. I hope this can be improved. 4. Overall cleanliness still has room for improvement. When we first checked in, there were many water stains on the bathroom mirror! 5. The breakfast was generally delicious, but compared to other 4- and 5-star hotels, it lacked stir-fried rice and stir-fried noodles. I hope more stir-fried dishes can be added. Not everyone likes rice noodles, and if you don't eat them, the other main course options are quite limited. 6. There's no swimsuit spin dryer in the changing rooms by the pool, and the pool doesn't have lane dividers. These are points that I feel could be improved.

Kunming Wild Animal Park/The Golden Temple scenic spot Kunming|8.44km from city center
The room environment was decent, and the welcome fruit was a nice touch. I booked a suite since I was traveling with elderly family and a child, and it was quite spacious. However, the facilities are indeed showing their age. The air conditioning isn't on 24/7; it would turn on and off during the day. The bedroom without a window in the suite felt stuffy. The mini-fridge was right by the head of the bed, and since I had medication that needed refrigeration, I couldn't turn it off, leading to a loud humming noise all night. The staff were prompt and patient in addressing my concerns and explaining the situation, but they couldn't resolve the facility issues. Honestly, the breakfast really didn't justify the price. Not only was the variety limited, but the freshness was visibly unappetizing. The restaurant itself was old and dimly lit. I only had some porridge; the buns weren't fresh, and the fried items seemed reheated repeatedly. It felt like the food preparation was very perfunctory and didn't live up to the brand or price point. I had originally booked for two nights but checked out after one, having to find another hotel on short notice. This also affected my car rental plans, which were set for pick-up and drop-off at the hotel. Overall, it was a pretty negative experience. However, I must commend Trip.com's service; they were excellent in helping me communicate and get a refund for the second night, maintaining a superb attitude throughout. This is why I always feel confident booking my travel with Trip.com.

The hotel service was excellent! The butler contacted me in advance via WeChat and was incredibly warm and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable, and the environment was good. However, there was some noise at night from what sounded like a performance somewhere, and construction noise during the day. It's very close to Dianchi Lake, which was convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The breakfast was very mediocre, though. The croissants were as hard as rocks, and the melamine bowls for the rice noodles were old, worn, and peeling. I really have to wonder where the hotel thinks its five-star guest experience comes from? The Chinese restaurant wasn't good either. I hope the hotel can improve its dining quality and understand that a truly five-star review can only come from meticulous service details and an excellent overall stay experience!

Great location as food and walking streets are very nearby. Kunming old street, nanqiang and nanping streets with shopping malls all within walking distance. Hotel cleanliness is top. Though its an old hotel, but amenities are new. Only downside is the toilet didnt come with bid-get to spray. Food wise during breakfast buffet was good. Lots of variety from western and eastern. One thing to improve however, is the interaction between the staffs and guests. Throughout the stay, no one asked us hows the stay/food. It looked like we are just another person walking by. On this end, hotel can improve in this. Becos its this kind of small things are made guests feel like home and distinguish them from a normal 5stars to a great 5 stars hotel.

Our trip was absolutely perfect this time! ✨ Before we even arrived, our butler, Clove, thoughtfully called ahead to ask about our preferences and even added us on WeChat to coordinate everything. Knowing we were traveling with a child and the whole family, she kindly upgraded our room for free and arranged for our family to have adjoining rooms, making our stay incredibly comfortable! She also meticulously wrote out a super practical, personalized guide to local attractions and dining spots. She even thoughtfully reminded us about the changeable weather, suggesting we bring umbrellas and light jackets, truly thinking of every detail. The room was already prepared and set up before we checked in, making the entire process seamless and worry-free. Her service was gentle, meticulous, professional, and incredibly attentive. She was warm and thorough with everyone, creating such a wonderful atmosphere. We felt so well taken care of throughout our stay, and it truly boosted our travel happiness. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We originally booked a 60-square-meter hot spring king room with a terrace and breakfast. To our surprise and delight, the hotel kindly upgraded us to an even larger room free of charge. The upgraded room was incredibly spacious. Besides the bedroom, it featured a separate living room, a large balcony, an enormous bathroom, a jetted tub, and a private sauna. The moment we opened the door, we couldn't help but exclaim, ”This is huge!” The room's design heavily incorporated wood, complemented by high, distinctive ceilings, creating a strong resort vibe. Our favorite areas were the balcony and living room; they felt incredibly open and were perfect for simply relaxing, enjoying tea, or chatting. After a soak in the jetted tub in the evening, followed by a session in the sauna, all the day's fatigue just melted away. This setup far exceeded our initial expectations. The hotel's service also deserves praise. While a free upgrade isn't mandatory, it's these extra touches that make guests feel valued and cared for. The biggest takeaway from this stay is that we booked a hot spring room but unexpectedly enjoyed a suite-level experience. From the room size and facilities to overall comfort, everything was exceptionally satisfying. I would definitely choose to stay here again without hesitation.

I ordered takeout, but the hotel doesn't allow the deliveryman to deliver to the room because it was inconvenient for me, so I asked the front desk for help, and it was delivered to the room very quickly. When I asked the reason, the front desk guy told me that it was for the safety of the guests that the deliveryman was not allowed to go upstairs. The hotel has trained guests that if they need takeout to the room, they can help deliver it. The overall feeling of the hotel is good, and the service attitude is very good. When I checked in, I asked about the surrounding attractions and routes, and they explained it very patiently. The room internet connection was very fast, and I asked the waiter, who told me that each room has an independent dedicated line. The room feels clean, and you can swim, exercise, and take a hot spring bath. Since I had a lot of fun, I didn't have time to take a few photos of the hotel. I will take more photos after I check in next time.

Century City area Kunming|8.51km from city center
Honestly, this hotel's rating is definitely underestimated. It's a traditional, established five-star hotel. We got a free room upgrade, and the room was very spacious. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are all high-quality. The hotel also has a large parking lot and lobby, and the breakfast area is huge with a wide variety of options. I've stayed at Century Golden Resources in Chongqing, which is a renowned hotel there. I'm not sure why it seems to be perceived as lesser in Kunming; it's severely underrated. They offer free umbrella rentals, and there's a huge shopping mall nearby, making everything very convenient. The best part is that the prices didn't even go up during the May Day holiday, which is incredibly fair. The only drawback is that they are currently undergoing renovations, so it's a bit noisy during the day. However, we were out exploring during the day, so we mostly avoided the noise. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Nanping Pedestrian Street Kunming|0.16km from city center
This stay truly exceeded my expectations, and I have to give it a huge thumbs up! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt that meticulous care. The bedding in the room was just right – neither too soft nor too firm – and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was very thoughtfully designed. Add to that the staff's professional and prompt service, and it made this trip exceptionally relaxed and comfortable. It's definitely the top choice for both business trips and leisure getaways.

The owner upgraded me to a loft king room. The room was very rustic and had a unique Yunnan charm. Breakfast included rice noodles, soy milk, and various grains. The owner even came downstairs to pick me up. The location is about 790 meters from the old town, making it very convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The conditioner was also really good!

First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University/Pan Jia Wan Kunming|2.77km from city center
The service was excellent. After check-in, they proactively contacted us to confirm our meal times, which was very convenient for the hotel to prepare our food in advance. The environment was quiet and comfortable, set away from the main road. The king-size bed in our room was very comfortable. There's also a wine cellar next to the hotel lobby where you can enjoy a drink or two. All in all, the price was very reasonable.

Ok, this is a well-written praise for the Vienna Hotel in Kunming, just over 60 words, highlighting common advantages: - - Staying at Kunming Vienna Hotel, the experience is awesome! The location is excellent and the transportation is convenient. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful and the check-in was quick. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, the sound insulation was good, and the night was sleeping until dawn. The facilities are complete and the price is very high. I will choose here next time I come to Kunming, highly recommended!

The location of the hotel can also be near Vientiane City. The hotel is on the side of the road and is easier to find. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel is large. This hotel has several floors and dozens of rooms. The sound insulation is too poor. There is also a wooden board and mirror of a cabinet in the next room. The sound of boiling water in the next room was very clear, the sound of opening the cabinet door in the next room was also very clear, and the sound of talking in the next room was also very clear. The sound of bathing upstairs and next door was also very clear, the sound of rushing water. The voice in the corridor was also heard very clearly, the sound of walking in the corridor, the sound of pulling the suitcase, and it was also heard very clearly. On the evening of the New Year's Eve, I called the front desk several times and no one answered. On the second day, I asked the front desk person, and the front desk person said that it was a holiday. No one cleaned on the first day of the New Year, the front desk had to change my room, and I didn't change it. I have stayed in so many hotels. The first time I encountered such a situation, there was no one at the front desk on the 30th night of the New Year. There was no staff in the hotel and no security. There was no cleaning staff on the first day of the New Year. This is not a small hotel, it is also a relatively large hotel, how can this situation occur? I stayed at this hotel for more than ten days and didn't see who the manager of the hotel was from the beginning to the end. In addition to a staff member at the front desk, it was the cleaning person.
