Great value for money! They even gave us complimentary fruit and snowflake crisps. The snowflake crisps were absolutely delicious – I asked about them and found out the hotel's own bakery sells them, so I bought some snowflake crisps and bread to take home, which was reassuring. The front desk service was warm and welcoming; they greeted us with smiles and check-in was very fast. The soundproofing in the room was also good, quiet at night, and I slept really soundly.

Their hospitality was next-level—warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Chris at frontdesk went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Every time I visit Kunming, I stay at the Grand Park Hotel, but I always forget to leave a good review. This time, I made sure to set a reminder! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly warm and attentive, anticipating our needs with many thoughtful details. The room arrangement was very comfortable, and all the facilities clearly looked newly renovated, making them easy to use, clean, and modern. Before we left, we even received handmade flower cakes from the hotel, which were sweet but not cloying – a truly heartwarming touch. What moved me even more was the airport transfer service they arranged for us; the driver was punctual and had a great attitude, making the whole journey stress-free. Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

For my trip to Kunming, I specifically chose the Crowne Plaza Kunming City Centre, and my stay truly exceeded expectations – I have to give it a big shout-out! **Excellent Location, Super Convenient for Getting Around** The hotel is rooted in the heart of Kunming's city center. Whether you want to shop at Kunming's established commercial districts or visit famous attractions like Green Lake Park and Jinma Biji Archway, everything is close by. Many popular spots are even within walking distance. If you need public transport, nearby subway and bus stops are not far, and taxis are readily available. It's incredibly time-saving and hassle-free, whether you're on a tight schedule or a leisurely holiday. **Comfortable Living Environment, Reassuring Stay Experience** The first impression when I opened the room door was how fresh and clean it was. The entire room felt spacious, and every corner and detail was meticulously maintained, with absolutely no strange odors. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and the soundproofing was excellent, making for exceptionally quiet nights. I've slept incredibly soundly these past few days – truly a good night's sleep every time. The bathroom facilities were clean and complete, and the amenities felt high-quality. Overall, the living experience was very reassuring. **Attentive Butler Service, Felt Right at Home** I must especially commend Jenny, Nova, and Ella from the front office team! From check-in, they provided attentive, full-process follow-up. During my stay, they proactively inquired about my needs and experience. Whether I needed extra amenities or advice on local sightseeing, they quickly provided thoughtful responses and assistance. Their meticulous and considerate service genuinely felt incredibly warm, giving me a completely relaxed, 'at home' feeling. In summary, this stay was a perfect 10/10. I couldn't find a single fault, whether it was the convenience of travel, the comfort of the living environment, or the quality of service. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Kunming, and I genuinely recommend it to anyone planning a trip here!

My spouse and I, both retired, chose the Wanda Vista Kunming for our trip to Kunming. Upon arrival, we were impressed by the hotel's luxurious and grand appearance, both inside and out. The environment, cleanliness, and facilities were excellent. The staff were proactive and welcoming, helping us with our luggage. Our room was lavish and spacious, impeccably clean, and well-stocked with all the essential toiletries and amenities. The breakfast offered a wide and delicious variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. The hotel's location right next to Wanda Plaza is incredibly convenient for visiting all of Kunming's attractions. We, as seniors, thoroughly enjoyed our three-day stay at Wanda Vista Kunming, finding great satisfaction in the dining, accommodation, and transportation aspects. An older hotel, a bit outdated in terms of decor, but on the plus side, you don't have to worry about any renovation smells. Back in its day, the hotel quality was definitely top-notch. The location is excellent, right in a prime area. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. What really stood out was the fantastic service. Gin was very patient and arranged the room according to my requests, and even gave me recommendations for the surrounding area. Highly recommended!

The room was spacious with a window, and being on the 14th floor, the view was fantastic. You needed to use your card to operate the elevator, which made me feel very secure. Right opposite the hotel is Cuihu Park, which is free to enter, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The hotel is located in the city center. To the right of the hotel is Huangdong Street, a vibrant area, especially when the jacaranda trees are in bloom, with many small cafes for visitors to relax in. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, with high-quality offerings. The hotel's Chinese restaurant was also excellent; the dishes tasted great, the prices were reasonable, offering great value for money. I had all three meals at the hotel every day, which was clean and hygienic, with beautiful views of Cuihu Park from the window! This hotel is quite popular, and rooms book up quickly. I booked a week in advance and couldn't even extend my stay for an extra night. If you get a city view room, you can catch the sunrise. The most sought-after rooms are the lake view ones, which overlook Cuihu Park and offer stunning sunset views. If you want one, make sure to book well in advance! This hotel definitely deserves a 100/100 score!

Kunming Wild Animal Park/The Golden Temple scenic spot Kunming|8.44km from city center
Let's start with the positives: the shampoo was pretty good, and we got to see a flower exhibition next door, which wasn't crowded and the flowers were beautiful. I also felt the hotel was making an effort, hosting an exhibition and interactive activities in the crowded lobby during Chinese New Year. After this stay, I won't easily trust international chains anymore. Their aging facilities and typically low occupancy make it hard to guarantee quality. To be fair, the building looks grand from the outside, but it's quite rundown inside. Every time the elevator door opens, you have to immediately re-press your floor button, otherwise it just goes up and down endlessly. Luckily, only one of the two elevators had this issue. The room design is outdated, and the bathroom is very cramped. The small shower head had poor water pressure – are the fixtures just too old? Another thing was the check-in process, which was incredibly slow. Registering your car plate only works for one entry; you have to re-register it every time you enter or exit. However, for a 500 CNY room with breakfast for two during Chinese New Year, I guess it's acceptable. It's basically on par with an older budget hotel, but adding a laundry room would be a big plus.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which immediately made us feel comfortable. The pool and the hot spring area were fantastic – perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a long day. One of the highlights for me was definitely the garden: it is huge, beautifully green, and incredibly peaceful. It’s the perfect place to slow down and truly relax. The food was also excellent, with a great variety and very high quality. What stood out the most, however, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful – whether it was housekeeping, the restaurant team, the lounge staff, or the reception. The hotel is also very foreigner-friendly, and communication in English was smooth and easy at all times. I would especially like to highlight the receptionist Kaia, who took care of us throughout our entire stay. She was always available via WeChat, answered all our questions, and made sure we had everything we needed! Thank you for such a great experience – we definitely want to come back

Our trip was absolutely perfect this time! ✨ Before we even arrived, our butler, Clove, thoughtfully called ahead to ask about our preferences and even added us on WeChat to coordinate everything. Knowing we were traveling with a child and the whole family, she kindly upgraded our room for free and arranged for our family to have adjoining rooms, making our stay incredibly comfortable! She also meticulously wrote out a super practical, personalized guide to local attractions and dining spots. She even thoughtfully reminded us about the changeable weather, suggesting we bring umbrellas and light jackets, truly thinking of every detail. The room was already prepared and set up before we checked in, making the entire process seamless and worry-free. Her service was gentle, meticulous, professional, and incredibly attentive. I ordered takeout, but the hotel doesn't allow the deliveryman to deliver to the room because it was inconvenient for me, so I asked the front desk for help, and it was delivered to the room very quickly. When I asked the reason, the front desk guy told me that it was for the safety of the guests that the deliveryman was not allowed to go upstairs. The hotel has trained guests that if they need takeout to the room, they can help deliver it. The overall feeling of the hotel is good, and the service attitude is very good. When I checked in, I asked about the surrounding attractions and routes, and they explained it very patiently. The room internet connection was very fast, and I asked the waiter, who told me that each room has an independent dedicated line. The room feels clean, and you can swim, exercise, and take a hot spring bath. Since I had a lot of fun, I didn't have time to take a few photos of the hotel. Century City area Kunming|8.51km from city center
This is an older five-star hotel, very close to the subway station. The breakfast is abundant, and the swimming pool is also quite good. The only drawback is the inconsistency in the front desk staff's service quality. Incident 1: We arrived a day early for our conference booking, which was for room 480. We had booked online for 538, but 538 is in the annex building, while 480 is in the main building. There were available rooms in the main building that day. I asked if we could be upgraded to the main building, but the front desk said no, unless we paid an extra 100+ yuan. I was willing to pay, but then I asked if they could provide meal or laundry vouchers, which they also refused, only offering accommodation receipts. So, I had to give up and switch rooms, which was quite inconvenient. Incident 2: I called the front desk to ask for the room's Wi-Fi password. The first time, they gave me the wrong one, including the 0871 area code, and it didn't work after several attempts. I had to call a second time and speak to another person to get the correct password. Incident 3: When we were changing rooms, my colleague showed the front desk a screenshot of the QR code payment for the conference rate (room 480). However, the front desk, and even the manager, couldn't find the payment in their system. We had to pay for the room again to check in. When I returned later and showed the payment screenshot to another front desk staff member, they found it in a minute and processed the refund successfully. I really wonder what the previous front desk staff and manager were doing? So, the front desk's service quality is indeed very inconsistent, and their policy regarding room upgrades is too rigid. It really detracts from the overall experience.

Nice dark themed hotel with a simple breakfast. Room was clean and the home theater was amazing. The location is a bit hard to find. But I'd still recommend!!

Service: Takeout is delivered by robot. Cleanliness: The room was spacious and clean. Environment: The street view is very nice, with jacaranda trees visible from the window. It's also very close to Wanda, Dianchi Lake, and Kunming Old Street, making it very convenient.

The The Mixc Kunming|2.93km from city center
The location of the hotel can also be near Vientiane City. The hotel is on the side of the road and is easier to find. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel is large. This hotel has several floors and dozens of rooms. The sound insulation is too poor. There is also a wooden board and mirror of a cabinet in the next room. The sound of boiling water in the next room was very clear, the sound of opening the cabinet door in the next room was also very clear, and the sound of talking in the next room was also very clear. The sound of bathing upstairs and next door was also very clear, the sound of rushing water. The voice in the corridor was also heard very clearly, the sound of walking in the corridor, the sound of pulling the suitcase, and it was also heard very clearly. On the evening of the New Year's Eve, I called the front desk several times and no one answered. On the second day, I asked the front desk person, and the front desk person said that it was a holiday. No one cleaned on the first day of the New Year, the front desk had to change my room, and I didn't change it. I have stayed in so many hotels. The first time I encountered such a situation, there was no one at the front desk on the 30th night of the New Year. There was no staff in the hotel and no security. There was no cleaning staff on the first day of the New Year. This is not a small hotel, it is also a relatively large hotel, how can this situation occur? I stayed at this hotel for more than ten days and didn't see who the manager of the hotel was from the beginning to the end. In addition to a staff member at the front desk, it was the cleaning person.
