What is the Batam Arrival Card (AIAC)?
The Batam Arrival Card is officially part of the AIAC (All Indonesia Arrival Card) system. Launched by the Indonesian government, this all-in-one digital declaration form is mandatory for all international travelers entering major ports and airports in Indonesia, including Batam's popular ferry terminals (like Batam Center, Harbour Bay, and Sekupang).
The AIAC merges three critical travel steps into a single online form:
- Immigration Entry Records
- Electronic Customs Declaration (e-CD)
- Health Declaration (which completely replaces the old SATUSEHAT Health Pass)
Important: This is not a visa. It is a mandatory declaration form. Both foreign visitors and returning Indonesian citizens must complete it before clearing border control.

Overall a great stay with fantastic views and amazing service!
The room size was perfectly fine, and the single bed was plenty spacious for one person. The highlight was definitely the view—you can see the ferry terminal right from the window—and the clever mirror design in the room was a wonderful touch that really elevated the space. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, proactively helping with my luggage and opening car doors every time. However The pillow quality was average—it was quite high and firm rather than soft and plush, and leaning against it for a while made my back feel sweaty. The biggest bug for me, though, was the elevator system; there are no clear indicator lights or sound chimes when the elevator arrives, so I ended up missing it quite a few times. Despite these quirks, the view and service made it a very enjoyable stay.

I have been to this place many times since 2020, if I’m not mistaken. It's an amazing location, akin to visiting old friends in an unfamiliar setting, with excellent service from the hospitality staff. They understand your needs and largely provide what you desire. I felt as though I was being pampered by a butler in a premium hotel.
Marriott hotels offer a 24-hour gym, sauna/steam room, and room service. The rooms are beautifully designed, featuring comfortable beds and luxury pillows that are specially designed for relaxation.
The leisure activities within the hotel area are excellent, and the Harbour Bay ferry exit is just a 10-minute walk to the right, where you can discover some very affordable local food restaurants, such as Bay City Seafood. We particularly enjoyed the steamed black grouper and steamed silver pomfret. Just let the waitress know if you prefer less sauce to reduce the saltiness.
For personal care, there is a salon near the Swiss-Bel Hotel. I paid less than S$20, including tips, for an hour of foot reflexology or a body massage.
For breakfast, there is a variety of cooked foods, ice cream, yogurt, desserts, breads, cakes, salads, and more. We enjoyed the carrot and orange juice, and at the hotel, you can order any juice or drink you prefer. Next time I visit, I plan to order smoothies for my breakfast.

Had a wonderful weekend stay at Radisson during my birthday. It's actually a golf resort. Location near to the newly opened K-Square mall. Within Sukajadi area with popular eateries like Anchor cafe, Madley cafe and Pagi Sore Indonesian restaurant. My room was clean and spacious with open concept bathroom and come with balcony facing the golf coourse. Hotel arranged some birthday decor as my partner informed them in advance, which is nice. Facilities includes a large swimming pool with a view of the golf course, gym, spa and restaurant. However, the second swimming pool and some amenities at the 10th floor wasn't in operations. Breakfast was awesome with lots of food variety. The manual juicer machine to make orange juice was something to remember. The hotel interior decorations have Bali design inspiration. I had a wonderful experience at Holiday Inn Resort Batam from check-in until check-out. Everything exceeded my expectations.

The hotel breakfast had variations choice and good. Overall the experience staying in this hotel was great.

If you are coming over follow those youtuber and online recommendations, you are a bit remote and need to go by car. There is a lot of dust and it was dirty underneath the double bed, which was slightly evaluated and could have been cleaned easily. My wife has to sweep the floor when we first check in. Pillows could be more firm. Sink chocked up when frequently used , but it was a small matter as we are out of the house a lot . Though we booked e sea view bungalow wanting e unblock sea view , we were terrorized by its space & clustured phobic. The food and service were both very good. A special mention goes to the chef preparing the fried noodles—they were outstanding, and I would happily return just to enjoy that dish again.

⭐I had a wonderful stay at Eska Hotel. The hotel has a very calm and peaceful atmosphere, which made it easy to relax after a full day of exploring Batam.

The hotel has its own spa and massage facilities, and guests even receive a complimentary 30-minute massage, which was such a nice surprise.
