My stay at the Hengqin Seaview Hotel was absolutely fantastic. The overall environment was comfortable and tidy, the room was clean and spacious, and the service was excellent. As a semi-old hotel opened in 2018, the bathroom facilities are very well-maintained. The pool is also nice, with good views and clean. Breakfast is standard. The executive room is spacious and grand. However, the details are quite disappointing. Many of the welcome fruits were rotten – a plate of dark, mushy longans, some already separated from their stems, with the flesh starting to turn white and rot, and others with black spots all over their skins. They really shouldn't bother sending such a fruit platter; it lacks both aesthetics and quality. It causes nothing but annoyance and certainly doesn't feel welcoming; it's more like a deterrent. Only when writing this review did I realize that the executive room package I purchased stated that a late checkout until 4:00 PM was possible. My return flight was late that evening, and I was traveling with a child, so I requested a late checkout. I was told the latest I could extend was until 2:00 PM. Firstly, I blame myself for not carefully checking the benefits at the time of purchase. Secondly, I never expected to encounter such a situation; usually, when the occupancy rate isn't particularly high, late checkouts are extended to the maximum allowed time. This reminds me of my last stay at an InterContinental, where the welcome fruit platter wasn't provided, and I received a confused response, saying it's only available upon check-in, not that evening. It almost made me laugh; was I supposed to sleep on the street that night? InterContinental's service is really becoming more superficial and dishonest. The room phone was broken, and the power outlet next to it was also broken; my phone would charge for a few minutes and then disconnect itself. Right outside the hotel, to the right, there's an escalator entrance that leads to underground shops, making it easy to get to the border crossing without worrying about sun or rain. The staff were very welcoming and upgraded us to a twin room for free. They even have a delivery robot that brings takeout right to your room, which is really handy. Traveling to Macao and Chimelong with my family, we decided to stay at the Xiangjiang Vick Hotel, and it was a fantastic experience. At this price point, it definitely deserves a 5-star rating! The transportation is incredibly convenient; it's close to Gongbei Port, about a 15-minute walk, or you can take a bus right outside for just two stops, making border crossing to Macao super easy. For Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, I recommend taking a Didi (ride-sharing app), which costs around 30-40 yuan. We spent half a day strolling and digging in the sand by the beach, which was absolutely delightful. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the hotel-recommended traditional dim sum place was delicious. Plus, it's only a few minutes' drive to the high-speed train station and Zhuhai Airport terminal, making it perfect whether you're catching a train or a flight. The room layout is well-designed, spacious, and comfortable, and it even has a bathtub – a relaxing soak after a long day was wonderful. This stay was absolutely perfect; the service was thoughtful, and the facilities were complete. From check-in to check-out, every aspect was satisfying. The kids' facilities were extensive, and my child cheered with joy as soon as we entered. The room had everything we needed, and they even thoughtfully provided children's amenities like a step stool, kids' slippers, a bathrobe, and toothbrushes. The location is the biggest highlight. The hotel has an internal passage directly connecting to the massive CR Land Urban Complex shopping mall. This meant we could shop, eat, grab desserts, and take the kids to the indoor amusement park without ever having to brave the sun or rain. It's a one-stop shop for all your dining, entertainment, and shopping needs, making getting around incredibly convenient.
The hotel's overall environment is sophisticated and elegant, with a strong nautical design that creates a wonderful atmosphere. The public areas are clean and tidy, and the Qianshan River view is expansive and peaceful, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle – perfect for a relaxing vacation. Our guest room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable. What truly impressed me were the beds: the mattress was just the right firmness, and the pillows were fluffy and soft. After a full day of sightseeing, both adults and children slept deeply and soundly.

Chimelong Ocean Kingdom has several hotels: Penguin Hotel, Spaceship Hotel, and Hengqin Bay. Each has its unique features. Hengqin Bay's main draws are its water park and dolphins. The water park opens at 9:30 AM, and that's when the dolphins are fed, allowing for close-up viewing.
The package ticket offers unlimited entry to Ocean Kingdom for two days, which is incredibly good value. Especially in the hot summer, you can get tired after half a day of playing, so it's great for kids to return to the hotel to rest and then come back the next day to finish exploring. Plus, you get one-hour early entry, avoiding the 10 AM queues at the main Chimelong entrance by using the hotel's exclusive通道.
Breakfast at the hotel is also very extensive, with a wide variety of steamed dim sum, noodles, and more. Everything is of excellent quality! My child had a blast eating and playing.
Hengqin Bay is absolutely massive, divided into Dolphin and Seahorse sections. Upon entering, you're almost shocked to see about a dozen counters with staff checking people in – it gets incredibly crowded! Naturally, during breakfast, two large restaurants serve food simultaneously.
There was a minor hiccup during check-in, but the concierge discreetly delivered four picture books and puzzles to the children, which was a very nice touch!
We also had an experience ordering takeout. Everyone waited at the takeout handover point, and we were all assigned four-digit codes, making it feel like a secret agent rendezvous – quite amusing.FromPLN 677

For our Zhuhai trip, we headed straight to the Gongbei Port and checked into the Zhuhai Wan Yue Hotel on the first day. I never expected that choosing the right hotel would cut my stress in half! 🗺️ Our Lazy First Day Itinerary in Zhuhai
• Arrival & Check-in: The hotel is at No. 28 Shuiwan Road, Gongbei, super close to the border crossing. We hopped out of the car and were checked in within seconds. This time, I specifically chose a family-themed room. The room was very spacious with one 2-meter wide bed and one 1.2-meter wide bed, giving us plenty of room with the little one. Although the side window offered views of the bustling city and a partial sea view, it was wonderfully quiet and not facing the street. The family room also thoughtfully provided kids' toothbrushes, slippers, and toys – full marks for attention to detail! It met all the essential needs for families with children.
• Hotel Fun: In the afternoon, we went straight to the heated pool and indoor kids' play area on the 5th floor. The water quality was clean, and there were staff supervising, so the kids played wildly for two hours.
• Dinner Delight: In the evening, we took the elevator up to the 'Wan Yue Xuan Seafood Restaurant' on the 22nd floor – this is where the real 'king's view' is! The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a direct view of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. We enjoyed delicious Cantonese cuisine while admiring the bridge's night scenery.
• Seaside Stroll: After sunset, we headed to Binhai Park / Lovers' Road. The sea breeze blew away all our fatigue, and watching the distant bridge tower lights was super chill. The kids even got to build sandcastles.
• Breakfast Power-up: With both Western and Chinese options, plus Cantonese dim sum, we filled up early before heading out.

From the moment we walked in, all the staff greeted us with smiles. The receptionist even helped us with our luggage all the way to the elevator for our room. Throughout our stay, staff consistently made an effort to greet guests first, which created a wonderful first impression.
I'd heard this was an older, well-established hot spring hotel in Zhuhai, so I was a bit worried it might be dated. But I was pleasantly surprised! Both the rooms and public areas are incredibly well-maintained – 'spotless' isn't an exaggeration. It could easily compete with hot spring hotels in Japan and Korea.
The buffet temple fair dinner was also fantastic and fun. They had a wide variety of food and drinks from different regions, enough to satisfy guests from all over. There was even specialty Peking duck, bird's nest soup, and grilled oysters, all genuinely good quality. At 7 PM, they had 'Tai Gong Fen Zhu Rou' (a traditional pork carving ceremony) and crispy roasted pork, which was delicious in every way and all-you-can-eat – incredibly satisfying! After dinner, there were plenty of unique game stalls to enjoy, which helped with digestion and provided lovely family bonding time for families, and more interaction for couples. This arrangement was excellent. Once we'd eaten and played our fill, we headed to the hot springs, and there were plenty of pools.
The hotel even states that if a guest discovers they're using boiler-heated water (fake hot springs), they'll be rewarded with 1 million yuan. That really speaks to their confidence in their authentic hot springs.
Overall, my experience at this hot spring hotel was completely satisfactory, from the service and management to the cleanliness of the rooms and public areas, and the dining arrangements. I hope the hotel continues to maintain its unique character while also evolving with the times, becoming a century-old hot spring establishment in Zhuhai. I commend the management for their efficient and professional approach, and the staff for their warm and caring attitude! Other so-called 'star' hot spring hotels inland could truly learn a lot from a visit here. A truly great hotel doesn't rely solely on a grand, flashy exterior or gaudy luxury décor, which can quickly lead to aesthetic fatigue and won't keep guests coming back. The room was a bit old-fashioned, so I didn't take any pictures. The hot springs have both indoor and outdoor sections. Soaking in the outdoor springs with a sea view was really enjoyable. The resort's amusement park is quite large, but unfortunately, we encountered a typhoon and couldn't enjoy any of the rides. When we left the amusement park, it was still raining, and the resort thoughtfully arranged shuttle buses to take guests back to the hotel. The resort's pet park isn't small, and it's kept very clean with no strong odors. If you're unsure what to eat, you can try the buffet on the second floor of the hot spring area for 50 per person, which offers a good variety of food. The hotel's location is a bit remote, so if you want to drive out for food, it'll be quite a distance. Perched 300 meters high, the 42nd-floor lobby, with its dazzling crystal chandeliers, creates an incredibly atmospheric vibe. I booked a sea-view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views of the Cross Gate waters and the Macau skyline. The sunset at dusk and the neon lights at night were all within sight. The bathtub by the window was perfect for photos, and I could simply relax in the room and admire the stunning night views of the Greater Bay Area.
The St. Regis's signature butler service was a perfect 10 – requests were answered quickly, and every detail felt special and仪式感 (a sense of ritual). The bedding was so comfortable that I slept soundly until morning. The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, making it ideal for couple anniversaries or short getaways. This hotel had two standout positives:
1. **Excellent Location:** It's incredibly close to the beach. Downstairs, there are public buses to all the attractions, as well as tour buses.
2. **Great Convenience:** Staying here felt very convenient. They provided a full range of items, such as free rental of sand-digging tools, tape for sending packages, nail clippers, plastic slippers, and chargers – truly everything you could need.
However, there were also two significant negatives:
1. **Cigarette Smoke in the Room:** When trying to sleep, there was a persistent smell of cigarette smoke around the bed. Of course, this isn't the hotel's fault directly, but rather due to inconsiderate guests smoking in the room. The smoke had absorbed into the velvet headboard and carpet. This really highlights the need for the hotel to implement stricter management and clearly enforce a no-smoking policy in the rooms.
2. **Poor Soundproofing:** Late at night, I could constantly hear loud shouting, laughing, and yelling from the neighboring room. Again, this was due to encountering rude guests.FromPLN 149

March 14, 2026. This was my first stay at the Hyatt Centric Zhuhai Jinshi, a new brand (to me) under the Hyatt umbrella. Every single staff member, from the security guard at the lobby entrance to the front desk and housekeeping, was incredibly welcoming. I particularly loved that there's one of my favorite Chinese restaurants right next to the Centric. The hotel is located by the Qianshan River, and the view from my bedroom window was absolutely delightful. In the evening, about 700 meters away, there's Baishi Bridge, which lights up beautifully, creating a dreamlike river scene. I stayed in room 1125; it wasn't huge, but it was spacious enough and very comfortable. My only slight disappointment was the severely unstable TV signal transmission. I believe this is due to poor cable routing, an insufficient number of signal boosters, or low-quality equipment. I hope management pays special attention to this. Apart from that, I would still gladly recommend this hotel to everyone, because compared to the nearby 'Renaissance' hotel, the 'Centric' offers incredibly good value for money.FromPLN 219

I've been here a few times now, and the facilities are great, and the location is superb. But what really makes me choose this place every time is Manager Amy. She always helps arrange the room perfectly and even booked dinner reservations for me. She's incredibly responsive and thoughtful. This time, I happened to catch their dinner buffet opening, and the overall quality was decent, though the preparation felt a bit lacking. First, the opening time was half an hour later than what was stated on the platform. Then, they forgot to include us in an event. When we first went in, there were only a few tables, and I saw some pretty good abalone, but then it disappeared and never reappeared. The shrimp also ran out and couldn't be refilled. After that, the herring roe was gone, and the salmon was gone just over an hour after opening. For a seafood buffet, aren't shrimp and salmon basic offerings? I've stayed at Mercure in Chengdu before and had a great impression of it. The front desk service here was very welcoming. It's located by the sea, and they offer complimentary sand-digging tools, which is a nice touch. For laundry, staff even help to check on the progress, which is really thoughtful. They greet guests whenever they see them. There are many attractions nearby, and it's quite close to Xiangluwan Beach. The room also includes a free mini-bar. The location of Palm Spring Hotel is very strategic, being close to Zhuhai Railway Station, Gongbei Port & Xiawan Market. The hotel free transfer service is an added merits. The hotel is clean & well-maintained. Staff are friendly & helpful. The breakfast is good with a wide variety of choices. One of the highlights of this hotel is the complimentary access to the resort club facilities, including the spa & sauna with unlimited drinks & fruits, which is a wonderful added benefit. There is also self-service coffee available at the reception area throughout the day. Overall, I had an excellent experience at Palm Spring Hotel. We stayed there for four days for a long weekend getaway. The experience was very relaxing. The hotel has mountain bikes, so we went out everyday riding bikes to nearby parks. We also enjoyed the daily wellness classes and the state of art gym. I even tried out some of the medical services that focus on prevention. The hotel must’ve spent a lot of efforts sourcing these machines and services.
The location is far away from the city center. It was exactly what we liked for a remote relaxing get away.

I chose the Huafeng Hotel specifically for my Chinese New Year trip to Zhuhai during the Year of the Horse. The hotel is conveniently located in the bustling Xiangzhou district, right next to Nanping Ancient Town. Huafa Mall and Beishan Historical Village are also close by, making dining, shopping, and sightseeing incredibly easy – a real bonus during the Chinese New Year! What's more, the hotel has a Zhuhai Airport city check-in counter, offering check-in services and an airport shuttle, so there's absolutely no need to worry about getting to the airport. The hotel rooms are well-designed, and the cleanliness is excellent. The service is truly thoughtful; upon checking in for the Chinese New Year, we received a gift bag and a mascot. I'd like to extend a special thanks to the lobby manager, Zhou Qianqian, for her warm and attentive service, which made guests feel incredibly welcome and at home. I think this is a good hotel. But it’s really out-of-the-way. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood though, so I like that it’s not noisy at night. I really like how comfortable the king size bed was. It’s pretty clean as well, but some of the furniture is old. There is a slight moldy smell  in the room because they gave me a smoker’s room.  I just slept with the window open. The room was really spacious and I was very happy with it. You don't need a key card for the electricity; the power is on as soon as you enter, which is great. If you need anything, a quick phone call is all it takes. It seemed quite busy during my stay, with lots of food deliveries, but there was only one robot, so if you didn't want to wait, you had to go downstairs to pick up your food yourself. My only minor complaint was that the shower space felt a bit cramped. The hotel has a laundry room on the second floor, but the washing machine and dryer are separate units. It was nice to have a big fridge, and they were generous with bottled water, providing two bottles daily regardless of whether the previous ones were finished. The hotel's service is very good, very warm, clean, and convenient to enter and exit. It is the beach in front of the door. It is very convenient to go swimming and diving. This homestay also has sea fishing to make an appointment. It is their own boat. The captain is very good and patient. He taught us to fish. The fish can be taken away for processing.
