She managed to get us a room upgrade during check-in, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was also very clean, with no visible dust or stains. The hotel is located in Futian, surrounded by many good restaurants, making it convenient for walks and shopping after dinner. Service: Special thanks to Bella and her team! The Ritz's service attitude was satisfying, but due to objective renovation issues, construction noise could be heard on every floor (starting at 8:30 AM, even on weekends). Bella was very considerate in trying to resolve the issue, and I'm very grateful. I believe this also perfectly embodies the Ritz's 'Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen' philosophy.
Facilities: The current Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen is definitely not in its best state. Even in the newly renovated rooms (renovation completed six months ago), there was still a faint smell of renovation. Running an air purifier made it tolerable. The new rooms are indeed spacious and well-maintained, with very new facilities.
Pool: It's very small and the water is extremely shallow. Many people just walk across the pool, and there's no staff to stop them. The 'fire cloud' evening view is beautiful, but I wouldn't recommend it for serious swimmers. If you're just looking for a photo op, it's fine.
Cigar Bar: The staff were very patient, but the quality of the cigars varied, and the cocktails were just average.
Overall, as a first-time guest at the Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen, I found their service to be the best among hotels in the Futian district. However, objectively speaking, the renovation definitely detracted a few points from their 100-point service. I look forward to a better experience on my next stay at the Ritz! 🥂FromCAD 375

The hotel staff readily agreed and did an amazing job with the birthday decorations! Upon arrival, we were informed that both rooms had been complimentary upgraded to high-floor deluxe rooms, and the birthday decorations inside the rooms were perfect! I'm incredibly satisfied! 😊
**Food:** Breakfast is served at the all-day dining restaurant, the Beer Bar on the 3rd floor. IHG members can move to the Prego Italian restaurant for a quieter atmosphere. The continental buffet breakfast offers a rich variety and excellent quality, including a noodle station and made-to-order omelets. The omelets and black truffle scrambled eggs were particularly amazing!
For lunch, we used a dining voucher at the Fu Lin Men restaurant on the 2nd floor. Note that the voucher can only be used for à la carte stir-fries; it's not applicable for tea or dim sum, and cannot be combined with member discounts or group purchases. The dim sum at Fu Lin Men is excellent; the shrimp dumplings are smooth and tender, the tripe is crisp, and the stir-fries are consistently good. After using the voucher, the total cost for three people was 210 yuan, which was a very satisfying meal overall! 😋

The welcome fruit was fresh and seasonal, and knowing my child enjoyed it, they sent another portion early the next morning. The family-friendly setup was warm and appropriate, and the kids' activities were a lot of fun. During a short family break in Shenzhen, I was impressed by the signature Champagne Sabering Ceremony held every evening at 6:30pm. But Kimi Chen noticed my disappointment, and together with Chief Floor Butler Alice Chen, somehow managed to arrange for me to experience it on my second evening. It was a thoughtful gesture and a beautiful memory that will stay with me for a long time.

Open the window to a sunset over the orange sea 🌇. Sunlight streams into the room, making even the air feel gentle. The courtyard is fragrant with lemon trees and passion fruit, and you can spend an entire afternoon on the swing. A cocktail and a tipsy view of the sea are so therapeutic.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Shenzhen Yantian for a summer camp with our child, and unfortunately, a typhoon hit, disrupting our travel plans. We're incredibly grateful for the hotel's thoughtful arrangements. A very capable and handsome gentleman with glasses at the front desk kindly extended our check-out time, allowing us to pack without rushing and giving our child ample time to rest. This really saved us in a pinch.
The hotel offers expansive sea views from its high floors, and the rooms are clean and comfortable with complete amenities, making it very family-friendly overall. Even with the extreme weather, the staff were patient, attentive, and responded promptly. Beyond the excellent facilities, the service truly had a warm touch. The room facilities are complete and it's very clean, a non-smoking room with no strange odors. You can see Window of the World from the window. The king-size bed is a bit soft, but the children's bed is just right. The breakfast buffet is quite rich and the taste is decent. Yitian Plaza is downstairs, there's a food street nearby, and a metro station not far away, making transportation convenient.
However, the underground parking lot is on B3 of Yitian Plaza and is quite old. On rainy days, there's a bit of an odor... I hope it can be upgraded and renovated in the future.FromCAD 138

We love staying here when in Shenzhen. Perfect for early afternoon flights or travel by bus and metro. The hotel is very well-presented and the breakfast is excellent. We got upgraded to the De Luxe Suite. Lots of space. Big bathroom area. Separate storage room. Nice and quiet, like all the rooms we've stayed in here. I want to give a special thank you to my room attendant, Aggie, for her meticulous care. She treated us like family, being both friendly and polite. She helped us resolve every issue that came up during our stay promptly and efficiently, and ensured all the room facilities were perfectly arranged. She deserves high praise! The room was tidy and clean, with ample facilities. If we needed anything added or replaced, we could contact the room attendant immediately, and the efficiency was absolutely superb.
The most attractive feature is undoubtedly the hotel's beach pool. The kids played all day and didn't want to leave. The soft white sand was specially imported from Hainan Island. The lifeguards tirelessly watched over the children's safety in the pool, even under the hot sun. Don't miss out on the other kids' play facilities either. The hotel's breakfast buffet is also a must-try; it was a pleasant surprise, especially the freshly squeezed customizable fruit and vegetable juices. The variety of food could rival a dinner buffet. The hotel is large and has everything you could need, offering plenty to do for families with children.
The beach right outside the hotel is very close, although the sand isn't fine. It's a public beach, with one section for swimming with lifeguards and another without.
It would be even better if the pool area had a dedicated kids' playground (the 'Starlight Pool' costs extra). There aren't many dining options nearby. We had the buffet dinner at the hotel, which was decent value for money, but the menu could use more frequent updates.
There's an extra charge if you go over the allotted time for the complimentary photo shoot.
The hotel's attention to detail needs improvement. We waited 30 minutes to get our room, which is inefficient. We also had to queue for 15-20 minutes to enter the breakfast restaurant, which feels like a waste of guests' time. Despite requesting a child safety rail in advance, it wasn't provided.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I could feel it was different from other business hotels. There was no cold, procedural feeling; the concierge proactively remembered my surname and greeted me softly when I passed by. During check-in, the front desk, based on my booked room type, automatically arranged a room with a better view. The lobby even had iced lemon tea to cool me down from the heat of my journey.
The hotel's breakfast was an even bigger surprise. The freshly made wonton noodles had a rich broth, and the pleats of the har gow (shrimp dumplings) exuded authentic Cantonese flavor. Even the Western croissants were baked to a perfect crispy outside and tender inside. The gym and pool facilities were also quite good.
On the day of checkout, because I was rushing for my high-speed train, the front desk prepared my invoice in advance and had the concierge take my luggage directly to the parking lot. This kind of 'subtle and seamless' service is more comfortable than any forced attempt to please. It's amazing to be by the beach and to wake up and see this. But it's worth noting this is a homestay and not a hotel so sometimes the standards expected of a hotel may not be there. My personal view is that small minor inconveniences are ok and this homestay in particular is rather responsive in service (ask to clean the floor as there is sand, and to refill the soap) - just that I came from Holiday Inn earlier and I can see some differences. They have a Chinese video platform provided via a projector so you can view quite a lot of Chinese programmes.
