Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's surroundings are really quiet, and the room's soundproofing was excellent, so both the elderly and the kids slept soundly. We felt very confident about the cleanliness; the bedding and toiletries were spotless. All the staff were incredibly kind, and they were very quick to respond to any requests. Our whole family had such a wonderful time, I highly recommend it for family trips! The room was spacious enough for the kids to move around comfortably, and the hygiene was top-notch. Plus, the restaurants around the hotel offered light and healthy options, perfect for children. Getting around was convenient too. The entire experience was incredibly thoughtful and pleasant!

The Sheraton Guilin Hotel is quite renowned, having hosted numerous heads of state, which speaks volumes about its status. Its location is superb, very close to Elephant Trunk Hill, the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, the pedestrian street, and Dao Feng Bookstore, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Though built in 1988, the interior has been recently renovated, so the room facilities are very new. Upon check-in, they even gave our child a small elephant plush toy, which they absolutely loved – such thoughtful service! The best part is that we got a group deal for 899 RMB for two nights, which is unbeatable value for money!

The hotel room's location couldn't be better! The view of Elephant Trunk Hill from the hotel is even more complete than from within the scenic area itself. Getting around is super convenient, and the hotel thoughtfully provided a list of great local restaurants. The breakfast was unexpectedly lavish! There was even a towel elephant made by the staff in the room, which was absolutely adorable! 😍

I chose the Qiao CIAO Hotel for my short stay in Guilin, and its riverside location right by the Li River is absolutely fantastic! It's been raining lightly recently, and the infinity pool on the first floor looks incredibly inviting. The pool water seems to blend seamlessly with the outdoor mountain scenery, and a gentle breeze just makes you feel completely relaxed. I booked a twin room, and it was spacious and brand new. The lighting was warm and inviting, and there was a large bathtub – perfect for a relaxing soak after exploring the mountains and rivers, it really helped me unwind. You absolutely must try the Guilin rice noodles for breakfast. A warm bowl of it is incredibly satisfying, and you can add as many toppings as you like. There's also a good variety of fruits and pastries, so you can take your time and enjoy your meal without rushing. The ambiance, rooms, and breakfast were all excellent. This short trip was incredibly comfortable, and I'd definitely recommend considering this hotel if you're visiting Guilin!

I have to give a big shout-out to the hotel's Front Office team! I stayed here for four nights, and the facilities and service were impeccable. Even though the hotel has been around for a while, everything is incredibly well-maintained. The duty manager, Tommy Tang, was very enthusiastic and helpful. There were children jumping around upstairs, which was affecting my rest. Manager Tang handled my issue very seriously and responsibly, and made sure to properly hand it over so that the next day's duty manager, Luo Hongping, could help me resolve the problem perfectly and communicate effectively. The hotel's indoor and outdoor swimming pools are also very large, with comfortable water temperatures and crystal-clear water. Zhang Weiwei from the recreation center provided excellent service. Shangri-La will definitely be my top choice again in the future.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the city center, yet it's surprisingly quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep! They also arrange parking, which was incredibly convenient as we didn't have to search for a spot ourselves. In the evening, it was super easy to walk to attractions like Shan Lake, the Sun and Moon Pagodas, and East and West Alley – most were just a pleasant 5-10 minute stroll away. The lobby offered freshly brewed Luo Han Guo tea, and the front desk staff, noticing we had sore throats, even gifted us some upon checkout – so thoughtful! Our room was clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. While it's not a brand-new hotel, you can tell it's very well-maintained. There's also a self-service laundry room and a restaurant upstairs. The breakfast had a great variety, and the Guilin rice noodles were particularly delicious! Overall, a really good experience!

Returned for another stay at this hotel because of its beautiful environment and excellent hygiene. The service was fantastic all around. A special shout-out to the ladies working shifts on the 12th, 27th, and 21st (both day and night) for their exceptional service. I wasn't feeling well due to a cold, and one of the staff members thoughtfully applied medicated oil, massaged pressure points on my head, and even helped upgrade my room. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time! Hotel Response: [The 'Sky Mirror' on the seventh floor is a beautiful spot for photos]

This resort hotel has a Chinese-style exterior and European-style interior. The rooms are genuinely spacious, and the bathroom is also huge, even featuring a bathtub, which my child absolutely loved. Personally, I think the value for money during a holiday like May Day is incredibly high! On the first night, my child's mother complained that the shower water pressure was a bit low. The next day, the front desk promptly moved us to a different room, right across from our original one. This was so thoughtful, the room change was effortless, and the service was excellent!

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the room. You can see it in the pictures below. **Ambiance:** Elegant. It's right by Rong Lake. In the evening, you can enjoy a gentle breeze by the lake, taking in the tranquility and beauty of the night. **Cleanliness:** Spotless and tidy. **Facilities:** Excellent facilities. There's a self-service laundry room on level B1, and you can even iron clothes there, which was an unexpected bonus. There's also a swimming pool in the hotel's central courtyard if you fancy a swim. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, with several types of bread. Both the cold and hot dishes were superb. There were many foreign guests at the hotel at the time, indicating that it caters to both Eastern and Western tastes and preferences. **Service:** There's a housekeeping department on every floor. **Areas for improvement:** During meal times, staff should be more prompt in clearing fruit peels and leftover food scraps from tables.

This is my go-to hotel whenever I'm traveling, it offers incredible value for money. The room was spotlessly clean, the bathroom had no unpleasant odors, and there was always hot water available. All the toiletries were well-stocked. The mattress was just the right firmness, ensuring a super refreshing night's sleep. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi speed was consistently stable, great for streaming or working without any lag. It's conveniently located downstairs for easy access to transport, and the front desk staff are really welcoming and helpful – they sorted out any issues right away. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Whether it's for a business trip or a short getaway, staying here is worry-free and comfortable. I brought my family to Guilin this time and chose the Dragon's Den Puyu Hotel's [Elephant Trunk Hill View Two-Bedroom Triple Room]. The hotel is directly opposite Gate 1 of Elephant Trunk Hill Park. It's just a three-minute walk across the street to the scenic area entrance. Our room's window faced Elephant Trunk Hill directly; pulling back the curtains revealed Guilin's iconic landscape painting. The room had everything – a fridge, mini-bar, and a bathroom with a separate wet and dry area, which made for a really comfortable stay!

Heshe Hotel stands as one of the finest resorts for accommodation in Guilin. Their hospitality, culinary offerings, ambiance, and staff are all exceptionally delightful and helpful. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by amazing front desk attendant, Melody. She assisted us through out our stay and made sure we’re comfortable and well taken care of and our tour guide, Eric, who communicated fluently in English, significantly easing our experience as non-Chinese speakers. The owner was equally gracious, sharing their barbecue with us, creating a sense of homeliness. This hotel is located just 15 minutes from the main tourist attractions, with rooms that are very clean and offer breathtaking views. I am definitely coming back again.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. Staff greeted us with smiles, processed our check-in quickly, and even proactively asked about our needs. When the weather was hot, they thoughtfully prepared fresh fruit (crisp plums) and iced drinks (sour plum juice, lemonade) in the lobby for guests to enjoy at any time. The room was clean and tidy, with dust-free floors and fresh bedding. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and was well-equipped (hair dryer, toiletries). The kids absolutely loved the tent and ride-on toy in the room, and there was plenty of space for them to play freely. On the 10th floor, there's a dedicated kids' play area with slides, a ball pit, and a picture book corner, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, we were very satisfied.

This hotel offers exceptional service for its price point. Upon arrival, someone immediately assisted us with our luggage, and the lovely front desk staff escorted us to our room. The service was effortlessly attentive whenever we needed anything. I also have to commend the breakfast – the live kitchen cooked fresh dishes on the spot, with no shortcuts taken, and refills were prompt. We visited on a weekday, and they didn't compromise on food quality just because there were fewer guests. The rice noodles were delicious! Every breakfast item showcased local specialties while maintaining great flavor. They even had freshly grilled steaks, and the chefs were all smiles, which really brightened our day. It was very hot in Guilin in July, and my child spent an hour in the 5th-floor pool. They thoughtfully activated the wave machine for us! Even though the pool is small, it was perfectly adequate for kids to have fun, and they provided inner tubes and kickboards. The room itself was even better – we had a direct view of the Twin Pagodas. It rained that evening in Guilin, and the Twin Pagodas in the rain were absolutely stunning. I must praise the sofa on the balcony; it was incredibly comfortable! You could practically sleep on it – not those stiff, uncomfortable types of sofas, which shows real attention to detail. The room offered views of the Twin Pagodas, the lake, and the surrounding mountains in the distance; the scenery was breathtaking! This will definitely be our first choice next time we visit Guilin!

Upon arrival, I found that a section of the hotel was under renovation. There were a lot of construction materials near the elevator entrance and plenty of dust from the renovation on the floor. My family even joked that after all my careful searching, I ended up picking a hotel undergoing renovations! There was a slight formaldehyde smell inside the elevator on my floor, but it became very faint once we entered the room, almost unnoticeable unless you specifically tried to smell it. The room had no windows and felt a bit stuffy, which I knew before booking. There was a faint musty smell in the room, and I'm not sure if it was related to the lack of ventilation. However, the room itself was relatively clean. Overall, I really didn't expect the renovation... I was a bit taken aback during check-in 😮. I hope things improve once the renovations are complete.

Ha, the advantage of Lefeng is the fine decoration and 20+ square meters. It seems not as stable and practical as other cheaper brands. 1. There is a pull rod outside the bathroom door but not inside. In fact, it can be pushed open in both directions. 2. The faucet design is difficult to understand and control, and the wash basin is very small and splashes water. 3. The toilet paper holder is crooked and the paper fell to the ground. 4. There is no shelf in the shower. The toiletries are placed on the old crooked big bottle, which also fell to the ground. 5. The shower adjus**ent knob seems convenient but is actually difficult to understand. It is inevitable to be showered with a lot of cold water first. The top shower leaks and has a rotten hole. 6. The disposable slippers are small and dirty, and should be cancelled. Repair the bathroom quickly!
