I recently stayed at Pan Pacific Suzhou and would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for the hotel’s scenic environment, impeccable cleanliness, and the high standard of service provided throughout my stay. The tranquil surroundings and well-kept facilities provided a truly relaxing experience that reflects the best of Suzhou’s hospitality. In particular, I wish to commend one of your service staff members, Mr. Tan Xingyu, for his exceptional dedication and assistance on the evening of 14 November. I returned to the hotel around 9 p.m. and realized that I had left a shopping bag at a restaurant in 苏州广场. I approached Xingyu for help, and although the restaurant was already closed, he immediately offered to contact them and make arrangements for the next day.As I was departing early for Shanghai the following morning on 15 Nov, time was very limited. To my surprise and great appreciation, Xingyu personally went to the restaurant after his work shift to retrieve the shopping bag and ensured it was safely returned to me before check-out. His willingness to go beyond his duty, sacrificing his personal time, demonstrated genuine care and remarkable professionalism.Xingyu’s humble attitude, resourcefulness, and commitment to guest satisfaction are truly commendable. His actions left a deep impression on me and exemplify the outstanding service culture of Pan Pacific Suzhou. With such warm hospitality, I will certainly return on future visits and recommend your hotel to friends and family visiting Suzhou. Please extend my sincere thanks to Mr. Tan Xingyu for his exemplary service.

This time, we took our child to stay in the Ultraman themed room at the Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou, and the experience far exceeded our expectations! It's definitely an excellent choice for family trips! The moment we opened the door, our child screamed with excitement! The room was simply a dream kingdom tailor-made for little Ultraman fans. From the wall decorations, bedding, and tent to the cute Ultraman plush toys, every detail was meticulously crafted and of top-notch quality – definitely not cheap stickers hastily put together. Our little one was immersed in the excitement of 'fighting alongside Ultraman' all night long, even sleeping with an Ultraman doll in hand. For us parents, seeing our child so happy made the trip completely worth it. Besides the themed room itself, the hotel's service also left a deep impression on us. The staff at the front desk and housekeeping were all very friendly and would proactively smile and greet our child, which made us feel very warm, especially the club lounge staff who were very enthusiastic. The hotel's cleanliness, as always, met Shangri-La's high standards – spotless, and the facilities were well-maintained, making for a very reassuring stay. The breakfast selection was rich, with many Chinese and Western options, as well as pastries and fruits that children love, satisfying the whole family. The hotel's location is also very convenient, not far from nearby attractions and shopping malls. This stay was undoubtedly a wonderful memory for our entire family. We highly recommend it to all families with children, especially little Ultraman fans – this is definitely your happy paradise! We're already looking forward to our next stay!

Guanqian Street/Pingjiang Street Suzhou|4km from city center
The hotel is just 300 meters from Leqiao Station, offering a peaceful yet central location that makes getting around incredibly convenient. A major highlight for me was the spacious underground parking. After a two-night stay, I used parking vouchers to cover ¥120 of the parking fee when checking out. Driving and parking in the city center are notoriously difficult, so having complimentary parking was an absolute godsend. The rooms are a bit dated; some power outlets were loose, and the carpet showed signs of wear. However, the price was quite reasonable compared to other five-star hotels, especially considering even small guesthouses in this area can cost upwards of ¥500. I checked in late and my original room type was sold out, but fortunately, the front desk upgraded my room. This thoughtful gesture truly enhanced my Suzhou trip and left me with warm memories.

1. The hotel's location is excellent, right at the Xinghai Street Metro Station exit – you step out and it's there. It's also just a 10-minute walk to the Gate of the Orient, which is incredibly convenient for tourists. I even caught the musical fountain show at night! 🎶 2. The breakfast spread is extensive, especially the coffee, which is fantastic – one of the best I've had at a hotel. The potstickers and noodle bar were quite popular. 3. The facilities are new, the room is well-maintained, and the bedding is comfortable. There's also a self-service laundry room. Overall, it was a very good stay.

Located in the heart of the industrial park, Hilton offers an unparalleled experience of tranquility yet convenience for anyone who wants to visit Suzhou. The amenities and service are amazing as its reputation and I had a great time relaxing while staying here for vacation. The staff was kind to upgrade our rooms such that it’s adjacent to each other and readily agreed to extend my checkout time to accommodate my train timings. While it might be a distance away from the popular tourist attraction, cabs are easy to find and cheap to travel in to destinations like the Lion’s Grove or the Tongli ancient town. The only downside to my stay was that I was not able to see the Jinji lake from my room. The breakfast was quite a spread with many different cuisine at great quality and would highly recommend you to book a room with breakfast as there are not many food options nearby. Family Matt opposite the hotel will serve all your urgent needs. Overall, I had a great stay and will highly recommend this place to business/ families who are good with taking cabs to tourist destinations.

Location: Superb! Stepping out of the hotel, you're greeted by lush greenery, and just a 3-minute walk leads you to Jinji Lake, right in a very lively and bustling area. Breakfast: The spread was incredibly rich and comprehensive, offering everything you could possibly want. Be aware there's a queue between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM. When we first went in, there were no available tables, but the staff were incredibly attentive and proactive – they didn't ignore us but quickly helped us find and clear a table, getting us seated promptly. The variety was dazzling: soy milk, fried dough sticks, pork ribs, tofu skin rolls, red soup noodles, three-filling buns, freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, salads, coffee, ice cream, various beverages, bread, pan-fried buns, Jianbing Guozi, oatmeal... The breakfast experience itself felt like a highlight of our trip. Pool: Absolutely loved it! There were adults and children swimming, but it never felt crowded, probably fewer than 20 people at any time. The pool was clean, luxurious, and offered views of the Gate of the Orient. Guests only need to bring themselves, swimwear, and a change of clothes; the changing rooms provide plastic slippers, tissues, cotton swabs, water, large (very comfortable) towels, and more. Swim caps are mandatory for entry. Room: The size was just right, and the bedding was very comfortable. They provide two types of pillows, which I highly recommend: one firm and one softer – I loved both. We booked a lake-view room, which also offered views of the Ferris wheel. The large windows provided expansive views and excellent natural light. Service: Staff member Jack was highly efficient, polite, and professional, providing all sorts of excellent services to guests. The InterContinental also showed great flexibility. After checking out, we went to Tongli, leaving our luggage at the hotel. We returned to pick up our bags after exploring Tongli and were able to organize our belongings and rest in the hotel lobby without being rushed by the staff. I had initially planned to dine in Tongli, but I decisively chose the InterContinental's restaurant instead. The ambiance was great, the service was excellent, and the air conditioning was perfect. As we had a 7:30 PM train to catch, I communicated with the staff in advance about dining earlier. It was absolutely no problem; the transition was seamless, and the dishes were delicious. My parents even said the Yangzhou Dried Shredded Tofu was better than what they'd had in Yangzhou. The Mango Pomelo Sago, at first glance, looked like steamed egg custard, but one taste revealed it was incredibly delicious – silky smooth and rich. Even my usually thrifty father commented, 'It would have been great if we had also had dinner here yesterday.' What I really want to convey to the hotel is that with excellent service and delicious food, customers will definitely be willing to pay, regardless of the price. We were satisfied with our entire experience at the hotel, including the accommodation, pool, breakfast, and restaurant. Due to the extreme heat and a sudden thunderstorm, we didn't get to explore Jinji Lake much. So, we'll definitely have to come back to Jinji Lake. I told my mother, 'Next time we visit, let's try a different five-star hotel.' But she replied, 'No way, we're staying at the InterContinental again. It has to be the InterContinental!'

Upon seeing online that the Lamborghini Scriptorium Hotel offered lake-view rooms, I eagerly made a booking. We were visiting Suzhou Museum with our child during the last few days of summer vacation. Arriving at the hotel, we were immediately captivated by its exquisite garden features. The staff's warm and attentive service further put us completely at ease. In particular, Yuki and Grace stood out for their professional and enthusiastic service, always going the extra mile for guests. Our room boasted upscale facilities and offered a comfortable, home-like ambiance. The spacious lake-view balcony provided expansive views and was literally right by the water, allowing us to see the boardwalk stretching into the lake from our vantage point. It was also incredibly convenient to take a stroll downstairs to the iconic Gate of the Orient, which could even be photographed directly from the hotel. Both the hotel's own Chinese restaurant and Su Mian Fang (Suzhou Noodle House) offered excellent quality dining. If I have the chance to visit Suzhou again, I would definitely choose this hotel and its lake-view rooms. The only minor drawback was the relatively small size of the hotel's swimming pool. However, as the hotel is part of the same group as the Crown Plaza, the staff enthusiastically arranged for us to use the Crown Plaza's pool. Their outdoor pool, open during summer, offered truly magnificent views of the lake and the Gate of the Orient!

This is our second time staying at the Crowne Plaza. Last summer, my friends and I brought the kids here for a holiday, and we were so impressed with the experience that we decided to come back and bring more friends this time, especially since we were in town for crab season. The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the Gate of the Orient (the 'Big Underpants' building) and close to Jinji Lake. Suzhou Center Mall is just a 5-minute walk away – you really can't beat this location! The hotel is designed like a ship, so all the decor inside has a nautical theme. I particularly loved the little fish cushions on the sofas in the lobby lounge, they were so cute! This time, we stayed in an Executive Floor room with a Jinji Lake view. The view from the room was incredible, with the large corner windows offering panoramic views of Jinji Lake. Before check-in, the concierge contacted me and, knowing it was one of my friends' birthdays, thoughtfully arranged a cake, decorated the room, and even upgraded our room type. It was incredibly touching! The hotel's breakfast spread is also very rich; those who like nourishing options should definitely try the honeycomb.

The two-bedroom apartment is ideal for family trips, and it looks just like the pictures online. I stayed in unit 705. The master bedroom is spacious, while the second bedroom is a bit smaller and has a pillar. However, the living room and master bedroom offer superb views, overlooking the musical fountain, the Exhibition Center across the lake, and the Ferris wheel. The night view is quite spectacular. The Gate of the Orient is right next door. The Chinese restaurant on the 34th floor offers excellent value weekday lunch sets. The infinity pool on the 36th floor is decent, and the gym is great, fully equipped with a wide range of machines. The apartments and regular guest rooms have separate elevators, but they are in the same building. You can transfer directly on the 4th floor, saving you from walking halfway around the lobby.

Everything was excellent – the environment, the service, everything. There's a shuttle service to the hot springs, so you don't have to walk at all. Even though the hot springs are quite close, the shuttle staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. While soaking in the hot springs, we also encountered many staff members with wonderful attitudes. They even shared tips on the best times and spots for sunset views, and pointed out kid-friendly areas. Honestly, everything was top-notch. I only managed to snap a picture of one staff member's badge, as their service was particularly impressive, but all the staff were truly great; I just didn't get photos of everyone. The hotel swimming pool was also fantastic, and the coffee was delicious. We didn't get a chance to explore other facilities, but my child already said they want to come back again!

I always stay at the Grand Hyatt whenever I visit Suzhou, but this time, the experience was quite disappointing. I felt compelled to write a review. **Service:** Due to my late check-in the previous day (past 11 PM), I had confirmed with the hotel in advance and at the front desk that I could extend my check-out until 2 PM. However, at 12:30 PM, I received a call to my room, informing me that my complimentary extension was only for 30 minutes and that I needed to pack up and check out *immediately*. Even after I explained our prior arrangement, they rigidly insisted I must be at the front desk to check out by 2 PM. This kind of situation has never occurred before, and it was quite frustrating. **Check-in Experience:** On the day of check-in, even though it was already past 11 PM, the front desk attendant was quite friendly. However, for some reason, she could only locate my booking for a single night, which led to a long and tiring back-and-forth. I had booked a Jinji Lake View room, but the room assigned (number 10) was almost at the very end of the lake-facing side, offering a minimal view of the lake. It was nearly midnight, and I was too exhausted to request a room change. Adding to this, I noticed the attendant at the next counter proactively offering a room upgrade to another guest, while I was still stuck trying to sort out my booking – a stark contrast. **A Special Compliment:** I must give a special shout-out to the cleaning lady on our floor. She always greeted us warmly whenever we passed by, and after noticing us taking bottled water when we left the room, she proactively placed two extra bottles in our room. That was a very thoughtful and excellent gesture.

Checking out today, and I wanted to leave a heartfelt review. We were very satisfied with our stay at Park Hyatt, and the whole family was delighted. My husband even described it as a 'small but exquisite' hotel, with exceptional attention to detail in their service. I also loved the Suzhou-style aesthetic, and any request we made was met immediately, with an impressive level of efficiency that surprised me. A big thanks to our thoughtful butler, Elara, who provided excellent service throughout our stay. Honestly, every staff member was incredibly dedicated. This kind of hotel really makes guests feel welcome, and our stay was exceptionally comfortable. Park Hyatt is known for its design, so naturally, we took a lot of photos. One night, there was some noise from upstairs that kept us from sleeping, but when we called guest services, it was resolved right away. At check-out, they even thoughtfully prepared a surprise gift for us – they truly put so much thought into everything. We’ll definitely be returning to this hotel next time we’re in Suzhou. It’s absolutely worth it, and the breakfast was also rich and exquisite.

Above average in all areas. Only 2 small things, but difficult to complain at all. Amazing service, above average for China. Food was not just above average - top level and not too expensive. All facilities were excellent, though the kyaking in the photos do not exist anymore. A small, but still a reason I booked was it showed kyacking for kids, which my son loves, therefore one (but not the only reason) for booking. Trip.com should update this image. I would suggest also redoing the lobby area, its way too small. Its one of the smallest lobby's in any 5 star hotel, and when its on the weekend and everyone booking in at the same time, its very noisy and crowded. The lobby and reception area should be 2-3 times the size. But these two negatives do not distract from the many positives which were above 5-stars. If these other two could be fixed it would be one of the top hotel stays in China.

naked Retreats Suzhou, a premier resort hotel situated on the west side of Suzhou by Taihu Lake, is a place my family and I return to several times a year with our children. What continuously draws us back is everything from its beautiful environment and public spaces to its excellent family-friendly facilities and dining services. The warm and attentive service from the hotel staff and management, in particular, always makes us feel right at home. A special thanks also goes to Ariel, Devin, and Rose from the F&B team, and Adrian and Nancy from the front desk, for providing us with such outstanding service and a memorable experience during our stay!

Facilities: The facilities are well-maintained, but some furniture and the mini-fridge cabinet are showing their age. Hygiene: The hygiene was generally good. After being upgraded to a high-floor view room, the bathroom was very spacious. I didn't use the bathtub due to hygiene concerns and the tall buildings opposite. The only drawback was the strong sewer smell, but the smart toilet was convenient. Environment: The environment is top-notch, right opposite Shishan Square with excellent night views. Subway access is also convenient. Service: The service was absolutely first-class. Upon arrival, I was given a deluxe room. Due to an oversight in cleaning, there was an eyelash stuck to the toilet, and the window screen was old and damaged. I mentioned it to customer service, and they immediately changed my room. The efficiency was impressive. Thanks to this great service experience, I had a memorable Mid-Autumn Festival. I also went to Shishan Square opposite to watch the drone show and market performances that evening. Breakfast was very rich and varied, and the glutinous rice balls and wontons from Zhu Xinnian were absolutely amazing! I think it's richer and tastier than the breakfast at XXton Hotel. The ladies at the front desk were very enthusiastic, especially the kind lady with glasses who processed my check-in quickly. I suggest adding automatic curtains, especially in the view rooms where the windows are large, as the current heavy curtains are quite cumbersome to draw. This hotel will definitely be my top choice for future stays in the New District.

The front desk area at Vienna International Hotel was an absolute delight, truly exceeding my expectations! Stepping into the lobby, I was immediately drawn in by the rich, elegant European ambiance. Crystal chandeliers paired with warm lighting, pristine marble floors, and exquisite floral arrangements created a luxurious atmosphere. The front desk layout was well-designed, spacious and not at all crowded. The sofas in the waiting area were soft and comfortable, thoughtfully equipped with charging ports and complimentary tea, making the check-in process incredibly pleasant. The counter was spotless, the staff were impeccably dressed, and their service was both warm and professional. Check-in was efficient and quick, and they patiently answered all my questions. The overall environment was quiet and orderly, without any noise. Every detail showed great care, from the subtle fragrance to the background music, all contributing to a very comfortable experience. Such an elegant and thoughtful front desk environment instantly elevated my entire stay. Five stars, highly recommended!

I am definitely a frequent traveler/stayer/eater, and I have experienced many high-end hotels/boutique B&Bs/boutique restaurants. But this time I want to say: This boutique B&B (inn) is worth my recommendation. 1. The owner of the inn is a famous Suzhou garden designer, so the taste and foundation of the inn are very good. 2. The male and female managers have a good hobby and cultivation of tea art/meditation and meditation, which adds a lot of added value and fun to the inn. 3. In addition to the good breakfast included in the inn, the inn owner will also invite customers to join their private lunch and dinner, which is very authentic Hunan cuisine, which is simply a unique and exquisite dish in Tongli. 4. Warm and warm service and feeling. . . . Of course, other routine services are also very good, so I won’t say more. In short, recommended!

The hotel is in a good location and is very convenient to the subway entrance. The lady at the front desk was enthusiastic and responsible in answering all questions. We drove to the underground parking lot and there was a parking coupon upon check-out. The hotel is right behind Ligong Embankment. The surrounding area is very quiet during the day, so I turned to Jinji Lake. The environment is beautiful!
