We were lured to this hotel through recommendation of influencers that boast this hotel with it's majestic look of that looking like a Chinese traditional castle. Although the location is not quite what we really like as it is about 8-10mins walking from the nearest Metro Station (Nanmen Metro) but the price was quite affordable and enticing that we decided to give it a try. The hotel facade does looks magnificant, grand and big from afar, the interior is huge and traditionally well-kept even though the design looks a bit dated but I find that it stays classy and traditional that way. We were assigned to one of the furthest room all the way to the back at 5069. The walk was quite long since it was all the way at the back. Room is definitely big and allow opening of luggages all at one go. The amenities given was sufficient, except they can improve by giving more shower bath gel and shampoo as the small bottles was not enough. Was also hoping they could have install international plugs for their international guest being an international hotel chain as well. Their staffs were polite and professional. Woudl recommend anyone coming to Suzhou to give this hotel one shot at least! The most important thing is the hotel stay comes with complimentary park access which is connected at the back of the hotel which would cost RMB40 if you were to pay to go in! Worth it!

Booked the Shangri-La on Tayuan Road for a client, and the experience was fantastic! I'd stayed there years ago, and even after such a long time, the quality is still top-notch, truly living up to its reputation as a classic luxury hotel. The staff were exceptionally proactive and warm; from guiding us through check-in to responding to requests, everything was meticulous and thoughtful, showcasing their professionalism. The room was spacious and spotless, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the facilities were complete without feeling dated. It was a very comfortable stay. The entire experience exceeded expectations, and my client gave excellent feedback. For business travel, the Shangri-La on Tayuan Road is incredibly reliable. Highly recommend it – I'll definitely choose it again next time!

A pretty standard hotel. While most other aspects were acceptable, the numerous neglected areas with poor hygiene were simply unacceptable. The bathtub's pipes were severely molded and rusted. When I asked for it to be addressed, their explanation was appalling: 'Nobody uses the bathtubs anymore,' 'We're too busy to clean everything,' and 'It hasn't been pulled out and checked in a year; no one uses it, no one complained, you're the only one who noticed.' This attitude is completely unacceptable. Regardless of whether guests use a facility or not, it should always be kept clean. And for a guest's feedback to be turned into their own fault is just outrageous.

This is my first time staying at the Hilton Hotel in Suzhou. I had a very pleasant staying there and was very impressive w the environment and services there. Staff members are warm and eager to help, especially Verena who was super helpful in making us feel at home and let us try out the afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge on the 42nd floor w a sweeping view of the beautiful city. My corner room was nice, clean, and quiet. The breakfast buffet was definitely worth it w fresh and tasty Chinese and Western food. The dining rooms in the restaurant on the third floor are elegantly decorated. Would love to go back and stay at tbis hotel again:)

This was our first trip with our infant, so we chose a well-established five-star hotel hoping for a smooth experience. This InterContinental had both its pros and cons. Pros: Excellent location. As soon as we entered the room, we were greeted with an expansive lake view. There's a large circular bathtub, perfect for baby baths. Cons: Around 8:30 PM that day, while the baby was sleeping, the room phone suddenly rang. It was guest relations calling to check on our stay. The sudden ringing startled the baby so much... and it scared me too! I don't understand why they had to call at that hour; even if we hadn't been sleeping, it would have been a shock. The dust on the night light strip in the room was very noticeable when the light was on.

First off, regarding the location, it's right by the Jinshui Bay pier, offering the best spot for admiring the night view. The hotel itself boasts an architectural design with a strong Suzhou charm. Stepping into the room, I was immediately enveloped by an atmosphere that blended technology with elegance. The floating TV cabinet perfectly complemented the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, making the entire space bright and airy when the sun shone in. The bedside touch panel integrated multiple smart functions, allowing me to switch scene modes without even getting out of bed. The mini-bar discreetly held Suzhou-style pastries and Italian coffee, allowing me to effortlessly switch between Jiangnan flavors and Italian flair, enjoying my own unique travel experience. Hotel concierges Yuki and Sunny were incredibly thoughtful, even upgrading my room, which brought a perfect end to our trip. Highly recommended!

I've been to Suzhou countless times since I was a child, going on spring outings there, and also because I love Suzhou pingtan (storytelling and ballad singing). So, when planning a short, leisurely trip, Suzhou is usually my go-to. This time, I specifically chose a hotel in the Jinji Lake Scenic Area to experience modern, new Suzhou. After staying two nights at the Crowne Plaza Suzhou, I highly recommend this hotel! The location is superb. You step right out into a shopping district and a metro station. You can conveniently reach Shantang Street, North Temple Pagoda (yesterday, I walked from North Temple Pagoda through Pishi Street to Guanqian Street, then east to Daru Lane and Pingjiang Road – it was amazing for someone who loves Suzhou like me) by taking Metro Line 1 and transferring to Line 2 or 4. The shopping district around the hotel is also great, making shopping and dining very convenient. This morning, I took a comfortable one-hour walk along the Jinji Lake shore from the hotel. Now, about the hotel itself. If you're driving, parking is very convenient (the underground garage has a direct elevator). The front desk staff were very warm and attentive, and both check-in and check-out were incredibly fast (actually, before my trip, a staff member proactively called and added me on WeChat, sending hotel information and answering many of my questions). The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The breakfast had a rich variety, with both Chinese and Western options, and tasted great. The value for money is excellent. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely choose Crowne Plaza Suzhou again. Afterward, I asked and found out the front desk staff member who proactively contacted me was named Dolphin 🐬 and the room attendant was Scallop (their names perfectly fit the hotel's theme). Thank you for your excellent service! I hope your leaders see this and give you bigger year-end bonuses. Hahaha.

I came to W Suzhou, and my butler, Melody, was incredibly attentive. The hotel environment is fantastic, and its location is excellent, very close to Suzhou Center Square. The cleanliness is also top-notch. When I asked if there was direct access to Suzhou Center, Melody immediately gave me the answer and even proactively provided details like the elevator's closing time and floor information – she really thought of everything! Afterwards, she also kindly asked if I needed bottled water in the room. When I made a request, she promptly arranged for a colleague to deliver it, which was super efficient. Even when I asked about check-out time, she not only told me the standard time but also thoughtfully helped me secure a late check-out.

This hotel is a well-established, upscale property. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. When they saw I had a child during check-in, they immediately offered a lovely kids' toiletry kit. Inside were orange-scented toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, shampoo, and more – all smelled wonderful! The room's cleanliness was decent, but I'd suggest replacing the carpet as it didn't feel very clean. The hotel also has its own Chinese restaurant with fair prices and generous portions, and the food tastes really good! The shrimp, in particular, was delicious! The breakfast selection was a bit limited, but the fried rice was excellent, comparable to what you'd find in a good restaurant! In terms of transportation, it's fairly close to the subway, about an 800-meter walk. For its price point, this hotel is quite good! I'd definitely consider staying here again!

I deducted 0.5 points for cleanliness because there was something like a booger on the wall, though I didn't report it to the housekeeper. For facilities, I deducted 0.5 points for the lack of a kids' play area. However, I was very happy with the pool, and the service was super friendly. They even upgraded me to a room with a Ferris wheel view. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied; they had two breakfast restaurants open that day, but the one on the right seemed to have more options. I only realized this after I finished eating, and I felt like I missed out big time. At 1399 with double breakfast, it's definitely worth experiencing.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one comes straight from the heart. Our stay at Naked Water in Suzhou was unforgettable—not just because of the breathtaking scenery or the stunning villa with its private pools (yes, both hot and lukewarm!), but because of the people who made our time there genuinely magical. A special thanks to Devin, the restaurant manager, who went above and beyond to help organize a private in-villa dining experience for my proposal. With the help of Nancy and Adrian—two incredibly kind and thoughtful staff members—they set up a beautifully decorated table inside our villa, complete with fresh flowers, flawless food presentation, and a warm, graceful presence throughout the evening. They even prepared parting gifts for us and were on hand for anything we needed, always with a smile. Their support turned my carefully planned moment into something even more meaningful. I’ll never forget it—and neither will my now fiancée. The villa itself was gorgeous—secluded, serene, and perfectly designed for relaxation. Waking up to the quiet of nature, soaking in the private pools, and spotting the resort’s friendly pets wandering about (yes, it’s pet-friendly!) made the entire experience feel intimate and grounding. This place isn’t just a getaway—it’s where memories are made. We’re already planning to come back for our anniversary. Eternally grateful.

I booked a two-night stay here. For the first night, I had a Lake View room, and for the second, I switched to a Deluxe Golf King Room. Both rooms were on the 18th floor, and the views from both sides of the building on that floor were absolutely stunning. The Lake View room directly faced Dushu Lake, while the Golf King Room offered views of the golf course, the distant Jinji Lake, the Gate of the Orient, the Ferris Wheel, and even the Niccolo Hotel. Whether by day or night, the scenery from either room was equally magnificent. The rooms themselves were very spacious, at 48 square meters, and featured impressive floor-to-ceiling windows. As a swimming enthusiast, I was particularly delighted by the hotel's 50-meter, national-standard swimming pool. I purchased this stay on ** and found it to be quite a good deal. I bought two packages, and plan to use the other one at the end of the year.

We chose to stay at the Marriott when we took our child to Tiger Hill to see the autumn leaves. Overall, it was a good experience, but it's quite a distance from the subway, so we mostly relied on taxis when traveling with our child. Finding food nearby was also a bit inconvenient, so we ended up dining at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, which actually had pretty good food. They have robots that deliver takeout to your room, and there's also a swimming pool.

This stay at Hotel Nikko Suzhou High-tech Zone was great. The night view of Shishan Hill across the way is lovely. Downstairs, you'll find Yuxingji, a renowned spot for authentic Suzhou-style noodles, next to Jin Ying, and a bit further is Shishan Tianjie. I snagged a fantastic deal during a big promotion, and my kid said we definitely have to come back again 😜. I saw a lot of bad reviews before, so I was a bit hesitant when I went, but I figured since it was cheap, I'd check it out. I even packed my own toiletries, but didn't end up needing them at all. I personally witnessed a cleaning lady working incredibly hard, literally sweating, and cleaning very thoroughly. She patiently helped me solve problems and even wiped her shoe soles clean before entering our room each time. Seeing that, I was truly reassured about their hygiene. I am definitely a frequent traveler/stayer/eater, and I have experienced many high-end hotels/boutique B&Bs/boutique restaurants. But this time I want to say: This boutique B&B (inn) is worth my recommendation. 1. The owner of the inn is a famous Suzhou garden designer, so the taste and foundation of the inn are very good. 2. The male and female managers have a good hobby and cultivation of tea art/meditation and meditation, which adds a lot of added value and fun to the inn. 3. In addition to the good breakfast included in the inn, the inn owner will also invite customers to join their private lunch and dinner, which is very authentic Hunan cuisine, which is simply a unique and exquisite dish in Tongli. 4. Warm and warm service and feeling. . . . Of course, other routine services are also very good, so I won’t say more. In short, recommended!

The hotel is in a good location and is very convenient to the subway entrance. The lady at the front desk was enthusiastic and responsible in answering all questions. We drove to the underground parking lot and there was a parking coupon upon check-out. The hotel is right behind Ligong Embankment. The surrounding area is very quiet during the day, so I turned to Jinji Lake. The environment is beautiful!
