We had an excellent stay at the Pan Pacific Suzhou! My family spent two nights here, and the service was truly top-notch. From seamless transport arrangements to thoughtful amenities—including special items for our kids like toothpaste and slippers—they paid attention to every detail. The complimentary garden access was a particular highlight, offering a gorgeous and peaceful setting for photos. The entire team was wonderful. Everyone, from the welcoming doorman to the efficient housekeeping staff, was consistently friendly and helpful. We are especially grateful to Concierge team member, 小谈 (Xiǎo Tán), for his outstanding assistance. He was always ready to help and made our stay even smoother. For a truly lovely Hanfu photoshoot experience, international guests can consider 艺瑟汉服摄影 (Yìsè Hànfú Shèyǐng), just a short ride from the hotel. The talented husband-and-wife duo who run it are fantastic with children, which helped them capture our most natural and joyful moments. We were recommended this studio by a local, and it was the best choice we made! Lastly, don't miss the hidden gem we chanced upon: Fortune Burger, located opposite the hotel. Their burgers, made with a homemade recipe, absolutely will not disappoint.

Overall, the Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou (Tayuan Road) is a highly reliable choice for both quality and service. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, it's the perfect place to stay in Suzhou! The rooms are spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, with very comfortable beds. The bathroom's wet and dry separation design is very convenient. Housekeeping service is prompt daily, and anything you need is delivered quickly. The breakfast spread is rich, blending both Chinese and Western options, and the taste is excellent, catering to various preferences. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and easy access to dining and shopping. It's very close to scenic spots by taxi or subway. The mall, park, and pedestrian street right outside the hotel make for a more enjoyable and relaxing stay. Five-star rating, thumbs up! That's why the Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou (Tayuan Road) is always my first thought when I come to Suzhou, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends and colleagues.

Guanqian Street/Pingjiang Street Suzhou|4km from city center
The hotel is just 300 meters from Leqiao Station, offering a peaceful yet central location that makes getting around incredibly convenient. A major highlight for me was the spacious underground parking. After a two-night stay, I used parking vouchers to cover ¥120 of the parking fee when checking out. Driving and parking in the city center are notoriously difficult, so having complimentary parking was an absolute godsend. The rooms are a bit dated; some power outlets were loose, and the carpet showed signs of wear. However, the price was quite reasonable compared to other five-star hotels, especially considering even small guesthouses in this area can cost upwards of ¥500. I checked in late and my original room type was sold out, but fortunately, the front desk upgraded my room. This thoughtful gesture truly enhanced my Suzhou trip and left me with warm memories.

1. The hotel's location is excellent, right at the Xinghai Street Metro Station exit – you step out and it's there. It's also just a 10-minute walk to the Gate of the Orient, which is incredibly convenient for tourists. I even caught the musical fountain show at night! 🎶 2. The breakfast spread is extensive, especially the coffee, which is fantastic – one of the best I've had at a hotel. The potstickers and noodle bar were quite popular. 3. The facilities are new, the room is well-maintained, and the bedding is comfortable. There's also a self-service laundry room. Overall, it was a very good stay.

Located in the heart of the industrial park, Hilton offers an unparalleled experience of tranquility yet convenience for anyone who wants to visit Suzhou. The amenities and service are amazing as its reputation and I had a great time relaxing while staying here for vacation. The staff was kind to upgrade our rooms such that it’s adjacent to each other and readily agreed to extend my checkout time to accommodate my train timings. While it might be a distance away from the popular tourist attraction, cabs are easy to find and cheap to travel in to destinations like the Lion’s Grove or the Tongli ancient town. The only downside to my stay was that I was not able to see the Jinji lake from my room. The breakfast was quite a spread with many different cuisine at great quality and would highly recommend you to book a room with breakfast as there are not many food options nearby. Family Matt opposite the hotel will serve all your urgent needs. Overall, I had a great stay and will highly recommend this place to business/ families who are good with taking cabs to tourist destinations.

Our stay at InterContinental was the most delightful surprise of our trip to Suzhou! 📍 **Perfect Location:** The hotel boasts a prime spot right on Jinji Lake, with floor-to-ceiling windows in our room offering picturesque lake views by day and dazzling city lights at night. It's also a mere 5-minute walk to a shopping mall, making sightseeing and shopping seamlessly connected. 🏨 **Room Experience:** We stayed in a 16th-floor lake-view twin room, where the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows framed the lake and city as a flowing, living painting. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the mini-bar offered complimentary drinks. The room's amenities and attention to detail were top-notch.

Upon seeing online that the Lamborghini Scriptorium Hotel offered lake-view rooms, I eagerly made a booking. We were visiting Suzhou Museum with our child during the last few days of summer vacation. Arriving at the hotel, we were immediately captivated by its exquisite garden features. The staff's warm and attentive service further put us completely at ease. In particular, Yuki and Grace stood out for their professional and enthusiastic service, always going the extra mile for guests. Our room boasted upscale facilities and offered a comfortable, home-like ambiance. The spacious lake-view balcony provided expansive views and was literally right by the water, allowing us to see the boardwalk stretching into the lake from our vantage point. It was also incredibly convenient to take a stroll downstairs to the iconic Gate of the Orient, which could even be photographed directly from the hotel. Both the hotel's own Chinese restaurant and Su Mian Fang (Suzhou Noodle House) offered excellent quality dining. If I have the chance to visit Suzhou again, I would definitely choose this hotel and its lake-view rooms. The only minor drawback was the relatively small size of the hotel's swimming pool. However, as the hotel is part of the same group as the Crown Plaza, the staff enthusiastically arranged for us to use the Crown Plaza's pool. Their outdoor pool, open during summer, offered truly magnificent views of the lake and the Gate of the Orient!

The Crowne Plaza Suzhou is ideally located on the west bank of Jinji Lake, south of Modern Avenue, just across the street from landmarks like the Gate of the Orient and Suzhou Center Plaza, and right next to the Musical Fountain Square. Its unique cruise ship design is a real eye-catcher. From the east bank of Jinji Lake, you can see the 'Big Underpants' (Gate of the Orient) and the 'cruise ship' (Crowne Plaza) in the same frame, especially dazzling at night with all the lights. The hotel's service truly reflects the high standards of the IHG group: The night before check-in, a hotel representative called to confirm our reservation. Upon learning that our party included two seniors and one child, they specially noted our requests for early check-in and a twin room at the front desk and tried their best to accommodate them. Upon arrival, the hotel upgraded us to an Executive Room, which was very spacious. The two single beds, in particular, were wide enough for one adult and one child to comfortably share a bed without feeling cramped. The service throughout our stay was incredibly warm and attentive. The bellhop proactively helped with our luggage, and after checking in, the front desk staff kindly escorted us to the elevators. Learning that we had a boy with us, they even arranged for housekeeping to deliver a pair of children's slippers. The breakfast buffet was a definite highlight. The dining environment at Saint Saloon Western Restaurant was very bright and comfortable, and we were even able to sit at the 'bow' of the ship, enjoying the beautiful views of Jinji Lake while we ate. Guests also enjoy complimentary parking. After registering our license plate number at the front desk, driving in and out of the hotel multiple times was very smooth. Whether for a family vacation or a business trip to Suzhou, the Crowne Plaza Suzhou is an excellent choice.

The W Hotel, true to its brand, was stylish and modern as ever. The service was truly exceptional. They generously accommodated an early check-in and a late check-out the next day. Breakfast offered a wide variety of exquisite dishes. Our host, Melody, provided outstanding service; she proactively called us beforehand to understand our needs, which was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. This large, star-rated hotel integrates dining, accommodation, and conference facilities. Although it was renovated in 2018, the entire property still feels very new, with both its interior and exterior meeting a standard of four or even five stars or above. The management maintains high standards; the exterior is grand, and the interior is luxurious. The surrounding transportation and living environment are very safe, clean, and convenient. This hotel is an optimal choice whether for dining or staying. We stayed here for four nights during the National Day holiday, and the housekeeping staff cleaned our room daily, replenishing mineral water, tea, and toiletries – truly thoughtful service. Although the hotel hosts wedding receptions and anniversary dinners almost every evening (which seems to be a local custom, unlike Qingdao where such events are usually held at noon with wedding cars, firecrackers, and emcees), it never disturbed our stay upstairs; it was very quiet. Since even locals love this hotel, you really can't go wrong. First and foremost, its high-class ambiance is undeniable. The breakfast is fantastic; the restaurant is upscale, and the variety of Chinese and Western dishes is excellent – delicious and featuring local specialties. We are very grateful for the complimentary breakfast vouchers, which made us out-of-town guests feel right at home. If we visit Suzhou again, this Xiangxuehai hotel will definitely be our top choice. I'd also like to commend the manager, ladies, and gentlemen at the front desk, as well as the welcoming gentlemen at the entrance. From our phone conversations before check-in to the reception after our arrival, your sincere service truly touched our hearts as customers. Thank you, dear hotel.

I always stay at the Grand Hyatt whenever I visit Suzhou, but this time, the experience was quite disappointing. I felt compelled to write a review. **Service:** Due to my late check-in the previous day (past 11 PM), I had confirmed with the hotel in advance and at the front desk that I could extend my check-out until 2 PM. However, at 12:30 PM, I received a call to my room, informing me that my complimentary extension was only for 30 minutes and that I needed to pack up and check out *immediately*. Even after I explained our prior arrangement, they rigidly insisted I must be at the front desk to check out by 2 PM. This kind of situation has never occurred before, and it was quite frustrating. **Check-in Experience:** On the day of check-in, even though it was already past 11 PM, the front desk attendant was quite friendly. However, for some reason, she could only locate my booking for a single night, which led to a long and tiring back-and-forth. I had booked a Jinji Lake View room, but the room assigned (number 10) was almost at the very end of the lake-facing side, offering a minimal view of the lake. It was nearly midnight, and I was too exhausted to request a room change. Adding to this, I noticed the attendant at the next counter proactively offering a room upgrade to another guest, while I was still stuck trying to sort out my booking – a stark contrast. **A Special Compliment:** I must give a special shout-out to the cleaning lady on our floor. She always greeted us warmly whenever we passed by, and after noticing us taking bottled water when we left the room, she proactively placed two extra bottles in our room. That was a very thoughtful and excellent gesture.

The hotel called a day in advance to confirm my booking and kindly switched me to a twin room. For a pet-friendly hotel, I was genuinely impressed; every restaurant even has a designated dining area for guests with pets. However, the breakfast area was truly baffling. It's located outside the main restaurant, right next to an escalator, meaning every single diner has to walk past it. The tables are incredibly tiny. It made me wonder if we hadn't paid for breakfast or something! It felt like the restaurant was begrudgingly serving us, which made for a very uncomfortable experience. Jinji Lake is right outside the hotel, and paddleboarding there was incredibly relaxing. Despite the breakfast issue, I would still recommend it.

A great hotel like this definitely deserves a shout-out! Before my trip, I'd read some reviews that left me with a slightly negative impression. However, upon actual check-in, I was extremely satisfied. This is, after all, an established luxury five-star hotel, and it truly excels in every aspect! Let's start with the facilities. While the hotel certainly has some age, its original decor and design are incredibly robust and have stood the test of time beautifully. It's impeccably maintained, offering understated luxury without being ostentatious. The rooms are incredibly spacious, especially the bathrooms. Breakfast was also excellent, predominantly Chinese style, and perfectly showcased the unique flavors of Suzhou's local morning cuisine. Definitely a must-try! The hotel boasts a superb location, diagonally opposite the Suzhou Municipal Government, making it incredibly convenient to hail a taxi. With numerous attractions nearby, it's an excellent choice for a weekend getaway! While the food selection at the Executive Lounge wasn't extensive, there was certainly enough to feel satisfied. A quick note: the Executive Lounge does not serve lunch during midday, so please be aware. Overall, it was an excellent stay with unbeatable value for money!

New Urban District/ Hanshan Temple Suzhou|3.44km from city center
First and foremost, the location is superb. The hotel is right next to the Shizishan Metro Station, the High-tech Zone City Terminal, Shizishan Mountain, Suzhou Museum (West Branch), and Longhu Paradise Walk, among other transportation hubs, scenic spots, and shopping malls. Its geographical conditions are truly excellent. Secondly, as a five-star standard hotel, besides having a shopping center right next door, there's also a convenience store if you turn left out of the main entrance. This means guests can not only find dining options in the shopping center but also fulfill needs for small items or snacks at the convenience store, significantly enhancing the overall stay experience. Of course, if I were to suggest improvements, one point would be the somewhat impractical placement of power outlets in the room (for example, only one of the two beds has an outlet nearby). Another thing I don't quite understand is why the ceramic mug handles are solid; personally, I find them harder to grip steadily compared to hollow ones. Lastly, since the hotel is named 'Nikko Hotel' (although it seems it's no longer affiliated with Nikko), Japanese elements are evident in many aspects (such as the trilingual signage in Chinese, English, and Japanese). The hotel has also received numerous accolades since its opening. I hope it continues to maintain both its unique characteristics and quality in the future.

Stayed here with my parents during our trip to Suzhou. The hotel has a great location, right across from Suzhou Station. The room facilities were complete and very comfortable. Most importantly, the front desk staff was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and meticulous with their service. It was a wonderful stay at the hotel, and Suzhou was a lot of fun. We'll definitely be back!

Inside Tongli Ancient Town Suzhou|20.31km from city center
I am definitely a frequent traveler/stayer/eater, and I have experienced many high-end hotels/boutique B&Bs/boutique restaurants. But this time I want to say: This boutique B&B (inn) is worth my recommendation. 1. The owner of the inn is a famous Suzhou garden designer, so the taste and foundation of the inn are very good. 2. The male and female managers have a good hobby and cultivation of tea art/meditation and meditation, which adds a lot of added value and fun to the inn. 3. In addition to the good breakfast included in the inn, the inn owner will also invite customers to join their private lunch and dinner, which is very authentic Hunan cuisine, which is simply a unique and exquisite dish in Tongli. 4. Warm and warm service and feeling. . . . Of course, other routine services are also very good, so I won’t say more. In short, recommended!

The hotel is in a good location and is very convenient to the subway entrance. The lady at the front desk was enthusiastic and responsible in answering all questions. We drove to the underground parking lot and there was a parking coupon upon check-out. The hotel is right behind Ligong Embankment. The surrounding area is very quiet during the day, so I turned to Jinji Lake. The environment is beautiful!
