Harbin Central Avenue/Saint Sophia Cathedral/The Memorial Tower of Fig Harbin|2.8km from city center
The location is excellent, just off Central Street. Parking spots are limited but there's an attendant who registers vehicles, so you don't have to fight for a spot. The breakfast is quite rich, and while the afternoon tea snacks are just okay, the coffee has a very generous milk ratio. The room design is quite good, and the facilities are well-maintained. However, there's no overhead light above the desk, and the desk lamp only has one brightness setting, which is so bright that even the side glare makes the laptop screen look washed out. Upon check-in, the front desk changed my room type (the one I originally booked had an overhead light above the desk) without informing me, and the room didn't include a razor, which was explicitly listed among the toiletries. These two points fell short of my expectations for a hotel of this caliber.

Excellent location, right next to Central Street, and only a ten-minute walk to the Songhua River. The Red Zhuan Street morning market is also just two turns away. The hygiene and service were both great. The hotel contacted me in advance to confirm my check-in time and even upgraded me to a room with a terrace. There was a fruit plate, and the mini-fridge drinks were complimentary and replenished promptly. The room was clean, and the staff were all polite and enthusiastic. Since it's an older building, the hotel advises running the hot water beforehand and being mindful of the temperature. In reality, it didn't take long at all, probably about three to five minutes, and the water was hot. Breakfast was also very good. The breakfast area isn't large, but the variety and quality of the breakfast items were excellent. I had a very comfortable stay.

The location is excellent, making it convenient to get around everywhere. The room offers an unobstructed river view. It's very convenient for first-time visitors to stay here. Although the hotel is old, it has been renovated, and the walls, floors, and bathroom are quite new, with great water pressure in the shower. The hardware is exceptionally well-maintained. The hygiene is excellent, and the housekeeping service is very detailed. The front desk staff are attractive, and Rena was particularly great! I'll definitely stay here again when I revisit Harbin.

The New Paris Hotel has an excellent location; right outside, there's a subway station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The hotel service is great, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The amenities are very complete and well-maintained—the AC, TV, and high-speed WiFi all work perfectly, the shower pressure is stable, and they have everything from a parking lot to leisure areas. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, it meets all your needs. I'll definitely choose this place first for my next trip and sincerely recommend it to everyone!

I originally decided to switch hotels because I was so incredibly disappointed with my stay at the Harbin Fuli Ritz-Carlton. I never expected to stumble upon such a hidden gem: the Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin Songbei. Honestly, this stay made me truly understand that a hotel's real value isn't about how luxurious the lobby is, but about the warmth of its service. At the Harbin Fuli Ritz-Carlton, I experienced a series of issues: my executive lounge access was incorrectly verified, I was publicly told I didn't have executive privileges, some managers were indifferent, the lounge and restaurant service was consistently neglected, and concierges were smoking and playing on their phones, ignoring guests. For an international top-tier luxury hotel, this level of service was truly shocking and completely changed my perception of the Ritz-Carlton brand. After arriving at the Shangri-La Songbei, it was like stepping into a completely different world. From the moment I got out of the car, the bellhop proactively helped open the door and handle my luggage. Check-in at the front desk was warm and efficient. Wherever I went, staff would always greet me with a smile. Most importantly, the staff here made me feel a long-lost sense of respect and genuine sincerity. Often, guests pay for luxury hotels not to admire grand crystal chandeliers, but to receive a service experience that matches the price. Unfortunately, the Harbin Fuli Ritz-Carlton failed in this regard, but the Shangri-La Songbei succeeded, and did so exceptionally well. Although the price is only about one-third of the former, the warmth of the service and attention to detail far exceeded it. If I ever return to Harbin, I will undoubtedly choose the Shangri-La Songbei again and will not consider the Harbin Fuli Ritz-Carlton. Thanks to all the hotel staff for making me feel what true five-star service is all about again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended!

Came to Harbin and chose the Mercure Hotel near Central Street. I've stayed at several Huazhu Group brands before, and their quality and service are always guaranteed. This hotel has spacious rooms with a thoughtful design, including a separate walk-in closet, a large vanity in the bathroom, a smart toilet, and even a jewelry box – the attention to detail is impressive. The toiletries are an essential oil series, which is a nice touch. The hotel staff provide genuine service, actively asking about your needs and ensuring everything is taken care of. The location is super convenient for getting to Central Street, St. Sophia Church, the Provincial Museum, and the City Museum.

I came to Harbin with friends and chose this hotel. The price was reasonable and the front desk service was good; they patiently answered all my questions. The only downside is that the entrance is a bit hard to spot. This hotel is very popular, so reservations are necessary. There are shopping malls and various restaurants downstairs, making it a paradise for food lovers. It's not far from the Northeast Tiger Park and Sun Island Polar Aquarium, and ride-hailing services are very convenient. We stayed on the 22nd floor, and the staff were very welcoming, promptly cleaning our room. Their smiles were very helpful! A very pleasant stay; Harbin is great!

This Hilton boasts an excellent location, very close to the subway station. You can walk to the Provincial Museum in one direction, and a bustling commercial district in the other, making it incredibly convenient for getting around, shopping, and dining. It's a great choice for travelers, highly recommended. Although it's called the Central Street store, you still need to take the subway to get to Central Street, but it's more affordable than the Hilton located directly on Central Street. The location is truly superb.

The hotel was spotless and exceptionally clean. Choosing the Sofitel for my trip to Harbin was an absolute delight. Its location is excellent, right near Xiangjiang Park and Wanda Plaza. It's also close to the subway, making it super convenient and stress-free to get to Central Street and St. Sophia Cathedral. The lobby's French decor is grand and exquisite, with crystal chandeliers adding a wonderful ambiance. The guest rooms are clean and spacious, with ample heating. Paired with their signature bedding, the sleep comfort was top-notch. Amenities were fully stocked, and they thoughtfully provided a humidifier, which is perfect for Harbin's dry climate. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, including authentic Harbin red sausage and Russian dishes, alongside Western pastries and freshly ground coffee. The concierge and front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, proactively helping with luggage and planning my itinerary. With a heated pool and gym, my entire stay was comfortable and relaxing. It's definitely my top choice for future travels!

Stayed here with a friend. The hotel has a lot of character and the bathtub is spacious – you can really stretch out in it. The breakfast spread is fantastic with a wide variety of options, and the freshly made dumplings and Lanzhou beef noodles were absolutely delicious. The fruit quality was also excellent. The pool water was clean. The only minor downside was that the TV in our room couldn't cast, but it wasn't a big deal. The front desk staff, Luna, was very responsive and provided excellent service. 👍

The hotel's location is excellent, with the Xicheng Hongchang shopping mall just a few minutes' walk away, making dining very convenient. The hotel itself is decent, with satisfactory cleanliness and a quiet atmosphere. They even provide latex pillows. However, the breakfast is quite poor, and the restaurant and bar are closed in the evenings, which might indicate some business struggles.

The room was spacious and generally clean. It was very soundproof with good ventilation, and there were no strange odors. The breakfast selection was rich, comparable to Wanda Vista. The hot springs offered a good variety of pools, and the water quality was excellent with no unpleasant smells. On Children's Day, kids under 1.5 meters were free, which was a fantastic bonus! The view outside the window is beautiful. The location is a bit out of the way, far from the subway. Although it looks close to the Songhua River, there's no direct access, so getting to the riverside is quite a walk. For meals, you have to go about one or two kilometers to a residential area, which has tons of great restaurants. Taxis are super convenient; they pick you up instantly, and it's usually under ten yuan. The room was clean, but the soundproofing was just okay – I could hear kids jumping around next door and their mom scolding them. Breakfast was average, not much variety. Out of the three 5-star hotels I stayed at in Harbin, the Marriott had the least to offer for breakfast. The doormen and the cleaning staff were excellent. Giving a good review out of habit.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The room had great natural light and was spotlessly clean, creating a very comfortable living environment. When it was almost time to check out, my plans were delayed, so I tried to request a late check-out. Facilities: There's a restaurant on the first floor that offers breakfast. The selection isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and had a large window. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area. Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting. Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀 Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.
