Professional Services and Memorable Stay It’s not about whether a hotel is old or new — what truly matters is the comfort during the stay. I sincerely appreciate the management team, especially Ms. 小佳 and her team, for being extremely helpful and professional throughout my visit. The team truly understands what customers need. Their attentiveness made me feel very welcomed, and I will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends. Although the hotel is not new, it remains very comfortable compared to some newer hotels with limited staff and slower service. At Crowne Plaza Chengdu City Center (by IHG), the service team is always available whenever assistance is needed — something that really makes a difference. The management team also went above and beyond by sharing information on nearby attractions, recommending local food places, and assisting us with transportation booking to the airport, even at the last minute. I truly appreciate their helpfulness and dedication. Additional Highlights: The hotel provides free transportation to the Panda Research Base — the charter bus conveniently waits right outside the hotel early in the morning, saving us the hassle of walking far. The location is surrounded by local eateries, allowing me to experience authentic Chengdu culture and cuisine. The souvenir prepared by the management team was a thoughtful touch and created a lasting memory of Chengdu and its warm hospitality. Thank you once again to the management team and Ms. 小佳 for your excellent service and care. You made my stay in Chengdu truly enjoyable and memorable.

Pros: Wifi was really good here with super fast connection as compared to some other hotels I have been in China. Breakfast is decent. Pool looks nice. Location is good and easy to get a taxi. Overall pretty clean. Nice to have washing machine in the room. Robot for food deliveries. Cons: We did not seem to be able to adjust the aircon temperature to our desired level and had to resort to opening the curtains and windows fully at times. Sometimes, the food delivery driver is not able to use the robot so we had to collect it downstairs ourselves. Overall: Would recommend!

First time staying at the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu, and the experience was absolutely perfect! 😁😁😁 I booked two Ritz-Carlton Suites for my family and me during our trip to Chengdu, and the thoughtful service from Ms. Lianne made the start of our journey full of pleasant surprises 🥳🥳🥳. Before we even arrived, Ms. Lianne proactively reached out to understand our needs. She not only reserved rooms for us very close to the Executive Lounge but also went above and beyond to arrange rooms on the 38th and 39th floors, despite the limitation of ”only one Ritz-Carlton Suite per floor.” This thoughtful gesture allowed my family to easily look after each other while maintaining our privacy, which was incredibly touching. During check-in, she thoughtfully arranged for us to complete the process while dining at the lounge, saving us waiting time and allowing my family to start their vacation in a comfortable setting. From the meticulous arrangements to the warmth of the service, we truly felt the high quality of the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu. I especially want to commend Ms. Lianne for her professionalism and attentiveness. This will definitely be our top choice for our next visit to Chengdu! 🙃🙃🙃

An absolutely perfect experience that exceeded all expectations – truly the highlight of my trip to Chengdu! From the moment I stepped into The St. Regis Chengdu, an impeccable journey of luxury began. As a hotel enthusiast, I found the St. Regis's 'bespoke service' philosophy to be perfectly executed here. Excellent Location: The hotel is centrally located, just a few minutes' walk from the bustling Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. Yet, miraculously, the moment you return to the hotel, the city's hustle and bustle completely vanish, as if you've entered a serene and elegant oasis. Impeccable Butler Service: The St. Regis's signature butler service lives up to its reputation! From the thoughtful greetings upon reservation to the 24-hour attentive assistance after check-in, every detail was touching. We casually mentioned wanting to try some local specialties, and the butler quickly delivered authentic sugar oil fruit (Tang You Guo Zi) and ice jelly (Bing Fen) – a surprise that made us feel so warm. The nightly 'turndown service' not only tidied everything perfectly but also thoughtfully left a weather forecast card and a calming tea. So incredibly soothing. Luxurious and Comfortable Rooms: The rooms are spacious and bright, with a design that cleverly blends Chinese elegance with modern luxury. The bedding and bathroom quality were flawless, especially the deep-soaking tub – a bath after a long day of exploring instantly recharges you. The city night view from the window was simply enchanting. Stunning Culinary Experience: The Chinese restaurant, 'Yan Ting,' offered exquisite and delicious food, with incredibly authentic Sichuan cuisine. 'The Social' restaurant's afternoon tea was the perfect spot for girlfriends to take photos; both the ambiance and the pastries were impeccable. Don't forget to try the classic 'Bloody Mary' with a Chengdu twist – the 'Sichuan Mary' – its unique spicy and numbing flavor is an absolutely unique memory of Chengdu. In Summary: This was more than just a stay; it was a complete, surprising experience. Whether it was the location, the hardware facilities, or the impeccable butler service, The St. Regis Chengdu truly excelled. It has now become my only choice for future trips to Chengdu, and I highly recommend it to all friends who appreciate quality living!

The hotel's location is excellent, surrounded by popular attractions like Taikoo Li, Chunxi Road, Kuanzhai Alley, Jinli, Tianfu Square, and People's Park! Downstairs, there's a vibrant atmosphere with plenty of delicious Chengdu snacks. The front desk staff are welcoming, and the rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable! Breakfast offers a wide variety and good quality. The underground parking is convenient for those traveling by car. Overall, I'm very satisfied! A small suggestion: due to the high number of guests, breakfast can get quite crowded, sometimes making seating a bit tight, and the staff occasionally struggle to keep up with clearing tables.

Yulin Life Plaza and Tongzilin commercial area Chengdu|4.31km from city center
The room was very clean and well-equipped, with both regular and plush slippers provided. The only minor issue was the shower faucet, which took a little getting used to at first. The mattress, duvet, and pillows were all clean and comfortable. The breakfast was well-balanced and nutritious, with a variety of freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices available daily – I particularly loved the carrot and ginger juice. The location is convenient for transportation, and it's easy to hail a taxi. I only found out on the second night that there's also a direct shuttle service to major attractions in Chengdu; it would have been great if there was a card in the room providing this information.

Chunxi Road Commercial Area Chengdu|1.11km from city center
The room offered a great view, especially of the IFS panda, and the hotel itself is a classic brand with an elegant, if somewhat old-fashioned, design. However, my overall rating isn't very high... First, there's the abundance of mirrors in the room, which many might find off-putting. While it's a design feature, I felt it was a bit arrogant and disregarded guest preferences. Then there's the actual living experience. The three-way separation of the washroom and bathroom wasn't very convenient, especially the bathroom sink. The numerous cubbies made it difficult to access items, and the hairdryer was incredibly hard to use! The minibar area also felt poorly designed; the kettle had to be moved to the bathroom for use (and the water glasses had noticeable water stains). The user flow definitely needs to be more ergonomic. Additionally, the luggage rack was too narrow, forcing me to spread my large suitcase on the floor, taking up space. Overall, the room had many usability issues, making it quite uncomfortable. 😂 Lastly, the guest service... When I called the day before check-in to discuss my room preferences, the person immediately addressed me as 'sir.' I corrected them, thinking it was fine since my name can sound masculine. But during the post-checkout follow-up call, they again addressed me as 'sir.' I was speechless. After I corrected them again, they wouldn't acknowledge I was a woman, said they had misdialed, and hung up... I mean, come on, let's not be so quick to jump to conclusions, please. In short, the stay was mediocre. I won't be considering the Grand Hyatt for my next trip to Chengdu.

The location is good, but the hygiene is just okay, and the facilities are quite old. The funniest part was the service. I called for water, and it didn't arrive for an hour. I had to go to the front desk myself to get it. The front desk lady apologized very quickly, though. It felt like the front desk and housekeeping were completely separate departments with no communication. During check-in, they sweet-talked me into signing up for a membership by promising a fruit platter – specifically a fruit platter. A day passed, and it never arrived. After multiple reminders, the front desk lady maintained her apologetic attitude, promising to arrange it immediately, but nothing came of it. On the second evening of my stay, the housekeeping auntie brought me an orange, a pear, and an apple, saying that a pomegranate that was already on the table yesterday was the 'fruit platter'... Okay, I've had fruit platters before, and I even accidentally saw what kind of fruit platter they delivered to the room next door – at least it was cut fruit, right? I immediately told her that the front desk promised a fruit platter, not a few whole fruits, and returned them. The auntie gave an awkward smile and said, 'It's fine, just take it and eat it.' Do I look like I'm starving for fruit? At this point, I was getting angry. I felt like I'd been conned. A single pomegranate is a fruit platter? I called again, and the front desk lady, as usual, apologized and promised that since there was no fresh fruit today (what was the housekeeping auntie bringing me then?), they would arrange a fruit platter first thing tomorrow morning. I repeatedly confirmed with her if the 'fruit platter' was what I understood it to be and received an affirmative answer. Fine, I'd wait... The next day, I was already preparing to check out when it finally arrived. I gave up. It was just one banana more than the previous collection. I admit defeat. It's not that I absolutely needed to eat their fruit platter, but I really dislike feeling like I've been fooled, especially when they tell me a single pomegranate is a 'fruit platter'... (See attached photo) In the end, I didn't eat any of it. I just felt that the service was absolutely terrible.

I booked this hotel for my trip, and the location is fantastic – right in the city center with tons of dining options nearby. There's even a decent hotpot place right by the subway entrance. The staff here are incredibly thoughtful and responsible. As someone new to the area, they were always ready to answer any questions I had, making for a truly wonderful experience. The rooms are spotlessly clean. It was really heartwarming to be greeted so warmly by the cleaning staff in the hallway every time – it genuinely felt like a home away from home. The front desk team was also incredibly thoughtful. They even offer a laundry service, washing and drying clothes if you're too busy sightseeing, and folded everything neatly in a basket – a truly thoughtful touch. There's also complimentary self-service freshly ground coffee in the lobby, and a cup before heading out in the morning is just what you need to feel refreshed. All in all, I had a very comfortable stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chengdu.

The Hilton Longquani is a very good hotel which can be used for business travel and leisure in Chengdu. Although located a little bit outside the city center there are still many local restaurants around the hotel to enjoy the local delicacies. The breakfast buffet is excellent and offers a broad variety of Chinese and Western dishes. The hotel is highly recommended.
