My stay at Crowne Plaza Shenzhen was very comfortable overall. Check-in was smooth, no long waits, and everything was handled efficiently and hassle-free. The staff were consistently sweet and friendly, even giving out game tokens. They were polite and thoughtful, not overly enthusiastic, and promptly helped with any requests. The room was meticulously clean with thoughtful and cozy touches, showing great attention to detail, making for a very relaxing stay. The hotel's location is also excellent, convenient for getting around and dining. The facilities are well-maintained, and I had a great night's sleep. It was a very satisfying stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shenzhen.

Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Shenzhen|0.94km from city center
My experience at Sheraton Shenzhen Grand China. I was assigned to the West Wing (there are East and West Wings). My first impression was that the West Wing elevators were chaotic, with various businesses like outsourced restaurants, conference halls, and wedding banquets all crammed together, making it quite noisy and messy. The room lighting was dim. At night, it was hard to see anything, especially for those with poor eyesight. The lighting controls were confusing and poorly labeled, with switches scattered about. The carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years; it was dark and dirty, just unbearable. While the room had windows, they couldn't be opened even a crack for ventilation, leaving the air stale and artificially stuffy. The buffet breakfast was monotonous, lacking the appeal characteristic of a five-star hotel. Despite being near the sea, there wasn't a single seafood item on offer. On the bright side: The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city's commercial district, making dining, accommodation, and transportation extremely convenient. The metro station is right downstairs, providing easy access to all major city landmarks. Taxis are always waiting outside the hotel, ready to go. You can find your desired restaurant within minutes, with a vast selection of cuisines from all over. Dining and shopping go hand-in-hand, with restaurants and clothing stores right next to each other. The floor attendants were all very enthusiastic, quick to respond to small requests and handle them efficiently. The room's soundproofing was adequate; external noise was barely audible, making it relatively quiet. My conclusion: The room price was high, and I didn't feel I got good value for money or high-quality service. While the staff I encountered were enthusiastic, their professional skills were lacking. They were often unable to answer basic questions, like those about the hotel's surroundings or transportation, often responding with a shrug or suggesting I 'ask someone else.' It was truly frustrating. Those paying with someone else's money might not care, but for those of us paying out of pocket, it's quite painful!

Overall, I'm quite satisfied. We stayed at a hotel near the border crossing in advance of our trip to Hong Kong, which was very convenient for crossing early in the morning and getting ahead of the queues. The check-in experience could be improved slightly. There weren't many staff members at the reception when we checked in during the afternoon, so we had to wait quite a while, but their service and responsiveness to complaints were excellent. While the room wasn't brand new (understandable given its age), it was clean, and the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job.

My stay here far exceeded expectations, and the housekeeping service was truly impeccable! Every day, I'd return to a completely refreshed room—spotless floors and all surfaces meticulously wiped clean. What touched me most was the thoughtful service: not only were all amenities replenished, but even my casually placed clothes and laptop cables were neatly tidied up. They managed to maintain tidiness without disturbing my personal items at all. This level of meticulous observation and proactive service genuinely made me feel respected and cared for. A huge thank you to the staff for making my short stay feel as comfortable and reassuring as being at home. Absolutely highly recommended!

Hotel environment: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5 Hotel facilities: 5/5 Breakfast: Didn't get to try it as I overslept. Night shift assistant manager's service attitude: 0/5 Last night, something unexpected happened. We checked in at 4 AM, and around 5 AM, the turndown service staff, after ringing the doorbell with no response, swiped their card and opened the door. This startled my girlfriend, who was sound asleep, as she thought I had returned. After we checked in, she fell fast asleep. I quietly went downstairs to the bar for a drink. Then, I suddenly received a message saying someone had opened the door and entered, thinking it was me returning. I immediately rushed back upstairs to check. I believe the room service attendant was just following procedure, so I don't fault them. However, the professionalism and attitude of the night shift assistant manager were truly disappointing. I frequently stay in hotels, so I know to put out the 'Do Not Disturb' sign. But I never imagined that after checking in at 4 AM, someone would swipe into the room for turndown service barely an hour later. I've stayed in five-star hotels for decades and have never encountered such unprofessionalism – assuming a recently checked-in guest isn't in the room. Anyway, she really liked the two complimentary cups they sent afterward, so I won't give you a one-star review. I'll give you five stars, hoping you can be as good as Four Seasons worldwide. Please ask guests if they need turndown service before they check in. I hope to see an improvement next time I visit.

The hotel's location is quite convenient, and Anita, my usual contact person, is very thoughtful. The room is clean, tidy, and spacious, with soft and comfortable bedding. It has a TV and WiFi, and the bathroom is a wet/dry separation, so the facilities are very complete. You can sit and relax while checking in at the front desk, and the process is quick. The housekeeping service is meticulous and thorough, and the hallway is quiet with no noise. The location is convenient, and it offers great value for money. All the staff are very warm and proactive in greeting guests. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the experience and will definitely choose to stay here again next time.

This time, I chose the Shangri-La Shenzhen with my wife, children, and my mother who came from Australia to stay with us, and the overall experience was very satisfying. Many years ago, I frequently stayed at Shangri-La hotels in different countries for work, so I'm very familiar with the brand. I'd always hoped to share this wonderful experience with my family one day, and now that dream has finally come true. The hotel staff—from the greeters at the entrance, the front desk, lobby security, cleaning team, to the restaurant servers—were all incredibly dedicated, polite, and attentive, making us feel completely at home. The room was clean and comfortable, and the kids had a blast in the pool. It would be even more perfect if they could add a heated pool, as the outdoor weather is still a bit chilly. The only minor suggestion is that the quality of the restaurant's buffet could be improved. It would be even better if it could reach the five-star standard of Shangri-La buffets in other countries. Overall, we are very grateful to all the staff at Shangri-La Shenzhen for making this family trip so warm and memorable with their professionalism and passion.

Had a great stay! The hotel's location is pretty good, close to the subway station, about a 10-minute walk. It's connected to 3 subway lines, making getting around very convenient, especially Line 11, which goes directly to the airport in less than an hour. There's also a shopping mall right next door, so shopping is a breeze. I stayed in an executive room, and the layout and flow were very well-designed. Some of the facilities showed thoughtful attention to detail, and the British-style decor was very comfortable. The square bathtub was quite unique – it was great to watch TV while taking a bath. The double sinks were a nice touch, and the shower had excellent water pressure with a good hot water supply. Room service was prompt, even though some amenities were out of stock. Their explanations and handling of the situation were spot-on, so I was still very impressed! The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the dining experience was good. Cheong fun (rice noodle rolls) and ramen were made to order, and there were cards on the tables to prevent long queues and crowding. The lounge's afternoon tea had a rich selection and was delicious. The evening light meal was decent one day but not so good on another. The male staff in the lounge were very friendly and attentive, while the female staff were a bit more formal. The gym and swimming pool were both quite clean. Overall, it was a very positive experience. Recommended!

This was a perfect hotel for us to land after a long international flight with young kids; huge hotel and compound which likely had its prime when it was first built 20 years ago; it needs a lot of maintenance and upkeep but the standout of it was its nature park access which is a must with young kids; so beautiful and lots of fun. It would be so nice if it became more popular again so they can restore the place to its former glory. Workers were really warm and friendly; breakfast was a nice touch.

The MIXC Shenzhen and KK100 Shenzhen|5.51km from city center
I brought my baby 👶🏻 to Shenzhen during the May Day holiday and meticulously chose 3 hotels, considering various aspects including family-friendliness, hotel quality, and breakfast quality. Since I was with a 1-year-old, we mostly stayed in the hotel, so I really prioritized hotel service and breakfast quality, and specifically booked executive privileges for all of them. The MGM and The Langham Shenzhen were both very satisfying, but when I got to the most expensive one, the Grand Hyatt Shenzhen, I was so frustrated that I had to complain before even checking out! First, let's talk about the service: I can understand if the hardware facilities aren't up to par, as it's an older hotel, but when the service falls short, that's truly embarrassing! We arrived at 2 PM and had to queue to check in. Then we were told the room was being cleaned and would take an hour and a half, so I waited! My booked guest privileges were completely ignored; they said I didn't have breakfast included, and only added it after I reminded them! Later, I found out the package I bought also included other vouchers and ice skating tickets, which they didn't mention at all – I probably wouldn't have gotten them even at checkout! We went to the 25th-floor lounge for a bit. No one seated us, no one offered service, I was totally bewildered. The afternoon tea only had two types of small cakes, and no one came to ask if we wanted coffee or tea. Compared to the service at The Langham the previous two days, the difference was stark! After an hour and a bit of wandering outside, we finally got a notification at 4 PM that the room was ready. But when we saw it, the bed was too small. I wanted to switch to a twin room, and they kept giving excuses about no availability. Only after I insisted did they say there was one, but it would take two hours to prepare… So we waited from 4 PM to 6 PM. Finally, after changing rooms, we went to the executive lounge for dinner, only to be told there was a 40-50 minute wait and to return to our room to be notified. We finally got in after 7 PM, and it was packed. I felt no service at all, had to ask for everything… But the most infuriating part was breakfast this morning! I had high expectations, especially since I heard Grand Hyatt's breakfast was top-tier. The food itself was mediocre, but the service was genuinely terrible! We arrived at the breakfast floor, 32M, and there was no one. I had to carry the stroller down a flight of stairs myself to the dining area, only to be told there was a conversion elevator nearby. So where were the staff, I ask?! I can understand if it's busy and food isn't replenished quickly, but after most people had left, I asked a waiter for baby cutlery, and they said, 'I don't have any here, go ask up front?'! Do you guys divide up responsibilities like that?! I then ran to the front desk and asked a staff member, who then just shouted to someone behind the bar, 'Get her some baby cutlery!'?! The bar staff searched and only found a plate, but no cutlery! The passing staff all acted like it wasn't their problem. There were also a few steps where we needed help to lift the stroller, and not one passing staff member acknowledged us or greeted us. In contrast to The Langham and MGM the previous two days, staff there actively provided service and greetings when they saw the baby, proactively offered high chairs and baby cutlery, and even had two sets ready in case he threw one! Not to mention carrying the stroller downstairs myself – I experienced absolutely no five-star service. I won't even mention the other hardware facilities; it's a hotel that's been around for over a decade, so that's understandable.

I've gotten so used to the environment, service, and the perfectly balanced politeness and warmth here, that it's hard for me to risk choosing another hotel. My boss wouldn't be happy! My favorite is the complimentary white fungus soup upon arrival! Regarding dining, I hope the breakfast menu could have some variety daily. Also, it would be great if they could add some of the cakes from the dinner buffet. No matter how good the breakfast is, having the same thing for three to five days straight gets tiring. For the spa, the aesthetician's technique was excellent and very gentle. However, for nearly 3000, if no equipment is used, wouldn't the absorption be slightly less effective? Finally, the price has gone up from around 2800 to 3500. I'm a bit worried if it will break through 4000 one day, because then it would truly be unaffordable for me.

Before my first stay, I was a bit hesitant after reading some reviews, but the actual experience was so wonderful that I decided to return to Shenzhen and stay here again. From the doorman to the check-in process, the professionalism and efficiency were top-notch, leaving a great first impression. My only minor gripes were the rather high deposit taken each night and having to follow up twice to get it refunded. The room design and facilities are excellent. I'm not sure why, but the new bath and body brand's lotion was very difficult to spread and frankly, not very good. Perhaps it was a more basic room type, as there wasn't a smart toilet. Housekeeping was impeccable, and the butler service was outstanding – incredibly professional and efficient in responding to and resolving issues. I absolutely loved the breakfast. There's no discounted front desk rate, it's 268 per person, but the quality is excellent. My only minor suggestion would be to find a way to improve the chairs in the restaurant; they are very heavy to move and create a loud scraping noise. I particularly enjoyed the freshly prepared seafood congee and their homemade soy sauce baguette. I'll definitely stay at The St. Regis again. While getting in and out of MixC isn't as convenient as the Grand Hyatt, the overall experience here was simply superior.

Stayed here for a business trip to Shenzhen. The overall environment and location are great, very convenient for getting around, and it's close to Sea World. I really like Shenzhen; I had so many business trips here last year that I'm getting more and more familiar with the city. Definitely recommend for business travelers!

The room was spacious with a great view. It's quite convenient, only a 10-minute taxi ride to Dameisha. The staff were all very welcoming and someone helped with our luggage. There's a shopping mall right next to the hotel, making dining incredibly convenient. The self-service breakfast restaurant also boasts a fantastic view. It would have been even better if the room provided plastic slippers, as the fabric disposable ones were uncomfortable to wear. Also, the quality of the noodle soup broth could use improvement. I stayed for three nights, and the broth for the first two mornings was supposedly seafood soup, but I didn't see a single shrimp, and the rice noodles were basically flavorless. The first photo was taken from the hotel room. The second photo was taken at the hotel restaurant. The third photo is of Dameisha Outpost.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite Window of the World. The facilities are comprehensive, the environment is clean, and the rooms are spacious. The staff were very warm and attentive, fulfilling all our requests, even arranging a room with a direct view of Window of the World for us. We were able to watch the drone show and fireworks display from our room at night. The executive lounge benefits were also great; the food and drinks there were a big hit with the kids. Upon departure, they even gave the children gifts, which thrilled them to no end. My kids are already asking to stay at this hotel again on our next trip to Shenzhen.

Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport Shenzhen|26.69km from city center
The location is superb, close to the airport. It's a 10-minute walk via a connecting corridor, and they even offered VIP security check. The views are lovely; from the window, you can see planes taking off, ships on the sea, and a large bridge, which I think is the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge. Soundproofing is good; you barely hear any noise, though it's slightly less effective than the Hyatt at Hangzhou airport. The hygiene and service are excellent, and the shower works great. Check-out was super convenient – just drop the key into a small box. The breakfast variety is average, and the taste is just okay; there's room for improvement. For the Executive Lounge (Guest House Executive Privilege): The service was excellent; they even brewed me a pot of black tea. The food selection was simple, but the fried rice was delicious.

This was my first stay at this hotel, and I booked it specifically for the sea view. If you get a true sea view room, it's quite nice, but it also depends on the weather. On a sunny day, the sea looks even bluer and more transparent. Overall, the environment is pretty good and very quiet. The restaurant also serves delicious food. The main drawback is that the room decor is a bit dated. The Wanghai Wing is newer than the Nanhai Wing. I recommend prioritizing a sea view room in the Wanghai Wing.

Before I even checked in, the concierge, Jason, proactively reached out to me via WeChat – that was incredibly thoughtful. On the day of arrival, he even came to greet us, and when we checked out, he gifted us a small plush toy! 😁 Throughout our stay, the concierge was always prompt in helping us resolve any issues. His service was truly excellent! The bell staff really works hard, managing all the food delivery and courier package pickups and deliveries for the entire hotel, as well as luggage storage. The bellboys were super friendly and incredibly efficient! I saw one of them handling two calls simultaneously, one in each ear, while also assisting other guests right in front of him. Despite all that, he remained calm, unhurried, and highly effective in managing everything. I had some frozen perishable goods, and the bellboy kindly helped me store them. That was truly fantastic! After checking out, I realized I'd left something behind. I immediately contacted the concierge, and they promptly helped me retrieve my item! Honestly, at that moment, the concierge was my lifesaver! Absolutely five stars! P.S. Every staff member greeted us proactively when we saw them. It's clear that this established hotel brand truly delivers top-notch service!

This Marriott hotel, located in the outskirts of Shenzhen, is a very comprehensive family-friendly hotel. At check-in, the front desk had incredibly cute little rabbits named Peter and some birds, which the kids absolutely loved. We checked in during a holiday, so our room wasn't ready yet. We decided to head to the kids' play area and the petting zoo first. The indoor kids' play area is quite spacious, and the equipment is well-maintained, but it's not somewhere you'd spend a really long time. The petting zoo isn't very large, about the same size as those found in shopping malls, but it has a good variety of animals. It was quite busy with many children during the holiday, making it a bit chaotic. We finally got into our room around 4 PM. We stayed in a Deluxe Garden View Twin Room. The room was quite spacious and directly overlooked the swimming pool area, which isn't open yet. However, being on a lower floor, the view was a bit limited. The room's interior was also well-maintained, and the facilities felt quite new. Since it was a holiday during our stay, they also gifted us a festive fabric bag with some candies and toys, which the kids really enjoyed. The hotel's public spaces are quite large, and it's not too far to walk to the beach. The sand quality is decent, but there are no free sand-digging tools; you have to buy your own. We didn't try the hotel's restaurants because it's convenient to take a taxi out to eat, and food delivery is also an option. Another advantage of this hotel is that there's a park just north of it. The park has several large climbing structures, perfect for kids aged 6-12 to climb, play, and burn off energy. Overall, it's a very comprehensive family-friendly hotel with many free activities suitable for families. The hardware facilities in all aspects are also in good condition. I personally had a very satisfying experience.

The hotel was really quiet and the room was super clean. We also took the kids to the Eco-Sports Commune, which was a very comfortable place to play with some amusement rides. Afterwards, we went to the Ice and Snow World, which the kids really enjoyed. There's also an aquarium right at the entrance with lots of things to do. Plus, there's a new shopping center with plenty of food options just across the street, making it very convenient. The shuttle bus service nearby is also great for getting around. Highly recommend!

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The first thing that won me over was the view from my room I’ve never had a room with such a breathtaking view before. Truly stunning. I really liked the staff everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Phoebe and the rest of the team were just wonderful. They were always ready to help and easy to reach whenever I needed anything. The beach is beautiful, though security only allows swimming in a specific area, which isn’t very convenient. Still, it didn’t spoil my stay.Overall, a lovely place and a great hotel. I really hope to come back one day.
