The Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Futian really left a great impression on me. The overall environment is clean and comfortable; from the public areas to the guest rooms, everything is meticulously maintained with attention to detail, making you feel at ease and relaxed the moment you step in. The hotel's facilities are high-end, fully equipped, and very well-kept, offering a top-notch experience. The gym, in particular, is excellent, with professional equipment and spacious surroundings, creating a fantastic atmosphere for workouts. It's perfect for keeping up with your routine even while staying at the hotel. The room at night is an added bonus; the city lights outside the window are dazzling, with the skyline fully visible. The wide-open view creates a wonderful ambiance, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful nightscape from the comfort of your bed. The overall experience was comfortable and high-quality, with attentive service. I highly recommend it for both business trips and leisure stays.

Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Shenzhen|0.94km from city center
My experience at Sheraton Shenzhen Grand China. I was assigned to the West Wing (there are East and West Wings). My first impression was that the West Wing elevators were chaotic, with various businesses like outsourced restaurants, conference halls, and wedding banquets all crammed together, making it quite noisy and messy. The room lighting was dim. At night, it was hard to see anything, especially for those with poor eyesight. The lighting controls were confusing and poorly labeled, with switches scattered about. The carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years; it was dark and dirty, just unbearable. While the room had windows, they couldn't be opened even a crack for ventilation, leaving the air stale and artificially stuffy. The buffet breakfast was monotonous, lacking the appeal characteristic of a five-star hotel. Despite being near the sea, there wasn't a single seafood item on offer. On the bright side: The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city's commercial district, making dining, accommodation, and transportation extremely convenient. The metro station is right downstairs, providing easy access to all major city landmarks. Taxis are always waiting outside the hotel, ready to go. You can find your desired restaurant within minutes, with a vast selection of cuisines from all over. Dining and shopping go hand-in-hand, with restaurants and clothing stores right next to each other. The floor attendants were all very enthusiastic, quick to respond to small requests and handle them efficiently. The room's soundproofing was adequate; external noise was barely audible, making it relatively quiet. My conclusion: The room price was high, and I didn't feel I got good value for money or high-quality service. While the staff I encountered were enthusiastic, their professional skills were lacking. They were often unable to answer basic questions, like those about the hotel's surroundings or transportation, often responding with a shrug or suggesting I 'ask someone else.' It was truly frustrating. Those paying with someone else's money might not care, but for those of us paying out of pocket, it's quite painful!

Huanggang Port and Futian Port Shenzhen|3.55km from city center
I planned a trip during the Chinese New Year and compared several hotels before finally choosing the Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhen. I was drawn to its location, and we arrived as scheduled on the fifth day of the New Year. Our group of six took a taxi from Shenzhen Bao'an Airport to the hotel, which took about half an hour. I guess there wasn't much traffic due to the holiday. Upon arrival, I noticed it's in the Futian Free Trade Zone, and Futian District is Shenzhen's city center, close to Futian Port. The hotel has a fairly large footprint. The lobby has an old-money vibe, which is understandable as it's one of Shenzhen's older five-star hotels, so it's a bit dated. We booked one Deluxe King Room and two Select Twin Rooms. The hotel is divided into an East Wing and a West Wing. The Deluxe King Room was in the East Wing, and the Select Twin Rooms were in the West Wing. It's worth noting that the two buildings are quite far apart. You can access the East Wing directly from the lobby floor, but for the West Wing, you need to take an elevator up to the 5th floor, then navigate three corridors, walking for about a minute to reach the West Wing, and then use your key card to go up to your floor. It's a bit of a trek and not a direct elevator ride. I suspect the West Wing was added later. The Deluxe Room was slightly smaller and only had a bathtub. The king bed was 1.83 meters, quite large. The Select Room, I believe, is an executive room; it was very spacious, probably around 30 square meters. The twin beds were 1.35 meters, which is good compared to the 1.2-meter beds in other hotels. The bedding was very comfortable and soft. The bathroom had a shower. Although the hardware is a bit old, the service is excellent. The soundproofing in this room is genuinely good; we stayed for four nights and didn't hear any noise. Especially the surroundings of the Select Room – it was high, spacious, and open, creating a very comfortable and un-claustrophobic environment. The cleanliness was also superb. The hotel staff were very warm and friendly; it definitely lives up to five-star service. The breakfast was standard, meeting the hotel's expected quality. If you don't include breakfast, it's 88 RMB per person for the buffet. Getting around is also very convenient. Taxis and subways are readily available, and there are plenty of shared bikes (Mobike, Ofo, etc.) nearby. We cycled around the city many times. In February, Shenzhen was already warm enough for short sleeves, making cycling very pleasant. For those going to Hong Kong, you can reach Futian Port by shared bike in 3 minutes to take the subway to Hong Kong, or take a taxi for 10 minutes to Futian Station (Gate 12A) and take the high-speed rail for 14 minutes to Hong Kong West Kowloon. Crossing the border is also very quick now. This trip to Shenzhen was a great experience, mainly because I slept so well due to the excellent soundproofing; there was no noise at all. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shenzhen, which is why I'm leaving this review. The hotel offers a station transfer service (shuttle bus): Didn't get a chance to use it.

Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Shenzhen|1.12km from city center
I booked this hotel last minute after spending two days in Dameisha, and to my surprise, the experience was fantastic. From service to ambiance, dining to cleanliness, the Ritz-Carlton perfectly showcased the quality expected of a top luxury hotel. The day before check-in, a staff member contacted me to inquire about my preferences and schedule. The next day, I had a smooth check-in, and they thoughtfully prepared toiletries for my child. I had seen some reviews saying the hotel wasn't very welcoming to children, but that's absolutely not true! From the doorman to the lobby staff and every other team member I encountered, everyone was incredibly warm, sincere, and polite. Traveling with my two children, I felt truly touched by their kindness. The room was clean, bright, and airy, with not a speck of dust in any corner. The bedding was comfortable, and they even offered a variety of pillows to choose from, which was a huge plus for a picky sleeper like me. The breakfast was rich and exquisite – and I say that based on comparisons with other hotels in the same price range. The outdoor pool also deserves a special mention; the night view, in particular, was stunning, far more impressive in person than in pictures. This time, I was short on time and couldn't experience the spa, but I did try the indoor hot spring and steam room, which were incredibly relaxing and washed away the fatigue of a long day. To sum up the Ritz-Carlton in one sentence: it's a hotel you won't want to leave, and one you'll definitely return to.

Hotel environment: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5 Hotel facilities: 5/5 Breakfast: Didn't get to try it as I overslept. Night shift assistant manager's service attitude: 0/5 Last night, something unexpected happened. We checked in at 4 AM, and around 5 AM, the turndown service staff, after ringing the doorbell with no response, swiped their card and opened the door. This startled my girlfriend, who was sound asleep, as she thought I had returned. After we checked in, she fell fast asleep. I quietly went downstairs to the bar for a drink. Then, I suddenly received a message saying someone had opened the door and entered, thinking it was me returning. I immediately rushed back upstairs to check. I believe the room service attendant was just following procedure, so I don't fault them. However, the professionalism and attitude of the night shift assistant manager were truly disappointing. I frequently stay in hotels, so I know to put out the 'Do Not Disturb' sign. But I never imagined that after checking in at 4 AM, someone would swipe into the room for turndown service barely an hour later. I've stayed in five-star hotels for decades and have never encountered such unprofessionalism – assuming a recently checked-in guest isn't in the room. Anyway, she really liked the two complimentary cups they sent afterward, so I won't give you a one-star review. I'll give you five stars, hoping you can be as good as Four Seasons worldwide. Please ask guests if they need turndown service before they check in. I hope to see an improvement next time I visit.

The hotel's location is quite convenient, and Anita, my usual contact person, is very thoughtful. The room is clean, tidy, and spacious, with soft and comfortable bedding. It has a TV and WiFi, and the bathroom is a wet/dry separation, so the facilities are very complete. You can sit and relax while checking in at the front desk, and the process is quick. The housekeeping service is meticulous and thorough, and the hallway is quiet with no noise. The location is convenient, and it offers great value for money. All the staff are very warm and proactive in greeting guests. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the experience and will definitely choose to stay here again next time.

The hotel's location near the city center is very convenient. The service was excellent, and the overall feel pretty much matched the pictures. After reading some reviews, I think this place is quite good for families traveling together. Next time, if I get the chance, I'd like to book a family room, as they seem very nice and suitable for adults with children. The facilities and amenities are also very complete. The hotel even thoughtfully provided children's slippers and toothbrushes. It was super convenient to visit Dongmen Old Street from here, the location is truly excellent. Plus, there's a subway station on the -2 floor of the hotel, making getting around a breeze.

Extremely satisfied! The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. We were traveling with kids and wanted a beachfront hotel so both adults and children could relax. The hotel has a great outdoor playground, and the indoor heated pool was a big hit with the little ones. It shares a beach with the InterContinental, which is very convenient and not crowded at all. The sand on the beach is incredibly soft. Most importantly, the sea-view room offered a truly fantastic view. I first fell in love with The Langham when I stayed there in Los Angeles, then I went to The Langham Guangzhou for my second visit, and now Shenzhen is my third. My biggest impression this time is how incredibly soundproof the hotel is! The room was spacious and fully functional with a clever design. I only took two photos, but they can't describe how much I loved it! They gave me a room right by the elevator, which I was worried about because I'm sensitive to noise. I wanted to ask the front desk to change rooms, but they were fully booked, so I had to just stick with it. However, I slept incredibly well! I could only occasionally hear a faint 'ding' from the elevator when I was right at my door, and there was no noise from people talking in the hallway. It was so quiet! So comfortable! I briefly experienced the lounge. It wasn't as good as the one in Guangzhou, but it was sufficient. There were a lot of foreigners there, haha! I'll definitely stay here again next time!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Soul-Soothing Escape We Keep Coming Back To: Our family stayed at Evergreen Resort Hotel on January 15, 2026, and it was once again an unforgettable experience. This place truly feels like a hidden gem tucked into the mountainside, offering the kind of peace and natural beauty that completely melts away city stress. The serene treehouse-style accommodations nestled along the hillside create a magical, almost storybook atmosphere that feels both adventurous and deeply relaxing. One of our favorite spots is the wooden deck overlooking the city — a perfect place to sit quietly, breathe, and listen to the sounds of nature. Traveling with a 2-year-old can be challenging, but not here. Our son absolutely loves the surrounding nature adventure park, with its walking paths, rope bridges, hiking challenges, natural playgrounds, pink sand areas, and even a pottery studio. The afternoon cultural performances add such a special touch, and spotting wildlife along the way makes every walk feel like an adventure. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, and what truly makes this place shine is the incredibly kind and caring staff who make you feel welcomed and looked after from the moment you arrive. Evergreen isn’t just a hotel stay — it’s a restorative experience for the mind, body, and soul. We’re already back again, and we can’t wait for many more visits in the future.

The room was clean and spacious, with a luxurious design. The hotel restaurants were excellent, each with its own unique flavor. For breakfast, in addition to northern-style braised tofu pudding, they also offered freshly made pho, omelets, Chinese dishes, Western cuisine, and cold Japanese dishes. The buffet was delicious. The Sichuan restaurant on the first floor served authentic and flavorful dishes, and the pizzas and pastas at the Italian restaurant were also quite good (for Western food). The hotel staff were very friendly and thoughtfully arranged for my room to be on a higher floor. The facilities were also fantastic, with a high-end warm bath and steam room in the outdoor pool changing area. All in all, I was very satisfied with my stay and will definitely be back!

Shenye Shangcheng/Lian Hua Shan Park Shenzhen|2.09km from city center
As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel. However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

The St. Regis' iconic butler service is truly exceptional. From check-in and being escorted to our room by the butler, to their 24-hour quick responses throughout our stay – everything was commendable! The room arrangements, breakfast seating, and breakfast variety all showcased excellent management. The staff were all incredibly friendly. My daughter scraped her knee at the pool, and a staff member immediately brought a first-aid kit to help. It was a very satisfying stay, and our whole family was delighted!

Stayed here for a business trip to Shenzhen. The overall environment and location are great, very convenient for getting around, and it's close to Sea World. I really like Shenzhen; I had so many business trips here last year that I'm getting more and more familiar with the city. Definitely recommend for business travelers!

The room was spacious with a great view. It's quite convenient, only a 10-minute taxi ride to Dameisha. The staff were all very welcoming and someone helped with our luggage. There's a shopping mall right next to the hotel, making dining incredibly convenient. The self-service breakfast restaurant also boasts a fantastic view. It would have been even better if the room provided plastic slippers, as the fabric disposable ones were uncomfortable to wear. Also, the quality of the noodle soup broth could use improvement. I stayed for three nights, and the broth for the first two mornings was supposedly seafood soup, but I didn't see a single shrimp, and the rice noodles were basically flavorless. The first photo was taken from the hotel room. The second photo was taken at the hotel restaurant. The third photo is of Dameisha Outpost.

Window of the World/Shenzhen Happy Valley Shenzhen|8.42km from city center
Great location—about a 2-minute walk to Window of the World, next to a large mall, and many places to eat (from very local options to Italian food). We had an okay room. The bathroom was a bit tricky because of the layout and the different doors (between the toilet, the shower, and the open area). We specifically booked this room for access to the Executive Lounge, but I don’t think this was a good decision. The Lounge was very basic, not well ventilated, and it didn’t offer much variety. It’s marketed as different, so next time we’ll know not to book it. We usually book rooms with this access because we have kids. The pool is very nice and at a perfect temperature. The only downside is that you need to wear a swim cap, even though it’s an outdoor pool. Also, the small bar and food outlets outside were closed, so it was difficult to get drinks or food. We had to go buy things outside, or order by going inside and bringing them ourselves. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The housekeeping team is the best! We received treats for our son, including specific amenities for him. And since it was my husband’s birthday, we also received a complimentary small piece of cake—nice detail.

Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport Shenzhen|26.69km from city center
The room was quite spacious, with an extra-large bed that I'd estimate is over two meters wide. It offered a runway view, and the windows had double-layer soundproofing, plus an additional glass door, so you could barely hear the take-off noise from the bed – quite impressive! The location is still very convenient. During the day, you can enter directly through gate 18, but at night, you have to use gate 16 and take the parking lot elevator up. The hotel is a bit further to walk within the complex compared to the other two Hyatt hotels on the other side, but its grand decor definitely outshines them. Another convenient point is that this hotel has direct access to an external road for taxis, which isn't possible for the other two Hyatts where you can only access them from within the ground transportation center. The hotel pool is a decent size, though it's a bit shallow, ranging from 1.2 meters to 0.8 meters deep. There's also a heated jacuzzi. Overall, the experience was quite good and met Hyatt's standards.

The views and location are absolutely superb. From the floor-to-ceiling windows, you get an uninterrupted sea view, and you can even spot the yacht club and K11. Across the bay, you can see the mountains of Hong Kong. Step out of the hotel, cross the road, and you're at Sea World, which has everything you could want for dining, entertainment, and shopping. Right next to the hotel is a cultural and art center with two cafes and a bakery, both offering great food and scenery. The hotel's own buffet breakfast is also excellent, with a wide variety of fresh ingredients. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, clean, and tidy, and the staff are very friendly, making you feel right at home.

Window of the World/Shenzhen Happy Valley Shenzhen|7.6km from city center
Summary: Highly recommended for families with kids! This is the ultimate parent-child hotel in downtown Shenzhen! Facilities: It boasts a non-powered amusement park, a carousel, an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor water play area, an outdoor sand beach, and a mini-train! You can even get free fish food from the restaurant to feed the koi! Kids can easily spend two full days here without getting bored! Room: The front desk saw we had two kids and upgraded us to a two-bedroom apartment. It's incredibly spacious, with three bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. There's even a washing machine (perfect for spin-drying swimsuits after water play or drying wet clothes)! Absolutely perfect! Buffet: The package included two buffet meals: breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, you can pick your own fruit in a little basket and have the staff make fresh juice – that alone is unbeatable! Compared to other five-star hotels, there are so many made-to-order options for breakfast (even more than the pre-made ones), plus freshly steamed rice rolls, a Guangdong specialty! The dinner buffet selection isn't huge, but they have oysters, shrimp, crab, sashimi, lamb racks, and pan-fried beef, all of excellent quality! The desserts were especially festive, as it was Easter!

The environment here is lovely, really fitting for a resort, and the facilities aren't too outdated. It's perfect for families with kids, truly a hands-off experience for parents. I was also very pleased with the room; it was comfortable enough, and the bed had just the right firmness. The buffet is definitely worth trying, with lots of creative dishes and great value for money. Oh, and the beach is fantastic too, kids absolutely love playing there, even if the sand is a bit firm.

The service here is impeccable, and the vacation vibe starts the moment you walk in. My friends and I came to Mission Hills Shenzhen for a weekend getaway, and we were warmly greeted from the moment we stepped out of the car. The bellhop proactively took our luggage and thoughtfully pointed out where the shuttle stops were within the resort. At check-in, the front desk attendant noticed our little one's ID showed it was their birthday and immediately presented them with a small gift – that was a lovely surprise! The room was very spacious, with a balcony overlooking the golf course, which was incredibly relaxing. In the evening, I treated myself to a spa session. The therapist's technique was professional, especially the traditional Chinese massage, which really eased the aches and pains that had bothered me for a long time. I definitely have to give a big thumbs up for that! For breakfast, I tried the congee, and it was absolutely delicious – all my tiredness just melted away. Overall, it was a very relaxing weekend.

This little village hides a quiet beach with crystal clear water. Maybe it was the off-season, but there weren't many people, and I absolutely loved that feeling! Being able to step right out to the beach was amazing, and there were some really nice restaurants nearby. The room was well-planned and compact, and I slept very comfortably at night. I personally really enjoy collecting seashells on the beach. The owner also has a pizza restaurant, and they even brought us some sweet dessert soup in the evening, which was delicious. It's a shame we only stayed one night due to our travel plans – I really wish I could be a Shenzhen local, haha! Just a heads-up, many places nearby are called 'White House,' so keep an eye out; this one is the closest to that beautiful restaurant. My only regret is that the beach is closed off at night, and we didn't have enough time to explore more. (And a note to the owner: please put out more conditioner; there was only a little bit left, and it wouldn't pump out!)

Superb value! I reached the hotel ahead of time and the front desk staff allowed me to check in at noon. Cleanliness is top-notch. Housekeeping & dining cafe staff are friendly. The location of the hotel cannot be faulted - it’s just opposite SEG Electronics Mall across the big junction. Walk thru the underground pedestrian access and you’ll be at the line 1 Huaqiang Road metro station in no time. Recommended!

The hotel's location is quite good, making it convenient for getting around. The front desk service is also very professional, and they respond promptly to any issues. I think the room is great, with a good location in Nanshan District. I stayed in Shenzhen for three nights on a business trip. It has a washing machine and dryer. Hygiene: Very clean, and there's a bathtub for soaking. Environment: There's a large swimming pool and gym downstairs. Facilities: Very complete. An elementary school is across the street. The front desk staff are all gentle and patient, and there's also an Indian bellman who is very humorous and proactively helped me with my luggage. Five stars, highly recommend!

The location is really great — not far from the subway station and convenient for visiting attractions. The hotel is right next to the boardwalk, with the sea just outside the door. There are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby, all within walking distance. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. Xiao Jiang gave us complimentary breakfast, which made the experience even better!
