The location is fantastic! It's about a 30-minute drive from the airport, and there's a subway station right downstairs. We were less than a 10-minute walk from Zhuoyue Center, and there were all sorts of restaurants and convenience stores nearby – super convenient. The room was spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a great view of the Ping An Finance Center, which was the purpose of our trip. The bedding was really comfortable; the kids slept soundly. As a family of two adults and two children, pushing the twin beds together to make a king was perfect. The breakfast was also quite good, with various local specialties like rice noodle rolls and congee. The restaurant even had a small play area for kids. The staff provided excellent service. They went out of their way to accommodate our extra requests. A special thanks to the staff member who helped me with my luggage when I was carrying my child upon arrival. Yoyo provided good service.

Huanggang Port and Futian Port Shenzhen|3.55km from city center
I planned a trip during the Chinese New Year and compared several hotels before finally choosing the Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhen. I was drawn to its location, and we arrived as scheduled on the fifth day of the New Year. Our group of six took a taxi from Shenzhen Bao'an Airport to the hotel, which took about half an hour. I guess there wasn't much traffic due to the holiday. Upon arrival, I noticed it's in the Futian Free Trade Zone, and Futian District is Shenzhen's city center, close to Futian Port. The hotel has a fairly large footprint. The lobby has an old-money vibe, which is understandable as it's one of Shenzhen's older five-star hotels, so it's a bit dated. We booked one Deluxe King Room and two Select Twin Rooms. The hotel is divided into an East Wing and a West Wing. The Deluxe King Room was in the East Wing, and the Select Twin Rooms were in the West Wing. It's worth noting that the two buildings are quite far apart. You can access the East Wing directly from the lobby floor, but for the West Wing, you need to take an elevator up to the 5th floor, then navigate three corridors, walking for about a minute to reach the West Wing, and then use your key card to go up to your floor. It's a bit of a trek and not a direct elevator ride. I suspect the West Wing was added later. The Deluxe Room was slightly smaller and only had a bathtub. The king bed was 1.83 meters, quite large. The Select Room, I believe, is an executive room; it was very spacious, probably around 30 square meters. The twin beds were 1.35 meters, which is good compared to the 1.2-meter beds in other hotels. The bedding was very comfortable and soft. The bathroom had a shower. Although the hardware is a bit old, the service is excellent. The soundproofing in this room is genuinely good; we stayed for four nights and didn't hear any noise. Especially the surroundings of the Select Room – it was high, spacious, and open, creating a very comfortable and un-claustrophobic environment. The cleanliness was also superb. The hotel staff were very warm and friendly; it definitely lives up to five-star service. The breakfast was standard, meeting the hotel's expected quality. If you don't include breakfast, it's 88 RMB per person for the buffet. Getting around is also very convenient. Taxis and subways are readily available, and there are plenty of shared bikes (Mobike, Ofo, etc.) nearby. We cycled around the city many times. In February, Shenzhen was already warm enough for short sleeves, making cycling very pleasant. For those going to Hong Kong, you can reach Futian Port by shared bike in 3 minutes to take the subway to Hong Kong, or take a taxi for 10 minutes to Futian Station (Gate 12A) and take the high-speed rail for 14 minutes to Hong Kong West Kowloon. Crossing the border is also very quick now. This trip to Shenzhen was a great experience, mainly because I slept so well due to the excellent soundproofing; there was no noise at all. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shenzhen, which is why I'm leaving this review. The hotel offers a station transfer service (shuttle bus): Didn't get a chance to use it.

The hotel's location is excellent! The room faces Civic Center and Lianhua Mountain Park, offering great views! It's especially convenient for trips to Hong Kong. There are several large shopping centers around the hotel. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's pretty well-maintained. This time, I encountered a minor issue on the last night: all the charging outlets in the room lost power. It was a small disappointment. I hope they can improve their inspections.

Extremely satisfied! The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. We were traveling with kids and wanted a beachfront hotel so both adults and children could relax. The hotel has a great outdoor playground, and the indoor heated pool was a big hit with the little ones. It shares a beach with the InterContinental, which is very convenient and not crowded at all. The sand on the beach is incredibly soft. Most importantly, the sea-view room offered a truly fantastic view. Had a great stay! The hotel's location is pretty good, close to the subway station, about a 10-minute walk. It's connected to 3 subway lines, making getting around very convenient, especially Line 11, which goes directly to the airport in less than an hour. There's also a shopping mall right next door, so shopping is a breeze. I stayed in an executive room, and the layout and flow were very well-designed. Some of the facilities showed thoughtful attention to detail, and the British-style decor was very comfortable. The square bathtub was quite unique – it was great to watch TV while taking a bath. The double sinks were a nice touch, and the shower had excellent water pressure with a good hot water supply. Room service was prompt, even though some amenities were out of stock. Their explanations and handling of the situation were spot-on, so I was still very impressed! The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the dining experience was good. Cheong fun (rice noodle rolls) and ramen were made to order, and there were cards on the tables to prevent long queues and crowding. The lounge's afternoon tea had a rich selection and was delicious. The evening light meal was decent one day but not so good on another. The male staff in the lounge were very friendly and attentive, while the female staff were a bit more formal. The gym and swimming pool were both quite clean. Overall, it was a very positive experience. Recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Soul-Soothing Escape We Keep Coming Back To: Our family stayed at Evergreen Resort Hotel on January 15, 2026, and it was once again an unforgettable experience. This place truly feels like a hidden gem tucked into the mountainside, offering the kind of peace and natural beauty that completely melts away city stress. The serene treehouse-style accommodations nestled along the hillside create a magical, almost storybook atmosphere that feels both adventurous and deeply relaxing. One of our favorite spots is the wooden deck overlooking the city — a perfect place to sit quietly, breathe, and listen to the sounds of nature. Traveling with a 2-year-old can be challenging, but not here. Our son absolutely loves the surrounding nature adventure park, with its walking paths, rope bridges, hiking challenges, natural playgrounds, pink sand areas, and even a pottery studio. The afternoon cultural performances add such a special touch, and spotting wildlife along the way makes every walk feel like an adventure. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, and what truly makes this place shine is the incredibly kind and caring staff who make you feel welcomed and looked after from the moment you arrive. Evergreen isn’t just a hotel stay — it’s a restorative experience for the mind, body, and soul. We’re already back again, and we can’t wait for many more visits in the future.

The room was clean and spacious, with a luxurious design. The hotel restaurants were excellent, each with its own unique flavor. For breakfast, in addition to northern-style braised tofu pudding, they also offered freshly made pho, omelets, Chinese dishes, Western cuisine, and cold Japanese dishes. The buffet was delicious. The Sichuan restaurant on the first floor served authentic and flavorful dishes, and the pizzas and pastas at the Italian restaurant were also quite good (for Western food). The hotel staff were very friendly and thoughtfully arranged for my room to be on a higher floor. The facilities were also fantastic, with a high-end warm bath and steam room in the outdoor pool changing area. All in all, I was very satisfied with my stay and will definitely be back!

I booked this hotel last minute for a business trip, and it exceeded my expectations by a long shot. The hotel has definitely been around for a few years, and its decor is a bit old-fashioned, with facilities that aren't exactly cutting-edge. You can tell there's some wear and tear in the hallways and rooms, but overall, it's pretty well-maintained and doesn't feel run down. The room itself was spotlessly clean, no odd smells, and the bedding was fresh and soft. The pillows were just the right height, making for a very comfortable sleep. The air conditioning worked perfectly for both heating and cooling, and the hot water came out quickly with good pressure, which was great for showers. The internet was stable too, so no lag whether I was working or streaming shows. The soundproofing isn't amazing, but it wasn't noisy at night, so it didn't really disturb my rest. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick, and they patiently answered all my questions. The cleaning staff were also very polite and greeted me proactively. The location is convenient for getting around, with plenty of places to eat and easy access to taxis. For its area, it offers excellent value for money. While it's not a new hotel and doesn't have a luxurious feel, it wins on cleanliness, quietness, practicality, and excellent service. I felt secure and comfortable during my stay. It's perfectly adequate for business trips and everyday stays, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance.

The room was spacious with a great view. It's quite convenient, only a 10-minute taxi ride to Dameisha. The staff were all very welcoming and someone helped with our luggage. There's a shopping mall right next to the hotel, making dining incredibly convenient. The self-service breakfast restaurant also boasts a fantastic view. It would have been even better if the room provided plastic slippers, as the fabric disposable ones were uncomfortable to wear. Also, the quality of the noodle soup broth could use improvement. I stayed for three nights, and the broth for the first two mornings was supposedly seafood soup, but I didn't see a single shrimp, and the rice noodles were basically flavorless. The first photo was taken from the hotel room. The second photo was taken at the hotel restaurant. The third photo is of Dameisha Outpost.

Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the restaurant environment was quiet and comfortable. Whether for a business trip or a short break, it felt incredibly relaxing and refined. Overall, a perfect experience, and I'll definitely choose this hotel first next time.

A stay to remember: The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen. Review of Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen Reviewed yesterday There are hotels you visit, and then there are hotels that leave an imprint on your soul. The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, belongs firmly and unequivocally in the latter category. From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means. Arrival and Reception First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you. The Club Skyline View Room If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty. The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Every detail, from the lighting controls to the turndown service to the quiet hum of climate perfection, spoke of a property that understands the difference between filling a room with expensive things and creating a genuine sense of place and comfort. The Mandarin Club Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people. Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. I returned to the lounge far more often than I had planned, not just for the excellent food and drink,

Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport Shenzhen|26.69km from city center
The room was quite spacious, with an extra-large bed that I'd estimate is over two meters wide. It offered a runway view, and the windows had double-layer soundproofing, plus an additional glass door, so you could barely hear the take-off noise from the bed – quite impressive! The location is still very convenient. During the day, you can enter directly through gate 18, but at night, you have to use gate 16 and take the parking lot elevator up. The hotel is a bit further to walk within the complex compared to the other two Hyatt hotels on the other side, but its grand decor definitely outshines them. Another convenient point is that this hotel has direct access to an external road for taxis, which isn't possible for the other two Hyatts where you can only access them from within the ground transportation center. The hotel pool is a decent size, though it's a bit shallow, ranging from 1.2 meters to 0.8 meters deep. There's also a heated jacuzzi. Overall, the experience was quite good and met Hyatt's standards.

The views and location are absolutely superb. From the floor-to-ceiling windows, you get an uninterrupted sea view, and you can even spot the yacht club and K11. Across the bay, you can see the mountains of Hong Kong. Step out of the hotel, cross the road, and you're at Sea World, which has everything you could want for dining, entertainment, and shopping. Right next to the hotel is a cultural and art center with two cafes and a bakery, both offering great food and scenery. The hotel's own buffet breakfast is also excellent, with a wide variety of fresh ingredients. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, clean, and tidy, and the staff are very friendly, making you feel right at home.

Window of the World/Shenzhen Happy Valley Shenzhen|7.6km from city center
Summary: Highly recommended for families with kids! This is the ultimate parent-child hotel in downtown Shenzhen! Facilities: It boasts a non-powered amusement park, a carousel, an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor water play area, an outdoor sand beach, and a mini-train! You can even get free fish food from the restaurant to feed the koi! Kids can easily spend two full days here without getting bored! Room: The front desk saw we had two kids and upgraded us to a two-bedroom apartment. It's incredibly spacious, with three bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. There's even a washing machine (perfect for spin-drying swimsuits after water play or drying wet clothes)! Absolutely perfect! Buffet: The package included two buffet meals: breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, you can pick your own fruit in a little basket and have the staff make fresh juice – that alone is unbeatable! Compared to other five-star hotels, there are so many made-to-order options for breakfast (even more than the pre-made ones), plus freshly steamed rice rolls, a Guangdong specialty! The dinner buffet selection isn't huge, but they have oysters, shrimp, crab, sashimi, lamb racks, and pan-fried beef, all of excellent quality! The desserts were especially festive, as it was Easter!

This stay was extremely disappointing. If it weren't for my baby being so young and unable to handle moving around, I would have checked out immediately. The staff who interacted with guests were all pleasant. The butler, front desk, and housekeeping operators were polite in their communication, but there was a significant disconnect between the promised service and the actual execution, leading to a huge gap in my actual experience. **The room issues were appalling and completely unsuitable for infants:** 1. **The bed rail was old, worn, and dangerous, offering no safety whatsoever.** The bed rail provided for the baby had multiple holes, its length didn't match the bed, the edges were crudely tied with plastic rope, and the rough edges were scratchy. Most crucially, there was a huge gap between the rail and the bed, wide enough for the baby to crawl out underneath. I had to improvise by lining pillows around it to block the gap. For a five-star hotel to use an item with such serious safety hazards is truly incomprehensible. 2. **The floor cleaning was severely subpar; not even basic cleaning was guaranteed before check-in.** Upon entering, there were obvious biscuit crumbs on the floor. After my first complaint, the cleaning lady only cursorily swept twice with a very dirty broom. Walking barefoot at night, my feet were frequently pricked by small particles, and the floor was still covered in dirt the next day. My baby isn't walking yet and needs to crawl on the floor, so the hygiene situation was very concerning. Only after going downstairs to complain again was a deep machine clean arranged, and the difference in cleanliness before and after was like night and day. **Dining experience was inconsistent, and breakfast was chaotic.** The Chinese restaurant offered good food and service, and the dinner buffet was acceptable because it wasn't crowded. However, the breakfast buffet was extremely chaotic, with very poor overall management and a lack of order. This was completely inconsistent with the hotel's positioning. I came here specifically for a family vacation and the Marriott brand, but the actual experience didn't even meet basic standards. I truly do not recommend this hotel for families with young children.

The room was very comfortable. We booked it for three days. Our butler, Phoebe, was very attentive and resolved all our issues quickly. We came down for breakfast quite late, but it was really delicious! The minibar was complimentary: there were drinks in the room, and the staff replenished them the next day. We also had a 20-minute photoshoot package, but couldn't use it due to the rain. Overall, it was a good stay.

Superb value! I reached the hotel ahead of time and the front desk staff allowed me to check in at noon. Cleanliness is top-notch. Housekeeping & dining cafe staff are friendly. The location of the hotel cannot be faulted - it’s just opposite SEG Electronics Mall across the big junction. Walk thru the underground pedestrian access and you’ll be at the line 1 Huaqiang Road metro station in no time. Recommended!

The hotel's location is quite good, making it convenient for getting around. The front desk service is also very professional, and they respond promptly to any issues. A unique feature is that the rooms come with a washing machine and an induction cooker. If needed, you can request cooking utensils from the front desk to prepare your own meals.

I think the room is great, with a good location in Nanshan District. I stayed in Shenzhen for three nights on a business trip. It has a washing machine and dryer. Hygiene: Very clean, and there's a bathtub for soaking. Environment: There's a large swimming pool and gym downstairs. Facilities: Very complete. An elementary school is across the street. The front desk staff are all gentle and patient, and there's also an Indian bellman who is very humorous and proactively helped me with my luggage. Five stars, highly recommend!
