Booked this hotel for a company training, and it's super convenient – right by Chunxi Road, and the subway exit is practically at the hotel entrance. The front desk manager was amazing, I wish I knew her name! I'd booked a 399 RMB room, but they upgraded me to a deluxe executive king room, probably because they were short on standard rooms. The room itself was fantastic after I checked in! And the breakfast selection was incredible! Seriously, so many choices it was dizzying and overwhelming in the best way possible. Full marks! Highly recommend! Plus, you get a beautiful night view! It was stunning!

The hotel's location is excellent; Chunxi Road is just across the skybridge. It's very convenient to have the car drop you off directly at the lobby when you're heading out. The hotel is clean and the service is great. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and tastes delicious. I trust the InterContinental brand.

Hotel was in a relatively good location. Within walking distance there are malls and food stalls. Opposite hotel was the Sichuan opera theatre. Recommended to watch at least once. Hotel is able to get the tickets at cheaper rates. For the two bedroom suite, it is suitable for family of 5 with 1 child inclusive. There is one master bedroom which is directly linked to the toilet with a bathtub. Other room and second toilet is separated. Kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery etc. detergent is also provided for the washer. Refrigerator has normal and freezer compartment. Balcony is locked but you can sign an indemnity form to open it. Slippers provided are of good quality and house keeping is good. Only downside is the different little issues for different room we stayed in like hot water tap not working. hotel is connected to a mall, the HK cafe there is recommended. Food is good. Also the bakery sells really good chocolate bun. You can find it right after u enter the mall through hotel lobby. The best thing of course was Tina, who always served with a smiling face and takes the initiative to add you on WeChat to cater to your queries whenever you need. she was also the one who helped to provide breakfast for our child whose breakfast was not included. The other lady who served us on the first night told us we had to pay. It was a very nice gesture from Tina. look for Tina if u stay here, she will be a great help. For the breakfast,it is not the most fanciful but sufficient. Food changes daily but some food type stays the same. They have a paper where you can order noodles, egg omelette, pancakes and waffles. It will be served to you directly so thats a nice touch. They even provide disposable cups for the coffee machine with lids so that you can bring it out if you are in hurry or needed more drink. On weekday and weekend breakfast, the crowd was just nice unlike some hotels where it feels overwhelming and overcrowded due to the huge influx of tourists and there is no need to worry about food running out. Only downside for us is we can’t differentiate the type of meat. We don’t eat beef but it doesn’t state on the labels so we had to ask each time we wanted to take meat or dishes with meat. It is easy to call for DIDI (their taxis) from the hotel. If you have 4 pax or less, hotel can call for you but more than that, you have to arrange yourself. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a comfortable stay. Definitely you can’t compare the price to a cheaper hotel. You are paying for quality over here.

The hotel's location is excellent, close to Taikoo Li, IFS, and Wenshu Monastery. The Sichuan Science and Technology Museum is right next door. There are also many local Sichuan restaurants and hot pot places nearby. The hotel breakfast on the 25th floor is incredibly rich, with specialty noodles, freshly squeezed juice, and freshly ground coffee. The cupcakes are highly recommended – they have a rich butter and egg flavor. In the evening, we enjoyed champagne and delicious black truffle fries at the executive lounge. Leon, the manager who checked us in, was incredibly patient and responsible. Knowing that our trip was all about local food, he recommended many dishes, and none of them disappointed. He even actively and enthusiastically helped us find local peppercorns and chili, which wasn't even part of his job! Many thanks again!!!!

The hotel lobby is quite small. When checking in, we were greeted with a champagne welcome ceremony, and the lobby manager was very enthusiastic. The 'Panda Family Room' we booked was essentially a regular king room with an extra bed. The bedding in the room had panda elements, and the children's toiletries also featured panda branding. If you're just looking for an extra bed for an older child, a king room with an added bed might be more suitable. Overall, the service wasn't particularly special. When I asked if they had any laundry soap or detergent to clean my accidentally dirtied shoes, the answer was no. The check-out process was noticeably less enthusiastic than check-in, though they did offer two bottles of water for the road. Regarding the Florence Village package and similar offerings, these were never proactively introduced from check-in to check-out. The breakfast selection was rich, but during peak hours, you had to go to the bar next door, which was across the hallway and inconvenient. On the first day, we received a very cute panda mousse, which was the only five-star highlight. On the second day, there was none, nor was there any fruit.

Returned to Chengdu from Western Sichuan after celebrating my mother's birthday, and booked a room with executive lounge access. It was truly great value for money. The ladies at the executive lounge were all lovely and patient. One of them helped me get a cheesecake (which was surprisingly delicious!). I didn't get a chance to thank her when I left because she was busy, but I wanted to give her a special shout-out; she was always so proactive in interacting with guests without being intrusive. When checking out, I also went to the executive lounge and tried their special Sichuan peppercorn Black Forest cake. I thought they would just deduct the cost from my deposit, but they refunded the full amount instead.

This was my second time staying at Guangguang with my daughter. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. Overall, the experience was better than the first time. They've sealed off the passages to the mall and the vehicle exit, which means fewer random people around. The staff were all proactive in greeting us. I do have a couple of minor complaints though: first, both hot and cold water taps in the shower were only dispensing scalding water, but an engineer came and fixed it quickly; second, it took over ten minutes to get two extra towels, indicating slow service response; and third, the guest service center phone was always slow to answer or no one picked up at all. I hope these points can be improved! This is an objective review!

The hotel has incorrectly listed room names on the booking. We booked a “private hot spring courtyard suite”. We we arrived, we were given a different room without a private hot spring or a balcony as advertised. I had to go to the service and show them my booking, they said that the pictures of the room were correct but the description wasn’t. They agreed to change my room to the one me advertised in the description after a while but it took a lot of discussion. The staff upstairs were lovely, but the hotel needs to fix this issue so other people don’t get caught out too. It’s been 2 weeks since we checked out and the listing hasn’t been fixed and is still incorrect. Once we got the correct room it was lovely, the location is great and very central. But just be aware that you might not get the room advertised when you check in.

This is our second stay within a week (after 2 nights at Jiuzhaigou). When we returned, it’s comforting to be greeted warmly by Xiao Zhang at the reception again (he checked us in one our first stay). Although the staff are on shifts and we met different people each day, everyone showed the same level of friendliness and helpfulness. We enjoyed a free upgrade again and loved the room with modern decor, and opportunity to wash our clothes before heading out again. We’re convinced that Sungold is the perfect base to explore Chengdu and other attractions in Sichuan. We’re off to Dujiangyan and Qingchen, and will be back here again for another 2 nights!

Shangri-La has become a regular stop for us before heading home after our trips. It's always a perfect way to end our vacation, staying here comfortably for a night before returning. Our stay this time was excellent again, and we even got a free room upgrade, which was a nice little surprise. While the room's decor isn't brand new, the overall comfort and service are consistently good. We also tried the pool and gym this time. The gym has a good variety of equipment and is well-equipped. The pool environment is nice, but I found the water a bit chilly personally. If you're bringing kids, remember to keep them warm. The robot food delivery is usually quite fast, though it can be a bit slower during peak hours, taking about 10-20 minutes. The hotel's buffet restaurant offers a wide selection, especially breakfast, which is fantastic with plenty of choices, making it convenient for dining with children. Overall, it was another very satisfying stay. The environment, service, and dining all maintained their usual high standards.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! We brought our kids to Chengdu Courtyard Hotel, and it’s a hidden gem tucked away in Wenshufang. It’s an ancient Western Sichuan courtyard filled with intangible cultural heritage elements, offering a serene and charming ambiance. Everywhere you look, there are beautiful examples of Shu embroidery and bamboo weaving, which the kids absolutely loved. The front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful and even upgraded our room for free. Our butler, Xiao Fu, was always on hand to assist with anything we needed. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and they even provided amenities for children, making it a pleasant stay for both adults and kids. We had an excellent stay at the Millennium Hotel with our three girls. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome by surprising the kids with complimentary panda plush toys, which they absolutely loved. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and we especially appreciated the pillow menu, which was a nice touch. I don't understand why no one comment on the door for the toilet and washroom. It is open at the top, cold air free to flow in. You will freeze in there ifyour travel mate refuse to shut down the aircon. The decorative tables outside the room is placed simply. They don't bother is it in good alignment. The carpet was obviously tilted and appear as eyesore to me. The lift can be access by anyone without the room card to any floor. The hotel lied to me it is only access ible by guest on the particular floor. Location wise, it is not ideal enough if you are expecting real close to subway. Better look for other hotel. I regret my stay here due to the toilet and the walking distance to subway. The room is indeed very spacious but the downside are too impactful to me.

Came for a weekend stay with the little one, and it was surprisingly good! The restaurant has a cozy ambiance with warm lighting and greenery, making meals very pleasant. The buffet breakfast ingredients were visibly fresh, the cold dishes and salads were crisp and refreshing, and there was a great variety of good quality bread. After a hearty meal, we went for a swim. The pool was large and clean, and the evening lighting created a wonderful atmosphere. Lounging by the pool instantly gave us that 'holiday' feeling. The biggest plus was the kids' play area; my child absolutely loved the slide and we couldn't get them to leave, which completely freed up the adults' hands. The hotel offers laundry service, and what's especially thoughtful is that if you wash your clothes but can't dry them yourself, the front desk is happy to help, which is incredibly attentive and considerate. There's also freshly ground coffee available in the lobby, which business travelers and busy professionals will surely appreciate. Next to the coffee machine, they also offer fruit tea, which sounds refreshing and is quite nice. It's also very close to the subway station, just a 2-minute walk, making it super convenient for getting to attractions. Being very close to Chunxi Road, it offers excellent value for money, and I was extremely satisfied with my stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chengdu.

The surrounding environment is very quiet and not noisy at all. Xiaoyuan at the front desk service is warm and efficient, check-in and check-out are very fast, and there are questions and inquiries patiently answering, which makes people feel very comfortable. The room is clean and tidy, the wireless 🛜 is very high-speed; the TV is also very clear; then the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the sleep is particularly practical. The facilities are complete, the quality of toiletries is good, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the details are in place. The overall decoration is simple and atmospheric, with good lighting and ventilation, and the living is warm and comfortable.
